Regarding the new poll questioning will Ten Hag bring the glory days back to Man Utd, I voted no. My reason for that is because whilst Guardiola & Klopp are still managing in England no other team is going to be winning the title. Those two managers are levels above everybody else & until they leave their monopoly of being 1st & 2nd is not going to get broken up imo.

I have to agree with you. I really think that Ten Hag is a great coach that and one of the few coaches that really have the knowledge and ability to make a team better and where you can really see a difference in the style of playing a few weeks or months when he took over a new team. Like you already said though, both Pep Guardiola and Jόrgen Klopp are also such great coaches and they just have the big advantage that they are already at their clubs for a few years and that they therefore already had a lot of time to implement their philosophy into their teams. It will take at least a few years for Manchester United to come closer to ManCity and Liverpool.

No one actually knows what Ronaldo wants. I personally think that Ronaldo doesn't know what he wants either. This is because he got everything and still trying to get nothing. If he doesn't want to settle with Manchester United, he could be very unlucky and end his career in a shameful way. I will advise he remains with United and if he doesn't want to play anymore, he should leave the stage when the ovation is high.

If the reports are true then Cristiano Ronaldo was offered around 250 Million € for only 2 seasons from a club from Qatar or Saudi Arabia which is a ridiculously high amount of salary, but Ronaldo refused that offer because he thinks he is still to good to play in Qatar or in the United States. It seems like that he really wants to play in the Champions League in the coming season, which is not that big of a surprise as it simply is the hardest and also most prestigious club championship that exist in football and Ronaldo still thinks that he needs to be part of that tournament. I still think though that he will stay at ManU as their new coach Ten Hag also said recently that he wants him to stay.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are people still buying XRP? on: July 20, 2022, 10:36:57 AM
XRP (Ripple) up 15.5% this week... why?
For years and years and years the "thesis" behind buying it was "BEcaUsE BAnkS aRE UsINg iT"
Anyone here buying XRP or even holding it? Am really curious as to know why.

I don't own any XRP myself and i also don't plan to buy any XRP in the future i am not an IT or even crypto expert but even i know that XRP stands for everything that crypto wanted to change in the first place: centralization and that governments and federal banks have the control over the wealth of ordinary people. To the question why XRP is up 15% in the last week, i think the answer to that is pretty obvious. First of all the traditional stock market is also recovering at the moment because of the news that the whole interest topic is slowing down. When the traditional stock markets grow the crypto market as a whole grows also and therefore almost every crypto project.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 19, 2022, 09:01:09 PM
Damn this season started on fire really competitive games we have seen so far except regensburg vs darmstadt all the other games could've gone either way, for the teams that managed to win its a perfect beginnig for the season, not to mention thats is good to see kaiserslautern back to the bundesliga 2.

I am also pretty happy with the start of the season. The games were pretty nice to watch and i am also quite pleased with the results of the first matchday. I like that Regensburg and Hamburg have won. It is definitely true that it was a pretty lucky win for the HSV against Braunschweig because the game was pretty even but they had a great goalkeeper and they just scored two goals more. It is always important to have a positive start into a season because it will boost the confidence and it will also reduce the pressure a little. Now that both Werder Bremen and FC Schalke are already back in the first Bundesliga again there should be no doubt that Hamburg is now the big favorite to finally make it back into the Bundesliga again.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Bounty Manager can bring to the bounty campaign? on: July 19, 2022, 08:58:21 PM
I wonder what can bounty manager can bring to the campaign and what if not? Of course they will bring more member but actually how many member, how participant will they bring?

I don't think that it is the task of the bounty manager to recruit as many participants as possible. If it is a altcoinbounty then the team behind the project that offers the bounty is primarily responsible for that task because first of all their projects needs to be worth investing the time for the value of tokens that you get. If it is just the 10001th meme-coin that is doing a bounty then i would guess that not a lot of people want to join their campaign anyway. The job of a bounty manager is to make sure that everyone that is part of the bounty does what needs to be done and that there are no cheaters and no duplicate accounts or stuff like that.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 19, 2022, 08:30:29 AM
Now it's fixed, Oliver Kahn himself has confirmed it and they appear to be paying 70 million + bonus payments of 10 million for De Ligt.  Has de Ligt been that good this season?  I had the feeling that he still had to learn.  We'll see how he will do at Bayern. Smiley

That is another big transfer for Bayern Munich in this summer, hats off to them! So far i really think that they have done everything right this transfer season and for me those big tranfers of Mane and De Ligt were totally unexpected as i have never thought that Bayern would be willing to spend so much money on new players.
I personally think that De Ligt is a great addition to the team and even 3 years ago when he was just 19 and transfered from Ajax to Juventus he was already a great defender. It is also true, that his performances in the last season were not so impressive but i think he has great potential to be one of the best defenders for the next 10 years.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA to be next MATIC on: July 19, 2022, 08:16:48 AM
Well, we are seeing what is MATIC doing in the crypto market these days. Do you guys think ADA can also do that in the coming days?

