981  Economy / Marketplace / Re: 1 Year in Cryptocurrency still no luck earning bitcoin. Need some real advice. on: February 04, 2018, 05:33:21 PM
I just try to increase my satoshi level, instead of looking at the dollar amount. Try to invest in Icos, thats where the big money is at.
Both are important; both how many satoshi you have and how much it is worth in dollar,  but most important is what it is worth in dollars. Having an amount of satoshi that is worth nothing makes no sense at all, cause if is worth nothing,  there is no way you can withdraw it and that means your'e achieving nothing. Think out of the box.

Failure with crypto probably due to lack of awareness and not providing enough importance to crypto related earning. Still, many people are not scheduling enough time for finding crypto based opportunities. When we treat crypto earning serious then only we can make some benefits with it. Otherwise years may pass away without any improvements.
982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would we know which cryptocurrency would be Scam? on: February 04, 2018, 05:07:09 PM
Transparency, decentralization, has been alluded to by the cryptocurrency carrier project. These two things must be a benchmark. function, of course, so that the public can see, and provide an assessment of the feasibility, security, good prospects for the future or not, and know the typical cryptocurrency offered.

so in general, by knowing the character of how the new project cryptocurrency, is the most appropriate thing to be able to see how to ensure crypto or not.
I don’t think it is easy to tell which cryptocurrency will end being a scam or which one is the best. All I do is invest in cryptocurrencies that has reputation and not the new ones without reputation. I know that the new ones may turn out to be a success tomorrow,  but I don’t care,  I’d rather invest when it's late and safe.

Investing into multiple coins with little amount into them will be some what a better way to safe guard us from not losing all the money at once and at the same time, we will not miss any good project too.
983  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Have you ever bought a product with Bitcoin and what do you want to buy? on: February 04, 2018, 04:39:39 PM
So far I have used bitcoins to buy air time for my mobile phones. In my country we do not have any other merchants for accepting direct bitcoin payments. Like most of the people here I am also very much interested to buy my daily needs for bitcoin payments so that I will be saving a lot of money because I am converting bitcoin for my local fiats which has lot of hassles and fees. Additionally I am having bitcoin debit card but due to its high fees I am afraid to use it. But, when bitcoin will be having huge value, I may start using it for my daily needs.
Bitcoin is bad for buying airtime  and I will never advice anyone to do such a thing with bitcoin, unless maybe you used a different server. I once tried to buy airtime with Xapo, that was around 2015 and I ended up losing my money. I later contacted their customer care,  and they claimed that I must have gott the airtime,  which I never did. I had no other choice than to forget about it.

Honestly I am not discouraging anyone for not trying. But I suggest to double confirm before trying out. Because, fiat is working in different way from bitcoin is working. Even bitcoin transactions are visible to anyone, some customer executives are not understanding that which may lead to unnecessary problems.
984  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Hacking is the Big Problem on: February 04, 2018, 03:58:28 PM
This is a really big issue when it comes to online currencies. Every process is a risks and online hacking is not easily tracked even by the government. You must be careful on what you're going to do online especially when filing information online and even downloading stuffs. Anyone you can be possibly monitored and can be used for hackings.
So,  someone gets into Bitcoin,  feeling they are safe and not knowing that it is even worst than having cash. That’s why I do say they are all the same,  whether you’re using Bitcoin or cash,  there are risks involved in both. Anyone who’s making use of Bitcoin has to be careful. Despite all that’s happening, I believe there are safe wallets out thee that can’t be hacked easily, but there is no need to mention.
985  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Trading! on: February 04, 2018, 03:25:05 PM
I am a beginner in the field of bitcoin trading, want to know whether success in trading depends more on experience or on skills.
In bitcoin trading, trading techniques must be owned by the trader himself and should be able to understand market trends. In addition, our cryptocurrency trade must have a trade principle, In a way at the same time get a big profit or get a little profit but often. Maybe from a simple thing like this that must be considered first in order to successfully run trading on cryptocurrency.
These are all long talks,  all I know is that you can not have skills without having the experience on how trading works and what it’s  all about. Skills is what shows that you have an experience, so both works together. You don’t talk about skills when you don’t have any experience. So I don’t know why some people would be saying that experience makes no sense,  and that it is best to have skills, that makes no meaning.
986  Economy / Economics / Re: Facebook accepts Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2018, 09:36:33 AM
As you can see, actually facebook tries to BAN bitcoin, so in no way it will accept them.
We need to wait to understand if this ban is for real, or if it's just a manipulative move to influence the market.
Seems like the op misunderstood what he was told, maybe the person who told him that said that Facebook will start investing on Bitcoin and not accepting Bitcoin. And you yourself, you’re also wrong lol. Please, can you tell me when Facebook tried to ban Bitcoin? Maybe a link of an article that shows when they did such, I will really appreciate. As far as am concerned, Facebook never had any business to do with Bitcoin, neither did they talk about accepting or banning it or something.
987  Economy / Economics / Re: good effect and bad effects of robots in replacing human Jobs on: February 04, 2018, 09:17:28 AM
In an idealistic world, the robots would do all the hazardous and exhausting jobs, and humans could evolve towards less tiring and more rewarding tasks...
In reality, I think that, exactly like at every stage of evolution, some jobs will disappear and others be created. Saying that robotisation is the cause of unemployment is quite a shortcut.
I do always believe that robots are good, but not really good. We should mind the level of which we build these robots.
Yes, they are good, they work very hard more than we humans do and they can carry out heavy tasks, but they are not smart as human beings when it comes to some certain duties.

