841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverment can literally destroy bitcoin whenever they want on: May 10, 2020, 08:33:26 PM
I know that sometimes it looks like the government is trying to suppress this or that or go against a certain group of people or a certain trend, but most politicians care only about their public image. Banning Bitcoin would show them as puppets to bankers or as people who are afraid of outflow of capital from their country. In other words, it would make them look weak. It's better to tax the shit out of Bitcoin than ban it, as it will automatically scare some people away from it and bring some money to the treasury.

That is all true but most of governments do not want to supress Bitcoin, no matter that some think. To my opinion this whole story with Bitcoin and governments is exaggerated. It's not in their best interest to destroy Bitcoin but they don't want to allow cryptocurrencies to enher the financial and economy system so easy and without proper regulation.
Yes, there were some examples in some countries where governments wanted to ban the Bitcoin but that were countries they supress human rights and freedom anyway.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health 🤕symptoms on: May 10, 2020, 06:02:09 PM
I agree, but, as I said, getting aggressive because of losses is a different story. There are so called "problem gamblers", and they can get aggressive without drinking alcohol(I personally know one, he doesn't drink at all). But alcohol can turn an otherwise normal person into a problem gambler. That's why alcohol and drugs should be avoided while gambling.
Alcohol can have a negative effect on even conscious people if they drink alcohol without playing gambling will lose their consciousness and often mess around them because it is out of control, especially if playing gambling certainly greatly affects their mentality and tends to be troublesome in their own gambling games.

If we think positively of course in gambling it will be fine even can control their finances while gambling and will know how much he has to bet in that situation.

Well, every addiction for itself can be dangerous and if person combines it several that can be a disaster.
Selfcontrol is very important, if not the crucial, but not all people have strong personalities and they need help.
Just to think positive of gambling is not enough, you need to be aware where too much of too passionate gambling can lead you.
843  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When to buy - question to Hodlers on: May 10, 2020, 12:24:21 PM
My method of buying is when the price is low so that I can maximize the money that I will put into it, I think that it has been my mantra ever since my friend introduced me to bitcoin.
If you will strictly follow that, I guarantee that you'll be able to grow your money here in crypto, but make sure you don't buy shitcoins, and to be safe, just buy bitcoin and just do that strategy every time you see a great entry price and then sell when the market is bullish again.

with the bitcoin's volatility, you can expect your money will grow in no time.

That is one of the basics of trading, to.buy low and sell high, that is what gives profit. However, it's not always easy to edtimate how low the price will go and when is the best time for buying. The same refers for selling too. So, there is always certain amount of risk and possibility for bad judgment, otherwise trading would be very easy, wouldn't it?
However, I completely agree that the best option is to stick to Bitcoin, experimenting with bunch of anonimous coins is not the best strategy.
844  Economy / Gambling / Re: Power of this forum... on: May 10, 2020, 09:55:11 AM
Similar thing happen to me to in same casino! First I was not eligible for free spins after first deposit, I said I am from btctalk forum, contacted their manager here and I got 189 free spins! I didn't make any money, but I had good time playing slots every day, few times I was close to make something, but got busted hard with some slots! Smiley
I like your headline, this forum is a powerful place. And these situations shows how important is to choose crypto casino, or any crypto service, from this forum! You can talk with their managers, owners, and other forum members will always help with any problem! Smiley

Well, who would say. It's actualy working universaly for that casino. Perhaps they already had some experience when some users made complaints here on forum and that went bad for then.
But since there are so many experiences with that same casino where you have to use the "power" of bitcointalk to get your rights, maybe it would be better to avoid that casino.
845  Economy / Economics / Re: Btc going to 2k or 3k or 7k or 9k on: May 10, 2020, 07:15:23 AM
Given that the world has just begun to close its borders, then the darkest days of the crisis are still ahead of us.
From which we can conclude that bitcoin may well dive even lower to values of 3000-4000.

However, given the volatility, a speculative outcome cannot be ruled out as it has been more than once.
Someone can take advantage of the situation and replay everything in the opposite direction.

