821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warren Buffet statement again on: March 06, 2019, 01:17:22 PM
Quote
I don't like this person, he always has a bad statement to make the crypto market fall.
then why are you quoting him here and starting a TOPIC about him?!!

That's the reason why the market is falling, after quoting these statements we are spreading FUD in the market.
Let them do whatever they want, it's their own point of view, but by sharing these statements across internet you are spreading FUD among the new users.

Well you can't really control statements from such a prominent figure. A lot of people look up to warren buffet since he is a guy who knows how to handle business and his status will show for that. Aside from his critisizms on bitcoin, he's a guy you'd want to take advice from when it comes to money.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Documentary about Bitcoin on: March 06, 2019, 01:14:36 PM
wow is it available on netflix? i think i will watch it, from the ttile and the image cover i think it is a good documentary and i think that it can makes people know about bitcoin, when it already posted on netflix.
Well of course. Especially since netflix is a pretty big name for entertainment and a lot of people are subscribed to it. Those that can't find interest researching about crypto on their own can simply watch a documentary that's easier and more entertaining. It'll put btc awareness closer to people which will be very good for adoption.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways to relieve stress from "crypto" scammers when all you value is bitcoin? on: March 06, 2019, 01:08:26 PM
Whenever people realize bitcoin is here to stay it seems many start searching for some mythical next bitcoin.
For anybody in search of the next Bitcoin is a total waste of time.

You just say that and provide no arguments. How do you know? Someone who bought Eth very early could be rich now and would have not 'totally wasted their time'.

that is how they get you, by pumping their shitcoin the most and showing big profits that makes you think their coin is good just because it has given a huge profit. but when you actually study the project itself regardless of its price you can see how actually "shitty" it is.
besides if profit is the only thing that matters to you then there has been lots of other shitcoins that have given much bigger profit that ETH! i know of a dead shitcoin that got pumped nearly 1 million percent and with your logic that shitcoin should also be considered a good coin.

Well if you're fortunate enough to be in and out at the right time, any coin would turn out to be profitable. And i doubt that many of us here are really looking beyond a coin's real potential. It's all about making money which, as you said, can be taken advantage of by devs through pumping and dumping. I'd prefer to be open but wary about any coins.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: i'm lost my bitcoins on: March 05, 2019, 04:39:02 PM
hello everyone!
few days ago my friend told me to create account on cryptoesto.com because it is better than other exchanges. I was created new  on cryptoesto.com and also i am hold 10 btc in my walllet. Now the cryptoesto site is not available on google Cry
can anyone give me personal opinion what i do now Huh

Dude. Sadly, the best advice anyone could give you is to charge it to experience and learn from it. I don't think it was a good idea to put that much asset in a new and untested exchange. Hell i wouldn't even keep that amount in an established on. I doubt you can get that back so learn from it.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favoritism vs Addiction on: March 04, 2019, 04:45:46 PM
Am not really a full time gambler but I'm a player, and if gamblers are addicted they'll have some favorite games to play, then what about the player who has also their favorite games can we really tell that they're also addicted to that certain game?

Huh

I was little curious about this earlier, for I have seen some replies / feedbacks on my previous post that seems questionable to me. Only positive thought can be given, any negativities will get deleted
I think the beginning stage of favouritism is the main lead to the addiction at the end so both are the same 11 attraction but if you had used the gambling sweet limitation it will continue to be a favourable field of you at all the time.
Nah. If ever theres a connection between these two, it's not that prominent. A favorite gambling game or any other game at that matter, can be controlled. It's your top pick among other games but not necessarily to the point that you're going to lose yourself over it. That's far from what addiction is.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: March 04, 2019, 04:41:35 PM
The 6 rings doesn't matter to me because Jordan always had stacked teams and Pippen is better than any player Lebron has ever played with.

