881  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: May 11, 2023, 03:01:34 AM
It's too early to see him going belt after belt here, if he wins here, he should be defending it against the rank fighter in his organization. He really need to test other boxers too before unifying it unlike in the bantamweight division wherein most of the belts he won because there is a tournament that time and he face most of the champion in the WBSS.

For let's say Naoya Inoue wins over Stephen Fulton and successfully grabs the WBC and WBO Super Bantamweight title, and knowing Bob Arum's play, he might think that his Inoue won't face any risks if he goes straight unifying the belts at the 122 lbs division without having a mandatory title defense. I'm referring to Inoue facing the new counterpart champion, Marlon Tapales. Or on the other hand, if pure business will apply, Inoue might fight a series of title defenses before unifying, to maximize the revenue potential, I guess.

Later on, unification will follow and if wins, no more business needed to be settled at the 122, Inoue might move up to 126 as a Featherweight.

Just a possible view of his timeline as no doubt, Inoue can really even move up to 126 for a year or two smoothly without a problem.

Definitely, Inoue might move up again after dominating the super bantamweight division. As reported, it is said that there's not a lot of money in lower divisions. Therefore, Inoue will likely try to pursue a higher division where he can maximize his profits using his popularity. Many people say that Inoue might be the next Manny Pacquiao, and I agree with that, as long as he does not waste a lot of time staying in one division where he has already dominated.
882  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THE FUTURE OF AI ON BTC TRADING AND MINING on: May 10, 2023, 08:51:23 PM
Artificial intelligence is on a fast track. Task that were once considered to be time consuming and energy sapping are now completed within minutes using AI. some traders sit for hours in front of their gadgets analyzing charts and studying trends yet they end up making bad trade calls, but now there are AI bots that analyses the market and places trades automatically even while you sleep.

So friends, what do you think the future have in store for BTC trading and mining?
Real traders won't simply change their behavior and become reliant on AI, as they are not good compared to their experience and wide market understanding. I know AI is somewhat taking us to the new design of trading and it really helps newbies to capture the market movements faster but when it comes to decision-making, this technology isn't really great for me. If this gonna be a big blowout in trading, I'm gonna be thinking that the majority will then move to trading as well for they already have winning assurance using AI. That really sounds impossible, it is only made to add traffic and hype AI technology.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: May 10, 2023, 02:45:00 PM
Hi we are changing the reward system and we would like to have some feedback before launch the new system

What kind of rewards/bonuses do you like ?

Welcome bonuses , cashback , freespins etc ?

or what kind of rewards would you like to see in an online casino ?

Thanks

I'm okay with free spins, as normally the welcome bonus has difficult conditions that are hard to achieve. With free spins, it's easy to understand and do the kind of gambling. But the most important thing is the loyalty reward. The more you gamble, the higher your level will grow, and you'll get free bets in the long run. Although I'm not really relying on that, it makes gamblers happy if they feel valued by the gambling sites.
884  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jason Moloney vs Vincent Astrolabio WBO 118lbs Title (May 13) on: May 10, 2023, 11:52:08 AM
For Vincent Astrolabio this fight is not really that hard because he used to fight that kind of style of opponent all the time and also a good exposure for him since Moloney is a worthy opponent to give his all. He needs to put on a show here because this is his chance to shine and might be the best way to train harder to beat Moloney.

Pilipino boxers are always known for upsetting their opponents being an underdog and this one is no exception only in Vincent Astrolabio will gonna work harder in his training because if it's not, he will be the one to lose this fight.

Actually, I didn't know that Vincent Astrolabio is a Filipino until you mentioned it in your comment. Well, at first, I believed that Maloney is the better boxer, but I'm going to be biased here and root for Vincent Astrolabio to win.

Astrolabio may be the underdog, but he is only a slight underdog since, based on the betting odds, he has a 2.08 odds of winning while Moloney has 1.72 odds.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 10, 2023, 11:17:00 AM
Its impressive triple double performance plus a win for Jokic and for sure they are hype for the fact that they can able to handle this super team and now they are 1 game away to advance on next round.

You'll be impressed with Jokic every game as that's become normal for him. With the game now back in Phoenix, the Nuggets have momentum, and I think the road team may finish the series.

In the other game, the 76ers have surprised the Celtics by winning Game 5 and taking the lead in the series. I hope we won't see a repeat of last postseason, where the Bucks faced a similar scenario.
886  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: May 09, 2023, 08:03:36 AM
What time is the Gilas game today? I checked my bookie, but I couldn't find a specific game for today.

