921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why gambling and mixing called bad actors in bitcoin on: April 27, 2023, 11:46:17 PM
Just because the transaction can't be traced people term it to be bad. Mixing service were used for illegal transaction and for tax evasion and other benefits. This could give a negative impression over bitcoin and not everyone have such thoughts. These are people who already have negative thinking over bitcoin as a bad thing.

When it comes to gambling, there is a misunderstanding bitcoin is developed for gambling and for illegal needs. In the early days the gambling platforms have helped much in the growth of bitcoin. Now scenario is different and people use for different needs. Even now relating it with gambling is not fair. People should understand how big is the market and what part gambling holds.
922  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: April 27, 2023, 12:10:43 AM
Both have got to be gambling in some form, and investing stands seems to be better than gambling for the positive outcome. Investing turns to be completely a gamble when the investment is made on a random basis without analysing about the respective token/coin. In that case there are success as well as massive loss. Not everyone does it, another thing trading is not pure gamble. When we gamble with the fund the result used to be win/loss. If it's loss we'll loss entire fund whereas with trading/investment the market drop will be the loss which can be overcome if we have the patience.
923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto (btc) is not for the weak on: April 26, 2023, 11:57:10 PM
Crypto is for everyone, whether a person is weak or stronger doesn't matter. Even the weaker person can be successful, when they have the patience to win the market. Most of the time the small volume holders and the beginners into the market have the weak mind, because they haven't experienced much about the market as well as have big dreams about turning rich through the investment. The reality is different and the same all of the sudden gives disappointment. Some used to experience surprise and they turn positive further whereas the failed one turns negative, such scenario shouldn't happen. Better learning and they need to stay atleast for few months time then weaker minds too understands well about the market.
924  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Addiction. on: April 26, 2023, 11:52:59 PM
Maybe there are similar people who gets much addicted to investment. These kind of person needs to be given good counseling, only then they can be brought out of such situation. Because the continued investment could bring profit, atleast they can withdraw the profit and spend on good. These people never have such mentality, they go for further investment. For this reason, they'll have money in the table to eat, such situation needs to be avoided. Life needs to be enjoyed and anything beyond the limit is harmful for sure.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Expect Consistent Winnings From Gambling - A Lesson I Learnt. on: April 26, 2023, 11:40:35 PM
We used to come across different gamblers winning jackpots. Looking at that we feel ourselves having similar luck and winning big money. When this changes automatically everything will be in control. Till we understand real gambling it used to be hard for us to accept loss. Once a gambler have understood, then he/she will analyse well and spend. Probably the gamblers who spend much on sports betting doesn't experience much loss compared to the gamblers spending much on casinos games.
926  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is hodling top 10 Marketcap coins a good tactic? on: April 24, 2023, 11:55:25 PM
I don't know how all the whole rating of coins work but I was wondering about those coins that are been pumped and dumped temporary by big whales of the crypto world. Just like elon musk has been doing with some shitcoins which could be very effective in terms of ratings but it would be false as its been altered by some individual.
The same isn't happening with every cryptocurrency. There are exceptions and people are used to it. When it comes to cryptocurrency we've got lot many choices and so having diversified portfolio helps in standing strong even when the market is on the downturn. Most of the cryptocurrency in the top order were of good strength, some issues have happened, but those used to be overcome by the network at the shortest.
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Favourite MEME COINS? on: April 24, 2023, 11:51:55 PM
don't dare to invest in meme coin if you are not ready for the risk, especially for long term investment, because the price of meme coin is very difficult to increase if there is no hype or there are no influencers promoting meme coin, therefore I can say if meme coin has a big risk and you are better to investing in altcoin that have a projects (investing in AI projects is the right choice).
Meme coins are not for long term.

There's only one meme coin that I know that could have been good for those that have decided to long it and that is, Dogecoin.

