861  Economy / Reputation / Re: Announce your rank up, merit or any achievements that makes you feel great! on: July 02, 2023, 09:57:00 PM
~
Wkwkwkw.... The reputation thread is currently interesting on the rby case. I was quite interested in it.. until I forgot what time it was

It looks like you are more interested on criticizing some senior members of the forum, which I find quite peculiar considering you have only been an active member for a month... If I may give a friendly advice, stay away from drama between seniors if it does not concern you directly or if you have nothing constructive to add. It is better to concentrate on learning and understanding more important things. Leave the drama for those who have nothing better to do.
862  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What Wallet Do You Store Your Bitcoin? on: July 02, 2023, 07:30:02 PM
~
Wouldn't it be best to store the BTC in a wallet that pays high interest?

No! If your wallet earns interest on the funds you hold, it means that it is a custodial wallet, and you are not the true owner of your coins; instead, you have entrusted them to the wallet provider for safekeeping. A recommended method for storing your coins is by using a self-custody, open-source wallet, such as Electrum or Bitcoin Core.
863  Economy / Gambling / Re: won cash x drop but no prize?? on: July 02, 2023, 07:20:21 PM
Anyone know how these contests work? Like shouldn't they just airdrop whatever into the wallet that played the game which won the prize? I shouldn't have to do anything right?

There is usually some process involved, which can vary depending on the specific contest and platform. Typically, after winning a contest, you may need to follow certain steps to claim your prize. Have you checked the contest rules or terms and conditions? Sometimes, the information regarding prize distribution or claiming process can be found there. By the way, which particular contest are you referring to?
864  Economy / Goods / Re: I sell My own used underwear + very, very sexy photos with me wearing them! on: July 02, 2023, 02:15:47 PM
Are you fucking kidding me? $50 for used panties? And you are telling me I still have to wash them myself before using them? That's just... wow.

I mean, come on! You can easily get a fresh pair of brand-new, clean panties for $0.99 or even less! Who in their right mind would pay such an absurd price for something that needs a good scrubbing? It just doesn't make any sense at all!  Grin
865  Economy / Speculation / Re: Less than 300 days left to halving - price predictions for The Day? on: July 02, 2023, 12:39:49 PM
I have a conservative prediction in mind! It is possible that Bitcoin could be in the range of $30k to $40k around the time of the halving. Historically, the real bull runs usually occurs in the year following the halving. That is when things get crazy! If history repeats itself, we could indeed see a substantial price increase, potentially reaching $100k or even more in the subsequent bull run.
866  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 01, 2023, 09:47:36 PM
I cast my vote, but let's face it, my vote is just as good as anyone else's. It is all just wild speculation. It could swing up, it could swing down, or it could go sideways. The only thing it won't do is take a backward leap. So, whatever we are in for this July, I have a feeling it is gonna be one-of-a-kind, like nothing we have seen before. Brace yourself for the unexpected!
867  Other / Meta / Re: Keeping old and new Topics alive on: July 01, 2023, 09:22:12 PM
One way to keep a topic alive is to bump it from time to time. This is allowed on the forum, but you have to follow certain rules. You can bump only once in 24 hours and old bumps must be deleted regularly.

Quote
13. Bumps, "updates" are limited to once per 24 hours per thread. Bumping multiple threads at the same time is allowed if it's not annoying. [2][e]

21. Old bumps should be deleted. [2]

868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How is your Gambling Pattern Like? on: July 01, 2023, 08:50:15 PM
I'm curious about your own gambling lifestyle. Do you set aside specific times each day or week for gambling?

No. I do not set aside specific times for gambling. I do tend to gamble more on the weekends (and on days when there is nothing else to do).

Quote
If you enjoy sports betting, do you bet on games throughout the week whenever they're available?

I enjoy to watch games whenever they are on, but I do not make it a point to bet on them every night. That said, if I find myself with nothing else to do on a Sunday afternoon and there is some game going on, then sure.