Does anyone know which bookies are offering betting odds for the games today? Or has the game already ended? I just want to place a small bet to enjoy watching the game in case it hasn't started yet.
887  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 09, 2023, 05:34:05 AM
Man!! I can say the GSW messed up this one big time! Thompson, Green, and Curry all have their poor decision making and poor shot selections late in the final quarter. I don't understand why Green dished out offensive rebound when he can lay it up back in and potentially get a foul as he have a smaller defender (Schroder) in front of him. Thompson as I remembered, had a couple of bad 3 pt shots that killed their momentum. Curry on the other end,  forced that long 3 in front of Davis. They could've ran it back again and make a play as they have still 10 seconds left in the shot clock. And that last possession, they could've called a time out after Curry grabbed the rebound.
Well, too bad! The Warriors got beaten by Loonie Walker alone in the 4th quarter.  The guy will have more minutes in game 5 and yeah LeBron and AD will probably have to rest next game to get a set of fresh legs in game 6. Otherwise, they'll come again in full force to end the series in 5.
I wish all the Golden State Warriors players and Coach Steve Kerr could hear Stan Van Gundy in the commentating area. He is right, just give the damn ball to Steph Curry and everything will be alright. He won't be in a triple-double if not.
They also forgot what Lonnie Walker IV did in the 4th quarter of Game 3. He was dominating all the bench players even in a blown-out game and because of that Coach Ham made sure he will give him minutes when they are in crucial need of a shooter and so it was successful.
It was all thanks to Lonnie Walker IV, who played brilliantly and didn't miss many shots. His confidence is sky-high, and he even made crucial free throws to seal the victory. Lebron also deserves credit for his leadership; he trusted his teammates and didn't force the issue, which led to their success in a very close game.

As for Curry, he was brilliant as usual, but he needed more support from his teammates. I was expecting Thompson to step up and provide that support, but he wasn't consistent enough.

Jordan Poole is messed up, someone should give him a lesson about not dribbling the ball too much. This ain't the season anymore.
Klay Thompson may have dominated 1 game but his defense is weak and he doesn't hustle for the ball on both the defensive and offensive end of the floor.
I'll stick with Moody and DiVicenzo instead of them because they play like every possession is a crucial one to win the game.
I bet Steph Curry is so frustrated now but he cannot just let it out to avoid quarrels in the locker room.
I think the team should trade Jordan Poole since he hasn't been as useful as he was during the last playoffs. I'm not sure what happened to him, but since receiving a huge contract, his stats have dropped significantly.
888  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Importance of entrepreneur in school curriculum on: May 08, 2023, 09:00:42 PM
I cite this example,
there are 1,000 graduates while there are only 100 vacant jobs. For sure it was impossible to put all of these graduates to work and only 10% of them got a job while 90% are unemployed. Now if every year this will happen and no job increase, then more and more unemployed people. That is why we should not rely on finding a job but have also to find ways and use our skills if possible to create money.
And I certainly agree that entrepreneurship is very important in school and should be improved as this serves as their option after finishing studies (or even not) so they could still find another option while waiting for a job.
889  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are a joke. on: May 08, 2023, 08:17:09 PM
My last transaction was 1.5 ETH. I had to cancel. I will not understand at all that there is Buterin with gas to joke like that. Maybe the time has come to completely abandon the first-level blockchain.
We really got hit the heavy network congestion and it was disappointing to see the huge fees. I'd see that it was impossible for small investors to buy and more their money in this situation. For now, nothing to do but to check regularly the chart fees and wait until it goes back to low fees. Honestly, the entire market is been suffering huge fees which include Bitcoin as well. I've been looking for another option but it was hopeless, we can't any other than just wait to calm down.  I think we are urged to hold because of this situation...
890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Early Profit can be misleading. on: May 05, 2023, 09:18:27 AM
snipped...

One common thing attributed to making an early profit on investment is the luck factor, once they make an attempt and hit the target on this first approach, they believe that things will always be as thesame always and therefore they relax down and the next thing you see is the other side of it all, hitting them unexpectedly where they could hardly recover from, in every trading we do, we must always be on alert, anything can try to show up entirely different from what we expected, but once we see it coming, we could prepare and plan against such.
Well, I agree. But isn't it good to profit at first because it just shows that what you have learned before you try to trade does work? Profit is better than losses in your first try because it can encourage you to do better so you can gain more. But if you become complacent after that because of your thinking that it's easy then that's the problem.

