841  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 07-Jun-2017] on: June 09, 2017, 03:44:46 PM
unamis76, I don't mind that addition, but I'm going to wait for Fatanut's opinion before updating the OP, as he is the one doing the actual updates.

My answer is No because:

1. No, because who counts their post's characters anyway.
2. Only people that would find that useful would be those that post as minimal as the requirement to get paid.
3. Adding another column would impact smaller screen users' view on the table. (This has been discussed before and the width of the current table suits most devices well)
842  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Bitcoin has power nowadays ? on: June 08, 2017, 02:32:24 PM

Because bitcoin is a digital currency, which is already known to many people ...

i think its not just because digital currency but i think todays technology is growth so fast and people is depending with technology for almost all of their life. bitcoin itself is connected with the technology by helping of internet connection and because many people connected with internet too, it makes people know about bitcoin and spread the news of bitcoin and it makes bitcoin become famous.

So you're saying that people know bitcoins because everyone's using the Internet and bitcoin is on the Internet. With that very same logic, literally every person should know literally every single thing about the world by now (including bitcoins and each and every altcoin) since everyone's always connected on the Internet and everything is already on the Internet. Bruh, look around. You're being delusional.

In a global scale, almost no one knows bitcoins at all. There's 7 billion people out there and we're lucky if we're already at 1 million users right now. Bitcoin is definitely not "famous" at all.
843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best source of bitcoin nowadays? on: June 08, 2017, 02:19:44 PM
It is definitely the trading.Thats the best source of bitcoin that everyone konws.Trading is a great way to increase or even double the bitcoin that you have.Mining is a great source too but it would take too much time to mine some bitcoins for free.Gambling is a risky one and it could possibly decrease your bitcoin by loosing.

No mining is free at all. The process of mining is free but you would have to purchase the hardware to mine. Mining for literally free or out of thin air would take you infinite number of time.

Trading is actually just as risky as gambling. In a way, we're all just trying to our best to guess which coins will actually get hyped in the future. Most have great potential so people look at the coin's target market or investors instead. Some also look at the team of the coin. Altcoins simply live off the hype and without it, your altcoin holdings will just go to waste. You'd see trading "gurus" just saying outright which coins to buy. Half of the time it's just because they've already bought that coin at a low price and they simply just want to hype it.
844  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2017, 01:41:50 PM
Going back to the topic of this impasse, I want to say that the child needs to be taught at school and not at home, taking his childhood from him. Only a school or already a higher education institution should teach Bitcoin to students. But the fact is that our teachers do not have this education. Therefore, before you teach children, you must first teach those who will be engaged with children studying Bitcoin.

You don't need these teachers at all and most of the time you'd have a shitty education system especially if you live in a third world country. Most countries are far behind from what the teachers know in other countries. They are far behind from the equipment and teaching methods.

As a matter of fact, a lot of things in life was never taught in school and most of these things are actually very useful for an adult. Paying taxes, how to get out of poverty, how to actually socialize, how to stop fidgeting, these stuffs might not sound easy to master or to study alone but these are some "real world" kind of lessons with real world applications which can only be learned with real world experience.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Drugs with Bitcoin ? on: June 08, 2017, 01:24:30 PM
I do not think to buy drugs with bitcoin, the risk is too big, we better buy in a store that is common because more secure security Grin

He was probably referring to the banned drugs (narcotics), which are normally not available from the stores and pharmacies. And the main risk associated with purchasing illegal drugs from the deep web is that you need to provide your delivery address to the vendor. This puts you in risk from multiple sources. There is a chance that the vendor can blackmail you. Also, it is possible for the cops to trace you, using the address information.

Bruh, why would they even use a legit courier to deliver your drugs? Of course right away they would get arrested since they inspect the items before they put it in a box. The courier would be a different person. Most of the time, drug deals are done in meetup. Of course they can deliver it to you by meeting up where you want. That way, you can meetup to some other town so you can pretend that you live somewhere else. You can be traced with any drug deal. In every drug deal, the other end can always end up as a snitch or it can be a sting operation. That's why you only deal with trusted people or your friend's dealer.
846  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: June 08, 2017, 01:11:43 PM
In this country, money is the biggest problem and everyday there are people getting loans from dodgy guys, selling cars, jewelry,etc.. But in my case it would greatly depend on how bad do I need the money and how much. First I'd be selling some of my stuff like guitar gear, vinyl records... only as a last resort would I ask someone for money and that would probably be someone close to me or a close friend.

I actually think that it's much better to just ask for your a loan from someone right away. This way, you don't have to sell your precious precious stuffs. We all know that if you sell second hand stuffs, you'd be getting less than when you bought them. If you plan on buying them again once you got out of the financial crisis, then you'd have to buy them again but in an even higher price. Simply getting a loan from someone saves you from this hassle and it's even more practical since there's only a small percentage for interest. Other people even have good consideration so they don't put any interest at all and they let you decide when to pay.