Quote
When it comes to visiting casinos, do you play at one today or this week and then try out a different one the next time you want to gamble?

I usually stick with the casino I like best, because I do not usually try out different ones.

Quote
As for bankroll management, do you track it using an app, Excel, or any other methods?

I do not track my bankroll. I have a general idea of how much money I have at the casino, but it is not something I keep track of on a daily basis.

Quote
And regarding your environment, do you prefer playing at an online casino while listening to music in the background, or do you prefer a quiet atmosphere?

I prefer listening to music in the background, but it really does not matter much.
869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: KYC propagation beyond my ownership on: July 01, 2023, 08:28:50 PM
Thanks. But though I may conceptually be "signing full ownership to a new recipient wallet", from a chain analysis perspective, there may be no way to know that that new wallet is associated with someone else. It could just as easily be another wallet I created. (Of course if the new wallet has KYC Bitcoin associated with the new owner, that would presumably associate the Bitcoin transferred from me with their KYC. Right?)

From a chain analysis perspective, yes. You are the last (only) known owner of those coins. But the investigation carried out by the police or other law enforcement agencies is not limited to chain analysis. In the case of some kind of crime related to "your" coins, you will probably be invited to an interview where you will simply provide evidence that the coins have changed hands and that you no longer have anything to do with them. On the other hand, with the information you provide, you may even help police detectives identify the real criminal.
870  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Should the government be allowed to keep secrets from their people? on: July 01, 2023, 08:17:12 PM
~

Depends. What kind of secret? There are secrets that can harm individuals or groups if they are made public or if the wrong people come into their possession. For example, the identity of spies and secret agents operating in foreign countries, working in the best interests of their home nation. Or for example, national security information, like defense strategies or diplomatic negotiations. In all these cases, keeping the secrets secure is important to protect individuals, or even broader societal interests.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reborn or legacy of Bitcointalk – looking for ideas on: June 30, 2023, 11:01:05 PM
Why is this topic in the section about alternative cryptocurrencies? Are you planning to create a token in addition to your platform?
Posted topic in this section because there is the most activity on forum, due to the reasons that I described.
I can transfer to another, if you tell me.
So far, only plans of creating platform, the token is definitely out of the question. In my opinion, token should solve the user's problems and be used correctly, and not only for speculative purposes, as in most projects.

Do not post your topic in the board that is the most active, but rather in the one that is relevant to your topic. For instance, if you wanna talk about a new social platform idea, the Project Development board would be the perfect spot for it.

As for your question, I love online forum discussions. Sure, there are things that could use some improvement here, because this software is kinda outdated. But if we were to dive into creating a new platform, the major challenge would be getting users on board.

873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Private key of BTC wallet on: June 30, 2023, 12:11:08 AM
How long would it take to brute force the rest of the private key?

Unfortunately, recovering the full private key with just the first 9 symbols is highly unlikely. Since the amount is not negligible, It would be a good idea to look for a paper and document restoration or forensic laboratory in your local area that specializes in handling situations like this. They might have the expertise and tools to assist with reading the other characters from the damaged paper. Reading other characters from paper might be easier than attempting to brute force the missing characters of the private key. Good luck!
874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A question from a beginner that offers his website for good products or services on: June 29, 2023, 09:42:31 PM
So you want to provide your promotional services related to the crypto market, i do liked your idea yes you can even get some clients from this forum as well but you need to provide proper details about your service and other details on the clients demands. For the proper lunch of your service you should create an ANN thread in the service section in marketplace.

Remember trust is everything, try to gain some reputation in the community it will boost your clients, Hope you'll enjoy on the forum.

That was why I doubted. Some say: Place it in the Marketplace/Service, other say: Those people will not look here, you should place it there and there, and so on.

That is why it is always a good idea to get to know the community before getting involved. It is kind of like when you walk into a new, unfamiliar bar in a different part of town. You wanna keep a low profile at first, chat with the locals, and get a feel for the place, you know?