Oh my god !
Jordan's Bulls won their 6 titles without a point guard and a center !
Jordan's teammates were Bill Cartwright, Will Perdue, Bill Wennington, Jud Buechler, Scott Williams, Craig Hodges, Steve Kerr, Ron Harper, Pete Myers, Luc Longley, John Paxson, B.J. Armstrong... do you have any idea how bad these guys were ? The whole paying system of the Bulls was made so that they would never touch the ball in offense. None of those guys would be a starter for a franchise today, they would be at the end of the bench (except maybe for Armstrong and Harper) ! They were there because they were good teammates but that's it. Hadn't they played for the Bulls, no one would remember them today. Actually I'm sure many of you never heard of them.
Sure he had Pippen, Rodman (and before that Horace Grant) and even Kukoc but none of them was a superstar of their own, they proved it while he was gone.
He won 6 titles with 2 good players alongside him (3 if you count Kukoc later on) and lots of very average players to say the least.

Right. Hardcore lbj fans always put up in arguments that he has pippen and rodman lol. Jerry krause stated that he didn't hear anything from jordan about who he needed to help him. And that he believed he was so good he could win with anyone on his team. And jordan was THAT good. Too many apologetics for lbj and that will only tarnish his legacy.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: March 04, 2019, 04:37:20 PM
To be fair with Mayweather, I don't think he is into performance-enhancing drugs. He has no confirmed record of such accusation. ~snip~
There is a procedure to determine if he is using but I think it's not necessary.
Mayweather is winning games not because he is knocking his opponent but because he is scoring and running in the entire game, that's his technique
and he is fast and quick, hard to beat and I guess only Manny has the capability to do it and I believe in the 2nd match we can possibly see that.

In my opinion, he hasn't used any PED's though, you have seen that his body is just average and not that bulky. Funny thing is that last night I just watch their first match and indeed Manny can hit Mayweather even though Floyd has a good defense.

That's why I really wanted to see the rematch and see if Manny can touch Mayweather again because it seems that Manny has regained his second wind even at age 40.

Lol. Floyd's technique is so effective that he's now being accused of using peds. If you watch basically all his fights, the is a superior technical fighter. He uses his wits more than his opponents and has a very efficient, technical style that will bore you. Not very fun to watch for a regular boxing fan but you have to appreciate the efficiency. I don't the result would be any different if in case this fight pushes through.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: March 04, 2019, 04:33:55 PM
The release date is finally confirmed in the latest teaser! The final season will start on April 14. That is only 3 months from now.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wA38GCX4Tb0

I feel sad this will end this year. Sad

I wonder how many others got the chill when they saw the ice coming, I definitely felt it and if this is the teaser I can’t wait for the show to begin. I also believe the feather which was first seen in season one, and season five has significant relevance to Jon’s parentage, and normally when we saw thes faces on these statues, those people die so does it mean three of my favourite characters already dead. I would not feel sad cause I’m feeling super excited for this premier, and once this ends I can’t wait for the spinoff and I’m sure you’ll be the one creating an odds thread for that too.

Jon Snow will not die, again hehehe. He is the favorite to rule after the series ends. Similar to the Miss Universe type of betting, the oddsmakers are savvy enough to have an almost correct prediction of the outcome.

@swogerino. Are you religious? hehehe

Well i wouldn't be too sure about that though. If there's one show where they can easily kill a favorite character right off the bat in the first season, it's game of thrones. There's been a lot of speculation around who'll end up being on the iron throne and it may be someone who we're all not expecting. Everybody's expecting jon snow so it probably wouldn't be him.
829  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin factors drop in 2019 and now. on: February 28, 2019, 04:31:13 PM
The drop in price of bitcoin was very much expected because of the massive increase we saw in 2017, it is not dropping because people are losing interest in crypto but it is dropping because many persons who made profit at that time are taking out their profit.

I also believe that the dip is over and we should begin see a great increase in price within the next few months. Maybe the second quarters of the year.

Nah those that got stuck above 12k probably lost interest all over. More than people who exited to make profit, 2018 probably saw more people who exited to safe themselves from drastic losses. Though it's likely settled now and is ready to recover but i doubt about a great increase. We probably won't see that kind of growth anytime soon.
830  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up to 4100$ on: February 28, 2019, 04:19:37 PM
Yes, Bitcoin up to 4100$ and hope we get good news soon and crypto market again green.Bitcoin the biggest cryptocurrency accounting for around 52 percent of the crypto market, has again briefly broken $4,000 point for the fourth time this month, according to CoinMarketCap .Bitcoin price up to 5.17% and eth up to 11.43 % so after the end this month hope bitcoin price will be 5000$ i think.
It is very encouraging that bitcoin has been able to penetrate $ 4K, a sign for better leads can occur in the future. but your prediction that the end of the bitcoin month will be $ 5K, I think it must be temporarily suppressed, because to reach there I expect it will occur in Q2 this year. but everything can be different from my prediction, the important thing is that bitcoin has a sign to increase.
Well, as the market is, Lls $ 5K can not be a difficult number to reach, since we are in a phase of accumulation, we can achieve the impulse of $ 5K and, of course, suffer very large corrections, due to the fact that Strong Hands always wants to take the profits due to the risk and effort of taking it to those levels and, at the same time, understand how the offer is for those levels.

