the Bitcoin Price rose by more than 80% just in 2 years!!

Wow. Cheesy

40% per year growth? Nah it is more like around 10000% in the first year, 1000% in the next couple of years, -50% now, 1000% in 2016, 10000% in 2017..
1824  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: II FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet- Registration Open on: September 23, 2015, 10:31:48 AM

Well I can't really see it that way. The bank should not affect your decisions if you are confortable with your bets. The way I see it, if you are pretty sure about your bet, go with the 5% by all means, but if you are not so sure and are making a risky bet (probably at high odds of course, or a big parlay) bet 1% or 2% of your current bankroll because you will probably lose.

You bets must be more agressive or more conservetive because of the bet itself and not the bank. If the bet is risky there is no reason to waste 5%, if the bet is secure, then go for it. That was the problem with many players in the last competition, they were always using the max 5%.

No, mate. Betting with 1BTC bankroll is certainly harder than betting with 0.02BTC bankroll. I am comfortable with a 0.02-0.2BTC range, but the 3x is making me reconsider it. With 1BTC bankroll I will completely avoid making even slightly risky bets. I will be picking either 0.02BTC or 1BTC.

No bets are secure.  Cool

Edit: You are right. But the problem is I am only partially comfortable with that bet size. 7 more days. Thinking..
1825  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: II FREE Tipster Competition -sponsored by DirectBet- Registration Open on: September 23, 2015, 10:11:57 AM

Well that happen not because of the bank they used, but because of the players that made them!
Small banks did not had any advantage over large banks.
The value does not give any real advantage (on this one it just gives better prizes), so it's really up to you.
The question is, do I feel confortable in betting 0.05 BTC? If so, I see no reason not to go with the bak that gives better prizes.

True. What I am saying his the bankroll affects the decisions. Bets would be more conservative with a higher bankroll and relatively more aggressive with a lower bankroll.

If I have like a 20 btc to risk, I wouldn't be bothered. So, I am just considering. Smiley

Last one.. That address for received winning bet rite?? So i can send from any address and i dont need to place a bet with that address rite??

Yeah, as long as you enter your payout address, it doesn't matter from which address the bet is placed. Smiley

It is a difficult decision.

I am a little confused about deciding, lol. The

Generally, in the last contest the smaller bankrolls won.

1832  Economy / Gambling / Re: Magicaldice.com | Officially Launched | Bitcoin Dice Website | Fancy Rolling on: September 22, 2015, 06:09:43 PM
Colors are magical. To place bet and feel fancy rolling you have to click Fancy rolling instead of the Roll the Dice button
i never understood what that fancy rolling means ?
i mean i dont see any significant difference..loll
Fancy rolling gives the kind of suspence you might be looking for big bets for say(for me)- a bet of 1 btc while the roll numbers slowly turn and creates the suspense for either my win or loss

Yeah, exactly. It's just for people that want to have something slow to create more suspense. It will be designed a lot better in magicaldice 2 though as well as being more user-friendly.

I absolutely love it as long as it is a win. Cheesy

It has been decided that the rules will be honored and edited entries will be disqualified. Sorry about that, but I guess I have to follow the rules.

He wasn't online later or he could have seen erwin's post and corrected it or something. Right now, it is too late, and the entry stands disqualified.

Please post your bitcoin addresses along with your Da Dice username if you want anything. Grin

As ndnhc announced a bit earlier, we came to an conclusion to honour the Roll Prediction Contest:

All winners are asked to please post their bitcoin address in the competition thread at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1156642.0 and we will pay accordingly direct to their bitcoin addresses.

DaDice has always honoured all of its competitions. DaDice has even paid bitcointalk.org member ajareselde 0.1 btc, despite the fact that he was indeed not the winner of the 750th million prediction competition, since it has been agreed with the community that the time after the downtime will be considered winning time for the prediction and all agreed. Since he virtually stalked me, I finally agreed to pay him 0.1 btc. However, ajareselde didn’t find it noteworthy to mention it here, despite his many posts in this thread since then!!! Is a honest community member acting like that ?

What is your mean by this if you want anything, is you are going to make payment to all participants there so you are asking for their bticoin address?

jk, if you want the prize money. lol. I wasn't expecting my post to be closely examined. Sorry. Wink

Fixed.
