Nice little quirky giveaway, shame they don't post to the UK, I would flood the supermarkets and libraries with them - Gives me a good idea!

This crypto does seem active but a lot of the links on the Front page seem dead, including http://adndice.cryptogames.pw, https://coinaccel.com/#market/37 and http://aiden.cryptorus.com

Also no live website or domain
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Internet connection and bitcoin on: July 21, 2015, 11:35:51 AM
Hello,
Recetly in this forum i found out that you can have bluetooth or NFC bitcoin wallet but this information is not really out there to new people for bitcoin.

In usa or uk or other bigger countries internet on a mobile phone is a must but in other countries its either low signal or very expesive or areas with no connections. I think they should be bigger awarness about this when it comes to paying with a bitcoin in a coffee shop in a small village. Maybe im wrong but i never really found any information about this.

Bluetooth / NFC are really an extentsion to light weight wallets, they aren't NFC chips with built in wallets. They are usually phone based wallets with the phone using NFC / Bluetooth to transmit / receive the Bitcoin client commands
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did my first Bitcoin presentation last week at a York Green Party meeting on: July 20, 2015, 03:30:46 PM
Thanks man. I was very nervous too, but the way to ease them nerves in the future is to do more.

What type of audience will you have?

I did the classic Andreas start by asking who had heard of Bitcoin and who had some. Was a good way to get started and help the nerves.

😀

It will be at a Bitcoin meet up, just about my company and my view on crypto currencies but want to start my own courses as well so will be a good springboard.

lol - I just watched another Andreas talk - great intro.

1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: https://bitcoinfoundation.org/transparency/ on: July 20, 2015, 10:32:28 AM
It is a great shame that such a public face of bitcoin has come to this, a dramatic lack of transparency by a once trusted foundation.
1734  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: Cyber currencies conference, trusts and legal aspects, London & Channel Islands. on: July 19, 2015, 08:40:50 PM
I saw a press release about this conference, did you manage to attend - how was it?
1735  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: UK Crypto meetings or get together. Mission On on: July 19, 2015, 07:47:13 PM
 Smiley

I subscribe to the Bitcoin Manchester but have noticed myself that it isn't very active, much like alot of UK crypto stuff including the The UK Digital Currency Association.

I have messaged Ash from Bitcoin Manchester to say I could do a talk there in the near future (Public speaking isn't my forte but I thought its worth a shot)

It would be good to bounce ideas around for discussions / activities for these meetups and get people feedback, splitting all costs among each other for a good weekend trip out sounds like a great idea aswell
1736  Bitcoin / Meetups / Re: UK Crypto meetings or get together. Mission On on: July 19, 2015, 11:43:22 AM
Hey guys,

I am based in the North-West of the UK aswell (Manchester) I do know of Bitcoin Manchester (Which I may be speaking at in the future). I am in the process of writing some course material for a group of people who have shown an interest in crypto currencies but would love to see more crypto currency events

1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or Credit Card For Videochat Sites? on: July 18, 2015, 11:04:34 PM
I recently helped a client set up a video chat site and although they paid for hosting with Bitcoin I also advised them to use Bitcoin on their site when they asked about helping them incorporate credit cards payments into their site as they were having issues with it !!