Well i guess that happens. Big players tend to short their trades that's why we'll have a problem getting even to 5k soon. It evident with the drop back to 3.7k just in a few hours when btc has happily trading at 4.2k. This movement would likely keep us just around the 3.5 to 4k levels.
831  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price increase on: February 28, 2019, 04:14:10 PM
This week Bitcoin has begun to show a good increase and I think many people are happy and happy with the current increase,
will the price be as soon as possible to recover at $ 20,000?
Bitcoin is going to recover no doubt but to get to $20,000 is what I think may not be possible! The bull run that we witnessed in 2017, came because of the adopting and acceptability that happened that time but now things has changed and people's adoptions has reduced.

Yeah, those that bought in close to 20k would probably have to forget their coins for a long time before they can at least recover their capital and longer to get profits. It may take the whole year before we can even get to 7 or 8k. I think people should forget about a 20k btc anytime soon because there's no reason for that to happen.
832  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ways to Raise Prices bitcoin on: February 28, 2019, 04:11:17 PM
Possibly with government regulation, the value of bitcoin will be able to rise, for this case, it requires a better time and approach so that crypto can develop well in every country. We will wait for positive things to happen so that market manipulation does not occur.

That's one of the major things that i'm lookingat as well for us to get to the moon like many here are hoping for. Without government support, i don't there there'll be that much confidence from big time investors to enter the market. We'll be in a cycle of seasonal bear and bull market where the former would be more prominent than the latter.
833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Samsung Galaxy S10 Crypto Offering A bullish sign? on: February 28, 2019, 03:59:51 PM
If we are talking about a immediate pump on the price then I would say no, but if we consider that many crypto will slowly used this feature in their smart phone or even wanted to test it out, then will need to buy bitcoin.

And then there are those non-crypto we might turn out to be investors or holders as well, so in the long term if might have swayed a few but I don't think it is the needed catalyst for a bull run though.

The keyword here is 'not immediate', so we really don't know what the effect in the market right now. But since they're going to release in the bearish market, we might see some little push though but not going to be the triggering factor for a bull-run.

Samsung has like 30% of the smart phones market globally though, but I don't think that people will just buy this phone because of its embedded crypto wallets, so it's a long way to go before we can really assess if this move from Samsung will do more good in crypto sphere.

Most buyers of that expensive would probably not mind the feature anyways. And though it's good to see these kinds of features for crypto being integrated by large companies like samsung, you're right that it'll likely have at best  little push. I doubt it can start what everyone's hoping for.
834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is right or wrong that bitcoin price will up to $160k in 2023? on: February 28, 2019, 03:54:17 PM
Predictions are going beyond the limit these days, I can't even imagine the value which is mentioned here in so quick time $160k? Wow... that's so huge. people say anything can happen in crypto currency but how come such speculation? I don't think it will reach that when compared to the current market situation.

Lol and that's even conservative dude. One old man confidently wagered earing his own dick if btc don't hit 1m by 2020 lol. Everyone has his own speculative value so it's ok. The problem is if you believe and expect one of those speculations to be true and take it seriously.
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin to accumulate now to be financially set after the next boom? on: February 28, 2019, 01:54:05 PM
Good question dude, if the value of Bitcoin increase to maybe $60k and above, I will like to have 156 unit of Bitcoin which the total worth will be $9,360,000 and if the unit market value of Bitcoin increase more than $60k then higher my Worth. Though what I have at the moment is still less than one Bitcoin but anything can happen in gambling.
This is completely on users self estimate, because different people have different financial elements to be fulfilled to get termed rich. In this way some might be satisfied with $100000 in btc, some needs more. For me, $300000 in bitcoin and any other coin with good trading volume is a must.
Taking into account the phase we are in, in a few years we will say that bitcoin was being given away at $ 4k, but my thinking is completely focused on speculation, so I would leave the money in USD and when Bitcoin enters the uptrend, I will take all the capital that I have in USD and change it to Bitcoin. This is how I would accumulate.