So take your time, mingle a bit, and then you will be able to navigate the community like a pro!
875  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A question from a beginner that offers his website for good products or services on: June 28, 2023, 09:17:34 PM
Well, you know what they say, there is no one-size-fits-all solution. Every website owner has gotta find their own way and figure out what works best for monetizing from their site. Some may find success through affiliate marketing, while others may prefer generating revenue through display ads.  If you are looking to offer your services, the Services section is the ideal place to do so. I recommend paying close attention to the content of your post. It is also important to include as much relevant information as possible so that potential clients can better understand the value and scope of your services. So, make sure to craft your post thoughtfully, making it as informative and engaging as possible.

I followed some advise, I wrote casinos and exchangers but untill now I just found 1 small deal.

Finding deals in the casino industry can be challenging. It is a competitive market, and it may take some time. Is your website somehow related to cryptocurrencies? Also, it is possible that potential clients don't see it as the right fit for their target audience. Or, perhaps you did not effectively presented your offer.
876  Economy / Lending / Re: [W] 0.025BTC loan. CAN THIS TOPIC BE DELETED? See OP on: June 28, 2023, 05:12:47 PM
Can one delete this topic?
~
Or if I have to do it myself, I can not find it.

Sorry, but you cannot delete a thread if other people have replied to it. It wouldn't be fair to the others who took the time to post their thoughts. The only option available to you is to lock the thread.
877  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Kucoin to introduce mandatory KYC on: June 28, 2023, 05:05:43 PM
When I first read the news I thought that existing accounts would be spared. However, it appears that not only are new accounts required to undergo KYC verification, but it also states that existing users won't be able to deposit funds unless they are KYC-ed too. Bummer, right? Kucoin was like the go-to spot to trade those less-known tokens without dealing with DEXs. I mean, it is always a hassle having to verify your identity and all that shit, not to mention the potential privacy concerns it raises.
878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Let's find out which gambling game is the most played among our community... on: June 28, 2023, 02:28:37 PM
I have voted for my favorites. While I used to be highly active in dice gambling in the past, it no longer holds the same appeal. Perhaps it is because my schedule has become more packed, leaving me with less free time.

The popularity of sports betting is quite surprising. Although it is still early in the survey to draw definitive conclusions, an evident trend is already emerging.
879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using Crypto Trading Bot on: June 28, 2023, 12:04:48 AM
I guess I was hoping a professional could take a look at it and tell me if I'm being scammed.

What made you feel like you have been scammed? I mean, what did you discover after you had already entrusted them with your money?

After taking a first look at their website, I would not invest a single dollar with them. The entire thing is so amateurishly done and is full of grammatical errors and other obvious warning signs that practically screamed "scam." And if a company ever thinks it is smart to publish fake reviews, it is a clear sign to sprint in the opposite direction as fast as you can.

Because I was able to withdraw $10,000 back to my bank. If they were scammers, would they let me do that?

Perhaps you simply got lucky, and they allowed you to withdraw some of your money to persuade you into believing that it was legit business. Remember, even notorious Ponzi scams have paid out at least some of their clients. It is all part of their strategy to lure in new investors.
880  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best non Kyc exchange on: June 27, 2023, 11:37:32 PM
You can avoid this on some exchange since Kucoin doesn't require there users to submit their KYC. But they have set limits which is fine especially when you trade small amount of money and will not exceed to 1BTC a day. For now this is the best casino for no KYC needed category since they are somehow reputable exchange which operates for long years.

Any other exchange well I can't trust them especially those new ones stating that they will not require KYC to anyone.

1 BTC a day on the Kucoin exchange is only applicable to withdrawals and deposits, I believe. This restriction does not apply to trading.

You're right - Binance is one of them, of cource- but I wasn't there at the time.  Cheesy

I was actually there when it happened, and thankfully, they let all users withdraw funds from the platform without going through KYC verification. It was definitely the right move in that situation, and I hope other platforms take note and avoid locking user funds and demanding KYC.
