801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: que regarding BTC on: July 27, 2023, 07:58:04 PM
When two individuals open LN payment channel, they commit a certain amount of BTC to that channel. They can then transact with each other off-chain, updating the distribution of funds in the channel. These transactions are not immediately recorded on the blockchain, which reduces congestion and transaction fees. At any point, either party can decide to close the payment channel and settle the final balance on the blockchain. The closing transaction is an on-chain transaction, and its purpose is to reflect the final distribution of funds between the two parties after their off-chain transactions. Thus, the Lightning Network ultimately relies on the blockchain for security and to ensure the final settlement.
802  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How you can earn money from bitcointalk.org? on: July 26, 2023, 09:07:35 PM
i was thinking about earning through forums ~

Earning through forums can be possible but not guaranteed. You can for example start right now by selling products or services, or maybe freelancing if you have some skills that can be monetized online.
But if you are thinking about bounty and signature campaigns and displaying banner ads, it is probably best to build your user profile first.

~
and seems this forum doesn't recommend this one.

I don't know what you mean by this.
803  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Active members are promoting Bitcoin mixers, betting or casino. Lmao. on: July 25, 2023, 10:49:11 PM
Just joined BitcoinTalk forum and I must say, I'm quite surprised to see that it has turned into a place where 50% of the forum active members are promoting Bitcoin mixers, betting or casinos. Was hoping for more discussions on the technology and its possibilities.

There is plenty of discussion on the technology and its possibilities as well. It depends on the boards you visit. Mixers and gambling are discussed mainly in the Services sections, while the rest of the forum covers many other topics. Also, just because someone promotes mixers or gambling does not mean that is all they are interested in.

So, do you have an interesting topic or question that you want to discuss? Find a suitable board and open a topic. I am sure many forum members will join you there.
804  Economy / Reputation / Re: CryptoHF why give me some feedback on: July 24, 2023, 09:46:35 PM
I see a feedback with no reference. It's not unclear why CryptoHF left a feedback [Negative] and thinks you are an alt. When leaving a feedback especially a red one, a user must include a reference link.

A negative tag without a reference is absolutely unacceptable.
Now he left some more meaningless feedback, like some revenge on Stalker22  Huh

Stalker22    2023-07-23        Literally a baby who's crying on everything as his mother didn't breastfeed him well which is his own problem.

Yeah, that tag on my profile is actually a revised negative one that he left as retaliation to my neutral feedback. I am unsure if CryptoHF is really ignorant about using the trust system or actually an alt of some senior member who wants to stir some shit on the Reputation board but doesn't have the balls to expose his main account.

Anyway, I see that he is already distrusted by several DT1 members (including you), so there is no fear that he will become DT anytime soon. I figured it was best to ignore him for the time being.  Wink
805  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: July 24, 2023, 09:01:35 PM
What kind of toxic attacks on me are you doing here?
~

What the hell are you talking about? My reply was neither toxic, nor did I attack you. I simply asked you if you could give some examples, since you said, "There are plenty of crypto casinos that operate on an open blockchain," which I believe is not true. Stop being so overdramatic!

~
Yes, I may have described something inaccurately in previous post, but this is not a reason to write to me in such a way as you did.

My sincerest apologies, Your Majesty!  Roll Eyes
806  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Rise of Crypto Gambling: What You Need to Know on: July 23, 2023, 08:37:44 PM
1) The most important reason in my opinion is honesty. There are plenty of crypto casinos that operate on an open blockchain and easily provide their winning probabilities, which are involved inside their games, such as roulette, slot machines and the like. Shouldn't every casino be open? Casinos on NON-blockchain do not think so.

I am not sure I fully understand your point. Could you please provide some examples of popular casinos that operate on an open blockchain? It seems like you might be confusing the provably fair concept, which has nothing to do with blockchain technology except for its use of cryptography.
807  Other / Meta / Re: The problems newbies face on: July 23, 2023, 07:54:35 PM
So once I post something good like how many paragraph .

OP, it is not just about the paragraphs or how long your post is; what matters is the content you share. For example, you could try sharing your experiences or knowledge that can be beneficial to other members. Also, offering helpful solutions to problems or answering questions with valuable and relevant information can make a real difference.

An example of a bad post is, for instance, your last topic: What is political Economy. What were you trying to achieve with it, anyway?

