1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Cinni | PoS | No premine | No IPO on: May 17, 2014, 02:52:48 PM
please dont pump
i will have a heart attack
Cry
remove the big buy walls
let it fall to around 11k
then make big sell walls and let people sell into my buy orders. then remove your sell walls and let it rise.

i lost too much money buying at 23k and selling at 11k

People might care if you weren't constantly spreading fud

most of us just find this funny
i wont spread any fud ever if i buy at around 11-12.5k

i just can't lose this much. i bought at 23k and sold at 11k i lost so much for no reason.

you should check your trading skills before complaining...Smiley
1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FairCoin (FAC) - NEW DEVELOPMENT TEAM - Innovation - Promoting Equality - on: May 17, 2014, 02:49:43 PM
Forget about this logo thing and get something serious done. The logo won't make any big difference, just a waste of time. When Sharecoin hits 700+ sat it will be done for FAC.

changing the logo doesn't help in making the value of coin high.More hard work is needed to make it worth.

Not to be blunt or anything, but what's holding you back to do some hard work for FairCoin?
Lots of hard work has been done and will be done - and it was all related to technical debt caused by the departure of the previous developer..
So please take a look at the backlog and find out how you can contribute.

Last thing; Imho the goal is not to make the value of the coin high. The goal is to create community acceptance for FairCoin by building a solid platform. Like I said before, that doesn't happen over night. 'Value' will come evidently.

Many people lose their patience. What stops them to join other coin community? There are so many coins. Why should they choose yours?
I appreciate your hard work, but you cant build a community when the price is only going down- That means that you LOOSE people's believe.
I held FAC since day 1. Yesterday i sold them all.
Good luck.

It means you were not part of the community your were just an investor looking at the price and counting his money.
This is where you fail.

1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Stability on: May 17, 2014, 02:29:00 PM

Well , I don't know where you've got those 4200 , 3600 and 3500 numbers to be honest or what they mean Smiley.

check cryptsy prices since last week, they mean prices in satoshi
[/quote]

OH right , I was looking at the wrong graphs , sorry.
1790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 17, 2014, 02:27:03 PM
Yes I was referring to btc price. If bulls don't seize opportunities when they arise, then surely price will go down. The good news doesn't seem to move the market, but I'm fairly sure that bad news will.

But the term "all the way" usually means 0 level.Do you really think we are going all the way down?
Might have to label you a permabear also Smiley.
1791  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 17, 2014, 02:23:17 PM
I've hodled through 6 months of Bear Fart,
I pray, the Gods of June will make it worth the wait.
=)))) That made me laugh.

Be carefully , lots of berries getting ripe in the forest so they might have enough ammo for another round of farts Smiley.
1792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | cPoW | PC mining | Stability on: May 17, 2014, 02:19:21 PM
i was thinking about using qrk as payment in store, in todays prices of qrk it is risky for qrk, for cheap items we have to spend o lot of qrk, seller will want to get money for sale so will dump qrk to get his fiat, mostly of sellers? will it be good for qrk price? we need more people who want to spent quark to buy something then sellers to accept qrk, otherway price will follow down, or maybe i am wrong?

example: 1 million holder will buy gold online using his qrk, seller of gold will try to get fiat for his sale so will sell quark on exchange, so he will be for long time dump it and price will not rise.

before we try to spend qrk on buying price should be higher i think or am i wrong?

It won't happen that way.
If 1000 merchants wil start accepting quark and 10 000 people will spend quark daily I'm willing to bet that the price won't go down but in fact will go x10 times in a flash.

yes, correct if 10 000 people will buy quarks again

you're looking at the whole picture in a too simplistic view.
This panic or merchants dumping their coins happened with BTC also and nothign happend.

Trust me , it's far better for quark to start being used than waiting for the price to go up... because...

Also , you can't have 10 000 users with one shop , but if 10 000 shops appear out of the lue , the 1 million users will follow.

if u r right 1 million will follow then ok, but last week i spent 300k qrk for mining equipmet, and seller dumped this coins last week, so u can check what happened with price then, he spent 300k qrk for 3 days and now from 4200 we are 3600 and it was 3500 when he sold it, and it was only sell of 300k i paid him, i am not panic because i bought then at 20-30 satoshi

Well , I don't know where you've got those 4200 , 3600 and 3500 numbers to be honest or what they mean Smiley.

Your opinion is noted however we are heavily invested and it is important we pursue all compliance procedures before we can launch.

We more than anyone else want to see LC 1.0 release as soon as possible. Guys thanks for your patience!

Then at least put some full pictures , not a bunch of cropped pics that actually don't show anything..
It's terrible to come up with something like that and let's not talk about how professional that is...

1796  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sudanese Muslim woman sentenced to death for Christian conversion on: May 17, 2014, 02:11:19 PM
I really don't think Muslims in USA are perceived as "peace-loving" .

They are. The Americans in general have a positive view about the local Muslims, who are mostly concentrated in cities such as New York, New Jersey, Dearborn, and LA. They are very heavily represented in some of the blue collar jobs, such as driving local taxis. However, Americans are having a negative view about the foreign Muslims, especially the Arabs and the Somalis.

Oh , you talked about how that country is seeing the community inside , not that their view on Muslims  in the same for all of them.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT INVEST IN ALTCOIN IPOs on: May 17, 2014, 02:09:22 PM
funny thing, those investors are even more of a scammers than who made the ipo

I don't get it?
How are they more of a scammer that the ones running the scam?
1798  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Turkey coal mine disaster: Least 238 dead on: May 17, 2014, 02:08:37 PM
We are talking about the 300+ people, who died because some multi-millionaire decided to cut down the security measures in the coal mine.

Well , this is what I was talking about.. rather than praying for the already dead ... hang the one who is to blame for it.
But , i'm sure nothing will happen and the news will cover another story in the years to come unfortunately.

I dislike the way the media is talking  , that's all .

Every single supporter of the Kiev-junta should read this article:

Sorry America, Ukraine isn’t all about you

http://pando.com/2014/05/14/sorry-america-the-ukraine-isnt-all-about-you/

Yes, and on that note another article:

Shale gas and politics: Are Western energy giants’ interests behind Ukraine violence?
http://rt.com/news/159588-east-ukraine-shale-deposits/

Quote
These are future profits that Kiev doesn’t want to lose.

“I would say that the economic interest in this case is what’s driving the coup regime in Kiev to launch military actions against its own citizens, because they stand to make a profit from these contracts signed by the previous government,” foreign affairs expert Nebojsa Malic commented to RT.

US energy giant Chevron signed a similar deal for $10 billion last year, but it is focusing on developing shale gas reserves in the West of Ukraine.

I love the way rt writes it's news Smiley