Sometimes you even need to control them and tell them what to direct them on what to do. And another thing is that robots are very dangerous, and we should have limit on the number of robots we produce and how advanced they can be.
988  Economy / Speculation / Re: future bitcoin? on: February 04, 2018, 08:51:58 AM
So many Ico..

Too many coins.

Bitcoin will just retain its value max 19k usd
Well, 19k is good enough, but I would not imagine being there forever, Even if we stay on that value for a very long time, a time will come where we either see another uptrend or a downtrend as the case may be. The momentum to buy may be very low right now, but anything can happen. Also, I still see this level as a huge manipulation level where some big guys want to be holding a pretty good position and kudos to those who are busy giving them theirs. I hope they like the outcome in the long run.
989  Economy / Speculation / Re: this is the drop i have been waiting for on: February 04, 2018, 06:12:04 AM
still dropping.....whats the bottom?

it went

5x down in 2013 so ? 20k ---> 4K?

This market cycles are repeating itself over time to time. There is no doubt that this correction will continue for a long time. So let's use this advantage before it gonna be disappeared on market. Bottom is 6000$ level in my opinion. Keep buying with small amounts till 6000$ support level. Wink
That is market. History, one way or the other will find a way to replay itself. However, I would not ever want to imagine we can see a 5x down like what we had in 2013. Bears and bulls have something in common and that is time. We are in that trend for now, but let's really hope we are going to have a strong support to prevent it from falling further. I really would not want to imagine in my head what 5x downtrend is going to be like for the market.

I do believe market is still quite far from danger and I really hope we will never get to any danger zone. The scenarios in 2013 was a different case though, so I won't believe we can see an incident like that. Probably soon, we are going to start consolidating before the trend changes, but who knows how long or how far this downtrend will go for now. I did not even know we would get to this stage anyway, but now that we are here, I really hope the market recovers soon as I am so bored to my teeth.
990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Litecoin on: February 03, 2018, 07:56:28 PM
I'm waiting in the near future, when the developers of Litecoin create a more perfect mechanism for determining the amount of commissions in the implementation of transactions as promised by their creator.

Litecoin has been introduced in the world of digital currencies only a few time ago. It is actually the beginning of lite coin. It has to flourish in a very significant manner in the days to come and it has to make a good name in the market. There are people who have started investing their money into it but still, that number is not that much huge. You can expect a better future in the coming years.
991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 15 NEO stolen from neotracker.io wallet - Is the website hacked?!!! on: February 03, 2018, 07:42:40 PM
Perhaps you need to handle claims to the administration so that they correct the mistake and return the loss.

How could they return the loss? Isn't the whole point of crypto to make that impossible..?

