961  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC needed for retirement in 10 years? on: March 22, 2023, 04:33:08 PM
I think 10 BTC and 100 ETH would set you up for good, so once that is reached, I would stop accumulating, what is your plan?
With the market rushing and coming to a bull run, this is more than enough for me.

It depends on your lifestyle and the cost of living of where you are right now. But for me, wherever I'd go, this is already good and more than enough for me to have a good life while on a retirement.

I'd spend that with different businesses and will still hold a lot from that amount so that I'll also be prepared for the very next bull run that's inevitable to come.
962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth could perform better due to deflationary on: March 21, 2023, 07:42:44 PM
Given the problem of deflation, I think bitcoin vs pow is the best place to fight inflation, which for me is still better than removing more focus on eth.
Deflation isn't a problem and what makes bitcoin as the best asset to fight inflation is due to its supply limit and rewards being cut in half on the miners through halving.

The trend of ETH will continue to depend on bitcoin.  ETH will still perform as well as it does now, but without having to depend on deflation and probably not.
It's true, it's still depending on bitcoin no matter how good the upgrades are. But for those that are not confident, then just take both of them on your portfolios.

That's the type of diversification that everyone should have because it's securing you. You've got bitcoin as it moves the market very well and you've got ETH to diversify since it's also one of the biggest market movers that we've got here.
963  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoin hold, sell or trade?? on: March 21, 2023, 05:17:50 PM
holding bitcoin is the top choice in crypto, trading altcoins to increase btc stock
why do I say that,  because the movement of altcoins is sometimes in a short time, but here we are required to have accuracy in making decisions, wrong steps to make decisions, our money will be lost
As long as your trades are more with winning than losses and that's a sign that you're doing good. Yeah, for altcoins, you can use them to have day trades.

While having bitcoin, it's a normal thing to have it for long term holding and that's the biggest part of our investments which is the main priority for having our portfolios.

Do buy low and sell high and this logic and tip is known to everybody and yet, many does the opposite.
964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Give one reason to pay via cryptocurrency payment getaways? on: March 21, 2023, 12:43:33 PM
I've read somewhere that those payment gateways really are charging a lot from those businesses. That's why many of them just prefer to do bank transfers and cash payments.

Whilst for crypto, they can also accept payments from it directly without thinking that a company will benefit from the payment system because they only have to pay the transaction fee which is too little and goes forward to the miners if it's for bitcoin payments.

And for the altcoin payments, they're not really much of a concern because they're not a lot and just a few cents to cover the transfers.
965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which exchanger do you recommend to convert btc to eth? on: March 20, 2023, 06:12:13 PM
Additionally, while it is crucial to be cautious of scam exchange platforms, I suggest that it's not always enough to rely solely on customer feedback and reviews on sites like YouTube or Trustpilot.
I agree on you this one.

There could be paid videos made to destroy a reputation but at the same time, the opposite is also possible with it that there can be videos and reviews paid to make an exchange or service become better in the eyes of those potential customers.

It's never enough to rely to one reviews website and YT isn't really a good place when it's about questioning the reputation of an exchange that you'll use.

OP never come back after asking this question so, expecting this thread to be locked soon.
966  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do we manage our crypto trading strategy on: March 20, 2023, 05:11:02 PM
When I don't take a short term trade in the market I usually trade it for the long term. Because I know that in long term trading the amount of profit can be much higher than the loss. Moreover, trading for long term reduces the risk. As I am new here I think it is best for me to trade through long term holding.
If you're good in long term then you don't have to change anything and the same goes for the short term trades.

An investor can make any strategy as per their choice.
And traders as well. But for most investors like me, I'm choosing to stay long term because that's the best strategy that I've come up with as a hassle free strategy.

I'm not sure with the others but this has proven a lot to me but as you trade, that you might come with something else.
967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What if its falls! Will altcoin survive? on: March 20, 2023, 04:15:35 PM
It is not entirely true that I see that BTC represents the development of the Blockchain from the beginning, so its appearance is a testament to the development process later.
But there's the truth with it that if it's not about bitcoin, the introduction to the blockchain technology was much faster and easier. But it is more with the altcoin projects that this technology have been spread and became more popular.

