961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency, it's a store of value on: April 04, 2020, 10:14:35 AM
I can't agree that Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency. Yes, it has certain issues and transactions speed is one of them. However, there is a room for progress and many people use Bitcoin as a currency and payment method, including me. I don't believe that Bitcoin is made only to sit idle in some wallet without being used in real world for real purposes.
962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON SPORTS GAMBLING on: April 03, 2020, 08:44:00 PM
Coronavirus impact on sports gambling and our life is so powerful, that I can't even find right words..

But actually we still have online poker and games. So let's stick to the quarantine guidelines, stay at home and not put others at risk. By the way, I am also at risk, I have chronic heart disease and asthma.
Day by Day, the number of victims increases in a fast way,and during that time we are really  close to being so slow from preventing it to spread among the community. But as for the current time each country are getting back to normal so we can expect that sports gambling will continue as soon as possible as they can.

Some dice and card games aren't  really sufficient in gamblers who really used to bet on sports.

I don't think we are getting back to normal. Many countries still have the high number of.infected people and this situation might last for a while, to my opinion at least one more month.
All major sport everts are cancelled and that definetely impacts the sport gambling, the choice for players isn't that big and attractive. But I guess we need to adjust, it's not like we have a choice.
963  Economy / Economics / Re: What N America and Europe need to start on now! on: April 03, 2020, 05:35:42 PM
I think there will be many calls for this. They will eventually fade away. What will happen is some concerted stockpiling. And then that'll get sold off or forgotten about. That's how humans roll. We carry on improvising until it's too late. I can't see that changing.

I guess the real test is dealing with the economic wreckage. No one knows how bad that will be or what the effects will be. Perhaps it will inspire some sort of sea change. I ain't holding my breath.

Everything depends how long the crisis will last but I don't expect that something will change in dramatic way. People have very short memory and as soon as everything gets back to normal, people will forget everything they cry out now.
Economy will suffer the worst and that will leave deep trace but again some will use this situation for their own benefit, both countries and individuals.
964  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are having the difficult time, are you still a Bitcoin HODL? on: April 03, 2020, 02:12:58 PM
How Bitcoin will develope it's always very hard to predict and especialy in situations that we are having now.
Price will continue to fluctuate, that is my opinion and in the few following weeks I don't expect to see major changes neither in.positive or in negative way.
However, I will continue to.hold certain amount of Bitcoin, that is kind of my back up.
965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the safest crypto online games to start if you are a Newbie? on: April 02, 2020, 07:27:01 PM
To my opinion there isn't such thing as safe gambling game. Everything it's only up to you, how you behave, do you know your limits and when to stop.
If you can't control yourself and you are reckless everything is risk for you and you can generate loss than you can't recover from.
966  Economy / Economics / Re: What China is hiding from us and are they doing it to save their economy? on: April 02, 2020, 05:24:45 PM
We can't guarantee that China is saying the truth. Nobody knows the actual truth and hence nobody can say if China is behind this or not.
Talking about personal opinions, I think that Yes China must be faking the numbers because I saw in the news that more than 50K cell phone numbers have gone dormant recently which obviously gives us doubts about China faking the numbers. Beijing not having even a single Covid-19 case is another reason why I think China must be behind this. Also, China has been recovering too soon which makes me think if they really have the vaccine.
May be China planned all of this or may be not but it surely did start from China and it shouldn't have. We should never forgive China for this.

I'm not so.sure that China is to blame because of everything. Yes, they maybe aren't telling the whole truth but which country is? When it comes to situations like we have now every country is hidiing something.
Also, there are some theories that China is victim in the whole situation and that virus was actually planted to them.
I don't support conspiracy theories and I'm not taking anyone's side here but the medal  always has two sides.
967  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Every BTC trader should use it on: April 02, 2020, 01:47:55 PM
Informations are always welcomed. However with such a wide range of available sites that offer different kind of data and analysis it's hard to choose which one to take into considerations. That is why is always good to have some references and recommendations.
No matter to that I don't like to fully rely on such sites in trading, I use them more as a guidlines and I try to fit that into my knowledge and experience.
968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will the gambling addicts do now that the casinos have closed? on: April 01, 2020, 04:10:11 PM
What will most gambling addicts do when they can no longer gamble at casinos, and what do you think they'll do when the casinos reopen in several months from now? Will most of them be finally cured of their gambling addiction, or will most of them return to their old ways?
Ofcourse they will only play gambling in online casinos, especially now that online casino accepting deposit also thru creditcards thats why i think they will make this as alternative way while virus still spreading.

