Also bei dir wäre es leicht Falschgeld loszuwerden. Du bist so von deiner Überlegenheit überzeugt, ohne jemals einen Schein kontrolliert zu haben. Bei dir reicht es wirklich mit einem UV-Stift ein paar Striche aufs Papier zu malen.
Lies dir doch mal die Sicherheitsmerkmale durch, da steckt eine Menge an technik dahinter die ein Kopierer oder Drucker einfach nicht hinbekommt. Oder warum meinst du wird immer noch das meiste auf Offsetdruck gedruckt, wenn ein popeliger Laser das doch auch könnte?
Ich vermute mal du redest mit mir, auch wenn du mich nicht zitiert hast. Aha. Ein paar Posts weiter oben habe ich den Bundesdruckerei-"Lehrgang" empfohlen. Nachdem ich ihn durchgespielt habe. Seitdem mache ich es mir zur Angewohnheit, routinemäßig Geldscheine nach mindestens drei Sicherheitsmerkmalen zu testen. UV und Marker sind da noch nicht mitgezählt. Also, bring it on: Ich wäre erstaunt und entzückt, wenn du mir in 2014 eine Blüte unterjubeln kannst! Much more I would like the borrowing/lending function to work. It takes minutes, at least 15 mins for offers to be actually taken. It's a total mess, and for some of us as much as important as the trading itself.

Bevor du solche Behauptungen aufstellst, solltest du recherchieren. "Es wird Druckfarbe eingesetzt, die fluoreszierende Pigmente enthält. Was Marker angeht, habe ich nicht recherchiert. A propos Recherche: Die UV-aktive Tinte und leuchtende Fussel sind vermutlich das Merkmal was am einfachsten zu simulieren geht. Den meisten wird nicht auffallen, dass die "Fussel" in der Blüte nur aufgedruckt sind. Und die Tinten: 99% aller UV-Lampen-"Profis" haben eine 1 Euro 405nm Lampe. Da leuchtet die hälfte der Tinte erst gar nicht. Marker: Soweit ich weiß, ein simpler Test auf Stärke bzw Zellulose. Die ist in Baumwoll"papier" nicht drinnen. Damit findet man gerade mal die Farbkopierer-Blüten von Jugendlichen Gangstas. Ente |

Es schadet nicht, wenn man Sicherheitsmerkmale überprüft! Es kann höchstens sein, dass man nicht genug geprüft hat bzw die überprüften Sicherheitsmerkmale vom Fälscher berücksichtigt wurden.
Es ist klar, dass es um so sicherer wird, je mehr Sicherheitsmerkmale man testet. Am besten testet man diejenigen, die am schwierigsten zu fälschen sind. Welche das sind, weiß ich aber auch nicht.

feature request:
allow a lender to cancel his loan IF another lender is willing to lend the same about for the same or better rate (better for the borrower)
I would like this feature. Although it would make even more sense with transferring a whole margin position! That would avoid slippage for both parties, and would reduce the amount of USD and BTC being transferred back and forth. Add a percent fees on that, and *all* sides are happy! Auch wenn es nur in einem groben Zusammenhang steht: Ich habe mir einen von diesen blöden Farbmarkern besorgt. Nicht weil ich Bitcoins gegen Cash verkaufe, sondern weil mich die ganzen Supermärkte, Spätis, etc. pp. total annerven, wo mittlerweile zum Teil auch schon 20er kontrolliert werden. Jetzt wird zurück kontrolliert! Und die Gesichter sind wirklich Gold wert. Ich überlge demnächst mal auf eine Münze zu beißen, um zu testen ob sie echt ist. Aber irgendwie wäre mir das dann doch zu ekelig. Um zurück zum Thema zu kommen: Auch wenn einige Experten hier gepostet habend as Marker und UV Lampen wertlos seien (  ), so würde ich dennoch sagen: Schaden könnenh die auch nicht... ...schadet nur, wenn die Blüte auf "gutem" Papier gedruckt wurde (keine Stärke und nicht UV-aktiv gebleicht), und man sich in falscher Sicherheit wiegt, weil man sonst keine Sicherheitszeichen testet.. The order book is unavailable because stamp is having problems. The "Order book" button on the upper right is working well, "Level 2 order book" (which includes stamp) doesn't load, same as the short order book at the bottom of the screen. Could be improved to fall back to showing only BFX's order book instead of nothing in a situation like this, but it's mostly Bitstamp's problem here.
Yep. As surely everyone noticed, even getting a simple price chart of bitstamp fails at bitcoinwisdom and bitcoincharts, more often than not. Seems to me Bitfinex passed it's stresstest! :-) I could slap myself for not putting up orders yesterday night. Went to bed an hour before it began. Ente |

Guys, I think it's amazing that this project is finally off the ground and working. I'm just sad I wasn't able to turn all these fancy parts in my office into miners...
I have a question. At what point do we give Bkkcoins a scammer tag? I hate to even suggest it as he gave a lot of his time to get the K16 95% finished before the chip debacle. I was with him the whole way and even sent him beer money so he could buy the equipment he needed. The fact stands that he still has 8 of my bitcoins, and everyday it's more and more obvious that he isn't returning. Other avenues of contact seem to have failed. How long do we give him?
Is he even alive? No one has been able to contact him and he has not surfaced anywhere. Again maybe the people in Thailand can do more digging on this and see what is going on. Someone needs to do some proper investigating into this in Thailand not just some calls to the numbers... but actually checking out his residence and with the people he has had contact with in Thailand. I got no response from calls, emails, postcards... at this point someone needs to take this to the next level and physically track him down. I agree. Dear fellow local Thailand bitcoiners, maybe you have heard of BKKCoins, the developer of the opensource ASIC mining hardware "Klondike": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=190731.0BKKCoins, Chris, vanished end of August. A lot of people are worried about that. Him dropping right off the face of earth is considered totally not him, after months of non-stop work and big investments from him into this project. People tried to call him, mails and textmessages, and sent postcards to him. No response whatsoever. Now it is time to have a look at his address in person. To see if he is alive and all well. For that, we need some local help. Who in Thailand would be willing to have a look at Chris' last known address?I will link to this thread here, and am sure others will chime in with the state of investigation, and with the area where Chris lives. Das ist falsch. Die mit Abstand häufigsten Falschgeldscheine sind 20er. 50er sind auch nicht unbeliebt, alle anderen sind fast irrelevant selten. One other annoying thing about the Pi is compiling Armory for it is a pain in the ass.
Now that ATI (Armory Technologies, Inc) has more resources, we might be able to increase the priority of a pre-compiled RPi build. We have a few other important things to get out of the way, but I definitely would be willing to make that a priority in the near future. More easy RPI integration would be fabulous! In fact, one of my next projects will be to get that RPI running, which is sitting there and taunting me. An Armory RPI offline wallet would be the choice I trust the most, from all systems I can think of right now. For me, this beats the Trezor hands down, as much as I like the Trezor project. I already have some more hardware waiting here for that project, like a tiny display and a USB host-switcher.. Ente |

You know what will happen once another bot uses a similar strategy? Good for us lenders! ;-) Seriously, I would suggest to program some kind of hard limit, "don't change the rate more than 10 steps in 24h", "only after manual override" or something. Sorry Leute, aber all das wird vermutlich nicht reichen, um im Nachhinein zu beweisen dass man die Bitcoins bzw die Adresse schon so-und-so-lange besessen hat. Ansonsten könnte man ja eine Wallet mit "ein Jahr gereifte Bitcoins!" verkaufen, zu 5% Aufschlag. Spart Steuern, kein Kursrisiko für den Verkäufer, und soweit ich sehe auch legal.