So, instead of talking about non-existent attacks on newbies and getting merits, work on yourself and try harder to make a positive contribution to the community. By doing so, other users will recognize your efforts and value your input.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Irresponsible behavior at the Las Vegas Casino on: July 23, 2023, 07:14:26 PM
~
The point here is why gamblers do such shameless acts and what the rules of the casino suggest the penality for these acts. Do you think the gambler did it purposefully perhaps to become popular in the headlines  Huh

According to the report you shared, his wife claims the guy was drugged; someone had slipped some kind of psychedelic into his drink in his absence. I do not think this has anything to do with gambling and gamblers, even if the drug information is incorrect, the person may be suffering from some mental disorder. Anything is possible, but I doubt that many people in their right mind would decide on such a shameless act.
809  Economy / Reputation / Re: Known Alts of any-one - A User Generated List Mk IV (2023 Q3) [MODERATED] 🔬 on: July 23, 2023, 01:54:08 PM
He may have copied mine and not solved it.
After I explained to him a lot, he solved it.
Please don't blame me for other people's mistakes
Dude, you didn't create a POA in the campaign: Topic: [New Bounty] SpookyHalloweenCEO 🤑🤑 ~$10,000 worth of token and you did not register in the associated Bounty campaign.
After all above and below POA @Averill Gio, in the SpookyHalloweenCEO campaign that's not your POA.

Question.
* Where did the POA posted by: @Averill Gio come from, did he take it from your notebook at home.
*then why does @Averill Gio, have to choose your POA, while you don't register on the related Bounty, Is it a girlfriend, grandmother, aunt or uncle.

Dude, that's a fact, if you have multiple accounts and cheats, that's a risk because you rush to post a POA, so you don't check it in the notes, in the end you send an POA Alt.

You still have another Alt here, because your other Alt is connected to Twitter that you posted in another bounty campaign, named: Tweets:https://twitter.com/Nick2khan

Correct. And here is another of his alt accounts:

Accounts Connected: (Note: Banned shown in red / Inactive in Blue/Active)

https://ninjastic.space/search?content=0xcec2F8B300CF6B957168AdFF717208f282Ee6163&topic_id=5450002

User "mohiulbd" posted wrong POA 3 minutes before "Save world". Even though he changed it afterwards, it proves that they are alt accounts.

Miscellaneous:

User mohiulbd has already been tagged for abusing merit and you linked him to a bunch of other account farmers a few years ago here. I will tag all three accounts for bounty cheating.
810  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone Loan using My Account on: July 22, 2023, 10:03:30 PM
~

LoyceV himself did the same thing and said I will never request from my alt and if I ever request will be from my main loyce and I will sign a message if you don't like the concept go tag him. I did what he did and I supported his tagging idea with this account to support the forum which was after my conversation end with shasan,  direwolf and more. No one can try to blame me for anything as I'm aware of what I do.

No, I have nothing against the concept, but it is evident that you have not understood the concept. Also, as far as I know, LoyceV did not do the same thing you did. Please direct me to the post where LoyceV stated that he would never ask for a loan with his main account but could ask with his alt?

Why do you object to my neutral tag on your accounts when it basically echoes your own words? Is there anything factually incorrect in it? (Consider this a reply to your PM; no need to repeat the same thing privately.)

By the way, I find the negative feedback you left on my profile to be factually incorrect (as I am fully capable of reading full sentences and I can prove it), lacking valid references, and an abuse of the trust system. I recommend reading LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system.

CryptoHFs    2023-07-22    Reference    Unfortunately, most likely doesn't know how to read full sentences.
811  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone Loan using My Account on: July 22, 2023, 08:10:44 PM
Hey shasan I spoke to you 3rd of July and my comment is 8th of July not only that when people mentioned what you said I stated that if I need a loan I will request it through my alt. So in both cases there's no point at all I am seeing in your question.

I literally just requested today a loan from CC to be received on my alt Tongue if you have a valid point let me know.

Also timelord didn't solve a mystery it's me who writing everywhere both of the accounts are mine  Cool

Edit: lol, even me telling you both are mine in the DMs

The point is that it does not make much sense to claim with one of your accounts that you will not ask for a loan on this forum while, at the same time, asking for a loan with your alt account. Did you inform LoyceV of that fact when you asked him for a neutral tag?
812  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Online mining on: July 22, 2023, 07:32:37 PM
From the way the question was asked, it can be understood that the op bought a site (it is difficult for him to have developed it himself) for a service that he did not know anything about on the promise that he could make profits from it. You can imagine how someone launched a trading and mining platform project (I don't know how to merge the two explicitly) and then came to ask in a public forum about licenses.