As a trader, you need to improve your strategy, analysis and continue to learn. Gaining at first doesn't mean the next result would stay the same and it is one thing that a trader should be aware of especially for the newbies who are thinking it is not hard to be a trader.
Losing is really frustrating on your first attempt and you could really think about quitting. But a person who comes into trading knowing that this could possibly happen to them, no way they'll think about it but rather make it a reason why they need to improve their knowledge and trading skill. This kind of mindset will obviously have the chance to grow and reach their goal. But for those who think trading is just easy, I was certain that when they suffer losses, they will blame the market but not themselves.
891  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising altcoins? on: May 05, 2023, 07:53:02 AM
Ethereum (ETH),Binance Coin (BNB),XRP (XRP). how to choose how to distribute the interest on them?
If you have $100 for altcoins investment allocate $60 for ETH and $40 for BNB. I don't include XRP as it was not that promising actually.
Choosing coins for investment is just like we are making our future as well. That is the reason why we should consider those coins that have a solid market performance and yes, projects that have a significant value in the market, not just because it was in the top 20 or one of the top 10 altcoins. Choosing isn't that hard if we have really done the research and of course, if we are also checking their performance as it will tell us what possibly happen to them in the future.
892  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The fear of losing bitcoin... on: May 05, 2023, 05:29:34 AM
It is always wise to walk away from anything that doesn't give you peace of mind, because it will be called dying twice if you developed an illness while still there and still had to be pushed out by force.
The fear of losing Bitcoin is for those who have either suffered so much loss or are yet to due to stories they have heard from close sources.
I can assure anyone anyday, that where one looses, there one also grows and learns the best lessons unto greatness.
Never loose hope of gaining from Bitcoin anytime. it's more steady with better track record of value and innovation.
And it is all about how we see it and trust Bitcoin. Because it was impossible to have peace of mind in Bitcoin if we don't have any trust and I was sure that with every drop and negative news we heard, panic will always come out, and unconscious of what we gonna do next. Because we notice that many people talk about crypto bad and good, and all of these things would really affect your mindset. I suggested keeping on the positive side keep ourselves undistracted from baseless information because we know that Bitcoin is growing. Of course, it dumps but rises back again that is why we have no reason to worry.
893  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Staking really great way in crypto wealth on: May 05, 2023, 04:57:55 AM
Although staking carries no risk of liquidation, there is always a chance that the asset's price could decline, bringing about lower rewards or losses. The benefits you receive for staking may also not always be guaranteed and may change based on the market and network's staking policies.

Additionally, the new exchange feature that allows users to earn interest may be a good way to generate passive income without having to worry about the specifics of staking.
The idea of staking is just to encourage investors to hold their coins and earn some percentage while waiting for the price to grow. It somehow builds confidence to holders that a few weeks from staking they'll double their rewards as they sell them. It was now a usual practice by many investors but honestly, I don't do it for the sake that I want to keep my funds secured because I know that the rewards I probably get from staking are very small and aren't convincing for me and most of all, the risks from losing them all if the platform turn scam.
894  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or investment! What's your take? on: May 04, 2023, 12:39:17 PM
Now over to you reader, which aspect of bitcoin is best or worst experience? Where are you good at! Trading or investment?
If it is about Bitcoin, I think it is better to invest than to trade it. I almost never trade Bitcoin because I can't get enough profits by trading Bitcoin since I only use small money. While trading in altcoins, I can get enough profits because altcoins are more volatile and can move the price quickly. Bitcoin price just grows gradually and it is not very significantly moving.

Perhaps, it's true and I'd never use BTC trading pairs until I notice that it was not profitable compared to altcoins.
And I see that BTC is just only for long-term investment, not really cool for trading. Because in investment, we don't need to have a very volatile coin but what we need is a project that will certainly grow and increase its price in the long run, and this is how we know about Bitcoin. But in trading, we need to consider how volatile it was and seems to see that Bitcoin doesn't have that kind of behavior now.
895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price gets to $60k this year? on: May 04, 2023, 11:58:16 AM
When in March the price could touch $ 30k many were optimistic that the market would continue to rise, many continued to buy and now they see the fact that the market is down, I also don't regret buying when the price is $ 30k, if we pay attention to the trend then 2023 will be the year recovery and now I will also continue to buy as long as I have extra money.
In general Bitcoin has made a price recovery this year and the trend is still very good so you don't need to worry even if you have bought Bitcoin at $30K. Because you won't lose as long as you hold on tight and don't panic to sell it at the current price, but it seems you are a very optimistic person about Bitcoin because you are not afraid and still want to buy Bitcoin when you have extra money in your wallet.
Real investors don't just look at the current price but what is important for them is that they are sure about their investment to grow a few years from now.
They are willing to spend more and accumulate more Bitcoin. Perhaps, they are aggressive as they trust Bitcoin and the bright future of this project. And no matter what will happen in the market, they're still optimistic about it and no way to say them panicking and sell their coins instead, they hold and keep holding until the the perfect time comes to sell theit Bitcoin.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 04, 2023, 02:02:23 AM
Everyone just saw the expectation that we've set for ourselves. Both teams are good just as expected and this is where one of them is going to end.
Well, here goes the 4-3 predictions that I'm seeing on them and we'll know it soon. But we're sure that GSW won't just let this end favoring the Lakers.
And within the next few minutes, we'll see if Celtics will take their first win or if Philly is going to take their 2nd win.

