801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I understand meme coin good or bad position? on: July 18, 2023, 12:16:21 AM
It's not advisable to invest in meme coins because of the high risk. Did you even take time to conduct a research?

Meme has no real use case and just relying on hype and speculation of investors eyeing to spot the one that likely to skyrocket. So if you're really interested, just use the amount that you can afford to lose since the result is uncertain. Moreover many investors already lose a significant amount for joining the ride of meme coins. Thus, diversify your portfolio to buy an established coins with real use case.

802  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: July 17, 2023, 08:57:45 AM
Anyways if you had held the RLB for another year, you might have got them sold at a good price. Bitcoin bull run and Altcoins season will make every coin pump again.
Well, it's not bullrun yet but the price of RLB is pumping. Currently the value is $0.1, it's increasing so fast months after Rollbit implement the buy and sell feature on their site. It seems like many investors are buying RLB that's why the price is climbing up.

Investors who got or bought their RLB at a lower price are certainly in profit now. But always be careful not to be greedy so you can think of what's beneficial for you to gain more.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: July 17, 2023, 04:12:36 AM
There are really religious families that don't allow their kids to gamble not just totally because of the religious belief but because as parents, they know what's best for their kids since they're aware of its risks.
They might have disowning their children as a threat but I guess it's just their way of warning their children to stay away from gambling. However, I don't think they would still that to their adult children especially f they could see that they're gambling respnsibly. Parents only want to protect their family because they know how gambling abuse could ruin lives
If you're not earning your own money yet and still relying on your parents for finances, you should not gamble. Because that money is probably meant for your studies or other needs and not to be spend in gambling. It's quite normal for parents to be strict since gambling can really influence us negatively if we can't control ourselves. Especially if you're still a student, it can affect your studies once you became hooked to this activity.

So don't wait to be threaten by your loved ones. Be open and listen because they're just concern.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: July 17, 2023, 02:33:49 AM
You can't rely on a game of chance as your main or major source of income. This is the worst decision you would make. I would understand it if you were talking about games where skills may give you some advantage, like poker and other card games. However, even if you have the required skills and master the game, you should never make it your main source of income because the results will not please you.

Even if the gambler has the related skills, I doubt anyone can win the same game with consistent winnings. I haven't seen such a gambler, there isn't a concrete proven track record. Card games and poker are based on skills&luck but no one is going to win all games by being lucky consistently, IMO. Mastering the game is the myth and gamblers not going to beat house edge, IMO.
It's not possible to always win since losing is inevitable. No matter how good you are in the particular game (even skills and strategy have something to do in order to win). But as we know, there's a situation where you can become rich instantly and that is if you hit a jackpot that can change your life for good. It happened already to those lucky gamblers who made fortune through gambling. Though, this is a different thing.

Anyway, it's not easy to win so what more if your desire is to treat gambling as your source of income? What can happen is, instead of gaining from your gambling activity, you'll only lose your money because of it. So try to find a decent job or use your passion to build a business. That's more realistic to be your main source of income.

805  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Make or Break on: July 17, 2023, 12:49:10 AM

806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Appropriate percentage of income for gambling on: July 16, 2023, 09:54:29 AM
What percentage of weekly income do you think is right for gambling?
In my case, 5% would be a reasonable amount since that's what I can afford to lose. But i'm not playing weekly because I usually allocate money for leisure from my real job and that's every two weeks. After budgeting the essential things, I set aside the money for my "me" time and that includes the budget for gambling.

There might be gamblers who can spend more but I don't see any problem with that. As long as it's the money that you can live without (and you already attend to what needs to prioritize first) then you can do anything that can satisfy yourself.
807  Economy / Gambling / Re: Loophole in stopping Money Laundering through Wagering on: July 16, 2023, 08:08:16 AM
But most users are not very honest so that the casino freezes more users' money trying to launder money through the casino, many cases that I often encounter on this forum also the casino will ask for an explanation of where the funds are used also ask the user to verify to validate that the user clean.