Those that have bought it too early and then sold it during the ATH, they're in great profit but I doubt that it will happen again for most.
  • Once after the hype of Shiba, people have come to know about it and good number of memecoin started to roll out with similar names.
  • Dogecoin is one of the earliest in the market which grew gradually. It isn't discussed much, all of the sudden got good visibility.
  • As suggested memecoins were for short term, when it comes to long term it needs to be mostly on bitcoin. If not one should have
the financial ability to withstand the loss.
928  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 24, 2023, 11:34:18 PM
Pakistan set a target of 193 runs to New Zealand which is a very good score but New Zealand are losing wickets early.  New Zealand lost 3 wickets in 5 overs and scored only 27 runs.  If they keep scoring like this, New Zealand will lose badly today.
Everyone expect a win from Pakistan but unfortunately due to some bad feilding and bowling they can't the way they want. Start of Pakistan team were little bit disappointed but later the phenomenal knock of rizwan who unluckly unable to scored his century due to lack of number of balls he got notout at the end of first inning by 98 runs. Credit of this victory goes to Chapman who perform consistently in every match of this series, now after that victory series is tied with 2-2 which is not a good indication for Pakistan team because most of newZealand main player were not available but still they draw the series
The performance from Chapman is impressive. 104 runs from 57 balls after the team is at a situation of 73/4. To his effort Neesham helped with his bat. Good performance from New Zealand team to draw the series. Pakistan could've never thought of such a turn in thr match. There are mistakes and Pakistan unable to pick wickets after giving pressure with 4 wickets at the beginning is really bad from the bowling unit. Chapman had played well throughout the series, finally the team had won thr ODI series and draw the T20 series.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: April 23, 2023, 11:59:44 PM
Everyone keeps forgetting about house edge when they talk about this, and I agree that this would be the reason why they would not be managing an AI to gamble for you. You can max the capability of an AI and create the best one, but mathematically house will always win and there is no scenario, no AI, no human, no nothing that could beat a house with 1% edge (well 1% commonly but that changes based on games and casinos).

So all in all, we are not going to see an AI do better than humans do, that's just not going to happen. I hope that it will get better one day but I bet that it will not get any better and we are going to end up seeing AI fail to be better than humans. Worst part is some people will think AI will be better and test it and lose even more money than they would normally because they trusted it too much.
I don't really understand why people are behind AI to be able to make them win when everyone clearly knows that gambling is not something that can be won if your luck is against you, an AI model can simply not be able to turn your losses into wins or your bad days into good ones since it isn't capable of doing that nor it's possible.

Gambling is about pure luck and nothing else can change that. Whether you ask the AI model to give you some strategy or make it predict the outcomes of a sports event, none of that is going to be accurate at all.
gambling would be a profitable place if one could become a bookie rather than an AI.

even though AI cannot change someone's destiny from unlucky to more fortunate, AI is able to provide any search assistance we want regarding gambling. although AI cannot provide accurate information, AI is able to help consider the final results of our predictions.
there's nothing wrong with using AI to find information about sports betting.
maybe only sports betting at this time can be considered to get winning chances using AI predictions.
That's the best part of AI. It can serve as an assistance provider which can change limit the time spent to gather information relative to a game. Apart it is our responsibility to predict the outcome based on the data. Whether you go with the AI suggestion or your choice, it is completely upto the person's luck. As mentioned an AI can never change the luck factor of a gambler. If that is possible then usage of AI to predict the outcomes will be effective. For now sports betting only can use it, as the casinos have different scripts for their games.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: April 23, 2023, 11:22:55 PM
Singapore currently needs 250 runs from 39 balls. This is obviously impossible for Singapore. They need more than 36 per over. This is obviously really great from UAE. But I have to say Singapore actually tried. Singapore probably thought that they actually would have been able to get close to the target. But they are at least going to lose by a hundred. I am actually surprised to see the target that was given by UAE. They have broken some records in my opinion.

The match ended in UAE favour. SGP played all there 50 overs and manage to score 270 runs and UAE won by 201 runs. Muhammad Waseem was man of the match for his 160 runs innings that included 16 sixes. Bowling of SGP got brutally pilunished today, Vinoth Baskaran was most economical bolwer from SGP side with bowling figures 10-0-61-2. Manpreet Singh and Thilipan Omaidurai are only two batsmen from SGP that scored fifties.
Baskaran is the most economical for Singapore against the UAE team. The team should analyse and improve the bowling skills. The Singapore team's batting is better, because it is really impossible to chase such a huge target, and somehow they were able to reaxh 270 runs in 50 overs. These days the players of every team have begun to go with aggresive shots same as how they play with T20 format cricket. Even in test matches we were able to experience it. This could give confidence for UAE against the other teams and for Singapore this will be learning to prepare themselves for better result.

