Scandal Profi Balotelli is back. +10 years ago he had his great successes, he win the Champions League with Inter Mailand 2010. Agreements between Adana Demirspor and FC Sion are intense. The price for the transfer fee has already been discussed. Balotelli still has a contract until 2024 and he has scored 18 goals in 31 games, so he currently plays good soccer. With 31 years he can still play for 2-3 years. Maybe we will see him soon in Switzerland.

The career of Balotelli really was a rollercoaster ride so far. Around 10 years ago he was literally on the top after he scored both goals for Italy in the semifinal of the Euro 2012 against Germany. Sadly it seems like that whole fame and attention that he got back then was maybe to much for him, because after that most of the time Balotelli was in the news for negative stuff that he did like extremely stupid fouls that gave him a red card again which made him miss big parts of the season and other stupid actions that are just not really understandable from outside.
I hope the transfer to Sion happens and that Balotelli can show his talent again for a few seasons.
1182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ultimate choice? on: July 26, 2022, 07:11:01 PM
So, guys what will be your choice from these coins and why? Any specific reason? - BCH, AXS, EOS, BTC, ETH

I would guess that most people will say BTC and according to the posts that i have read it seems to be that way. That is not really that surprising to me because after all Bitcoin is still king for most crypto people because it was the project that started the whole crypto space. That being said if i had to choose in which of those 5 coins i would invest then i would probably choose ETH. For me Ethereum is just as important for the crypto space as Bitcoin because they brought the whole smart contract functionality into the space. Without smart contracts we would not have such a wide variety of crypto uses cases now like Dexes, NFT's, Tokens and Defi.

Germany SuperCup this weekend and it's also the first test for Bayern without Lewa.
Bayern vs Dortmund is what we are looking at and for me , Dortmund has the first chance as I don't see Bayern going all-in for this trophy even if the fans will want to see them lift another one. For now , we don't even know if important players will play full game or only 20 minutes or so.

Well it is true that finally the season will start again this Saturday with the Super cup, but Bayern is not facing Borussia Dortmund their. They are playing against RB Leipzig. I think the rules are that the Bundesliga champion is playing against the winner of the DFB Pokal there. Of course in recent years it was pretty often the case that Bayern was the Bundesliga champion and the DFB Pokal winner at the same time and in this case they are playing against the team that was on the second position in the Bundesliga which would be Dortmund in this case.
Bayern is the favorite for me even though the cup is not important. They have a lot of new players and therefore competition for the places in the starting eleven.
1184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT Prices Are Getting Higher on: July 26, 2022, 08:44:15 AM
5 days ago I read that one of the posts on twiiter USDT is temporarily down https://twitter.com/paoloardoino/status/1538155542643888128 and are there other factors that make usdt stronger?

I am not 100% sure how the mechanism behind USDT works but in general stablecoins are operating in a way that is trying to make sure that the price of one USDT is always at exactly 1USD. This means that the company behind USDT is minting new USDT when the demand is high and the price of one USDT is starting to become higher than 1 $ or they are burning USDT when the demand is low and the price would get lower than 1 $. This usually works pretty well when the market is realtively stable but when that big Terra Luna crash happened a few weeks or months ago the whole market was shaken and even a huge project like USDT cold not hold it's peg 100%.

Conte is really pissed from Bayern attitude to talk to media about being interested on Kane. He called that a bit disrespectful and that they should talk directly to Spurs although he consider Kane an important part of the club project.
From what I understood, it appears that Bayern won't get Kane this summer at least.

I think it was already pretty clear before this news that Bayern will not sign Harry Kane this summer. I mean come on Bayern already spent around 110 Million € already for Mane and De Ligt. Today Mathys Tel landed in Munich to do the medical checkup and he will probably sign a contract until 2027 tomorrow. Tel will also cost 28,5 Million € which is a huge amount of money for a 17 year old in my opinion. So Bayern already spent 140 Million € so far while they only got like 55 Million € back for Lewandowski, Marc Roca and Omar Richards. Kane would probably cost at least 80 or 90 Million € because he still has a contract until 2024 and there is no way that Bayern is spending 180 Million € in one transfer period. Bayern is reasonable with their money, unlike Barca.