I don't really understand. I mean MATIC is "just" a layer for Ethereum, which is great no doubt because using polygon you can save a lot of money on transaction costs. Maybe that is not as important at the moment as the gas price of Ethereum is also relatively low right now with only 15 Gwei but once we are seeing big market movements again i am sure this number will very fast go up to 100 Gwei and even way more.
Cardano (ADA) on the other side is it's own chain and it already is a bigger project than Polygon in terms of the market cap, so i don't really know what ADA should do in the coming days that Polygon already did? ADA had it's price peak when the news about the smart contracts came. We are still ways off that price range.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 17, 2022, 06:11:52 PM
I agree with you, Oliver Kahn has on several occasions denied that Bayern Munich are not interested in the 37-year-old, who scored 24 goals in 38 games in all competitions for United last season.
So far Kahn has always talked about age but not the qualities a forward has in terms of scoring goals, I think Ronaldo is still capable of competing for the top scorer title.

Well i generally agree that primarily we should not talk about the age of the players but only about the quality of the players and i think in terms of quality there is no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo is still a high class player and an effective striker. The big problem is that Cristiano Ronaldo is earning around 30 M € per year at Manchester United and i would guess that he also wants to earn that kind of money if he is going to a new club. Bayern would also need to pay a transfer fee for him as he still has a contract at ManU until the end of next season. So Bayern would have to pay at least around 50 M€ or so to sign Cristiano Ronaldo for 1 season. That is just way to much for a player that is already 37 years old.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Largest exchange in Philippines to list SHIB !!! on: July 17, 2022, 06:05:07 PM
According to several recent tweets posted by Coins.ph, the largest regulated crypto exchange in the Philippines, the platform intended to list Shiba Inu on July 13. However, due to certain technical issues, the listing of the second largest meme coin by market cap has so far been postponed. The exchange promised to list Shiba Inu "very soon."
Well a new listing on an exchange is always a good thing in general, but i really doubt that this news will have any impact on the price of Shiba Inu. I mean Shiba Inu is a top 20 coin in terms of marketcap (i don't know why it has such high market cap but it is how it is) and therefore it is already listed on the biggest exchanges like Binance, Coinbase, Huobi, Kraken, Kucoin, Gate.io and so on, so the news that it will be also listed on an exchange that i have never heard of before is really nothing special anymore. I don't know about the regulations in the phillipines but maybe that could not legally buy Shiba Inu before because they had to use other exchanges from other countries to do that?
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 17, 2022, 10:36:27 AM
From one of the news portals that I got, Bayern Munich has made their latest offer for De Ligt. The amount is around 90 million with a combination of cash plus bonuses, I think instead of long and unfinished negotiations and the offer is very close to 100 million, then it seems it would be better for Bayern Munich to immediately follow the wishes of Juventus with 100 million. Unless Bayern Munich have no money and only bid in the range of 50-70 million, then naturally the negotiations will be very long. But even what happens that their offer is very close to the nominal price, then completing the transaction sooner would be better because after all, De Ligt himself really wanted to leave and had agreed to join Bayern Munich.

I would be surprised if that news is true because i highly doubt that Bayern will offer such a high amount of money to Juventus already. The last thing that i heard was that Juventus wants to have the same amount of money for De Ligt that they have paid for him themself, which was 80 Million €. I don't think that Bayern would pay even 1 € more than this 80 Million € but they are probably trying to get him for like 60-70 Million €. I would guess that in the end the price will be at around 80 Million € including all portential bonuses. Bayern will never pay 100 Million €. If Bayern could get De Ligt for 80 Million € then i think it is a good transfer because he is only 22 years old.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will exchanges control ETH after it becomes a PoS cryptocurrency? on: July 17, 2022, 10:31:40 AM
I've been saying this for a long time now, and I will say it again. PoS will make ETH more centralized as whales and other big players in the industry will be able to participate in the network with their stake. Considering that exchanges hold most of a Blockchain network's cryptocurrency supply, changing to PoS will leave the average person out of the system for good.
Do you think big exchanges like Binance, FTX, and Huobi will be able to control ETH after it becomes a full-fledged cryptocurrency? if not, why? Will there still be hope for ETH after the upgrade is finalized? What will happen if ETH collapses due to centralization? Will it take the whole crypto market down with it? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