The next match is between Saudi Arabia and Nepal. Both the teams have won in the previous match against Qatar and Oman. This match seems to be closer than other matches and the high chance of winning is with Nepal.
931  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 23, 2023, 10:58:35 PM
Gamble with the amount of money that you can afford to lose. If you can afford to lose $2000, then you can gamble with it. If you see gambling as a way of making money, that is the worst indiscipline that you have in gambling, never depend on gambling at all other than seeing it as fun and entertainment and not going beyond that.
There’s no certainty in gambling and that you can make a $100 each day, if you do that it’s like you are living your life trying to believe of what is unbelievable. The truth is, gambling is to make you lose, the more you bet, the more you lose, that’s why it’s better to gamble an amount you can afford to lose, and never see gambling as one source of income, it should always be considered just for fun and entertainment.

Indeed. But, I think someone can really achieve these $100 daily profit if we would consider a daily average of profit rather than daily monetary value of the profit. We can never deny that every day isn't your day, it is not always that luck is on your side. But, I think of we can make a strategical decisions in gambling, we can achieve certain amount of profit that is when we view it in let's say in weekly average, we can see that it is possible to achieve that amount. But, gambling is still a game of luck, so no guarantee still no matter what.

Luck is the major factor and everytime we can't be lucky enough and should have the patience to execute different strategies that assure with the winning. As suggested, average weekly winning is possible with the said balance, because to earn around $15 everyday with $2k is possible. Even this have got the risk, because gamblers always lose the temper when the unexpected loss happens. By the time taking a break will keep them on the safer side, but the mind never think of taking rest. Loss is unstoppable, and luck is unpredictable based on what is our wins.
932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 23, 2023, 10:42:04 PM
~This was a good win for RCB against RR. After all, RR is the best team this season so far. In the end the match did end up getting very close. It was certainly very enjoyable for the fans. Toward the later part of the match, I thought RCB would do it once again. I thought they would lose this match. But they ended up defending quite well.
RR started the season with some strong performance but in the past few games they are completely messing up the chases as they are struggling to assign the batting position for certain players and then they are loosing wickets during crucial situation and loosing balls which is not helping their case either.

Was expecting Shimron Hetmyer to stay till the end but he was run out while wasting too many balls. Coaching staff needs to focus on preparing them to pace the innings if they need to start chasing totals again.
Losing crucial wickets is the prime reason. In today's match we were able to see this happen with the wickets of Padikkal, Jaiswal and Sanju Samson. If those wickets have extended for few more overs, atleast they could've brought the match under their control. Bowlers contributed good at the end overs, and failure of batsman too a reason. Hetmyer managed to score 3 runs of 9 balls at the end overs. The team that is at the strong position have started to experience continued loss. The team needs to find their mistakes and correct at the earliest.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indian Premier League #IPL on: April 23, 2023, 06:03:53 PM
~
I would say that Punjab Kings played well and they did not let Mumbai Indian take away this match. Only 16 runs were needed by Mumbai Indians to win this match in the last over. However, Arshdeep Singh bowled the best ever over and took tow wickets of  Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera by broking the middle stump. What a sight to watch  Smiley

Playing first, Punjab Kings scored 214 runs which was always going to be enough if they bowled well and they deservingly win this match.
Not to forget the innings of Sam Curran  he made a quick 55 runs in only 29 balls.
Punjab Kings team played well and Mumbai Indians were quite strong to chase the target. For Punjab Kings team the score that came from 16th over bowled by Arjun Tendulkar is very important. 31 runs came in that over and he levels the most expensive over bowled in IPL 2023 along with Yash Dayal. The bowler of Gujarat Titans wasn't given any more opportunity after thr last over bowled against KKR.

In the match Punjab Kings were well taken forward by Sam Curran amidst the rest of Shikhar Dhawan who is much dependent by the team.

