Congrats on your win but if you had only read you would see that the names of whom you were gonna bet for were placed beside the addresses given Smiley

Why? then I would have lost. Grin

I am not sure how it happened tbh. Probably I copied the bb address first assuming it to be of Rollin, then I copied the rollin address when I realized it was the wrong one which didn't actually get copy (have had issues with ctrl button on this PC) or it could be that I just assumed the first was the Rollin address or maybe theymos edited OP (switched the addresses) to make me win.

Can you put some light on what happened with the amazon code trade exactly?

The transaction hash don't exist more (from you to us)
they all vanished because of that unconfirmed transaction rejected by blockchain, that's why ndnhc have store all transaction logs

I intended to bet for Rollin but actually made the bet for Betterbets. idk how that happened when I checked the rollin address I couldn't find my bet lol. Wow.  Shocked

In the image Rollin is placed first and betterbets later, but in lising the addresses Betterbets was placed first and Rollin.io later.

So I bet for BB while I thought I was betting for Rollin to win it and won. Epic. Grin

@ndnhc, the method of choosing the "boss" hasn't been declared,

The site lacks information on how the boss is picked and also what the payout on win is.

Quote
so until then the game is negative edge to players at 1.8x.

No, you don't understand. I am saying it is 0% edge to the player because the boss is NOT the house at the moment. It was 1JUVegNWquDxHJN37CHPp6V7rLTnaDcgmS (could be the house or a player. idk) and now me.

All I am stating is house edge was 0%. Not 10%. Not 20%. I do not disagree with anything else you said.

isn't better you simple restart it?

just pay this lasts unconfirmed one winners (less then 0.003 BTC)

use a new hotwallet and start again

Yes, Devs are working on this , thank you very much for supporting our game  Smiley

Is the big boss feature still working?

If it is wouldn't it pose a risk to the house since the EV of the player would be 10%?

Conventional definition of house edge is “the ratio of all money lost by players to the total money they wagered.” Unless you consider players individually, the house edge in the previous set up was indeed 0%.

wizardofodds seem to disagree with you.

The house edge is defined as the ratio of the average loss to the initial bet. The house edge is not the ratio of money lost to total money wagered.

No, both are the same. (you are ignoring the role of "boss" while taking into account the average loss)

Case scenario.
Players have say 10% chance of becoming a boss and getting refund. 45% to win and 45% to lose.

Player makes 100 bets.
45 wins. 36 profit.
45 loss. 45 loss.
10 boss. Expected profit is 9. (20%*10*10*0.45)

Or simply, the EV of the player and the EV of the house adds up to zero. In this case, the house has no advantage, so the player has no advantage either. (when the payout was 1.8x)

tl;dr when the payout was 1.8x, the house edge was 0%.
If the payout is made to 2x and the house also gives 20% of lost bets to the boss, the house edge would be -10% and the player's EV would be +10%.

Edit: EV seems to be 10% to the players now  Shocked

I said high instead of 20% because of self-moderated thread.

It is either 10% if you go by shorena's interpretation, or 0% if you go by mine (i.e. house edge is EV of the house).
1651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ralobot: Concerns about the dodgy nature of the owner on: October 13, 2015, 06:17:14 PM
Conventional definition of house edge is “the ratio of all money lost by players to the total money they wagered.” Unless you consider players individually, the house edge in the previous set up was indeed 0%.

The house is not the boss at the moment (I am), so the house does not have any advantage at the moment.

Ralobot.com should consider to revert it back to 1.8x instead. At the moment, the players have a high positive EV.
The site lacks information on how the boss is picked and also what the payout on win is.

..show that the house edge is 20%

Even as per that interpretation the HE is 10%. Wink
OP stated 1.8x payout on win and also explained the boss feature (though not how it was won), so I don't think any misstatement was involved. He shouldn't have deleted your posts though.

Having a bit trouble here. (archive : https://archive.is/gUMyX )

I have won a 0.0008 bet. Bet : https://blockchain.info/tx/3f84741128d6462de24bd4e68cc867889e1e4ad90cbb72574731c2b76a138a61 Confirmed.
and got a win amount back : 0.00144 https://blockchain.info/tx/a746601c986c246573d185957fca083cd9a4a19f0abed9a7a35bbf408b16c07b Not confirmed.
But this tx is unlikely to confirm.

Without knowing it I send a 0.00134BTC bet and became the boss. But the problem is since the input is not confirmed, that tx will not be confirmed either.

Can you check into this On why the win payout is not getting confirmed https://blockchain.info/tx/a746601c986c246573d185957fca083cd9a4a19f0abed9a7a35bbf408b16c07b  / https://archive.is/NfhUs?

I hope you are not using blockchain.info wallet too?
1654  Other / Meta / Re: If a member here gets a perma-ban, can the user still create another account? on: October 13, 2015, 03:18:48 PM
So I was wondering, there is this thing called ban-evasion here. So if someone did this the result will be perma-ban, right? With this perma-ban, are all the alts get the same ban ? If then after that perma-ban of the account, Can the user still create another account without risking it to be banned? Roll Eyes

Ban evasion will increase your existing to the next level. Thus if you are evading your first ban you may still come back after a longer time period has passed.

A ban includes all accounts, no matter the length. The only exception is to create a new account (or use an existing unbanned one) to discuss your ban in meta.

Its essentially the person that is banned not the account

So that means any other account created after the perma-ban is safe to use and don't have the risk of getting banned for no reason at all? So it means that the IP of that person is already on the bad list of he forum right?

Nope. Creating another account after perma-ban and start posting that would simply get you another perma-ban. Smiley
shorena meant after a long (Edit, clarified: like ~100 years) period of time.

Yeah, the IP would get evil points.

So the laws of math clearly show that the only person who can possibly win at this game long term is the broker!

Wait.. you thought sites (or every business) is supposed to give money away for free?

It is possible for players to win in the short term (realistically speaking) and that is why players play.

1660  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet is working the best in face of malleability ? on: October 12, 2015, 06:49:35 PM
As long as you stick to one of the main popular wallets I guess there won't be any problem. Just don't trust unconfirmed transactions and check balance with multiple block explorers that is not bc. I recommend btc.blockr.io

I think, the one which does not spend UTXO or at least offers a choice not to spend the UTXO, will serve the best...

I don't know which one works the best, but I do know which one works the worst definitely.

Stay away from blockchain.info wallet !!!

Yeah, but at the moment, blockchain.info seems to have fixed it. No more negative or huge balances. Cheesy