848  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: June 07, 2017, 02:19:03 PM
Since I live in a third world country, everyone that have heard that I'm making a good amount of money (for a student) by working online and getting paid through bitcoins, a lot of my friends are asking about it. Of course I can't just say "No" because they would think different of me. I've taught enough people to just tell new people to ask my friends instead. The friends that have successfully learned bitcoins also want to help other people. So they end up teaching their friends about it as well.

And then eventually their friends will learn about bitcoins and their friends will talk about bitcoin's to their friends. And so on. Just imagine a tree. One branch creates more smaller branches. The whole thing is growing and growing so today I actually see strangers know about bitcoin only to find out that a friend's friend taught them.
849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do I grow my btc? on: June 07, 2017, 02:07:16 PM
Grow your BTC?

Assuming that you already have BTC and your account doesn't say "0.00000000 Bitcoins", this is how you do it:

1. Wait till the BTC price is about to drop down alot.
2. Sell your BTC
3. Wait till the BTC price has dropped down alot and buy the BTC
4. Repeat

Unless you have some insider information, then this would be impossible. For you to know that bitcoin's price is about to drop a lot, you have to either know a whale that's about to dump the market or be able to travel time. The first one can be the case if you've been on bitcoin core's Slack channel and you've become friends to the whales there. The second one is just impossible right now.

Trust me, if someone can just know a coin's price will go down/up, then he should have spammed every single market. And he should have accumulated a huge part of the bitcoin's supply by now regardless if he was an early bitcoin investor or not.
850  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 07, 2017, 01:50:39 PM
I don't think paper money is facing any competition from Bitcoin as government is not interested in circulation of a currency they can not control and regulate. Transaction of Bitcoin also charge a high fees which makes its use impossible for small transactions.
Absolutely, the government has the power to freeze the exchange sites to stop the circulation of bitcoin, without exchanges bitcoin is nothing and if it will be declared as illegal there is nothing we can do. Paper money will remain as it is the most simplest form of currency where we do not need to go online to spend, majority if not all the people can benefit with paper money but with bitcoin it's only a little portion and not even the poor people

Some governments have already tried that but miserably failed

The Chinese Central bank tried something to that tune, even twice but Bitcoin only rallied further and higher. "Freezing" exchanges would likely mean stopping Internet at large (to be effective), but that would be prohibitively expensive for obvious reasons. Otherwise, how are you going to stop something which might not even have physical presence? There are no offices to get raided, there are no bank accounts to get blocked, so how are you going to halt the exchanges? Some countries block access to exchange sites, but there are free VPN's and proxies to easily render all these efforts futile and void

Although impossible, if they (hypothetically) have stopped all these exchanges, people would just have to meetup to buy/sell bitcoins. We basically just have to take one step backward until somebody else makes another concept about exchanges. There might even be trusted people on Facebook that would buy and sell bitcoins with just some transaction fees. This is an opportunity to people that have a lot of bitcoins or has a supplier of bitcoins in exchange to fiat (simply the guy will be a "reseller").

It would be such a dumb move for the government to fund this when there are other problems like starvation going on in most countries.
851  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: June 07, 2017, 01:26:19 PM
It is a difficult situation and people can do anything to earn money if the situation is not having any money at all in his pocket whereas he desperately needs it as soon as possible, but I never experienced anything like that but if I am like that I better sell goods I have rather than done evil.

If this happens to me, of course I will also have same idea with you, to sell the goods or whatever we have and can be sold rather than borrow money to people.
Yeah I agree with you for borrowing money will not settle the problem, it will extend the problem with you have to pay the interest too. I prefer to sell my valuables

It will extend the problem if you are not gonna pay what you have borrowed, think also that it's not given for free,
when you are in need of money someone lent you to help you, sometimes there are people who are good in borrowing but not good in paying.

That's mostly the case especially when there's not enough punishment that would be given to the borrower if they didn't pay at all. This happens even often when the borrower is a friend of the lender. They just keep everything on "trust". No collateral at all. And a simply "Sorry, I wasn't able to pay it in due time." will always be the line until the lender finally forgets about it. It's a common thing that's why a lending business is really hard to do. Even when you want to reject someone's request, because of your relationship to that person, you're going to have to accept it anyway.
852  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: June 07, 2017, 01:15:46 PM
I think the best way to earn 0,1 btc weekly is by trading, speculation and HYIP, might sound less good because everyone thinks the HYIP scam, I think certainly not, with a lot of experience we can make money from HYIP.