I don't think that the switch to PoS will have the negative effects that you have mentioned. I mean at the moment Ethereum is PoW and here the situation is also the same. There are huge mining companies located in China as far as i know that have a lot of hashpower which means they also have a lot of control over the network in that sense. I think that even after the switch to PoS Ethereum will be much more decentralized than most other PoS coins out there because ETH is just so popular and big that a lot of people are actually owning Ethereum and as you already said, eveyone can stake their ETH via pools or something.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2022, 08:21:57 PM
Well... it is also a perfect transfer for Bayern too.
They got 50m for a 34 yo player with 1 year left in his contract.
Not sure who did the best move between Barca and Bayern but probably the german team.
I totally agree that Bayern made a great deal here for several reasons. First of all i think in general it is a great deal when you get 50 Million Euros for a player that is already 34 years old and that only has one more year of contract before he can leave the club for no transfer fee at all. Secondly it is a even more good deal for Bayern because the timing is also perfect in my opinion. Bayern is heavily interested in Matthijs De Ligt and if the reports are true then De Ligt also wants to come to Bayern. The problem so far was that Juventus wants around 70 Million € for him which is a huge amount, but now with the money from the Lewandowski transfer it could be doable for Bayern.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2022, 12:59:08 PM
Lewa to Barca is almost done.
Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1548068332804272129
And now Bayern has the money for DeLigt (Juventus wants 80-90m)
Juventus will try to steal Bremer from Inter (he has a deal with them and/or go for Pau Torres/Gabriel)

Thank god this transfer drama around Lewandowski is now finally over. I think we can now be 100% sure that he will leave Bayern Munich for Barcelona because Oliver Kahn has just confirmed like an hour ago that Bayern and Barca has reached a verbal agreement about the transfer of Lewandoswki. As a Bayern supporter i am happy that they let Lewandowski go because it is not good to force a player to stay at your club if he does not want to. This is not good for the performance of the player himself but also for the mood of the whole team i would imagine.
Secondly i also think like you that Bayern now has pretty good chances to get De Ligt, which would be a great transfer.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Bear Market? CryptoPunk Sells for $3.3 Million on: July 16, 2022, 12:53:48 PM
A non-fungible token from the CryptoPunk collection has sold for a staggering 2,691 ETH ($3.3 million), defying the bear market.
This has marked one of the most valuable NFT sales of all time despite the fact that the industry is in the doldrums. The purchase has pushed the floor price of the CryptoPunk collection higher. The collection has seen a resurgence this summer despite the fact that sentiment toward NFTs has soured. Another rare CryptoPunk was bought for $2.6 million earlier this week. Last June, a CryptoPunk NFT was sold for a whopping $12 million worth of Ether.

Those are really absolutely crazy numbers 2M $, 3M $ or even 12M $ just for the ownership of a piece of virtual art that can be downloaded for free by anyone else is really crazy and also not really understanable for me. If you are collecting real physical pieces of art then of course it is totally different because then you are the only one owning that piece of art and you can touch it, but with NFT's millions of people can have the jpg of that NFT on their PC or whatever and the only thing that the owner has in comparison to those millions of people is a string of code withing a blockchain that is identifying him as the owner.
Also like others in this thread already mentioned, i also think that it is very likely that this was just a wash trade or something between two addresses of the same very rich guy or between two rich friends or something.
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 15, 2022, 11:45:08 PM
Well i cant put more words, the video says it all.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsB15QKz9No&ab_channel=EBDSports
I really think this damage the trust in the sports bets , or anything related to the sport gambling, i know a lot can say its a kind of protest but still really unclear.

