Ok so I have read everything, all the papers pictures etc. One thing I cannot reconcile, maybe someone could explain it to me.
Why would anyone, at present, accept URO for Urea? they would be receiving a huge amount less than if they accepted USD and would lose a vast sum of money on the deal.
I put myself in the seller position, someone comes up to me and says, here you go mate, please accept 12500 URO for this purchase of a shipment of Urea. I look at the price of URO and say 'you mad bro? give me 375K USD or get the fuck out of here.
What is the motivation for the seller to accept the URO on this deal?
The motivation is that now the seller has 12500 URO and can go out and acquire urea if and when he needs it from another seller. The market price of URO is irrelevant because the 12500 URO represents the urea. This is a huge benefit because it removes the price fluctuations of the urea market. The only reason URO price is low now is because many urea business people don't know about URO yet and add that to the constant morons fudding in here keeps the price low. I'm actually really liking the FUD because it's giving me more time to buy more URO. This will revolutionize commodity markets. I worked for 5 years in chemical distribution in Canada. OK but a business needs to transfer their profits to fiat at some point. Businesses need cash to survive, employees need to be paid, rent needs to be paid, taxes need to be paid. If their profits are in URO and URO value is much lower than fiat value they are still losing money. They won't be loosing money, because after every dick and dom and harry find that the Urea has been delivered for the price 1 Uro = 1 tonnes of Urea, they would be buying the coins on the exchanges until we reach a value close to urea maybe even more to play the ETF market, and they will save so much money on bank fees. Why on earth would a speculator tie up his btc when uro gets near the price of urea, knowing it's not going to go much over it? there is no chance to gain. The uro price only went to .04 because of hype it could go to .4, without chance of significant gains nearly all traders will be OUT. Jebus, there just is no logic in this thread except from fudders. You want proof this is a scam? use your fuckin brain. |

Some questions for dev:
Can you elaborate on the "stealth" feature I see in wallet?
Can you elaborate on the anon technology currently existing + in the works (I2P, Tor, etc.)?
Also, as a community let's work together on bounties.
What about a bounty for a major article, major retailer, or first Stealthcoin-only dice or sportsbetting site?

Thanks for all of your questions, statdude. Fortunately things are settling down a little bit from launch. We have updated a list of bounties at the bottom of the OP. Premine transparency is a top priority. Anyone may perform a complete audit of the premine using the information we post at the bottom of the OP. The plans for stealth are to integrate two types of privacy protection, also called "anonymity" in the current environment. These protections are (1) blockchain analysis resistance and (2) network analysis resistance. The latter, network analysis resistance, is already provided by Tor. Tor runs by default and is not optional. All network traffic for Stealth Coin is routed through Tor, without exception. The second part of our plan is to implement privacy protection against blockchain analysis, using true cryptography and not centralized mixers. There are several ways to accomplish this task, but the most promising is by using a plausible deniability signature system in which transactions are signed with cryptographically modified private keys, such that the relationship of a public key to any of its transactions may not be determined with certainty. In a few days, we will be able to respond to offers for articles, dice games, and sportsbetting. But these activities will have to wait at least two more days. Proof-of-Stake is beginning soon and we need to have the full team available at that time to ensure it goes smoothly. We have done much testing of Proof-of-Stake, but things are much different when a network is live and people need dependable transaction processing. We are confident we have done a good job, but it is best to be prepared for unpredictable circumstances. Are you expecting this to be working when pos starts? |

Does this coin really have better anonymity than Monero, DRK and all the other anon-coins?
There are plenty of cryptos riding on the anonymous fad, there isn't a single one which is truly anonymous except us as far as we know. About paying 2-3btc to Bittrex to get added - We rather use that on future development than pumping at this stage, they will add us for free eventually. I read comments like this, but then I read the dev saying he wouldn't pay more than 1k sats for NUD in it's current stage of development and with only 700k total coins. Is the developer just being incredibly modest or are you being overly optimistic? If this coin really offers the best anon out there, it's worth .05 easily but it's trading at 10k sats, which is 10x more than the dev feels it's worth right now. Something isn't making sense. The dev is being super modest or a perfectionist, lol. having a complete anon solution/escrow/delegate/mixing/bcrypt algo and etc but the development stage is still at v 0.0.0.4, that only means one thing though - that there are more good things coming for NUD.  So you saying I should buy every NUD I can get my mits on under 100k sats? |

This thing is turning into a freakin disaster. The first hour panic buying  followed by regret shown by 7k sells. I wouldn't be surprised to see this IPO selling in the 4ks tomorrow. I swear, this whole scene has just run out of juice, it's hard to even find a convincing scam anymore. Dev if you read this: if you expect this coin to do anything other than tank hard, you should double up on the coins people bought so they get them for 4k sats. Still too expensive, but maybe not fatally so. I think there's a fairly easy way to do it. Just offering friendly advice, I wouldn't pay over 2k sats for this shit personally. |

I hope it is not just another MIL, remember that coin. Also based on 8000sats then we are talking about a maketcap of 500BTC, or more then $300,000 for a coin that doesn't offer anything special, i'm wondering how IPO investors will make money on this one? Do they think that it will double? If the IPO price was 2000 sats then i would have join, but a coin with marketcap of $300,000 is pretty high.

Do people get some weird personal satisfaction from creating fud? This is not only strange behavior but just plain weird. If you don't like a coin simply don't invest. Everyone who has been in crypto for years knows half of all ipo's return 100-200% profit but obviously it's a gamble in EVERY coin (ipo, premine, or nothing). TLDR stop being pompous people.
PS: when a dev team does not profit from their own creation this is the first indication to run as there is no chance they will develop it for free. Just like i'm sure none of you work for free right?
100% agree, too much haters arround Bullshit. There is nothing wrong with people who see a terrible risk and warning others. There is something wrong with people who want to shut them up so they can later rip people off however. |

Scratching my head big time here. Coin offers nothing new except a rip off of Talkcoin's mining algorithm. Huge ipo price for unknown new coin. 5 days of POW to follow then POS coin that is no different from a thousand other existing coins.
Someone explain why they are buying this at 8k sats? ask yourself this, if the only reason is others are buying it that's usually a terrible reason that only leads to loss. Who the hell is going to pay over 8k sats during or after POW phase? seriously?