With what happened in Game 1, I think the Warriors need to win Game 2 and at least one game in Games 3 and 4. The Lakers are hyped now, and people are thinking that they will win the series and possibly end the defending champion with a 4-0 or 4-1 record. However, this is just Game 1, and anything can happen, just like what happened in the Celtics vs 76ers Game 2, where the Celtics bounced back strong and dominated the 76ers.

Let's not have too high expectations, as we know that the Warriors are the defending champions, and they will not give up this series easily. The Lakers are in good shape now, but the series is not over yet. Have you guys forgotten how the Kings were hyped when they were up 2-0 against the Warriors? And when they beat the Warriors in Game 6, look what happened. The Warriors still won the series, and Curry had a historic performance, being the only player to score 50 points in a Game 7 playoff.
897  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 04, 2023, 01:36:48 AM

Boston Celtics on the other hand will be in big trouble if they lose another game at their home. Their road record may be good but so do the home record of the 76ers. They must know how to close the game efficiently because their loss from the previous game was just because of being careless of the ball.
76ers +8.5
Over 214.5
The game starts in 2 minutes.

I like the situation of the Boston Celtics now as I'm sure everyone will be jumping on the 76ers since Embiid will return. The thinking of the people will be that if the 76ers beat Boston in Game 1 without Embiid, they'll surely beat them with their best player playing in Game 2. That's my theory, and with that, I think Boston will win and cover the spread easily.
898  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beginner mistakes and how to avoid them on: May 03, 2023, 09:46:56 PM
Those tactics are for people who are quite new to the trading scene and are waiting just to get rekt. There are a lot of newbie traders that are going into the market head-on without any safety or any precautions before investing. They might lose everything in one swoop and that could really happen. I think we all have those days and the goal should be to prevent that.
Well, I see that newbie's time is a learning time for them and I would be expecting terrible losses. I'd still remember my newbie time joining crypto trading, the confidence is not really there, and my decisions keeps on changing when the market trend changed as well.

The best way to win is to be consistent and not be emotionally attached towards the market sentiment.
It all comes that far when we fully understand how trading works and our experience would really help us.
More experience, more knowledge which is a medium to our success but the sad thing is that we have to suffer losses first before we get it.
899  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 03, 2023, 09:05:10 PM
Yes, the Lakers stole one game on the road, and they are very hyped up right now. However, I wouldn't join in on the hype because it's just one game. The Warriors could still come back with good adjustments
It's okay that you won't join the hype and bandwagon as this is normal whenever rivals are playing and this isn't the finals game. We've got all our favorite teams and we expect more for our supporting team to come back which is the GSW. That shot of Poole has made rounds and it's funny that everyone is certainly feeling bad about that shot. If everyone's feeling bad on it, how much more Poole and the entirety of Golden State Warriors.

Yes, precisely. Everybody including these professional basketball players are also bound to make mistakes, it is somehow unreal if people will expect that Poole will always be successful on every shot that he's making especially during clutch time because even if he got lucky saving the team in various occasions, that is not enough to make him a clutch player, he still have a long way to go before he can reach that feat.

Moreover, I doubt that there will be a criticism if it happens Stephen Curry was in Jordan Poole's place and was the one who made the shot and failed. I definitely know that people will still find an excuse to excuse Curry from that mistake.
900  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 03, 2023, 08:42:41 PM
Maybe one last ride huh? Warriors vs Lebron again and Lebron managed to get the first win, that's a good thing for them, definitely a good way to break the home court advantage and should be considered a great deal, I hope that they can keep doing that for a while longer.
The Lakers are in a comfortable stage now but not too comfortable because they still got couple of games with the Warriors to play with, but what I mean by that is that the Lakers will be fine if they will be defeated in Game 2 because they already snatched a good win on their 1st game inside the Warriors backyard which is hard to do if the team is not that capable to keep-up with the Warriors.

Quote
All in all I would guess that Lakers do have a big advantage thanks to AD, because they are doing something that Warriors can't do, which is rebounding like crazy. That is how Warriors beat Kings, managed to get the boards, and Lakers knew this and Lebron is making it look easier. I hope that it gets better soon enough, and the series gets tied next game. I am going to bet Warriors win on second game, that seems like the most likely result by the looks of it.
Don't forget that in Game 1, Kevon Looney still managed to get 23 rebounds inside his 29 minutes playtime on the court while Green is busy doing the Warriors defensive ends and blocking every shots that he can. But AD is a 2 in 1 kind of player where he can do both Looney and Green's role while also taking point in the offense, and that's the upper hand of the Lakers.