Diego Costa is free agent now although there were several clubs from Saudi Arabia, England and Turkish clubs want him but he haven't decide which club will he choose and rumour is why he hasn't considering the offers from those clubs because he want to play in La Liga again and after heard this news Rayo Vallecano respond this immediately with attempts to get him with 1 year contract duration and actually Costa has been playing on Vallecano before in 2012 and possibly he will return to this team again

I did not have Diego Costa on my radar at all anymore i have to admit so when i read your post i first had to google his age to be honest and i was pretty surprised that he is "only" 33 years old. So in my opinion he is definitely still to young to join a club in Saudi Arabia or Qatar because i think that he can still play at least 2 or 3 seasons at the highest level if he is fit and stays healthy. Just look at Lewandowski for example. He is also 33 years old and FC Barcelona paid 45 M€ for him even though he only had one more year of contract at Bayern Munich. A few years ago Diego Costa was definitely one of the best strikers in europe. So i think he definitely can still help a lot of teams.
1187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: American Cancer Society Claims Dogecoin Donations Are Popular !!! on: July 25, 2022, 12:39:39 PM
American Cancer Society, a voluntary health organization that is focused on eliminating cancer, has revealed that Dogecoin is its third most donated cryptocurrency. The most popular meme coin accounts for 4% of all contributions received by the ACS. America’s largest non-governmental funder of cancer research started accepting Dogecoin donations back in May 2021. The organization makes it possible to make donations with a slew of different cryptocurrencies, including Dogecoin rival Shiba Inu, with the help of The Giving Block, a popular cryptocurrency donation solution.      Last year, the ACS launched its Cancer Crypto Fund campaign in order to raise $1 million for advancing cancer research. The goal was eventually met earlier this year. The organization says that crypto philanthropy is already having a “real impact.”

Well i think it is great that cryptocurrency is not only used in order to try to make quick and huge profits, but sometimes it is also used to do something good like in this case helping to fight cancer through donations. That being said i think the news it self is not that big of a deal for Dogecoin to be honest because it says "that Dogecoin is the third most donated cryptocurrency". I don't have the exact numbers but i would guess that more than 90% of the donations to the cancer society are made via FIAT and less than 10% of are made via cryptocurrencies and from that 10% Dogecoin is "only" the third most donated currency.

There are more and more sources saying that Ronaldo is interested in a move to Atletico. Apparently he wants to return to Madrid where he feels at home.
Atletico would have to reduce the wage bill to accommodate his wages - and it seems they are open to allowing Griezmann to leave.

It really seems like Cristiano Ronaldo desperately wants to play Champions League in the upcoming season which is understandable because he is already 37 years old and he will not have that many more seasons as a player probably. This means he does not want to "waste" a whole year playing at Manchester United where he can not compete in the Champions League.
If this is true then i also think that there is a good chance that Ronaldo will be also satisfied with a salary that is way lower than the one that he is getting at Manchester United at the moment. If he really wants to play Champions League then he has to accept a lower salary and i think he is fine with that.
1189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoins is a good way to keep and save money or not? on: July 24, 2022, 12:42:21 PM
What do you think about stablecoins, some scandals around them and their future? It is interesting to hear the opinion of the members of bitcointalk

I think that stablecoins are the best way to "park" your wealth that you have made doing trading or holding or whatever or if you brought new capital into the crypto space and are now waiting for a good project to come up to invest in or for a good moment to invest into a an already existing project or whatever. So i think stablecoins are great to keep your wealth for a short- or midterm time span. I definitely would not put a significant part of my total wealth into stable coins for years or something and then forget about it. For that the whole crypto space is still way to volatile and unstable just look at what happened to Terra and it's stablecoin.

Dortmund really needs to have a reliable striker. Honestly, Louis Suarez is not a player who can be relied upon, especially when he is 35 years old. And he also did not have a very successful season with Atlético de Madrid in the last season. Haller was going to be the main striker of Dortmund but right now it does not feel like he is going to be available very soon. Louis Suarez is a viable option but it would be preferable if Dortmund did not just rely on Louis Suarez to do all the scoring. Particularly if they want to improve on the results they got last season. He did not have success last season in my opinion but I know a lot of other people are more likely to disagree.

I also don't think that Borussia Dortmund is really considering to sign Luis Suarez. All that i have heard regarding that rumor is that the agent of Suarez has called the Dortmund officials a few days ago to offer the services of it's client to them after the news of Hallers diagnosis have spread. This is nothing special though and there were many mare agents that have Sebastian Kehl in the last few days. I don't think that it would make sense to spend a lot of money to buy a "big" striker now. If everything goes well for Haller then he can start training in a 6 to 8 weeks again and i think that Dortmund can do well 3 months or so even without Haller.

