1681  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: blockchain.info Problem with Wallet on: October 06, 2015, 05:28:43 AM
I thought someone else had the same problem.

So... it's just the support page... well, OK.

Of course you are not alone. Cheesy

My balance was in the negative for hours lol.

Just wait it out. It would be okay after a few hours. If you want to know your real balance check another block explorers. You may also be able to spent as usual though the balance shown on the wallet is wrong.

All of the amounts were the same.  Roll Eyes

Are they all confirmed transactions?
1683  Other / Meta / Re: Someone from DefaultTrust just killed my pot. Sr. Member account for no reason! on: October 06, 2015, 05:00:25 AM
To say that someone should not have trading experience to be in the DefaultTrust network is ridiculous. If they have no experience trading then what would they be doing looking at marketplace threads where the scams are going to be taking place?

No, having trading experience shouldn't be and is not a qualification for being on DT.
What would they be doing looking at Marketplace threads then? What incentive would they have to have to be reasonable with individual trust ratings? If they have no trading experience then why would they have sent any trust ratings?

AFAIK the qualification should be that
the person is trustworthy and
the person leaves reasonable trust ratings.

Past trades may indicate trustworthiness but it isn't the only indicator. Well, theymos and BadBear isn't on DT because of trades. Grin

There are DT members with 0 trust score and quite qualify being on Default trust than many others.

No, not having trading experience shouldn't be and is not a disqualification from being on DT.
1685  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge: What's the best way to win 1 BTC with 1 BTC? on: October 06, 2015, 03:22:23 AM
Easiest way, go to a site that offers x2, go 1 coin all in, then wait for the results. Tongue

Easiest but not the best way,we are looking for best way.

It is the easiest and the best way too. Smiley

Some people don't see it because it is difficult to get a faulty impression that it is +EV while other strategies might confuse the player into thinking so.

The less the house edge the better. and more promos the better.
AFAIK, there are Moneypot apps with 0.1% edge (not sure if it still is applicable for 1 BTC bets). There are also other sites like Rollin which offers less than 1% edge depending on levels and also running wagering competitions.

I use BitDefender at the moment.

Would like a key too. Cheesy
1688  Economy / Gambling / Re: Has this ever happened to you in Gambling or it's just me? on: October 05, 2015, 05:41:22 PM
Lost multiple bets in odds like 1.2x, 1.09x and 1.05x. It is completely normal. Grin

Quoting a post here, because it answers some questions.

First I would like to clarify that this problem is not in our system but rather a general Bitcoin network problem where duplicated conflicted transactions are being broadcasted.

You will notice that one of the transaction will confirm by the Bitcoin network normally and the other one will be canceled.

Simply ignore the duplicated canceled transaction. It will never confirm by the Bitcoin network and no funds will be deducted from your wallet for it.
Consequently no payout will be issued for the duplicated canceled bet transfer.

So the bottom line is, you can continue and bet normally and ignore the unreal duplicated conflicted transactions.
1690  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★No.1 BITCOIN BINARY OPTIONS ★HIGHEST REWARD 190%★1% DOUBLE DICE★EXPIRY:1~720MIN on: October 05, 2015, 05:20:39 PM
However this isn't my case. The 2nd bet "loser" is the one that counted and the 1st bet "winner" I never got paid for.

When I look up the trans ID it is directed to the 2nd bet.

So there is nothing that the admin can do to prevent this? Since its a bitcoin node problem?

hehe sorry. It could happen both ways. But all the three times I experienced it was when the txid I created got confirmed and the fake tx got rejected, so I assumed it is incapable of being getting confirmed.

Edited that post.

I don't know if it can be prevented by switching to another API, since block explorers like btc.blockr.io (the one I use) either doesn't show it or immediately rejects it after 1 conf. Most likely nope.
1691  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lucky Dice on: October 05, 2015, 04:22:52 PM
tbh, domain shouldn't be that a big deal. OP might have intended it just as kind of a test site before working on something better. Buy a domain and all the players on the forum will compete to play at the site?  Cool
1692  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - NEW VIP Program - Dice RAKEBACK on: October 05, 2015, 04:20:29 PM
Hi PRC, sent you a PM Dean let me know Smiley

1693  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice Affiliate Program on: October 05, 2015, 03:32:37 PM
Rollin offers 15% of House Edge. A pretty good deal, imo. Smiley
1694  Other / Meta / Re: Newbie newly registered and has an avatar? on: October 05, 2015, 02:43:31 PM
Theymos accidentally[1] set everyone's activity to 1568 and everyone could have an avatar. It's fixed already though.

[1]https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1200720.0

Okay thanks for letting me know, but shouldn't Theymos remove that avatar now?
He barely has time for the forum, I don't think he will manually remove it even if it was possible.
At any rate the avatars ,I think, will be removed any time an activity update is up and the user is online.

Yeah, he doesn't really have any reason to, lol. Smiley

No, I don't think it would be removed then. That is very unlikely. Had I uploaded an avatar when I joined (in 2013), even when it was disabled later it would still be there. So did all those accounts who had an avatar at that time. IIRC, there was even animated gifs, not sure if it is still there though.
Once it is uploaded it will stay unless the admin removes it.
1695  Economy / Games and rounds / You lost? Blame it on the blockchain on: October 05, 2015, 02:11:26 PM
I have a feeling I would have hit a x999 had a transaction that should have gone through, gone through. Grin

It didn't because one of my previous transaction duplicated and messed up my wallet to negatives lol
1696  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Molotov Give Away! 1.3 on: October 05, 2015, 02:07:12 PM
I am sorry you are mad about places, I got lax on a rule that I should have been keeping up.

Mad and crazy, all for the massive sum of 0.001BTC that could potentially be worth millions of dollars soon. Sad

Yeah, you messed up on rules. Only one entry was valid. Better luck next time. Grin
1697  Economy / Gambling / Re: Challenge: What's the best way to win 1 BTC with 1 BTC? on: October 05, 2015, 02:02:55 PM
The less riskiest way to do it is:

1. Pick a dice site with the LOWEST house edge for a bet profit of 1BTC.
2. Roll 1BTC at 2x.

Done. Cheesy

For say a dice site of 0.1% edge, it would only be 0.001BTC house edge.

It is actually the BEST strategy there and of course still negative EV but the only thing wrong with it is, it takes the fun part out.
1698  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★No.1 BITCOIN BINARY OPTIONS ★HIGHEST REWARD 190%★1% DOUBLE DICE★EXPIRY:1~720MIN on: October 05, 2015, 01:56:28 PM
What if the first bet is a win but the second bet is a lose?

Usually it is the first tx (the one that appeared first before being pushed down to second on the pic) that is valid and the one that goes through. Whatever happens to the first bet or with the txid that shows up in your wallet (in bc wallet both show up) is the real one. If it wins, it is a win, if it is a lose, it is a lose. Ignore the other one.

Edit: Whatever happens to the one labelled "correct bet". The other one (top one on the image) is the one that was created and rejected as duplicate.

In fact, if you check other sites like Directbet many bets got two bets from a single tx. It is there in many sites and not just in secondstrade. Hopefully it is been there since just 2 days and it should go away soon.

Edit2: Updated my info. Grin
Any one of the two could be confirmed or rejected. The transaction resulting from the malleability attack is also capable of being confirmed, but only one would of course.

Now that players can earn raffle tickets as well as buy them, how about an option to sell or trade them?

At a discounted rate to the house, or between players where the house can take a small fee.
1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 05, 2015, 01:47:40 PM
No no no, not everyone. What about the owners? Grin

if nobody ever won in the long run why people are still playing?

They expect to win in the short run or hit big and retire.
