Op must have a reason to do it but op did edit the thread so op did some changes. It is a lot of work to complete the list and ratings. I wonder what is the basis of giving the ratings. For some reason there is a casino on the list that have some issues but it's sister site is not even included.
Please post book(s) that are omitted. Thanks

I look at numerous forums to research books. I also read the dedicated thread of each book here. The first time that anything was posted about the closing of Bitcoinrush was June 10th. On June 16th Flagship made me aware of it. I try to keep the ratings current. As pointed out in the post above, other guides are checked to see if there's an obvious error.

Criteria used to rate a book.

1. Security - getting paid is by far most important.

2. Working with the forum. This is a player's thread and books are held responsible for their actions. Questions are asked of books concerning number of employees, time in business, experience, poster problems, etc. If a book is going to ignore a player's thread, they will be severely downgraded. Most books are very easy to work with. There is one book that still hasn't replied concerning a problem with a player. If there isn't a reply, this is going to hurt the book. That said, this thread isn't going to used for arbitration since it's a no win situation.

The following cannot be quantified as to importance since being highly detrimental in one category may supersede other criteria used.

3. Poster review - poster review is much more important at bitcointalk than other forums, but other forums are also read. A high review from a new book will weigh less than the review of a book that's been in existence 2+ years.

4. Anonymous - one of the reasons that bitcoin books are used is to stay anonymous. There may be times where it is necessary to question players but it should be a minimum.

5. Margins - If players are going to have a chance to beat a book the margins have to be tight enough to give us that chance. If the margins are larger than -110 (1.91) that's a big blow to a book's rating.

6. Payout speed - If the average is longer than one hour, a book will be downgraded. One hour is sufficient due to possible grading errors. A large book is dealing with a significant amount of money along with a huge player base.

7. Markets - The more betting options, the better.

8. Traffic  - time in business along with amount of players that a book has gives us a large sample size.

9. Currencies used - It's easier on the player if we are allowed to deposit and withdraw from alts.

Miscellaneous - Books accepting fiat currencies are omitted from the guide. Other forums are read to make sure the ratings here aren't significantly out of line with the average of other books.

I'll post the criteria used for ratings after this post here. I do check other rating guides here at BCT to see if there may be something that I'm missing. Here is the average of three different guides:

1. Nitrogen
2. Betcoin
3. Bitcoinrush
4. Cloudbet
5. 1xbit

Nitrogen is the #1 rated book on the 3 other guides at BCT. Betcoin is #2, #3 and #4 (5 but bitcoinrush still there).

For a while, Peeps had a non existing book graded A, so I wouldnt read that much into his ratings. (I had to point it out to him.)
His thread is the oldest but also the most outdated.
There are, clearly better options then Betcoin and Nitrogen to choose from.

He uses the "Sportsbet accepts fiat currencies" excuse anytime people question why there is no Sportsbet on his ratings.
Im just curious if Sportsbet accepts fiat currencies, why were they on his list to begin with?   Huh
Thats a big red flag on his ratings if you ask me.

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/981e9Qi.jpg[/img]
I wouldn't really consider it that bad, I mean sure it looks a bit outdated with nitrogen being higher but he just doesn't want to rank them according to his own thinking and depending on what people are saying. So, do you see anyone here trying to work for the ranking? Not like there are hundreds of people constantly voting for the websites.

I would say the best way to do this for peeps would be to open a website of sorts that has a weekly contest on who is the best sportsbook and that way we could have winners of each week and the top three on the website constantly promoting themselves thanks to getting votes.

However this method of asking people on the forum to post what they think about the sportsbooks are not getting too much attention and that is why he can't change it.
very good points although the ratings are up to date.

I want to be honest with you, I am not affiliated with them and I do not want to hurt their chances or anything. However, I feel like sportsbet.io should be here. Good odds, unique and never to be seen anywhere else give always, awesome promotions, great odd increases and boosts, all the games I can think of is there and they offer a lot of lines on each of the games as well. I would say they are one of the best in the business and I am not even talking about purely crypto, I am talking about in general.

In a day when even nitrogen and others are slowly becoming more mundane and not doing anything new and yes they are great and trustworthy but just boring and nothing new, these guys keep promoting themselves by giving out so many stuff and keep the interest at peak with games you can play like poker and so forth to be constantly there. I really don't know the real reason why they are not here, but I feel like they do deserve it if you ask me.