Barcelona's trying to hijack Kounde from Chelsea. Fabrizio Romano is reporting that they are preparing a bid, although Sevilla denies negotiating with anybody else apart from Chelsea.
Sevilla knows how to negotiate and will try to pull other clubs into a bidding war - Kounde is highly rated and there will be many clubs interested.
Still - Chelsea has been working on that deal for a very long time and he was their 1st choice CB, so I feel it's just Sevilla's game of extracting more money.

Ahh ok that is probably why the hashtag "brokelona" was trending yesterday evening at twitter and was recommended to me. I only knew it was started by Chelsea fans but i did not know why they started it until i saw this post and now it makes sense. To me it is also kinda ridiculous that Barcelona does not stop to try to make more big transfers this summer. I mean come on they have 1,3 Billion € of debts and they had to sell their TV rights, their marketing branch and other stuff which gave them around 500 M€ of income but instead of using that money to pay back a big part of their debts they just throw it out of the windows for transfers again. They really have learned nothing.
1192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's to make of the NFT craze in retrospect? on: July 23, 2022, 06:37:02 PM
It seems as though we've reached the lower tail of one of the most bizarre yet profitable markets in human history - and of course it had to stem from crypto. NFTs took off almost a year ago today, and it's fascinating to recount the journey in hindsight.

Well crazy to hear that it is already a year now that the NFT hype started. To be honest i never really had direct contact with NFT's at first. If i remember correctly i got my first NFT through an airdrop because i held token of a project that gave out NFT's to its holders and after that i got many more of those "free" NFT's because back then everyone was doing NFT's all of sudden. For me this was the first indicator that the NFT hype has reached it's peak and that it will probably only go downwards from that point on. I still think that NFT's have a use case for certain projects and functions but every crypto projects out there throwing around NFT's is just to much.

Each manager have special relationship with his player and I saw between Frankie de Jong and Erik Tan Hag as Manchester United manager both them have know each other. Tan Hag know how talented have by de Jong and he want his guide player when playing on Ajax Amsterdam move to Manchester United. But still can't reach with agreement transfer values make de Jong can't move to Manchester United or he keeps try stay with Narcelona for next season. Erik Tan Hag never give up how trying to get de Jong from Barcelona and he still find with midfielder player for Manchester United.

I think the only reason why a transfer off Frenkie De Jong to from Barcelona to Manchester United was ever treated as a real possibility was only because of the fact that Erik Ten Hag is now the coach of Manchester United. Everyone knows that Ten Hag and Frenkie De Jong had an incredible and very successful time together at Ajax Amsterdam and as far as i know they both really like each other. The fact that De Jong does not really want to come to Manchester United even though the new trainer is a huge fan of him and probably would do everything to sign him say all about the current state of Manchester United in my opinion.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 22, 2022, 07:51:07 AM
It's just a friendly game and against a weak American team but still Bayern's first match was glamorous. Especially new transfers showed their skills and scored some goals. That gives us a sneak peak of how new season would be without Lewandowski. Mane started with a penalty in the beginning of first half and De Ligt started second half with a goal. Zirkzee had a great year in Anderlecht and in U21 championship, now he wants the jersey here. Mane - Gnabry duo looked like they were going to do well together. This 4-4-2 tactic work well against lower teams. The real test will be Manchester City friendly game three days later. We might see another tactic there.

I watched the highlights of this match and i have to agree that Bayern looked pretty good in that match. The new players Mane, De Ligt and Gravenberch all showed a good performance in this match which is nice to see as it looks like if they are already part of the team. I think especially Gravenberch had some really good situations. Of course as you already said this was just a friendly match against a second tier team and Bayern Munich basically switched out the whole team in the second half so the result is really not meaning that much.
ManCity will be a harder game but it is also just a friendly game where both coaches will try out as many players as possible. The real test come will come with the first real match.
1195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: July 22, 2022, 07:45:49 AM
To me both look good, investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?

I think it depends on what you want to achieve with your money and what kind of money that you are using to invest. If you are using money that you can not afford to lose then i would definitely go for gold instead of crypto. Gold is very stable in terms of price movements and even if the financial markets go down like the did with the crash of the banks 14 years ago, gold remains stable or even starts to rise then. Of course it is also part of the truth that the potential ROI of gold is nowhere near as high as the one of Bitcoin. Just look at the last week. Bitcoin gained 11% in value in only 7 days. That are numbers that you will probably never see with gold.
1196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 21, 2022, 06:57:10 PM
It has been on the news that Real Madrid have no interest in signing Ronaldo. It is not a surprising situation actually because they didn't have any plans for bringing back Ronaldo in the near future. They already have Benzema and his performance was incredible last season. In these circumstances it isn't sensible for them to sign Ronaldo also. Let's say they did such thing then Benzema would stay behind him again like in the old times. This would decrease his productivity much more compared to before.