Describe it as the process of growing a tree, when you plant a seed waiting to germinate, and here btc that seed, after time the tree grows to have branches, leaf, flowers, and fruits. And those who come later only look at things like the fruit, flowers, branches, leaf of that tree, but if they ignore the original seed, they won't see anything.
That's why no matter what people are telling about how an altcoin project is good, everyone will agree that bitcoin shall remain and it's the investment that everyone is longing for because it can't just be ignored by anyone.
968  Economy / Economics / Re: A warm welcome from the Taiwan Crypto Industry on the new regulations. on: March 20, 2023, 12:02:06 PM
At least they're open and has got measure because of what happened to FTX. It's good to see that they're open to crypto but I'm sure that those citizens that has a lot of investments through NFTs are disappointed.

Needless to say, truly a welcoming development and this is what we like. But again, if we come to realize it, these has to happen and things will be regulated on this decentralized market.
969  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Bitcoin services do we need for mass adoption? on: March 19, 2023, 10:32:28 PM
How about the banks simply put it that way that they're also having some services that support bitcoin deposits and withdrawals? It may seem odd to us because we know that we can be our own bank by holding it.

But for those people that still don't have the whole trust in bitcoin but trust the banking system, it's like a good gateway for them to be introduced to bitcoin through these banks.

Like those institutions that do offer bitcoin trust although there's already that has an existing company that does it but for the majority of the retailing banks, it will give mass adoption vibes.
970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: March 19, 2023, 09:42:04 PM
While investing in altcoins, there are many things to consider including the type of project you are investing in.What is its position in the market?  What will be the future use of this project?  Also, what is the roadmap for this token? How tokens are distributed۔What is the total market cap and circulating supply?Because while such coins can give you great returns, there are also risks that they can sink your capital.
Those factors that you've mentioned are mostly ignored by those investors that look at the usual things that are needed to be listed down.

They go down quickly to those altcoins that they want to buy because of what they've seen from other investors that had made such a great gain with those.

Bitcoin is a token that you can fully trust and invest your capital without fear.
Bitcoin isn't a token.
971  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you advice a new trader to join a trading community or group? on: March 19, 2023, 08:39:10 PM
As a trader, things can get difficult and discouraging if you cannot relate with any other person who will have a good understanding of what you are saying concerning trading, to solve that challenge, are you part of any trading community or group that you share tips and new strategies? What other ways can you say you have benefited from being in a community asides sharing of tips and strategies. Are you doing better than when you did things on your own. Can there be any major disadvantage being a member of such a trading groups? What is your advice to people?
I was part of it and got inactive.

Two things that I've seen in these trading communities.

1. It's inevitable to see some sales pitches and plugs on that group especially if it's coming from the admin or moderator of that group. That's how they make money from it.

2. There are legitimate talks about trading and many discussions are just for free. But as someone who trades before, you can determine which ones are the shill and genuine talks.

I think I'm better without part of those active community trading, the forum is more than enough to look at those great traders sharing their experiences.
972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects come out when bull market begin. on: March 19, 2023, 07:34:13 PM
Hello i just want to ask if i you guys also notice when the bitcoin rise there are also a lot of new projects come out and if bitcoin fall there are only few projects build, is it because some projects developer notice that most of the successful projects are build in bull market and most of the projects build on bear market are failed? Or they don't care about bull and bear market and they build thier project because the time is already been set?
The best projects don't care about bull or bear market trends as long as they launch them on time and based on their time table, that's what's important to them.

However, there's the significance of releasing a project during the bull run because every investor has got a lot of money to invest and every project has got a lot of money to make.

That's why many projects do come during the bull market because it's tested during bear markets that it's not an effective time to release anything about them.
973  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does a Morning Routine have any Effect as a Day Trader? on: March 18, 2023, 11:49:38 AM
I wouldn't call myself a day trader but for my programming job, I always feel much more motivated when I start my day with my gym workout. I feel especially productive in the morning after I've worked out.
In any job, I think there's a significance why we're feeling that we're better after we wake up. Our minds are clear and just came from a long rest.

When I don't feel being well, I just take a sleep or a power nap because for me, that's like a pill that makes me feel better and giving time for my brain to rest.

This isn't just about old folk things but it's a strategy for anything that we do to be more efficient.
974  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you say about this investment plan on: March 18, 2023, 09:53:44 AM
if you are still not sure then I should advise you not to invest because your mind is not calm. Just be patient and wait for your mind to settle, but if you have no concerns about other projects maybe you can try it out there, but do your usual research before investing.
Yeah, I agree.