Anyway, it seems like the scam address is still accumulating new coins -- when i checked yesterday it had 1660 NEO, now it has over 2000  Angry
Yeah, chances are very small that will happens. Also, I contacted NEO on every possible platform but no answer at all so far.
There can be several other reasons behind this as well.
You cannot be this much sure that these NEO coins have been stolen by someone. It is too early to make a conclusion. I don’t think so that such kind of thing would have been happened. There must be some technical problem due to which this all had happened. We just need to wait till the time we get to know the actual reason.
992  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historic BITCOIN recovery. will it be 5000% next? on: February 03, 2018, 07:26:09 PM
I don’t know but as a HODLER it’s pretty upsetting seeing the price crash so much. I know it always recovers but it’s worrying seeing this at the moment Sad
If you are a holder with experience you should be glad that is happening. Each time after the price drop occurs when the pump and the price of bitcoin skyrockets. Have patience and you will be rewarded.
For him being a legendary right? Not everyone have the spirit to withhold moments like this and still keep holding but like you said, at least if it is not a bought account, times like this should have been a familiar one and an easy moment for any legend, unless you just wished you had cash out to trade and make profit like the institutions. OP has given us something to look forward to anyway, so I am looking forward to how the recovery of this one is going to be like.
993  Economy / Economics / Re: Another Good news about bitcoin on: February 03, 2018, 06:14:18 PM
More people improve their financial position with the help of cryptology.
That’s how it starts, that’s how you guys keeps getting scammed. Tomorrow you will come to the forum and blame it on Bitcoin saying that Bitcoin is scam, while you’re the one that gave your money to scammers. Why do you even need a bank ?

What is it that the self proclaimed “first Bitcoin bank” has to offer that wallet like Xapo, Coinbase and their lookalikes doesn’t have to offer their users ?

When you use Xapo, you’re offered an option to use debit card by MasterCard for withdrawing your money through any ATM with the MasterCard logo on it which is the same thing done by banks. So what is it that you need from these ones that claims what they are not ?
994  Economy / Economics / Re: France declares war on the cryptocurrencies on: February 03, 2018, 05:21:36 PM
Well, it seems that not only France, but any government, institution, media, corporation, declared war on the cryptocurrencies.

Two explanations:

1) they are scared and try to destroy cryptomarket

2) the want to profit, so they manipulate the market to make price fall to buy cheap.

We'll see.
Still some countries within the SEPA zone are not willing to agree with France and Germany about these over-the-top regulations: let's see how the G20 summit goes, but UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta all share a different vision. There won't be a consensus we can be sure about that. Too much money involved.
It’s seems like we are not understanding this. I don’t think this is in a way to stop or ban Bitcoin… despite their central bank governor once said that Bitcoin is no cryptocurrency and neither is it a national currency.

I believe what the France government is trying to do is find a way of preventing those who use cryptocurrencies as a way to dodge paying their taxes, and also to find a way of stopping those that uses Bitcoin as a way to carry out some criminal activities. So, I don’t believe they are trying to ban Bitcoin, cause they never mentioned anything like banning.
995  Economy / Economics / Re: Taxes and crypto. on: February 03, 2018, 11:06:24 AM
How does everyone feel about being taxed on profits earned through crypto currencies. We all took the leap of faith and risked our money, if we had all lost our money would the IRS still be interested in taxing us. Dont think so.

How far do you think governments will go to get a piece of the action?
Oh man! There is a huge harm in giving something back most especially when those you are giving are the corrupt government who has screwed us all with their stupid taxes. It is a pain in the arise and I cannot wait for the day I will be able to spend my bitcoin without having to convert to fiat.