They used to be in the list afaik then they got removed, probably lack of responses and maybe the last post was outdated already which is reasonable. Eventually they should get rated once Peeps reads your post.
Sportsbet always put out so many promotions but mostly it's from casinos though, also cashouts are very limited. One thing I really like about sportsbet is their esports lines are always updated compared to stake

Sportsbet was originally a crypto only book. They were taken down after they started accepting fiat currency.

Bitcoinrush wasn't rated an "A" when taken down. They were an "A" at one time. Bitcoinrush was a "B" rated book when you pointed out that they were no longer in business. Thanks for that and for all others that post here.

Nitrogen and Betcoin are strong books. They have been in business since 2013 without every having not paid someone. They are both open to communication and will correspond with any problem that's brought to their attention. All books were asked if they wanted to have a table with all markets offered. Only Nitrogen, Betcoin and Bitcoinrush replied. Betcoin normally pays within 15 minutes and Nitrogen normally pays at the top of each hour.

To get an "A" rating, one requirement is to have the sportsbook in business for at least two years. There are many books that have gone under in the first two years and many more will go under. Security is the number one criteria in rating a book.

Thanks for the post SquallLeonhart. Sportsbet.io was on the list at one time but they where taken off because they accept fiat currencies. The sportsbook list is for crypto-currency only books.

I know that alot of people read Peeps posts so I thought I would hijack it for one second.

We are now streaming more than 70% of the racing that we offer.  So we offer nearly 220000 Races per year 150000 of them with live streams.

If you wish to watch racing you can head over to mbet.io and providing that you have a funded account you can watch all the live action.

Cheers
Thanks for the post Shaun. Books are free to post a promo now and then.

I think a C- is fair for the time being. Despite their success in the online casino industry, the Stake.com sportsbook is relatively new. The events that have unfolded so far in 2020 certainly don't help their case, but it'll be interesting to see how Stake.com's sportsbook fares once all these leagues start up again. My personal prediction is that we'll see their grade increase by the end of Q4 2020.

Full disclosure, I have Stake ranked as my #4 Best Online Casino (out of 65), #3 Best Dice Site (out of 13), and #2 Best Crash Gambling Site (out of 4). I don't have them ranked at all [yet] in my Best Online Sportsbook category (out of 28).
I have to say, I hoped stake would get better and become better, because lets face it they are one of the better casinos in the crypto world, they really didn't improved at all. Sportsbook side didn't really start that well and I kinda accepted it, after all they are getting into sportsbook part very quickly.

However the thing was I was also hoping them getting better as well, I was hoping over time everything will smooth. Yet looking at it now, they are having trouble with live betting and causing people to forfeit their bets or lose them or at least even if they end up winning they just got lucky with no help of stake. So, I would say it is high time to drop their rating for sure. I would say something like  D would be fine, they are already at C- but at least requires a D or maybe even F for causing people to lose money for their own mistakes.
sana- Thanks for the update. It's appreciated. Anyone else with opinions on Stake or Jetwin?

Jetwin dropped from C+ to D+. There are multiple reports of pending payouts. Jetwin hasn't replied to email. Jetwin has been down on multiple occasions throughout the years but has always paid out. Hopefully this is just a hiccup due to the lack of sports and all will be paid. If anyone is playing at Jetwin, please post your experience there.

Peeps Place would you please be kind enough to explain how you can give a offline casino a B+ rating?   This is very misleading and not looked highly up on.

Flagship - Thanks for the update and I apologize for the oversight on my part. Changes will be made and I'll inquire further concerning bitcoinrush..

Stake is already labeled at the C- mark so I don't know what else to say, that is a good place to put them in right now. But I have been talking with them and with this sudden return of sports back on and with the other places making big promotions and great stuff, it comes to light that they haven't been up to par with many of the other places just yet. While other places have done multis, extra odds, promotions, giveaways and the likes, they have been just watching.

I am not entirely sure if they will do something good enough in the future, I am sure they will do something but I mean being a bit late does hurt your chances to get customers as well. People see that you put the games back on the menu, but never offer anything, so they go to places that does. However looking at that C-, they are already not getting too much love anyway, so I guess that is enough.

I think a C- is fair for the time being. Despite their success in the online casino industry, the Stake.com sportsbook is relatively new.