This also prevents the casino from being involved in money laundering cases and is considered to support criminal acts being subject to legal sanctions, but not many casinos want to return user money and only freeze the winnings, it is rarely found, if the user does not meet the requirements requested by the casino then the account will be suspended also the money will be confiscated by the casino.

How will casino know that the black money is being deposited on any casino ? No casino checks where the money is coming from. They only care how much they get the deposits from their gamblers. Similarly if the specific gambler ( who is also a money launderer), wins and wagers the minimum requirement and cash out on the different side, the casino never care as to which address the money is being transferred.

So i guess that casino have least interest in catching the money launderers. All they care about is how they can get more people to gamble and increase their bankroll.
Well, I think it depends on the amount. Because if we're talking a huge figure here ($100k up) and let's say you deposited, able to fulfill the wagering requirement and then tried to withdraw. Certainly you'll be ask to comply the KYC procedure to verify your identity. There's a case wherein the casino asked the user (after not processing the withdrawal) to give additional documents of proof of funds to know where the money came from, part of their AML procedure. Though this is a rare case, still it depends on the situation and the money involved.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: July 16, 2023, 05:18:28 AM
I myself know gambling sites from my own friends. I idly and try to deposit. Starting from playing with a little money, after a while I didn't know how much money I had spent playing gambling
I started to play gambling at an early age, it's a card game with my cousins. But we only stake a small amount, so it's more on a friendly game. But when it comes to online casinos, I started playing few years ago after seeing a gamblers on social media flexing their winnings (in their chosen gambling games) and that attracts me to try as well, actually I already shared this before.

My first experience is great and enjoyable. My first game is Dice (the reason why it's special to me). But I thought it's easy to win in gambling so I have expectation that I can also earn while enjoying the game and that's my bad. Gambling is entertaining but one should only play in moderation to avoid having a negative effect caused by excessive playing.

809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You must do this if you want to QUIT or NOT on: July 16, 2023, 03:20:00 AM
There's nothing wrong if you want to gamble. However you should know the risk and the consequences of using your money in gambling. The problem is, many of us are not prepared for the outcome and tend to regret that we gamble our money resulting to losses. Then it's the start of the thoughts of trying to chase what we lost, becoming uncontrolled and spending most of the time playing that led to addiction.

This can be prevented if from the start we're aware of what to expect and our main desire is to have fun and not to double our money. Because if you let yourself uncontrolled, it's already hard to overcome such situation. So you need to follow what the experts says to stop the addiction.
810  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: July 16, 2023, 01:33:32 AM
Though there's no perfect site, but most of them are trying their best to stay on top, I have no doubt about Roobet and choosing this site should be one of your priority.
There are problems with each casino but they resolve it as soon as possible that's the sign of legit casino although there are fake allegations against all of them by players who have lost on their own so we don't consider them at all but it takes time to have real image and build trust over community.

It is hard to build to good a good reputation and takes time but you can very quickly loose it. Every casino will have allegations against it and every case needs to be checked. While most of them will not be legit, some will be valid and need to be handled in a good way and Roobet is doing a good job in that.
Agree. It's hard to establish a good reputation because often it takes time and the casino needs to prove to the gamblers that they are trustworthy. But it's easy to ruin their build reputation if there's a valid accusation that the casino failed to resolved. Well, false accusations are not included since majority of them don't have concrete evidence.

Anyway, Roobet is one of the reputable casino existing nowadays and gamblers who are playing on this site already knows it. So it's true that you'll never know how good the site is, if you didn't try it yourself.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it Advisable joining Bitcoin signal group? on: July 14, 2023, 05:12:06 AM
I remember being new in this forum  as I have joined multiple signal group , at least I have 3 in facebook and plenty in telegram but after a year? I deleted them all and ending following anyone .
because Never that they bring accurate signal instead mostly are just shitcoin promotion and link giving groups.

Same here. I joined many signal groups on TG thinking it can help to spot the right project, as well as sell at the perfect time. But majority of projects that they're shilling are shitcoins and it's for their own interest. Hence if you didn't know about this, you might fall in their trap.