That is certainly one of the possibilities. We cannot know for sure unless the OP gives us more info.
Purely out of curiosity, I looked for mining and trading website templates on Codecanyon, and you are right, there are tons of ready-made website templates on that topic. It is possible that the OP bought one of those websites and does not know what to do with it. But in that case, it would be better for him to seek the support of the developer for some concrete information and support.

My position is critical because he did not even share the link to the website and did not provide details on how it was created and launched, which made me suggest that he bought it as a ready-made product without having the slightest knowledge of the details.

I agree. Nothing good can come out of this. The OP clearly lacks the necessary expertise to build something like that.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Is there any website for Message signin and verifying? on: July 22, 2023, 03:12:20 PM
Exactly I do see that message signs is in unique cases not every minute. However, I can't think of a reason as well
And when the unique cases happened when you are not in home then what you will do ? That is why I'm asking buddy. Everyone has different reasons, right buddy?

In that case, for such unique situations, go for a wallet app that has the features you need, like the Bluewallet mentioned earlier. As you have already been informed, signing messages requires your private key. Using an online service for that purpose would pose a significant security risk.
814  Economy / Reputation / Re: deadsea33 questionable merit history on: July 22, 2023, 01:58:16 PM
As of right now we cannot be sure if the relationship between the two accounts is one of merit abuse between one account farmer or merit selling between accounts operated by different account farmers.

Of the most compelling cases of the suspected nefarious activity with the deadsea33 account at the centre it is the _Hiloveua_ account. That account simply stands out the most because not only has the _Hiloveua_ account already received merits on 24 different occasions to the total of 50 merits, deadsea33 posted that he owes 28 merits to the _Hiloveua_ account which will be given on 29th July 2023. The post is here.

Another interesting point is that "_Hiloveua_" never once offered a wrong answer in the "Complete the Word Game" , despite the fact that his answers were often given just a few minutes after starting a new round. Even if he found some effective way to recognize words (I do not know if there are online dictionaries that can assist with these types of games), statistically speaking, he should have offered at least one incorrect word matching the given pattern. Unless, of course, he knew all the correct answers in advance, and the entire game was merely a farce for merit abuse.
815  Economy / Reputation / Re: DireWolfM14 abusing the trustsystem. on: July 21, 2023, 10:19:40 PM
It's sad that people handle out feedback like that ~

What is truly sad is that both of you little bitches are complaining about the neutral feedback on your profiles, while at the same time, you are leaving retaliatory feedback and thus abusing the trust system yourselves.

817  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Order Flow to copy professional traders on: July 21, 2023, 09:09:40 PM
OP, I see you are still only a Jr. Member, but that is no reason not to make an effort to familiarize yourself with the rules and guidelines of the bitcointalk.org forum. This topic does not belong in the Bitcoin Discussion and I suggest you move it to the correct board so that the moderators don't have to do it for you. I trust that it was simply an oversight on your part, but try not to make it a habit.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Return Hardware Wallet That Contains 3+ BTC in a Hotel Room? on: July 20, 2023, 10:20:35 PM
How would you know that there are 3BTC on the hardware wallet? Zaguru12 made a good point, those HW wallets are always locked with extra passwords and other security mechanisms. So even if you were tempted, you would not be able to access the funds. The only thing worth keeping would be the hardware wallet itself. The right thing to do would be to give it back to the owner, and who knows, they might even give you a little something as a reward!
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top Bitcoin Wallets ? on: July 20, 2023, 10:00:20 PM
Can u explain why you would use Sparrow on MacOS instead of Bluewallet ?

You should check their official websites and compare the features and overall user experience of both wallets. To put it simply, Sparrow wallet seems to have a broader range of features when compared to Blue Wallet. However, at the end of the day, it boils down to personal preferences; some folks prioritize feature-rich options, while others prefer a simpler, more user-friendly experience.
820  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Missing addresses from imported master public key on: July 20, 2023, 09:48:19 PM
When those first 20 addresses are used, Electrum generates the next batch of 20 addresses, and so on.
This is not true. It's not that electrum generates new addresses after all first 20 addresses are used.
Electrum generates the 21st address once  you use the first address, the 22nd address, once you use the second address and so on.

Yes, you are correct. My bad, I didn't actually count them. I just went with what I remembered, and I was pretty sure that electrum shows (generates) addresses in batches of 20. Well, either I stumbled upon an ancient version of Electrum, or I just had a classic case of "memory corrupt" here.