Bruh, how can experience matter in HYIP at all? HYIPs are all a scam. How are you going to use your experience? You use your experience to find out which HYIPs are new so you can become an early investor and then hope that they won't run away before you can profit? I think that HYIP investors and those that even fight for it are outright dumb. They just witnessed tons of people getting scammed and still say that it's still not a scam. That's being arrogant, and that's not even an opinion. It's a fact. Or maybe you believe in HYIP because you're HYIP owner yourself?

You know what. Name one HYIP, even just one, that's still running up to date and have actually made a lot of people millionaires because they actually have been running for years.
853  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 07, 2017, 01:01:43 PM
For me it's no, because if the bitcoin change the Dollar, I think bitcoin value were going down because bitcoin is the basis of Bitcoin price in the market. Moreover, billion years bitcoin beat the Dollar in the market because trust of all people were already earn by Dollar.

That is right, besides, what can they gain using bitcoin? the fact that it is a good asset, it has a slow transaction, I mean slow confirmation especially when you pay cheap for the fee. Only some of the stores accept bitcoin because of it's volatility. And yeah, the trust of people is on fiats, we are using these fiats for a long time now, they can't just forget about it at that time.

How can bitcoin replace dollar? I can't understand this. Bitcoin is a digital currency and dollar is a fiat currency. At present all the trading of stocks etc are done using dollars. Just imagine if dollar is replaced by bitcoin. So to trade with US, all other nations should use bitcoins. Is it practically possible ? Its possible only when the entire population is aware of bitcoins and know how to use computers. Such a situation will only come,I mean replacing dollars with bitcoins, when all fiat currencies are replaced by bitcoins and that is really not possible.

Keep in mind that growth is exponential and ones a good percentage of the population is already using bitcoins, other people are just going to start using it as well especially when famous celebrities start to promote it. It will spread like a virus in the whole world. It would be quicker than you think but only when we reach that good amount of bitcoin population.

It is practically possible? Yes, it is. After all, bitcoin can be divided in much smaller units and by the time mass adoption happens, surely all the transaction fee, transaction time, and scaling problems will already be resolved. It will take a lot of time, though, as not everyone's open minded about this new concept of money.
854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: June 07, 2017, 12:50:22 PM
For me to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children is I'm going to show them a video on how bitcoin work and how to earn it. There's a lot of video regarding bitcoin on internet specially youtube. Children now a day can easily learn things by watching movie or thru social media. It is hard for me to one-on-one to explain it but with the help of bitcoin video it is easy then.
I don't know how this happens in reality with the children, but with teenage people it's really easy to make them understand. What's required is their attention, and this can be easily got because at that age they'll be in hard need for Money. Explaining all about the earning chances will easily make them learn and start using bitcoin.

Not really "need" but rather want. When I was a teenager, I used to want to buy every single thing that becomes trendy. iPhone, new glasses, new suit, new clothes, new pair of shoes. I really don't need money because obviously I still eat enough money and my parents are still paying for my education. There's very little population in teenagers where they really have to work on their own just so they can go to school. Plus, a lot of public schools are out there and most of them are just a walking distance. Food is the only thing you have to pay for and other stuffs you need for the school projects. Other than that, nothing else.

tl;dr: Teenagers don't need money. They just feel they do because of their hormonal thing going on that makes them want to socialize a lot and follow all the expensive trends out there.
855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: how to start trading with a very small amount on: June 07, 2017, 12:23:43 PM
as i am a newbie.. i know nothing about trading... what should i do to start trading and multiply my btc.. guys please help me
If you have no enough capital you could try to join in some altcoins campaign and the coins that you recieve you could trade it in exchanging sites. Even me have no big amount of capital so that I used alts campaign...by that process you don't need a capital and I guess this is good techniques for beginners.

Hi, what do you mean by altcoin campaign, signature campaign? I am sorry I am quite confused and curious what altcoin campaigns are and it might be another good opportunity.

Those surely are a better opportunity than bitcoin paying signature campaigns. In altcoin campaigns, you get paid a portion of the total supply of the coin. So your earnings are depending on how much money they collected during the crowdsale. Recently, ICOs are having very good results. Although it will take a long time before we can actually see their "success" (since most ICOs have visions that takes years). But with an altcoin campaign, you can just dump your rewards right away and get the money right away.