Everyone that is betting on sports results should always be aware of the fact that there will always be the risk of match fixing or other methods of game manipulation. That being said, i really don't think that we have a lot of fixed matches in the top european leagues of football (or soccer for americans), because there is just way to much money involved already. You basically had to bribe at least 4 or 5 players of one team in order to make them lose and i would guess those players would all want at least a few 100k € each in order to do that.
In smaller leagues like the one you posted or also in sports where a single athlete competes the chances for match fixes are higher.
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIB, DOGE and BabyDoge: How Do Community Favorites Perform? on: July 15, 2022, 11:41:16 PM
BabyDoge (BABYDOGE)
Many treat them disparagingly, many consider them just a fun toy and many identify them with memes, but the fact remains that the communities of these coins are so huge that they call themselves armies. We are talking about Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and BabyDoge. And while the first two are the more entrenched participants on the crypto market, BabyDoge is not on this list as a passenger, having celebrated its super successful first year since the project's birth in June 2021. How are these popular coins performing in times of total volatility and extreme fear on the crypto market? In short, better than expected, reacting to fundamental events on par with their more serious market competitors. Let's review their charts in detail.

Sorry to say OP but is pretty obvious that your post is just another shill attempt for your favorite meme-coin which you probably have invested in or are even part of the team; Babydoge. This is ok because everyone wants to make money but i doubt that many will fall for that easy scheme. I just searched for Babydoge on coinmarketcap and i had 14 results. I think this alone stands for itself. I am pretty sure that 10 of those 14 meme-coins are already dead and the other 4 will probably be dead withing the next few months. Meme-coins are totally useless and they also did harm the crypto market as a hole in my opinion as they took away attention and money from real projects. I am happy when they are all gone pretty soon. Except for Dogecoin and probably Shiba Inu, which i dislike two but i think the market can handle 2 useless projects.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 15, 2022, 06:57:32 PM
I really dont see even how Barcelona would buy Silva from Man City. They wouldnt let him for a low fee because he is an important player plus Barcelona dosent have the money to throw around with how they are in huge debt

Well we all know that Barcelona has a huge amount of debts of more than 1,3 Billion € and they even had to sell club property like the TV rights and the merchandise branch. Everyone that has a little common sense and that follows the principle that you should never spend more money then you get would probably think now that they would take those 500 or 600 Million € that they have got for their sold property to pay back a big part of their debts, but no. Barcelona is probably buying Lewandowski for around 50 Million € from Bayern Munich and they have bought Raphinha for 58 Million € from Leeds. For me it is absolutely incomprehensible how a club can be so irresponsible with money.
1218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice from a stranger on: July 15, 2022, 06:50:41 PM
Is it true that new altcoins are the best to invest in right now? Someone said you can easily make better profits from new projects than investing in old altcoins that have already x their values already, what do you think? Good or bad idea.

First of all i would never do what some people are telling you to do on the internet or anywhere else. If you think that an advice about an potentially interesting project sounds good then start your own research about it and decide for yourself if you want to invest or not. The advice that you received or have read is not a good one in my opinion. While it is true that an investment in new and upcoming projects can give you the biggest potential profit it is also true that the risk that you are losing all your money when you do that is very very high. Especially in a bear market like at the moment investing in new projects is extremely risky.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 15, 2022, 10:06:27 AM
Keeping Cristiano Ronaldo by Manchester United has no value in my opinion, because I believe he no longer has a passion for the club, so keeping him will be a waste of time, and they will have to continue paying him as usual. Allowing him to leave is the best option because he has demonstrated that his own personal success is more important to him than the success of the entire team. I said this because if Manchester United has qualified for the Champions League, he would have been the one to give the players more hope of doing better for the team.

Has Cristiano Ronaldo really made such statements or let his behaviour come to this conclusion? I would be really surprised about that. I mean of course he would love to play Champions League next season because he is already 37 now and he probably will only play 1 or 2 more years and then i can totally understand that he wants to compete in the biggest club championship that exists in football. That being said Manchester United is basically the club that made him the player that he is today and i doubt that he would play for any other club in England. Maybe he would leave for a club in Italy or in Spain but i doubt that he would go to Chelsea or ManCity.
1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gamers want to use crypto in the Metaverse? on: July 15, 2022, 10:01:34 AM
Like a few other gamers, I am quite skeptical about the issue raised in this article, because in fact, I do not see a great deal of support from the traditional gamers around me for the new area that we mentioned. A small regional experiment doesn't mean much for the entire field and for what we've come to know about Metaverse, but I'm also very supportive of more and more relevant and quality new products.

I also think that a lot of the traditional gamers are categorically denying anything that has to do with cryptocurrencies or metaverse being implemented in one of their favorite games and i can understand that. I am a gamer myself and that whole pay-2-win trend withing gaming is really bad for the whole industry and of course especially for the gamers itself. Therefore it makes totally sense that gamers don't want to have cryptocurrencies implemented in their games because that basically means that the game will also have microtransactions and i would guess that no gamers wants his game to have that kind of crap.