Of course, for true addicted gamblers it.doesn't realy matter as long as they can play. It's true that some love atmosphere in casinos but most of them will adjust to online casinos, that is their opportunity to stay in play. Some might not even turn to casinos once they open again.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODLers, spend your BTC on: April 01, 2020, 11:43:34 AM
People need to.decide for themselves what to do. Every Bitcoin user has different goals and different reasons why he's dealing with Bitcoin at first place.
For me the best option is combination of holding and spending.
I think that Bitcoin was created with purpose to be used in real life for real things, that is why isn't good just to keep it in some wallet indefinetely.
On the other hand by holding Bitcoin on longer period of time you have chances for further profit and also it can be used as savings, so the balance between holding and spending is the key.
970  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is better than Holding on: March 31, 2020, 07:57:32 PM
That depends what type of investor you are and what are your skills and knowledge.
If you want active involvment in Bitcoin where your actions contribute to your profit or loss and you have enough skills, knowledge and time then trading is for you.
If you are more passive, you don't like risk and don't know exactly how to start trading and what to do then you are more holding type.
Both of these options have good sides and bad sides and to my opinion combination of these two is the best.
971  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL HODL HODL...AND BUY MORE on: March 31, 2020, 06:31:38 PM
Well, I don't like telling other people what to.do, everyone needs to make decision for himself.
Different people have different goals with Bitcoin, everyone of them made purchase in different time, maybe someone needs money or other plans.
For me the key is balance between holding and spending, I don't see much sense for Bitcoin just to sit idle in some wallet, endlessly. And of course, every situation when the price is favourable is the good opportunity to enlarge your portfolio.

973  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Privacy in Bitcoin on: March 31, 2020, 03:57:55 PM
If you compare Bitcoin now with the time when it first appeared we can see that it has lost a great deal of privacy. Transactions have become more traceable.and users easier to identify, KYC has become the standard.
However, that doesn't mean that privacy is completely lost, it's still bigger than in dealing with fiat money but you can't stay completely anonimous anymore, there are ways and methods for identification, at least in one part.
974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among us here has been addicted but successfully cured addiction? on: March 30, 2020, 09:03:14 PM
I read that there are people who are addicted in gambling but they are successfully cured from addiction, I'm interested to know what are the methods they do in order to get cured from such addiction, I use the word cured because gambling is a serious problem, I call it as a disease, so please share you experience so we can also help those who might have been experiencing an addiction right now.
To be honest, i experienced gambling addiction a long time ago, but i already cured myself with a help of one of my friends and family members that i change my hobbies by just playing sports and working out just to keep myself busy. Honestly, i still gamble in a online gambling site only for leisure time and entertainment just to avoid myself from getting addicted again.

This is very brave that you have managed to achieve. Personaly I wasn't addicted but some of people I know were and some of them haven't managed to fight addiction even with professional help. Sooner or later gambling won again.
But I guess the help and support of your friends and family were the key and that was your advantage, not everyone has that. Enjoy gambling for fun, just always be aware of your limits.
975  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: March 30, 2020, 03:17:43 PM
Initially I do not believe in conspiracies, but second thought on this issue made me to ask why is it that Russia is not affected like other countries we all know that both China and Russia always vote together on issues because they are thick as thief.

I also don't believe in conspiracy theories and Russia is also very affected but they don't do much testing and they don't reveal the real numbers as well as some other countries.
Chinese are very known for their discipline and obedience and that is one of the keys in situations like this.
They've already started to rebuild their production and economy and once more Europe and US will stay behind.
976  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fiat money's richest vs Bitcoin's richest on: March 30, 2020, 10:23:40 AM
I think that exact list of Bitcoin richest people can't be done. Many of them are anonimous or they don't reveal the exact amount of coins they have and many Bitcoin addresses don't belong to individuals. So, there are no.exact and complete data.
With fiat money is much more easier and these people are usualy more exposed in public so information are not so hidden.
977  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why is everyone expecting continuous growth? on: March 29, 2020, 05:38:40 PM
It's not realistic to expect continuous growth. Bitcoin is volatile by nature and price ups and downs are part if the cycle.
Some think that halving will raise the price up, some believe that corona virus crisis will also affect Bitcoin price in positive way. The fact is that this is hard to predict and you definetely can't count on that as a fact.
978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: March 29, 2020, 12:32:01 PM
To be honest I think that is rather stupid to count on gambling profit to ensure your financial security.
Even if you are a good gambler with minimum losses that will not last forever. Especialy because many gamblers don't know when to stop and when it's enough.
Gambling can be fun and additional source of income but definetely not the primar source of finances.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why not we donate some Bitcoin for corona virus? on: March 29, 2020, 09:08:36 AM
Many countries and organizations have opened different chanels for donations to fight corona virus or for research for vactination. Just be very careful, there are also many scam attempts too, in such situation there are always people who want to make money on other peoples' misery.
Do good research and background check before you make any donation.
980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does good side of gambling overcomes its negative side? on: March 28, 2020, 09:24:59 PM
It cannot be a good source of income because number of people losing bets will be lot better than the one who wins so only few can make money on rare occasions so don't make it as source of income which can make you go bankrupt sooner than you expected.

Gambling isn't supposed to be a source of income at all, some people just look at it at wrong way. Gambling should be fun and some additional money source but definetely not something that you should regulary count on.
As long as you can keep that balance you can also be on.a positive side and you will not feel the negative consequences.
Once you cross the border and gambling comes into the circle of losses and additiction that runs your life, you are lost.