They pay better based on how much I've made on vDice Twitter campaign. I'm thinking of joining frequently on these bounty campaigns. Not only it allows you to have an altcoin to trade for free, it's also a good campaign to have along with bitcoin signature campaign. But they also have signature campaigns in case you want to join that too.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you see alts have chances against Bitcoins? on: June 07, 2017, 11:57:40 AM
Yes altcoins really having future as long as bitcoin price increases simple example is dogecoin it always follows bitcoin if bitcoin price increases dogecoin price also increase. and recent revolution in ether its really huge in altcoin history while writing the post ethereum price is 254$ hope to reach more than 1000$ in a year and again litecoin you have to keep eyes . Finally don't loose hope on dogecoin

In reality, it's the opposite. There might be a time when dogecoin has increased while bitcoin was increasing, but in most cases, altcoins are getting dumped when bitcoin's getting pumped. I don't know the whole "science" behind it but I guess people are dumping their altcoins when the price of bitcoin has increased because they know that other holders are going to do the same thing. When the dump of altcoins is already done, they can buy it once again but this time they will be able to buy even more of that coins because the price is lower.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: June 05, 2017, 09:14:50 AM
This is more like "Should I gamble or should I risk my money to other things?" Honestly, stop. You've earned bitcoins now, so then stop as long as you're ahead. Eventually, you're going to lose all of that just like anybody else in the gambling world. Since you're looking for a long term thing, then just hold your bitcoins. Once major countries start accepting bitcoins, then getting huge profits wouldn't be that hard anymore. All you have to do is to wait.

Even for entertainment purposes, don't gamble. One thing will always lead to another. Eventually you're going to lie to yourself that you're just gambling for entertainment even when you're actually already hooked on to it.
858  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 05, 2017, 08:30:40 AM
Paper money is going to keep existing but as we have seen paper money is going out and instead people are using electronic means of payment instead.
That will take some time and I don't think it will be bitcoin the reason why paper money will be eliminated, the government has the capacity to make their own digital currency and they can regulate it to be use by the people, bitcoin will just always play in the shadow.

Which is already going on right now. People are already using cards to pay almost everything. Cash is only used to small scale businesses and sometimes even small scale ones already accept cards. You would think that if people are more into using the digital form of fiat, then they will adopt bitcoins as well. But that's not the case right now. Bitcoin still has to prevail first by becoming mainstream before the mass start migrating to use it.

A thought: Maybe if bitcoin debit cards starts to become a "thing" then people might start using it as well? I know people use different cards from different places from different companies. Then maybe adding bitcoin debit card to their collection wouldn't be that troublesome.
859  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: June 05, 2017, 08:19:58 AM
Because bitcoin is a friendly users, by the help of coins online shop were easily provided our order because it easy to send bitcoin than paying cash. Also you don't need to withdraw and easy to check the account.
You will remember How much time did you need in order to fully study everything and start using crypto-currencies. And now only imagine how this will be done by those people who have very little education. And also in question is the children and the elderly, who have much less opportunity to use crypto currency. It seems to me that their choice will still be for real money.

As much as we want to help these people, but these people don't matter here. They don't know how to use it, okay. We can't conduct tutoring classes to them. We can't start educating them about basic education just so they can finally understand bitcoins. There will always be people that's left behind in the society.

Because bitcoin is a friendly users, by the help of coins online shop were easily provided our order because it easy to send bitcoin than paying cash. Also you don't need to withdraw and easy to check the account.
It's user friendly to those who fully understand how to use this but actually it is not for the majority because this is a new technology to them and they might not fully understand the terminologies of bitcoin. I am not a IT guy but I find this easy to use because I really love to earn, if only they have the interest it would be easy for them to understand.

Hun, no one understood something right away. No one knew a language since birth. No one knew how to properly wipe their asses right when they got out of their mother's womb. There will always be a learning process to everything although the length might differ to each one of us. Bitcoin was made not only for techie people or smart people, bitcoin was made for everyone. It's not that hard to understand bitcoins if you actually put effort to it.

In terms of bitcoin adoption, these people would know what to do at that point. There will be extra extra intuitive applications for having bitcoins. Today, what we have is an online wallet. And the other aspects about bitcoin will just be learned through the word of mouth because it's become a popular topic. Simply put, bitcoin will be so common that people can just easily understand it through their friends.
860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: June 05, 2017, 08:09:16 AM
So far it was best way to hold it. The problem is that no one knows what will happen in future, as you know there is no 100% sure investment. It could rise more, it could decrease, something could happen with bitcoin itself, laws could prohibit it, etc..
Everything is a risk. That's why only invest what you can afford to lose. In my opinion, to eliminate those risk, thou must also invest in altcoins so that if bitcoin dumps, you still have an altcoins that can make your recover from the loss you have got from one investment.

That's not "eliminating" risks at all. That's opening up to even more risks. Altcoins have a lesser solid support and foundation as compared to bitcoins. If you convert all your bitcoins to altcoins, and then an altcoin chose to dump the market because you just pumped it (by buying the coins), then you just lost money right away. If I want to be safe, then I'll just store my money to bitcoin. When there's a dump? Then just go hold it longer. It's not like we're required to sell when the price is going down.