Anyway, as others have said, if the signal group is free then why not? But don't forget to always DYOR. It's still much better if you have your own understanding on the particular project and not relying on any signal groups.
812  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why Crypto may go wrong for some people on: July 14, 2023, 03:14:25 AM
A friend of mine recently complain to me about how he loses thousands of dollars to crypto after invest in a token. He now said he is quiting crypto and now comparing crypto investing to that of gambling.
Your friend chose to invest in a token instead of the well-established coins. So it's not surprising if he lost his money due to his wrong decision. This is the problem of investors who thought investing in shitcoin can give them huge and quick profit. If only he conduct his own research before investing, then this can be prevented to happen.

Crypto isn't for lazy people. It involves research and continuous learning. It may look bored if money isn't made in the first few months but will definitely make you smile after months of endurance.
Exactly. We all want to earn as early as possible but sometimes it really takes time before we can see the result of our investment. That's why it's important to understand everything before deciding to invest your hard-earned money.
813  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin trading and gambling on: July 14, 2023, 01:17:39 AM
So having made all this comparisons, do you think that bitcoin can be classified as gambling?
Investing or trading Bitcoin is also risky similar to gambling, but the level is quite different. In gambling, usually you're placing bet without any assurance to win and just relying on luck. You can use any strategies but it doesn't guarantee to work effectively, because if this is the case, then probably many gamblers are already rich by now.

On the other side, trading/investing requires knowledge. If you understand what you're doing and aware of what you should do and what strategy to use, then you can increase your chance to gain. Investing/trading is not entirely relying on luck since there's a way to profit depending on your knowledge and strategy. So compared to gambling (wherein you can't beat the house), investing in Bitcoin is more profitable.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: July 13, 2023, 05:49:40 AM
It’s good that you are cautious and advising others to be cautious as well. It’s important to understand the reason behind prices moving up and analyze the benefits and demerits of the project before investing.
Well, if it rises due to some hypes and manipulations, you'll gonna be staying away from that project because the next thing that will happen is an abrupt dump. But if it rises because it really has the potential and has a use case, that something will tell us that the future of this project is bright. However, when talking about new projects, we really have to take extra caution because the majority are scams. Many projects have only had a good start but in the later part, it dump slowly until it was gone totally.
most that have the purpose of investing in altcoin solely for speculation will disregard this advice, because the thing that they are seeking is the thing that you mentioned to be the disadvantage.
quite funnily enough thats the very reason many are just having massive loss.
Many investors are not cautious in choosing the altcoins to invest in. Because what they look for is an altcoin that can give give them insane return (like x1000) in a short period of time. The reason why they prefer to join the ride of the hype coins to not missed the opportunity. But this is the mistake of the investors who only look for what's the current hype and not on its use case. Sometimes you'll only understand and believe the suggestions of others if you already experience to lose your capital due to wrong decision.
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Always ask for POD form from your bank on: July 13, 2023, 02:27:28 AM
Thanks for sharing this op. I searched about it on the banks where I have an accounts but I can't find any information regarding POD or similar, maybe they have other term? I think I have to personally inquire about this.

In my country, as an heir, I have to prepare requirements such as:
1. ID cards of heirs and ID cards of account holders
2. Certificate of deposit (for deposits), savings book (savings owner)
3. Death certificate
4. Certificate of heirs.
I remember when my father died, my mom also presented the necessary requirements to withdraw the funds that will be used for his funeral. It took her a while before we finally got the money because of the additional documents needed that the bank demand, they're strict in this matter.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Motivating gambling addicts to invest in bitcoins. on: July 13, 2023, 01:12:00 AM
Nowadays many people in our country are addicted to gambling. I have seen many people losing their huge amount in most of the gambling games. If all those people can be informed about bitcoin, how to earn money in bitcoin? I think they would have invested in Bitcoin and they could have made money from it.Besides, if they can discuss about Bitcointalk in detail, then I think they will learn about Bitcointalk besides investing in Bitcoin. In this, the person addicted to gambling could stay away from gambling besides earning money.

