I like to announce a modified version of the CPU-Miner. It's on average about 1000% faster. Yes, no typo, +1000%. The trick is to only search for gaps that meet the criteria (pool = is a share, solo = is a block) and quickly discard others. 10g/h and 15g/h are not calculated anymore. The source is available here: https://bchain.info/gapminer_dcct_mod.zipCheck and compile yourself (just "make" will do the trick). You are on the right track, but still about 3x slower than optimal. I am averaging about 1.5 blocks an hour on 2 x Intel Core i7-4770K processors. It is nice to see that someone is enhancing the miner. But will you release your miner? |

everything looks great, but the excitement is gone without mining. Most of us are miners give us some POW  POS only suits this coin much better with the planned usage. We don't want miners with large farms of ROI'ed equipment to be able to mine and dump at any price, the aim is to try and peg each coin (various methods as per the ANN) to as close to $0.10 as possible and POS suits this model better. No you want all the coins to yourself so you can sell them through your ICO. Plain and simple. All you want is some easy BTC. Just admit it. These damn ICO's for worthless coins are getting ridiculous. You'll meet the conditions of the ICO terms, working wallet, blah blah blah. C-Cex will release the BTC to you and pocket their fee without any concern for what happens next. The coin might get a small pump. Just enough to attract some more naive investors. The coin will be dumped and slowly descend into the neverland of worthless altcoins. None of the promises will be realized and investors trying to get some of their investment back will find that there are no buyers for their coins. But hey, you got your BTC. I think we should be easy on our assured 'predictions'. I would hate it if some noobs actually fell for it and got burned We all know that Evan is gonna patch the security hole as fast as he can and it will most probably require a hard fork but not sure if price will stay stable during this time. So if you are noob and reading this, use your head. That's all i can say. Too true. Need more rational posts like yours instead of all the prediction and chart nonsense posts. The only thing those charts are good for is historical data. You can't use the same methodology used for real stocks to predict altcoin market trends. Fees for Darksend time seem less useful than fees for Darksend amounts. Depending on how many people are anonymising their DRK, 24hrs may or may not be enough, but if you could pay a fixed fee upfront to anonymise a fixed amount of DRK, that would be better IMO.
Solution 1: Fixed Fee Session ModelYou enter how many DRK you wish to anonymize and it calculates the fee and will give you access to the masternode network until your set amount of DRK has been anonymized to your requested number of rounds. After that you are locked out and need to pay the fee again to access the masternodes based on how many DRK you want to mix. This way its a guaranteed delivery of service. However I think it has a major drawback...There might be a way that the fixed fee could be tracked to your mixing input (as its fixed and needs to be tied with your input signature) and compromise your anonymity. Solution 2: Subscription ModelAs I see it the subscription model will just give you a "token" to say you can mix whatever you want for X period of time and not tie your inputs to that subscription hence upholding anonymity. Drawback here is if there isnt enough liquidity during the time period you have been granted, you risk not matching inputs and spending 0.1DRK for nothing. Although talking with Evan the liquidity will solve itself over time as more users mix. Not sure if ive been smoking too much but let me know if im way off  I'm not 100% against the idea of subscriptions, i guess the foundation can do its bit and get some T&Cs together and limit the network's liability to the fee - you would have to agree to the T&Cs before you could use the service. But, its moving away from the idea of cash and into the concept of banking. The subscription idea should be a non starter. How would these subscriptions be maintained? You move away from decentralization once you introduce entities to manage something like subscriptions for use of network services. Think about the implications of going down this path. |

Yeah, it's the source. The Proposal: Hardfork the network to provide completely zero-fee darksend mixing. However, when users start they'll pay a "subscription". When mixing on a masternode, they provide proof they own that subscription and the masternode will allow them to mix. After mixing, only masternodes are capable of transmitting these zero-fee transactions to the network by signing them, and they are restricted to only send 1 a day (some calculation based off the total amount of masternodes). I don't see any coin other than a Cryptonote coin challenging Darkcoin for the title of anonymous coin. And there is room for more than one anyway. Darkcoin has a large and faithful community and it's not going anywhere. I don't see the price going any lower. I think it will settle between .01 and .02 in the next couple of months. I expect to see a buying frenzy within the next week or so. |

So this is a game for you to make innocent investors lose their money ? Another scammer. What did you expect, when every post of me mentioned "get rekt"? Rektcoin did not have any feature (or promised feature) what would make it legit as an altcoin for the future. But rektcoin was a project for fun, and it still is. All bagholders just bought Rektcoin and hoping for a pump and quick profit, just like all other shitcoins you are buying: it doesn't matter what the coin brings....you are just hoping for a whale who will pump it and you can make a quick profit. I guess no whale pumped rekt so you all got rekt! Including us! Don't blame anybody else, blame yourself for buying a coin with nothing.
