Congrats on your win but if you had only read you would see that the names of whom you were gonna bet for were placed beside the addresses given  Why? then I would have lost.  I am not sure how it happened tbh. Probably I copied the bb address first assuming it to be of Rollin, then I copied the rollin address when I realized it was the wrong one which didn't actually get copy (have had issues with ctrl button on this PC) or it could be that I just assumed the first was the Rollin address or maybe theymos edited OP (switched the addresses) to make me win. |

No, both are the same. (you are ignoring the role of "boss" while taking into account the average loss) Case scenario. Players have say 10% chance of becoming a boss and getting refund. 45% to win and 45% to lose. Player makes 100 bets. 45 wins. 36 profit. 45 loss. 45 loss. 10 boss. Expected profit is 9. (20%*10*10*0.45) Or simply, the EV of the player and the EV of the house adds up to zero. In this case, the house has no advantage, so the player has no advantage either. (when the payout was 1.8x) tl;dr when the payout was 1.8x, the house edge was 0%.If the payout is made to 2x and the house also gives 20% of lost bets to the boss, the house edge would be -10% and the player's EV would be +10%. Edit: EV seems to be 10% to the players now I said high instead of 20% because of self-moderated thread.

So I was wondering, there is this thing called ban-evasion here. So if someone did this the result will be perma-ban, right? With this perma-ban, are all the alts get the same ban ? If then after that perma-ban of the account, Can the user still create another account without risking it to be banned?  Ban evasion will increase your existing to the next level. Thus if you are evading your first ban you may still come back after a longer time period has passed. A ban includes all accounts, no matter the length. The only exception is to create a new account (or use an existing unbanned one) to discuss your ban in meta. Its essentially the person that is banned not the account So that means any other account created after the perma-ban is safe to use and don't have the risk of getting banned for no reason at all? So it means that the IP of that person is already on the bad list of he forum right? Nope. Creating another account after perma-ban and start posting that would simply get you another perma-ban. shorena meant after a long (Edit, clarified: like ~100 years) period of time. As long as you stick to one of the main popular wallets I guess there won't be any problem. Just don't trust unconfirmed transactions and check balance with multiple block explorers that is not bc. I recommend btc.blockr.io I think, the one which does not spend UTXO or at least offers a choice not to spend the UTXO, will serve the best...