One thing to remember, I'm not criticizing gambling. I'm just sharing my opinion. thank you
Gambling addicts are gamblers and not an investors so certainly it's going to be hard to convince them to invest in Bitcoin. Moreover, if they're an online gamblers it's likely they are already aware about Bitcoin existence (or crypto in general) as it is also an options for many online casinos to deposit/withdraw your money. They're into gambling because of quick profit and it's not easy to change what they used to.

In addition, it's true that this forum can help these gamblers to understand Bitcoin more since there are plenty of useful informations available. But remember that casinos are also advertise here to spread awareness so it can tempt them. Thus, before they can switch being an investors, an addicted gambler should overcome his addiction first so they can fully focus.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers understood the game on: July 12, 2023, 08:19:42 AM
A true gambler understand the risk involved in gambling be it crypto casino gambling site, in as much as they knew is gambling they knows the risk involved meaning you won't go extra mile telling them things associated unlike newbie investor whom you have to give all Manner of guidelines for them to understand things associated with the investment.
Gamblers adhere to rules and are directed by principles for the purpose to minimize their loss percentage and ensure that their profits outweigh their losses. Gamblers make important choices on a regular basis, and gains and losses have become a routine function for them in the system; in fact, they are becoming accustomed to it as the day passes. Gamblers explicitly looking to the guidance of those who have already accumulated enough expertise in the gaming system, they know the risks and calculated gains associated in practically all of their games.

Gambling is one area that even novice understand what is in it. One, that it involves the use of money and two, that you can lose your money once you stake and in fact the chances of recovering your money is very limited. So with this while gambling, the idea of losing is already taking care of that is why those who lose easily wake away from it faster than most business people who lose. The understanding about the loses involved in gambling is clear to small or big player.
It's crucial to understand gambling well before risking our money. This is to not blame anyone who introduced gambling to us, since it's our decision to risk our money even we're already aware of the possible outcome.

The gamblers who can accept the result and still able to move on like nothing happened (after losses) are likely those who can control themselves by not dwelling on the past. That's how it should be, you gamble so accept the result because no one coerce you to risk your money in gambling, it's your choice.

If i'm not mistaken the price when the buy/sell feature is implemented on the platform the price is $0.03 something. So seeing the current price now, I can say it's worth to keep holding and it's not late for investors who wants to engage themselves.

The current price is $0.063 and it hit $0.067 earlier today which is above the ATH price so thats something to start with. Im not sure how high this could go but I personally think its too early to hit the $0.1 mark for sure with the current circulating supply that would put RLB at top 25 coins in cmc which is kinda weird considering its supply but we'll see for sure
We can't accurately predict the future of RLB and how high the price will go. But as I have said, if you didn't spend money to buy RLB and just got it through airdropped then it's worth to keep holding and see if it can reach your expected price before finally selling. Though of course it depends for each of us since we have different strategy.

I already buy additional coins before the price climb up so I didn't missed the opportunity to add some.
819  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Online Casino promoter hahabulin na ng CICC on: July 12, 2023, 01:21:23 AM
Influencers are used just to promote other businesses, but honestly i think those influencers ay minimal lang ang alam sa product or business na pinopromote nila, kumbaga for money sake lang yan. Not saying all of them but most of them. Be smart at choosing to whom you give your support khit idol mo sya, stil DYOR.

820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What attracted you to gambling?Share your experience whether good/bad. on: July 11, 2023, 08:09:38 AM
The possibility to earn huge in snap is what attracted me to play gambling. In the early days before I became a gambler, I saw some people flexing their winnings on social media that made them become rich instantly. That's how I became curious to try it as well, (dice is the first game I tried online).

The thought of winning and how easy it can be were replaced by disappointment and losses because that's not what I expected it to be. I became out of control and had to go somewhere away from internet to quit playing. It's a lesson learned for me and an eye opener to not gamble if your main desire is to win. Because it can lead to problem if you have no discipline. Anyway, I still gamble but not often, usually if I have a budget for it.