Well that could work. If you have a lot of money to put in as an investment then any amount would do. I personally would be content in having just 5 bitcoins when the market booms. Though the market booming could have different end points. I doubt that we'll get to 20k in the next boom.
836  Economy / Speculation / Re: RIP Bull Market on: February 28, 2019, 01:49:37 PM
Looks like it all ended in one trade.

Well, there was no bull market really, more of a  bull trap, hopefully it will start by the end of this year even though that is highly unlikely looking at the current state.

Not even a bull trap except to those people screaming bull run after only a few hundred dollars up. We may very well hit 4k again in a few days and same thing may happen. Nothing's special with this movement guys.
837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other cryptocurencies are not necessary says Chinese people on: February 28, 2019, 01:33:38 PM
In a report earlier this week, it was gathered that a recent survey conducted in China brought a result of 66% saying there's no need for Bitcoin  and other cryptocurencies. Do you consider this a FUD or it's the actual representation of their thoughts?
If the price of bitcoin keep go up then they will say different. They only interested in profit but if they understand that the concept of bitcoin that is not controlled by any central authority then they will realize that bitcoin is like a gold but in the internet.

I think if you make a survey in a different place, the result won't be that much of a difference. At this point, those who believe in crypto are few compared to those who are skeptic about it. Crypto is still a young market at around 10 years old so i think it's normal that confidence is not yet that high not only in china but most countries.
838  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC just went Down on: February 28, 2019, 01:30:39 PM
It went from $3,795 down to $3,665. All in a matter of seconds. I wonder why and what happen.

All my trades are up and hanging. My whole Binance account is now waiting for the rebound.

You guys doing okay?

I suppose no one will be safe from this drop. Bitcoin is still in a downtrend so dropping of price is quite normal from what i see.

I also believe that the current price of bitcoin is the most stable price, because the ups and downs are still insignificant and will definitely come back again. but when yesterday penetrate to $ 4K, this was the revival era of bitcoin. I estimate that bitcoin Q2 will be able to penetrate $ 5K and will continue to increase until the end of 2019. Signs of the rise of bitcoin seem to be only a matter of time.

I also think this $3k to $4k range is the stable price for bitcoin now we already touch the $4k but suddenly it turn down again even there's no news in the market this reflect that the bigwhales manipulating the price and people think its a bullrun.
We already experienced a pump and dump situation in the last years so no need to be afraid just be relax and buy more bitcoin because I believe this year the price will be recover.

I don't even consider that a pump and dump sequence since the difference of 300 dollars is quite neglectable compared to previous drastic movements. Though yeah, i agree that 3 to 4k is where we've stable for 2019 and i think it'll be like this at least for the first quarter of this year.
839  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak former Apple ceo is asked about his view on bitcoin on: February 28, 2019, 01:26:18 PM
While talking about facebook, AI and future technologies the reporter asks his view on bitcoin and this is what he has to say
It begins at the 4 minute mark if you just want to skip to that part of the interview.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2f55VpFC5o

He was wanting to own some was for experimental purposes and not to make any financial gains from purchasing it. He sold before the price went up so he didnt make anything from his holdings.
But he says he sees it as the worlds single currency one day.

It's funny how people in the technological industry seems to be veering in favor of bitcoin like wozniak and musk, compared to businessmen like warren buffet and jamie dimon. Wozniak probably sees the potential of crypto way beyond it's monetary value.
840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: February 28, 2019, 01:22:57 PM
There will always be FUD since people spend a lot of their time doing anything possible to manipulate the market in their favor.
It would be a cold day in Hell if everyone suddenly became honest and stopped telling lies for their own benefits.

Yeah and people are already aware of the effects of giving in to fud with it being mentioned very often in bitcoin forums and discussions. We have an idea already if people are just fanning flames to start panic and it's usually just newbies that get victimized by these rumors.
