I don't think that we can entirely attributed the fall from South Korean FUD in January. There are other factors as well, specially when the CME and CBOE bitcoin future contracts were about to expire. Clearly we can see some manipulations from behind causing the price to slip even further. Then there's the India FUD, Tether subpoena that added fuel to the fire to the already sensitive market.

But with bitcoin's proven record, there's not a doubt in my mind that we can overcome all this hurdle. Yes, bitcoin has died a thousand times according to people who spread panic around the forum, but it will be just a matter of time before we can see the price picking up and moving on a upward trend again.

And our battlecry? , Just HODL

8363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: when you get a coin from ICO, do you guys like to hold coin or sell coins ? on: February 10, 2018, 07:36:49 PM
hay ... I'm here to know your stories and experiences about when you get coins from various kinds of ICO usually all people do 2 things
there is a sale and there is a coin hold
which are you guys? explain the reason ..

Usually I hold during the first few days and see how the market reacts, but most of the time, I just sell them off. Because on the first phase of the release of the coins, you will see a sudden jump on the price by huge proportion and then just ride it on till the values goes down. If I see that the price is being pump I immediately sold it off. Don't want to wait till its useless.

But there are coins that I also hold long term. If I see that the roadmap is clear, even when everyone is dumping their coins. Sometimes it will just explode when there's a good news coming from the devs and you will be happy that you hold on it and you are paid handsomely at the end.
8364  Economy / Economics / Re: What is The actual senses about bitcoin for common people ? on: February 10, 2018, 06:35:24 PM
As a matter of fact we know online currency is popular in virtual community cause they uses of virtual currency is common for online based work. This digital currency is not so much popular for those people or local people who are not related to online based work. They have no idea how online currency increase economical condition day by day.
But from few years people are more interested about digital currency  and online based activities only because of its several benefits.
Now a days we can hire skilled worker from all over the world and also can provide different work at the same process cause they don’t worried about money and payment system.
So on above this conversation common people are more interested for online currency.

Even before when crypto doesn't exist, there are really a lot of online based project you can find around from simply survey to doing offshore work from different companies around the world.

But during the last few years, digital or virtual currency became to emerge as one of the choices for payment. Because bitcoin was really invented by Satoshi to be a peer-to-peer, meaning there are no third party involved. However, when it really became so popular, we face the issues of high tx cost and slow confirmations that makes people go to traditional payment such as wire transfer. But I'm sure that when Lightning Network is implemented, we may see it more adoptable for micro payments once again.
8365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the reason for this bitcoin bleeding? on: February 10, 2018, 02:26:51 PM
I lost too much money due to this btc dip, What is the reason of this dip? Will it recover soon?

Please everyone here losses money not just in the current dip. The main question is how are you going to face it, you just sold everything and take the losses or just waited it out since bitcoin has a track record to recover?

Right now it looks like the dip is over because we have been seeing gains in the last couple of days. So if you just decided to push the sell button during the crisis, then you make the wrong decision. But if you did hold, then more patience is needed and wait till bitcoin fully recover and reach all-time-high.

For the reasons, its all over the forum, social media and other crypto websites. Government regulation is one, then FUD's by those people from behind who wants to pull the price so that they can bought it at a discount. That's how the market works since day 1, so don't be surprise but be prepared.
8366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China’s Central Bank Was Hacked to Send Fake Email About Bitcoin Crakdown on: February 10, 2018, 01:21:14 PM

i have been seeing OP spamming the links from this website and i have to say the articles posted from it (coinpedia) seems to be poorly researched and mostly clickbaits trying to attract as much traffic as possible to the website.

but guess what, the reputation of your website is now ruined because it is becoming a well known clickbait place and you can't keep the traffic coming back. you will get some surge because of your spam then it will die off.

Thanks for the fair warning buddy, but I won't click those link, sadly, everyone is really riding on the coat tail of crypto, a simply click bait news will send huge traffic on your website specially if the news is somewhat controversial like what that OP is trying to send us.