Crude oil consumption has reached a peak and now the exports from Saudi Arabia are declining. The prices are struggling in the $80-$90 per barrel range, and this is despite all the production cuts being implemented by the OPEC+. Saudis are more intelligent when compared to some of their neighboring states. They don't have any other natural resources apart from oil, and they know that they will be in trouble once the EVs replace gasoline and diesel driven vehicles. But then the question arises. Can this big spending on cricket be justified? Without the Indian players, I don't know how they are going to make any sort of profits.

There is cricket in other countries also apart from India and there are leagues running successfully without Indian players. Already there are rumors that Saudi Arabia's cricket league plan could ruin India's IPL party. We need to see final plan of that cricket league before making a conclusion that it will be in profit or loss. This league if held will be beneficial for Pakistani players that are banned from participating in IPL. In fact it will help in breaking monoply of BCCI.
I always wonder what will happen to billions of dollars that are earned by KSA due to Oil export but are residing in USA banks?
We can't be conclusive before the plan gets executed. It isn't easy to defeat the success of IPL. Through years and number of seasons it have turned to be one among the top league of the world. Saudi Arabia have got different plans and the execution and success will break the control of BCCI over cricket. In all means BCCI will try to keep things under control. This is a big opportunity for the Pakistan players to enjoy a big league and I'm sure the pay will be really high as the spending on the league is really big. Already Saudi Arabia wants to come away from the control of USA, and these activities too can support in their agenda.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 22, 2023, 11:46:26 PM
Any strategy in gambling cannot be justified even though it is a martingale strategy that really requires a large bankroll and sometimes gamblers who have large bankrolls will still lose with the martingale strategy.
It's all because the casino knows how to win and any strategy we use will be useless unless we are lucky.
So there is truth in what you say that the best choice to win is to gamble for fun.
Yes, even with larger bankrolls, that's not going to guarantee that they'll leave the casino happily. It's more of an emotional battle and no one knows if that's going to be a good sign for them to stay because they've been winning. But the thought of having a large pool of funds and bankrolls will make them stay confident that they'll not go out of the casino sad but instead, with some huge money from their winnings. And if it is with this strategy, take all of those people that have said that it didn't work for them because it didn't.
Maybe once in 100 tries Martingale strategy works but mostly it fails. Trying over and over but getting same loss streaks aka busting all balance at the end means something is wrong that has been explained on this thread. Leaving casino happy means strategy by gambler has worked somehow no matter it was Martingale or different money management method. Regardless of bankroll, player can't keep doubling each loss bet, it is recipe for failure, IMHO.
The lucky ones will win few attempts. I personally have tried martingale strategy several times and I've experienced massive losses out of it. In particular I've lost more than 10 consecutive rolls several times. This is our unlucky day. If we've used some other money management maybe we could've won something, if not atleast we could've avoided rhe loss. Casino always have got the edge, if not everyone will somehow manage the bankroll and make the gambling platform go bankrupt. We should have the common understanding, gambling is fun and we should take it in the same way than complicating it.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: April 22, 2023, 11:16:22 PM
At first I thought is power than anything, later on I said it's should be economic resources, then I realizes is money. I will give a brief poem here! The breeze blew and stake moistures and when it blew hales, it was just the breeze moving while the moistures is running away with fears.

The mist of human fears is control by what is next to their breath. Money has power than anything, money makes one feels secure, alive and superior. When money leaves we felt life is gone, we feel dead, we feel empty, we feel hopeless.

Currently my country government has turn humans to museum, moving without no direction, helpless and monuments because for over 3 months now the government has seized to release money in circulation, banks refused to fix money in ATM's, no canter payment.
Everyone is helpless, no money no good food, no transportation, no job, no love, no smiles, no good health.