I am still very optimistic that day is going to come, so I am saving up for it, and they can keep taxing up their fiat until that moment comes, but my bitcoin profit, they can go screw themselves. Enough is enough!
996  Economy / Economics / Re: wait for bitcoin prices to go up on: February 03, 2018, 06:35:10 AM
In this case now it is possible now i think!! Because last to years chart of bitcoin after chinese new year bitcoin price get rise and pump its value. Hope to see bitcoin again rising.
There is no reason to panic. I have experienced this so many times, and the best part is that there are some Economy wizards in this forum and online that keeps on predicting what will happen and when it’s likely to happen. Back in 2017 when the price was going up, some people were predicting that Bitcoin price rate will be corrected once it reaches $20k or $25k, but unfortunately it was around $19k, though close to $20k, but it’s still as they predicted. They also said that Bitcoin will fall heavily, and when it will rise, it will go with a boom and those who saved their Bitcoin will make lots of money. So I keep on believing.
997  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading on: February 02, 2018, 11:16:44 AM
I am calculate the profit from trading altcoin using percentage. That's to say, whatever funds i put into trading even for $14 (as you mentioned), that's enough. As long as we are observant to see price movement, then we can achieve good profits.
$14 is actually good to start investing into trading with some good altcoins as holding some coins for long term can be much profitable. Some good altcoins are at a good dip for now and it can eventually rise some or the other day which can usually give huge returns and even some coins rise up by 5x to 10x which will just multiply your amount. Also $14 can give you a $100 profit if you have good patience and you are ready to invest and forget about the coin. Day trading can be profitable for fast but small profits but I won't prefer day trading with $14 so try to get some profits from that 14$ and then you can start day trading and long term trading in percentages to get you huge returns.
$14 is enough for anyone to start your trading but it won't actually give them that good profits indeed as $14 is not that big amount and some of it is lost into the transactions fees itself.

As OP is new to trading and the cryptos worlds, he can try getting some more knowledge and also try to start paper trading rather than investing your funds into trading. He can move on to trading with his funds once you have good knowledge about trading and also once you start having good profits in paper trading. Paper trading won't actually give anyone any profits in return but indeed it will give them good knowledge but what actual trading is and also they can start getting good experiences which will again be profitable for the future.
998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading strategies on: February 02, 2018, 09:27:59 AM
my own trading strategies, is first check if the coins is active and if they have a long gap on the buy and sell orders. always check the 24hr high and low, just place your bid in lower part and wait to be filled whenever you deal or not its just ok. just play safe and happy trading.
I guess each coin is active but some coins really differ a lot into their buy and sell order which is highly overseen by some traders but it can affect a lot in our trading profits as there we can invest into the coin at a good price but we really need to wait long to sell the coin if the buy order and sell order prices varies too much. In addition to that, some major coins increase the volume cap or the market cap and that time if everything is well, we can invest with some minor study as more and more peoples will surely get attracted towards the coin and also the demand will gradually rise up giving good profits back.
999  Economy / Economics / Re: The USDT problem on: January 31, 2018, 08:50:50 AM
I wouldn't trust this in the least. It's supposed to be backed by real USD to maintain it's stable price, but where did the USD to act as a reserve currency come from? Their transparency page (https://wallet.tether.to/transparency) lists 2.15 billion tether in circulation, which means they have to have a reserve of 2.15 billion USD to hold in reserve. Does it seem likely to you that they have two billion dollars in reserve to keep the price stable?

It doesn't to me. Avoid like the plague. This has scam written all over it.
But you need to think in different way. When we are having all the crypto currency with a fluctuating value why not we have some currencies with fixed value ? Because, we are believing in to some corporations who are all operating some services in the name of paypal or payza, now why not believing in to a crypto currency which is having similar purposes ?

In my view, USDT is nothing but an replica of paypal. Both are serving electronic format of USD. We are using them for different purposes hence there will be no harm of using USDT. But, we need to be always more conscious because any services may get shut down at any time.
1000  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is useless on: January 31, 2018, 08:10:25 AM
Bitcoin is useless.. No its not. That's not really true because if that's true bitcoin will not grow as big as  we are now:-)
It helps a lot of people .I change a lot of people lives . so how come its useless. For me its a big no.
For me,  Bitcoin was starting to look useless and my reasons for saying so are same as the reasons stated by the op– Transactions take time (up to hours), we pay high fees for transaction,  but it is still slow. There is no need to mention the other reasons,  cause it has already been mentioned by the op. There are lots of coins out there that are worth investing than bitcoin,  but people are neglecting them cause they see bitcoin as the first.

Probably the real use of bitcoin yet to be unveiled as people are not yet using it as a currency. When people will be using bitcoin for their daily life then we can find how much it will be useful and many more applications could be developed based on bitcoin payment system. But definitely it will take more time because a right now people are preferring to use bitcoin only as an investment instead of traditional assets.