I agree with Pursuer here, why the heck will PBoC sent out emails to news agency, that's not how they work. They usually gave interviews and make official announcement, but sending emails? It doesn't make sense at all.
8367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Korea back on track on: February 10, 2018, 12:48:37 PM
It's just that some media sources like to rumble words and make it look like something negative comes up, that's why whenever most people read bitcoin regulations they already think that it's the government trying to prevent any growth possible in a certain region/country.

There is no way to circumvent this, is there? Major news outlets will never stop using sensationalist titles for crypto related news, doesn't matter whether right or wrong. And since cryptocurrencies are so prone to be affected by news and social media, I feel like every time some major government wants to implement some new crypto regulation, we are going to experience these price drops every single time.

Yes, you are right. That's why investors should learn how to differentiate and filter out which one is fake and which one is real news because media has the power to spun everything out of control. That's why during the South Korea and India news about regulations was announced, everything went out of control causing the market to crash.

But if you will just have to read between the lines, both nations did not say anything about banning it, however, the media has sensationalized the news and 'deceived' the public such that it looks like India And South Korea has already put the hammer ban which is not the case.
8368  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-02-07] Watch out! Bitcoin Miner Worm Is Turning Your Smart TV Into Mining on: February 08, 2018, 02:36:42 AM
Well this is just like a good excuse for all those bitcoin haters around the world who want to show others how bad is bitcoin, you know, bitcoin now brings viruses etc etc ... believe me, uninformed people is the first thing that will think .

In the other hand, the "good news" is that maybe soon we will have our home appliances working on mining bitcoins xD

Now I'm getting paranoid to open up my Samsung Smart TV because of this news.  Grin

Seriously though, these hackers/malwares/trojans are really evolving and keeping one step ahead on us as far as making money out of us (unsuspecting victims). And I just this will be another entry point to attack cryptos, just like you said. I think I have to take every precautions moving forward.

Well most of these devices run some kind of Android Operating Systems, so it is easy to port these Malware to run on these

devices and Android Operating Systems are the most popular target for these hackers. You can install Antivirus software onto

most Android based TV boxes. {mobile versions} .... Just make sure you stop them on your network too. {other devices linked

to your network}  Angry

I will try to look at this issues and see how can I install anti-virus to this Smart TV otherwise, I will just throw this out of the window for good measures.  Grin
8369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First China Now South Korea on: February 08, 2018, 01:30:34 AM
First of all, South Korea has more acceptance to crypto than China. China wants to ban everything. They want to ban ICO, exchanges and mining. But Korea just wants a regulation.

South Korea wants not only to regulate everything; it wants to take taxes from traders. I suppose soon everybody will start speaking about Russia that is going to regulate Bitcoin. It will also affect the market of crypto.

Russia will not regulate or even accept crypto. They are going to put a ban hammer on it. They already have their own government back up crypto already. So I doubt that Putin will accept anything that he can't control. And besides they keeps on contradicting themselves.

As for the South Koreans, yes they are now working on a framework on how to properly regulate cryptos. One thing I don't like is that they say that they are going that exchanges are require to share information to banks. But let's see, they haven't release any official statement yet, but I'm sure that it will be tight and every local exchanges should comply with everything they set.
8370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: February 07, 2018, 11:10:44 PM
This is a mistake a lot of us make. If you track btc every minute you are more prone to panic selling. Btc has a lot of ups and downs, if you are in it long term the short price has little meaning

True, for a long term holder, it wouldn't make any sense at all to look at the price that often. Actually they don't f*** care. They would rather check after 6 month to a year and see how their investments grows.  Only those traders who do short trading will check the price because they need to buy / sell at the exact moment the price either goes up or down.

Yes I strongly agree with this the topic. Looking at btc frequently can lead you to panic dey to thé fall or loss in value but real btc traders know that this is the best time to buy btc because it will definitely rise and not just rise but skyrocket very soon.