Yes, world is heading towards very deep and long term.crisis, probably, but that still doesn't mean it will influence Bitcoin price in negative way. Some price corrections are possible and they are happening right now however I don't think that Bitcoin will go down to 3000$ or 4000$.
To my opinion price will continue to fluctuate somwhere between 7500$ and 9500$. Of course, this is not the long term prediction and also we'll see what halving brings.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto casinos pros and cons on: May 09, 2020, 07:20:19 PM
I would always give advantage to online casinos. You can  play from the privacy of your home when and how you like. I don't have problems with KYC, that doesn't bother me. Since I'm not exactly the fan of crowded places online casinos are always my first choice and due to the current situation with pandemic and the fact that we more and more live online than in real world, to my opinion online casinos have bright future.
847  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important ? on: May 09, 2020, 06:23:46 PM
It's very important that you know how to asses the risk and that you are aware what potential loss you can take. Otherwise you might find yourself in troubled situation and generate too much losses that you can't handle.
Unfortunately, not all traders are aware the risk enough or they simply ignore it thinking they will be lucky enough.
But luck doesn't have anything to do with risk and you can't make profit all the time.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities Will Have Seat in Poker Tournament for Covid-19 Charity on: May 09, 2020, 04:32:27 PM
Donating to charities through tournament in my opinion is kind of fun. You can enjoy participating in the tournament and if you win then you will also be able to help. If there are many people who are willing to help then this pandemic will be contained much faster and can resume tournaments like before. Keep safe all.

Yes, it.might be.fun and it's for the good purposes at the same time. It's nice initiative however I'm always a bit sceptic when it comes to celebrities. I'm never sure if they are doing something like this really for the noble purpose or just for their own promotion? But no matter to that everything is good if the money at ends in.the right hands.
849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that the price of bitcoin can come down to below? on: May 09, 2020, 11:45:41 AM
It's always possible that Bitcoin price goes down. Bitcoin is volatile and price goes both ways.
Currently the price is fluctuating and it looks like it might continue so for a while. In the upcoming period I don't expect to see some bigger price fall but not some bigger price rise either.

Hi Yohann,

every one of them lost, perfect proof this is you with another alt account here on Bitcointalk =)

Posting "fixed" matches later?
A very good example of not to trust newbie users who post any kind of predictions unless having a good history on predicting. I don't know if someone bets on those predictions but some here know who TT_Guru is and accusing as an alt account.

Somethings really fishy here..
If it's a scam or something fishy it's a very bad strategy because people will see he only posts bad predictions and won't follow his tips.

It.looks like something fishy but people are so naive and I'm sure there'll be some who will fall for this. People are greedy for money and anyone who promises good winning has potential victims. People do worse things than just following bad tips and rarely learn on their mistakes.
851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin popped $10 000 on: May 09, 2020, 08:01:17 AM
For the last few days it seemed that Bitcoin is heading towards 10000$ rather fast. However, now it pulled back a bit.
I wouldn't make drama out of it, it's kind of expected and it the upcoming period price will probably continue to fluctuate. 10000$ resistance barier obviously isn't so easy to break. Still, it's possible but it takes time.
852  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: May 08, 2020, 08:17:52 PM
i think someday crypto really can change fiat fully, like rightnow in pandemic the virtual payment on e-wallet really help people to do some trancaction

Now there is a non-cash payment method for goods and services, so nothing new in this can bring to the economy cryptocurrency. Governments of various countries are now on the way to creating a national digital currency, which will replace Fiat.

No, they will not replace fiat. Just because some governments are creating their cryptocurrencies that doesn't mean they have the intention to replace national currencies. Besides cryptocurrency are not in the stage they could support economies and financial systems.
No regulation, no stability, fluctuations, volatility I suppose these are no characteristics that you would want from the currency you depend on.
So, cryptocurrencies and fiat money will function together and with time cryptocurrencies will develope and progress more but they will not replace fiat.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Things you shouldn't do when gambling at casino this time... on: May 08, 2020, 06:27:47 PM
But if you really want to play gambling in casino this time you must consider things in able to be safe. But ofcourse the main thing to consider is social distancing in able to be distant to the infection. You must also bring a disinfectant alcohol so that in every things that you holds, you have a alcohol to disinfect your hands. Always wear mask at all times mostly to crowded places and most importantly enjoy your game.
I don't think there are any physical casinos open at the moment because of the pandemic, so the rules must be obeyed. Some offline casinos have been closed since the beginning of the pandemic for fear of being infected, so the possibility of closing it will be longer.
If you still want to do it, it will be very complicated to do what you said, even though security is maintained, but I think it is too ambitious to go to an online casino that is simpler to stay away from being infected, so that online casino recommendations will be better at offline casino appeals.

