time to revisit this prediction from page 27069:

Dec 9th 2021 $261k

sigh...  Sad

well its not technically the 9th here in my timezone so all it needs to do is rise a mere $210k USD in the next few hours

ye of little faith.... sigh

I am happy to pay taxes because I know my government will give back to the people. But if my government starts going crazy and starts killing innocent people or putting them into camps, I will keep my funds out of their pockets.

i get what youre saying, but that strategy just might get you into one of those "camps" you speak of.

i hate taxes as much as the next guy and especially some of what my gov finances with them, but here in the "Land of the Free" (USA) my freedom would end real fast if i messed with the IRS.

If you didn’t download anything from a phishing site, didn’t enter your data and passwords, but simply closed the site and left, there should be no drama.

you can get infected just by visiting a compromised website, no clicking or dl needed. all the page has to do is load in your browser and boom youre infected.

I have Another definition of "JayJuanGee". In my Local Language "JayJuanGee" Means- "WinYoungGhee"  Grin Jay = Win,  Juan = Young, Gee = Ghee, = WinYoungGhee.
I know it doesn't make any sense. But it is what it is. Cheesy

so, just to boil this down to the essentials:

JJG = doesnt make any sense.

got it

If you have already downloaded malware, then most likely cybercriminals can already collect data about you and your passwords, when they collect everything, they can easily crack your passwords and pump out your hard-earned money, I had this with a friend if a virus lives on a computer. this does not mean that he is inactive or does not carry any kind of threat, it just may not have collected enough information for hacking.

yes its possible the password database/file and the wallet has already been uploaded to the hackers. they can work on those at their leisure at that point, no matter what you (the op) do with the laptop now.

op, assume your password database and wallet file will be compromised at some point, so on a known clean computer change all your passwords and create a new password database with the changed passwords. also create a new wallet and xfer everything over to it.

seeds are generally written down on paper (or something more permanent) and should never be in digital form.

New Meme, Created by me:  Grin

Not bad. I'd just erase the "-40%" below the "shitcoin trader" text that'd make much more sense IMHO.  Grin

then we need the typical WOer response to  -50%   ...   ZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz

[vaccine shots] this gene therapy experiment.

turns out the new covid pill merck came up with may be worse than a mRNA vaccine shot. as the pill actually does cause mutations to RNA (which the mRNA vaccine shot does not afaik)

but hey what do i know im no genius im just another stranger in a strange land wandering through.

anyway read up and see what ya think.

https://www.science.org/content/article/prominent-virologist-warns-covid-19-pill-could-unleash-dangerous-mutants-others-see-little-cause-alarm

Quote
The drug’s [pills] ability to mutate RNA has raised persistent fears that it could induce mutations in a patient’s own genetic material, possibly causing cancer or birth defects; studies so far have not borne out those fears.

again this is mercks new pill, not the shots. (ive has 3 pfizer shots myself)

870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.9d: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: December 06, 2021, 12:18:05 PM
This morning two different users posted a 6.0 version of this miner.
I noticed both posts got deleted so I guess they were spammers.

Sadly I downloaed and launched that 6.0 version.

I didn't mine because I got an error saying there was a problem with my drivers, advising me to go back to the 5.5c version.

Now I deleted it but I'm worried I could have installed some kind of virus in my pc.

Does someone knows what was that supposed 6.0 version?

I know it's clearly a fake version, but what was supposed to do? Maybe just to mine for another wallet instead of mine?

I mostly need to know if my passwords and everything in my pc could be compromised, or if I'm fine by just deleting it.

By the way, windows didn't find any virus. That's weird considering that the official phoenixminer gets blocked by Chrome and by windows because they see it as a threat.

considering the amount of time and money used (as in bought/hacked accounts sometimes) posting these malicious versions i would take no chances and change all passwords and format/reinstall windows.

the fact windows AV didnt pickup anything just means it hasnt seen it before, it can still steal stuff, install keyloggers, rootkits etc.

i have dedicated mining rigs, so if one gets compromised there is nothing of value on it and i just reimage the disk back to a known good image. or just format/reinstall from scratch.

tldr do not trust that machine anymore.

BLAH!!!!

10,159 Words.
56,675 Letters.

Dayum.

lol

my 1st computer had 1k memory. didnt get to a computer that could hold that JJG post fully in RAM till years later on my CP/M rig with 64k.

too lazy to math out the transfer time on a 300 baud modem but im sure its long enough to fall asleep waiting for it.

oh wait, just like actually reading them irl

You speculate that you got it rough.. just consider being stuck in a body that has to write such 'splainings to have to respond to some of the lame-ass ideas (if you can call them that?) of you goofballs (#nohomo).

well its actually a mouse wheel that had it rough.. as in the rubber part of the scroll wheel separated from the scroll wheel itself. no lie either, i will try to get a decent pic and post it. pretty sad looking, and it gave its life in a valiant effort to save my sanity from your basic JJG sized posts.

JJG if you set up a mouse scroll wheel retread business you could prolly  get a decent side hustle going.

Sadly for me, I was around for the beginning of bitcoin, but as a starving artist I never really accumulated very much of it... so no buying of islands for me.  Hindsight is always 20/20.

lots of people just assume that just because someone was around early on in btc that they are now rich beyond measure.

lol sure

i mined early on when btc was tossed around like popcorn. selling at $35??? GENIOUS!

remember this was all just a Grand Experiment to some. if anyone had told me back then that a single bitcoin would be worth north of $60K USD in 10 years? pffft i would of laughed for days

878  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 30, 2021, 03:01:16 PM
I think we should ask theymos to implement a feature, where you can select to have all your old posts deleted after an X period of time. Or better yet, after a certain amount of the price rising, e.g. delete all posts that were posted when BTC was worth 100x less then it is now.

why?

this forum is part of bitcoins history. leave it be for historians (or garbage pickers, depending).

I was just kidding, because of the post above me where a member made a deep dive in the old posts of a Legendary member, and used that to infer stuff about how rich this person might be. It was just a way of hinting that that might not be very Gentlemanly.

ah, gotcha

but JJG is the go to guy on that. i think he has spreadsheets on us to keep track.

Now a new variant a new booster shot.

the booster shot is just a firmware update for the 5g nanobots

pretty forward thinking actually, make that mind control tech last.