Panic that will lead you to decisions that you will regret later because your decisions will be clouded seeing that the price is going down. Well, we can't stop people checking the price every minute but its up to you, if you want to headaches then be my guest, LOL. But I'm sure that we will be having a hard time to sleep when you see that the price is nose diving.
8371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive news from US CFTC on: February 06, 2018, 09:41:18 PM
This is relly a positive news seems price now started to recover atleast. Hope we can see a continuous growing of bitcoin in the market. A positive note to those bitcoin holders that bring also to new user to believe in bitcoin.

Indeed, with so many negatives sentiments in the air for the past weeks its about time that we heard someone talking sense about ICO's, government banning and regulation. He speaks wisdom, sparkling a positive vibes that sends shockwave and now the market is getting all green as of the moment.

Am I the one thinking that this is a major factor that will kick the whole bullish trend again?

Let’s hope this is reflected uber positively in the price & we see a bull run recommence. It’s been bloody & damn right horrible the last week or so.

Right, I hope that this will bring those uber bullish about bitcoin and crypto to flock the ecosystem once again. Its really frustrating that everyone this bloodbath causes headaches to all of us. Let's see how its going to be. But for me this is really big news and I'm sure that we can push the price again to a new all-time-high.
8372  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Not Over Yet on: February 06, 2018, 09:13:42 PM
Exactly mate, the manipulators have acheived what they were trying to do through the FUD they spread around the community, and the panic sellers were contributing in their mission by feeding them more and more at low price.
I believe that this dump is not going to stay for a long time.
The panic sellers are now shocking with the results of their selling. The price is moving up and they are now stressful in what they did. Holding is the best solution when the price dropped and I think selling in a low price is not profitable. You just sharing your assets to the manipulators of the market.

That's why we always says that weak hands are shaken at every market correction that we have seen so far. And now the wind of change has shifted again. Looks like we are in for a rally as the price is picking up due to the positive news of the US Senate hearing on bitcoin and cryptos. They are really in for a rude awakening.

Dumping their coins specially at during the crisis is not the best thing to do. Now they are going to regret their decisions. But I do hope that those who panics sell has the attitude to get back into the market when it deep further below $6K. Again we are in a rally and hope that everything will be back to normal. NO more FUD and bearish sentiments.

8374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how much more time for correction ? on: February 02, 2018, 11:16:28 PM
Hello

anyone know how much more time bitcoin required in bitcoin correction and when market will be stable again actually i am planning to buy some bitcoins but still confused it will go onward 9K or will decrease some persons told me bitcoin will down to 6K then go up approx 35K or more after 4/5 months ?

what you suggest me ?

and who is correcting bitcoin i see many peoples loss their money in panic Sad

Your questions can't be answered because no one can really predict the price movement. There are some TA that can help you out, but even it can't pinpoint the exact path. We need to wait and observe how the market moves and react to it.

If you see that the price is going down in the next couple of days then you should buy more and stock up your wallet because the chance bitcoin hitting another all time high after this crash is very possible.

Yes, you don' need to sell specially at this moment. No need to panic. Just hold and buy more if you have the funds.
8375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Trading or Online betting? 2k Usd budget. on: February 02, 2018, 10:40:38 PM
Newbee here. Please guide me.

Which is more profitable in the long run, Crypto trading or online betting ?

You really out of your mind? You will eventually lose everything if you are going to go for online betting. So your question is very easy to answer mate.

Although I assume that you are fairly new that's why I will give you the benefit of the doubt.

Crypto trading for me is profitable in the long run. But its not be a easy journey to begin with. You will find threads bitching out that after a year in crypto they are still not earning as they wanted to be. It could be that they are not that adept or enough knowledge about  the subject because its really tricky for beginners. I advise you to take some time to read the tips of the experts here and just try small amounts and see how it goes for you.
8376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JPMorgan and BofA ban cryptocurrency transactions for their credit cards on: February 02, 2018, 10:13:35 PM
I wonder who is doing all these stuffs? i mean the manipulation in the market, the spreading of all the FUDs lately because it causes a lot of panic to all the people and investors, maybe theres someone who can explain why they are doing this? is this jsut for the money or they want to take down the cryptocurrency community, either way they will not prevail thats for sure.