Actualy there are going to be some opened from the next week, at least in some countries, because antipandemic measures are not so strict anymore. But they will be opened with recommendation for social distancing and hygene. But I don't think that many people will go to casionos, they still feel unsecure and online casinos are much safer option at the moment. Also, some players might stick to online casinos even after pandemic.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 08, 2020, 01:05:16 PM
Despite all the progress development of vaccine takes time. Testing to determine side effects and real efficiency take even more. Honestly, I don't think this will happen this year.
However, I think that some sport events will take place, no matter if there will be vaccine or not. Some countries have already made new sport events schedule. Of course, that is still very far from normal situations but better something than nothing at all.
855  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: EVOLUTION OF SIGNATURE AD CAMPAIGNS (BEGINNING DAYS TO THE PRESENT) on: May 08, 2020, 11:33:58 AM
Wow, what a list! Quite of a job has been done here.
Times have changed a lot since them and signature campaigns are much different now. They developed with time, become more sophisticated and high demanding, which is actually good. However, they were much higher paid before so you could earn really a nice amount of Bitcoin. They are also part of good tradition so I hope the trend will continue and I'm always happy to participate.

[12:24]   V1588846981120112: i am crycrptocry from bitcoin talk

As soon as you told you from bitcointalk, they changed their tone and terms & condition  Wink
They were probably fearing that if they try to scam you you will put a bad repute on this forum and that will hurt their business. So they cleared everything fast and quick.

This is actually nice to hear, that Bitcointalk is so influential. Of course, the situation of this user.is bad but it's good that reputation of this forum helped him in his rights. This just shows how powerful this community has become within years, that even businesses are afraid of negative reputation that they might get here and how could that reflect their business. Good job!
857  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Copy Trading help you make enough to cover your bills? on: May 07, 2020, 07:15:21 PM
To my opinion copy trading is not the solution. For some reason some traders think that is the good method but there are no guarantee for profit. Everx trader is different and uses different techniques and methods that should be adjusted to the market and circumstances.
You can never now if this will actually work and if traders you copy are real experts and especialy not if you will make enough to cover bills.
It's better to base trading on your experiences and knowledge. It takes time and success doesn't come over night but it's better than copy trading.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sudden fall in bitcoin price after successful halving, Post-halving prediction. on: May 07, 2020, 04:30:41 PM
I'm sure you're not the only one, something like that happened during the last halving, so it's natural that some people will expect the same to happen now. Plus Bitcoin was having a lot of ups and downs lately, so it's quite likely that there will be another big drop after a big rise. But I'm not 100% sure about that, if Bitcoin will manage to break the $10-11,000 resistance it can reach higher prices, so the eventual correction will bring us to something that we have right now or even higher.

People are trying to make predictions according to past experiences. This is natural, however I'm not sure if this can help. It's very hard to tell how Bitcoin price will look like after halving and if behaviour will be the same as last time
Also, I think that Bitcoin will hard break 10000$ resistance, no matter the current price rise which doesn't actually need to long lasting. Personaly, I will wait for halving without too big expectations.
859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason behind the Bitcoin price could reach $50,000 in 2020 on: May 07, 2020, 12:49:34 PM
Dream on, people!
It's good to see positive predictions but I prefere those who have at least some ground in reality.
50000$ is pure exaggerating and to my opinion it's not likely to happen. Don't think that every time when Bitcoin price starts to rise that it will reach enormous hights. This takes time, positive trends and continuous, steady growth. Currently there are no conditions for something like that.
860  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is Why Halving will Boost up Bitcoin Price on: May 07, 2020, 10:55:12 AM
Once again, too big expectations from halving, at the end we might have many disappointed users.
Optimism is good but we need to have different scenarios in mind, it's not only the price rise that is possible. I think there are some users who think that halving will solve all their problems by miracle.
Even if the price rise happens it might be only small and temporary so it's better to be more realistic.