Money drives away every feelings that makes life better. Money is truly powerful
Because we cannot get the other things without it. Money can give more power to the government, if you have power you will have more confident and you cannot be easily swayed by others. Money is very essential to human beings, it can build and it can also punish. We need to set our minds that we need to manage our emotions towards money, and there's a life outside of it.
The system have made human minds to prioritise money over everything. When the requirements change, people gets moving along with it. In such a way the system have moved from the bartender method to the cryptocurrency era. If we were to follow the bartender method, even now human could've been valued than the money every people hold, because we exchange what we cultivate in the farms for what others grow in their farms. This exchange is ro fulfill our stomach, later slowly lifestyle changes along with transition in the monetary system made people start running for money. This finally ended with no value for human life, and gave importance to people based on the money the person holds.
937  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin was to be physical product? on: April 22, 2023, 11:11:20 PM
Myself hadn't got any thoughts on whether it had got physical presence or not, simply I believed in it and tried with a transaction and I enjoyed it. Further started to understand well about the interesting things associated, along with the goodness of growth. At the beginning while hearing about it everyone will have a question how does it can hold value without have its physical presence. Slowly we'll understand and the best things will happen further. Very important thing then only we'll find what additional expenses every government is going through with the printing of currencies. Anyhow the need of physical currency lasts forever as everyone can't go digital as the people aren't prepared for it. Maybe after generations things might change.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to convince a sceptical person to buy Bitcoin ? on: April 22, 2023, 11:04:48 PM
Although within this community Bitcoin is practically the only currency in which everyone believes, just look around a bit and we will find thousands of people who think otherwise.
At this point I wonder, what reasons should we give these people to make them realise that Bitcoin is a right choice? The first argument that comes to mind to convince a person who is sceptical about Bitcoin, is first of all that with Bitcoin you no longer need to delegate the custody of your money to a third party (banks, mutual funds, etc.): you are the master and you hold them. What else would you add?
You know, people who have nature’s way of being skeptic will still end up being skeptical no matter how you educate them. So never waste your time convincing them, just wait until they become ready to be educated and start trusting bitcoin. If they won’t reach that point, I guess that’s not our loss but theirs. Soon they will regret missing an opportunity when it’s already in front of them just waiting to be taken advantage.
On hearing a word, there are people who believe in it. Same time there are people who keep on finding flaws and stay skeptic for no reason. It is our duty to just educate what we have come through and what all we've experienced in terms of profit as well as the risk associated with it. Later part is to be left for them whether to believe and get into the market or just stay away finding flaws. There are people who can't be satisfied through any means, because they're being grown in such a way that you shouldn't believe anyone.
939  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 21, 2023, 11:59:43 PM
They are always going to be a very important country economically in the whole world. We all know that the big countries all around the world are always buying oil from them. And previously that’s why they have always been very important economically. But now as they have made the country open to visit for people all around the world, they are also earning money in that way.

Honestly, I don’t think this much money being spent on cricket is actually justifiable when Indian players are not playing in the tournament. We know that Indian players are the ones who bring the most amount of revenue for cricket right now. So it is probably not the best idea to exclude Indian players from a tournament where a lot of money like this is going to be spent.

But on the other hand, if this is successful, it is also going to be a reality check for the Indian cricket board.
When it comes to cricket, India is the biggest market. The success of IPL is through the population that goes behind cricket same as that we see western population going behind football. Without India, rest of the Asian countries will give hands. Even with India, it is mentioned that the current players won't be allowed play on the league. Maybe the players who had played for India in the past can get good opportunity. This is completely a commercial initiative from the government, maybe that's the reason why Indian players were denied.
940  Economy / Gambling / Re: Without money, does it still qualify as gambling? on: April 21, 2023, 11:55:47 PM
In my opinion.

Everything you do, activity and other think on the casino are gambling. You're not gambling now, but there has some chance you are gonna to gambling soon in the future. The temptation are high, If you are stay on gambling sector.

So, I call it gambling. It's promotion, you get free money soon you're losing then are gonna triggered you to deposit.
For me, the only reason why you call it gambling is because you are gambling an amount that you may lose or win in the end. If there’s no money waiting as a reward, or any thing that has a value, I don’t think it can be considered gambling. Though we may say everything we do that is uncertain can be called gambling, but gambling in casinos is a different thing, it comes with rewards or losses in the end.
When money involved it turns to be real gambling. When we play without money, then it turns to be a game same as that we play on our smartphone. When we play with money we have different experience and when we play without money we have fun moment as our mind will be free to play as the outcome doesn't affect us in any means.