Well bankers really hate bitcoin so it only make sense as to who is to blame about all the FUD that we have been hearing. And this is another attack from them, I'm sure that the market will be affected by such negative news coming from JP Morgan and BoA. So we need to brace ourselves, I mean tie ourselves to something strong. lol.

Of course everything is just for the "money". They know that significant amount of money have been flowing in the crypto world specially last year. They want a piece of it, that they will resorted by attacking it, started by Jamie Dimon last year.
8377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Those who sold at a loss on: February 02, 2018, 09:47:10 PM
Tell me how you feel.

How much did you lose?

Of course with the current situation my poftfolio is down. But I'm still not selling anything so I don't think that I lose something. Its only down by a few percentage but I'm in it for the long haul so I'm not touching anything on my wallet.

You can't blame panic sellers at the moment, with the recent FUD and Attack. It's just funny how well orchestrated those FUD and regulations are being implemented, but yeah sadly those who sold at a loss will be loser but we cannot tell how deep can bitcoin go. I think eth should take over for sometime

Really funny though to read those FUD waves around the forum. And noobs suddenly dump their coins which they bought at top price of $17K-$19K. They should have hold on but sadly they are affected by a lot of FUD here and other social media outlets. They instead should wait and not panic sells, too bad for them.
8378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is this stall in the cryptomarket temporary? on: February 02, 2018, 09:22:14 PM
Its frustrating to see such a steady stall in the crypto market post January. Seems like any price change (increase/decrease) is happening at snail pace. Any hope that this market will pick up soon in the following months?

Yes, of course, its frustrating to see such kind of stall and we cannot do anything to this and there is nothing to worry about this stall because this is how the market used to behave. Market moves like in snake speed when it is trending and otherwise, it used to move like a snail in sideways trend. the current stall is just a temporary pause and i am sure that we are going to see a big trending move soon and most probably it will be uptrend move because the long-term uptrend is still in action and it will not end once there is no strong formation of top forms over there in bitcoin price charts.

I agree. Its really so frustrating at times to see your wallet and slowing draining because the market is currently stalling. We have been spoiled to see the price goes up, specially last December when it nearly went as high as $20K. Good times.

But 2018 is really a pain for all of us. We didn't expect anything like this, so the best thing is to wait for it to bounce back. This behavior though is just normal, everything is either up or down. And I'm happy that most of the members here are still bullish about bitcoin. Only few members spewing lies and FUD. When everything recovers, all those shills will be silent again.
8379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market fell sharply, what is going on? on: February 02, 2018, 08:21:59 PM
As some of you said, this is another iteration of the same scheme we've seen so many times over and over again.
The negative news will circle around and effectively undermine the faith of people in cryptocurrency.
This is nothing new and all we need is patience and time, bitcoin will reach $20k again this year.

Yes, this is a vicious cycle that we are seeing again. Prices go up and down momentarily. That's how this market works. The only thing is that you should not be worry because everything can be recovered. We have seen how crypto started from nothing to almost $1T marketcap. Patience and holding is the key here.

The market is falling sharply, I see signs of not healing, capitalization is withdrawn, should I continue to buy in the top 10 coin or should I pin down USDT and wait for new move?  Sad

the history of cryptocurrencies is full of moments of strong pump and as many dump, so you just have to be patient and calm and wait for the market to grow again.
Perhaps now is the best time to invest obviously everyone must invest only what is willing to lose.

Yes. Golden moments for all of us to really enter the market. All of them are in a bargain. My portfolio is already full. But I'm thinking of adding more if the price still goes down in the next couple of days.
8380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum 2k USD in February? on: February 02, 2018, 07:25:01 PM
Well, this market is really volatile and we can't really know when is a certain price is going to be. Just at the end of year and early part of this year, Ethereum is surging ahead and top $1K for the first time. And it stays on that price range even though bitcoin has been in several market corrections. Ethereum is not affected, though it will go down a bit and bounce back.

But today, it goes below $900 and I don't know if there's support level at this time. But for me, this is just temporary setback and no need to worry because pretty sure that long term is will recover and rebounded.
