Wow, ndnhc hit the 90% bonus tier level. BTW, on a side note, I'm envious of your moneypot gambling stats. All green Wink

LOL, thanks. Cheesy

Wanted to check whether betting on 0 had a positive EV. Grin
It doesn't. same edge.
2382  Economy / Gambling / Re: [TEASER][PRELAUNCH] Roulett.oshi.XYZ - Roulette with house edge as low as 0.27% on: August 18, 2015, 11:15:45 AM
Nice and sleek design but no faucet like other powered by moneypot, you have any plan to add faucet in future?

It doesnt actually matter though because all your balance is connected to all application in Moneypot. This is a bit inconvenience but for the meantime you can go to the other and claim the faucet, withdraw the bits from the apps and deposit it to this site for tryout

Found few funky things :

#1  There are no clear chip button, you might want to add that

#2  You can put more chip than your balance but you cant spin it and it will show

Code:
NOT_ENOUGH_BALANCE

Now the funny part is that after you click OK there, you cant put more chip on the table or discard the chip ( since there are no clear chip button ), all you can do will be to refresh the page which is pretty inconvenience

#3  The "user list" is kinda screwed, Im using firefox btw

#4  When trying to open the page using chrome, I got this error instead

Code:
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

#1 Right click and it will decrease by the chip value. 0 if it goes below that.

#2 Kind of sees something like that in every app. For Betterbets, if I deposit 0.1, reload balance, withdraw it, I can still make it bet but the error shows up. Sad

#5 I am not sure what happens if my bet is on 0 and it rolls 0?
2383  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: August 18, 2015, 10:24:31 AM
they can't withdraw to an app/wallet/address/user).

Changing it this way will means that Moneypot hold absolute control of the funds and pretty much weird I think. If someone intended to "not use" the funds for X period of time then the person could just withdraw it and keep the funds safe by himself ( just my 2cents for this  Cheesy )

What I mean is, to give an option of investing and divesting funds while the funds are locked. Get what I mean?
The version I suggest will suit this purpose more than the one added, in effect giving more flexibility to the investor:

Quote
Often people have given me money to hold, normally to prevent themselves from gambling. Well now we have an automated solution if you don't trust your future-self

Edit:
Changing it this way will means that Moneypot hold absolute control of the funds and pretty much weird I think.

Not so. Changing it would mean Moneypot will have the same control as it would have for locked funds.
I am only talking about funds that are locked by the user for the period. Huh
You can't withdraw locked funds anyway.

Edit2:

This version means that you will NOT be able to DIVEST for 30 days.

My suggested version means you will be able to INVEST and DIVEST as you like, but you can't bet. Smiley
Might need to show separate locked and unlocked funds, but that and a bit more work is all that is needed for implementing this.

Maybe the V refers to a youtube video? All urls are like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=...........

Can we combine this with "There is no spoon"?

The first part might be addressed here:

5ec854f607dab874c4dbd244bcabc3b7c5643ff38d766984e8e7aa4ce11f1235

Check this in the blockchain and add a .xyz to go to a domain.

We have a logo, favicon.ico -> V.
Hint was given on chat that V stands for 5.

Any guess on the password?

New Feature: Divestment Lockouts

Often people have given me money to hold, normally to prevent themselves from gambling. Well now we have an automated solution if you don't trust your future-self

On the investment tab, checkout our "Divestment Lockout" feature:

Not a good feature, IMO. Wink

It would mean that an investor will not be able to divest when profits are going off the cliff. Not even when he notices a very highroller with a giant bankroll trying to beat Moneypot.
Good for the site, tho, makes sure investor money is locked to it.
Constructive criticism. Supposed to be good. Grin

I suggest changing it. May be allow divest (or invest), but funds are still locked (that they can't withdraw to an app/wallet/address/user). Would mean more flexibility. Smiley

May I ask what the OP has done though? He's clearly been found to have those alts but what have these accounts done? Scammed people or what?
The OP is an alt of yenzae0215, and dznuts85. yenzae0215 defaulted on a loan in March from MadZ, and dznuts85 took money from girlbtc.com to manage their signature campaign but instantly ran away with the funds. It should also be noted that dznuts85 lied about his account being sold in an effort to get his negative trust removed, although this claim was quickly disproven.

lol why would anyone have trusted dznuts85 with an escrow? Anyways I agree QS does good for the community! Thanks for all the efforts in busting these scammers.

Not taking any sides here.

I had kept warning girlbtc.com right from the start about the possibility of getting scammed, about using escrow and related standard practices we generally follow. Even offered my help. None of the advice was taken but kept saying to post on the thread instead of using PM. And then she/he picks someone and does everything he asks without question. Funny, lol. Wink

dznuts85 is a scammer. That is the part I am sure about. Smiley
2388  Economy / Gambling / Re: Legal advice: Legality and Illegaliy of things. on: August 17, 2015, 09:49:12 AM
If someone in your circle reports you that you gamble online with bitcoins you may be in legal trouble because they can slap you with a lot of fines and possibly go to jail. I would suggest not mentioning any gambling sites whatsoever.

Are you sure about that? Well, consider that I have not bought or sold bitcoins yet. Nor have I bought anything with it. This is just pastime. Smiley

I am not an expert in the slightest. Plus that pastime you have is regulated in your country. Bitcoins are not regulated in Europe still as far as I know. I think only Russia did something. Have you tried opening some online sportsbooks like Bet365 or Bwin? Heck even Betfair needed a license.

You are enjoying yourself with unregulated money for regulated fun lol.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country

I never said Bitcoin is regulated in my country. It isn't. Huh

And I am not talking about operating any gambling site either.
Operating a sportsbook without license is certainly illegal.

Edit: what does regulated fun mean? This is a more precise replies I'd expect.

Things are not clear yet. We have to wait....

In regards to paying taxes, the most likely answer would be to declare any income you earn from your gambling as well as any earnings from owning the gambling site and from payments from your running the signature campaigns.

I have not yet bought or sold bitcoins.

Can I declare it together when I cash it out? It is more convenient (than keeping track of all this - income, gains, losses, long term capital gains, etc.) though I will end up paying more tax this way.

while I always maintained my profit.

Now that I look at it, it seems you are pretty much "good" with gambling. Your status in moneypot clearly shown that you are in profit for all the sites that you gambled on . Quite a nice achievement indeed, I lost around 0.03 in Jackpotracer from the last wagering contest  Wink

On a side note, I was going to snipe in the wagering contest ( at the last minutes ) as well aiming for the third rank as I only needed less than 0.6 BTC wagered but turns out that I was a bit busy and I feel bad to snipe in pahlevi that has been wagering for hours . Congratulations for all the winners btw  Smiley

Thanks lol. Wink

Yeah, it was +EV till 1BTC for 3rd place. Smiley

Edit: Receipt of 40k bits confirmed. Thanks Cheesy

Site kinda sucks in terms of the community. Nothing but Russians sucking the life out of it. Rather sad really.

Probably learn Russian?

Is there a bitcoin chess game where you can bet against your opponent?

There certainly might be (I remember one, but no idea where it is) but the idea doesn't go since it is easily exploitable by using a bot. So you never know whether you are playing with a real person or a computer.

I am quite happy with 2nd place. He needs 0.14 more than me coz he lost more while chasing it, while I always maintained my profit.

Good luck.  Cool