Well if Real Madrid has no interest to sign Ronaldo now then this basically means that they will never bring him back to Real, at least not as a player. Any team that want to have Cristiano Ronaldo as their player at least once probably wants to sign him now because in the end Ronaldo is already 37 years old and even though he is still in good shape and he is probably one of the most professional football players out their in terms of the right nutrition, recovery and training time also has an effect on Ronaldo and he will become less and less interesting to the big clubs the older he gets. I would guess that he still wants to earn a lot of money too which makes things even more complicated.
1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu's future on: July 21, 2022, 06:53:20 PM
According to my observations I think that this coin will grow but not really sure whether i should try to buy and hold some or try micro trading. I'm sure that there're lots of experienced traders who can give me an advice

I am not really a experienced trader as i am more the hodler type of guy but my advice to you would be to not invest into Shiba Inu because after all it is just a shit-coin with no use-case no purpose or anything that matters. It was created because Elon Musk made a few tweets about Dogecoin and the type of dog that is depicted in the Dogecoin logo is a Shiba Inu, that is literally the only reason why Shiba Inu exists. I have to admit that the guys behind Shiba Inu made some things right because it is pretty much the only meme-coin of the second generation that is still alive at the moment even though the meme-coin hype is dead now, thank god. In the longterm tough i think it only goes downwards for Shiba Inu.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 21, 2022, 10:28:07 AM
Manchester United might be losing their chance to sign Frenkie de Jong now. Because new rumours claim that he isn't intending to join Manchester United now. He is eager to join Bayern Munich or Chelsea if he will be sold. This can be related to one thing especially. Manchester United are in the Europa League now so he might not be wanting to play there again. He already experienced it with Barcelona last season. It wasn't very good for them. I understand him about this also as he is a qualified player.

It is pretty weird for me to see that Manchester United is not a top address for the best players in the world anymore. Like 10 years ago or so ManU was THE club where everyone wanted to play but this has significantly changed in the last few years obviously because of various reasons. Regarding Frenkie de Jong, i think that it makes totally sense for him if he does not want to leave FC Barcelona for Manchester United because in the end that would be a downgrade for him at the moment.
I am also 100% sure that Bayern Munich will not sign Frenkie de Jong. They have already signed Mane and De Ligt and therefore there is no chance that they would spend another 60 M € or more for De Jong and they already have great players on his position with Goretzka and Kimmich.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TIME's new cover: The metaverse will change everything!!! on: July 21, 2022, 10:22:39 AM
So what are your opinions on metaverse and how are you guys preparing for it? is it by participating in some of the highly advanced metaverse new projects launching in the space or accumulating some of the top existing ones?

If this is a recent cover of the Times Magazine then i have to say that they are almost 1 year late to the party because the big Metaverse hype started around a year ago if i remember correctly. So i don't know why they are publishing such an article now where all crypto projects and therefore also metaverse projects have lost so much value in the recent months and weeks.
I think it is the same with metaverse then with any other crypto trends. Once the hype is over and everything is calming down we can see what projects are really good and sustainable and which were only hopping on the hype train to make some quick and easy money. I do think though that metaverse has a great future but i also think that this could still be a few years away.

Bayern Munich are aiming to sign Harry Kane now after completing the de Ligt signing. They must be ready to spend whatever amount of money is needed to consolidate the weak points of the team. They have done this for their defense and it is time for doing the same for the forward position in the lineup. Harry Kane would be a fantastic signing for Bayern Munich but it is very difficult for them to make it happen now. It might be up to the money amount Bayern Munich are ready to spend too.

There is like 0 chance that Bayern Munich is signing Harry Kane this summer and there are several reasons for that. First of all Bayern already signed Mane who did cost 40 M€ and also only yesterday De Ligt who costs 67 M€ + 10 M€ of possible bonuses. For Harry Kane they would have to pay at least 90 M€ of transfer fee and there is no way that Bayern would pay that much after they have already spent a serious amount of money recently. Also they are interested in signing Tel from Rennes which is a very young but talented striker for the future and in the coming season they already said that they will probably not have a direct replacement for Lewandowski.