If you're very unsure with what you're about to do just don't proceed and follow your feeling. It could miss an opportunity in the future when you go back to that project.

But it's better to remove that uncertainty that you've got as it could also lose you more money in the long run. Somehow, it's better to just miss any possible opportunity if the project itself right now is bothering you.
975  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the increase in the price of Bitcoin? on: March 18, 2023, 08:50:30 AM
We've got having two source of printing, stablecoins printing their new supplies and the FED as well. These are the two injections that we're having to the market but that doesn't mean that bitcoin is solely reliant on it.

These can't be avoided and it's them, the FED and US government that's deciding on this one. While the impact of it is really being felt by most of us, we're not just abiding with the negativity of it but as well as the beneficial part for bitcoin and the whole crypto market.
976  Economy / Economics / Re: Has anyone felt lost in pursuit of financial freedom ? on: March 18, 2023, 07:43:21 AM
I never felt boring whenever I am making money and most people keep running towards making money even if they are the richest person on this planet which shows what is the power of money and most people don't stop even if they have more than enough for the rest of their life.
That's actually the motivation that we need and we ain't rich so it's never boring to make money and do our stuff. It encourages us to do better and do more when we've got goals that we wanna achieve.

Financial independent and making money is different in my opinion cause we can make money in different ways but only few managed to understand the system and excel in it by finding the loop holes of this Matrix just like Andrew Tate blabs. Grin
Those people that have found themselves richer and wealthier due to their strategy won't share the details about how they've got there. They may share a bit of it but the entirety of it will be kept as it's their secret.

Well, we just don't stop thinking of ways for us to get to the top and all of us got the same resource and that's time. All of us got 24 hours and it depends on each of us on how we're going to spend that in making money.
977  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While Everyone was Talking about El Salvador! We forgot about Guatemala on: March 17, 2023, 11:43:46 PM
I came across this video which will prove that Bitcoin can only succeed in a country when everyone accepts it and knows its value through grass root penetration. I mean everyone here came together when someone recommended Bitcoin.
Let us not forget that the grassroots of bitcoin has been totally bad for most countries. And having that perspective of everyone knows bitcoin is fairly low to be seen since most countries aren't open with bitcoin adoption.

But the let us acknowledge the countries that despite they didn't adopt bitcoin as a legal tender and doesn't have something to say, at least they don't restrict and forbidden their citizens to use and invest in bitcoin.

It's unlikely to see that everyone will adopt bitcoin but I guess, that being in a country that the majority is aware of bitcoin says a lot from that country. But ask them if they've got bitcoin holdings might be a different topic to discuss.
978  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for the rising and pumping hours. on: March 17, 2023, 10:43:53 PM
Because of how much we think of bitcoin at all times, even in our dreams it's never gone. I've dreamt of it as well a lot and that only indicates that we care of its price every time there's a market reaction whether it's a correction or not.

But as you've said, that's a good sign. We've crossed $27k just this time and it's about to break $28k any time soon and as we move on the weekend. This is where most of the correction happens but that's to be expected when we just came from a quick pump.
979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanging large amounts of BTC for FIAT on: March 17, 2023, 09:42:27 PM
As long as the transaction is clean and you don't do anything something illegal, there's nothing to worry about if you're just gonna use these exchanges for buying bitcoin.

Then afterwards, you just cash out the bitcoin that has been purchased on them. Yeah, kyc might be required but if you can't find someone to deal with through P2P or through OTC markets then that's where your friend will still fall.

It's the reality these days that those comfortable exchangers do require KYC and we can't do anything against that unless you can find any of those that has been mentioned.
980  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the signs of the next bull market for cryptocurrencies ? on: March 17, 2023, 08:54:43 PM
Or are you ready for the next bull market ?
I am.

I'm just waiting for it to come and preparing my share on it to be taken when the price is right. But as of now, it's better to keep on checking ourselves and portfolios until it comes.

Good for you. Opportunity always favors those who are well prepared. Our project FireDAO was launched on Arbitrum One mainnet and will update more features in the future. Hope you'll be interested. Please refer to this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5441307.0 to find more detailed info. OG round to the public will be coming soon and please stay tuned.
It's true that anyone who's well prepared are just waiting for the market to hit those targets that we're setting.

I'll take a look on it.

I've been hearing about the arbitrum project but not with yours. It seems that it's getting the traction as of the moment and that's why projects like yours should capitalize that attention and popularity that it gets.
