882  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Avg yield from Avg mining pool? on: August 11, 2017, 02:09:47 PM
On average you'd get the expected amount, plus a proportional amount of the txn fees if you don't mine at a pool that keeps it for themselves.  What's the expected amount?  Need more data - plug your numbers into here: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

Hi MEARK, many of us here are still waiting/hoping to make the acclaim board, including me!  Indeed you need to solve a block to get there.  Good luck to you, since if you get on the board we all get PAID!!  Cheesy

887  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: $10,000 mining rig. on: August 09, 2017, 04:26:06 PM
Easy there, Junior, NotFuzzy is well respected and knows his shit here.  You said both Bitcoin and rig in the same sentence, and there's no such thing as 'rigs' in Bitcoin, so YOU started the confusion.  And it's not your fault, but we get SO MANY useless threads started in this section which are not BTC related that we all get a little tired of it and may be a bit curt upon yet another "How much money can I make" thread...  Wink
That being said, you can calculate how much you'll make here: https://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty

892  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 25 Asics power set up on: August 08, 2017, 03:09:35 PM
Well I'd first suggest you get in touch with someone more versed in electrical hookups if you're unsure.  However, it appears that you have plenty of power for the number of units you want to run.  I'd setup duplex outlets on a 15A or 20A breaker each so you can run 2 miners on each duplex (2400W), setup 5 breakers/duplex outlets per phase pair, run 8 on two of them and 9 on the third for your 25 units running balanced as close as possible.  And, of course, wire everything appropriately for the amps/power involved.
See, get some help, I would!
893  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help - Power Cord getting hot and melting on: August 08, 2017, 02:58:09 PM
Check the temp of the outlet once it's been running a bit.  Make sure you don't have a high resistance connection there due to the previous issue...!
894  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: "BITMAIN Order Shipped" - Happy early birthday to me! :) Activity at Bitmain... on: August 08, 2017, 02:54:07 PM

Bummer...  You fill out the ticket and ship it.  Put in the tracking# and shipping company used.  Once they get it you will get an email.
