Well DARKSEND is nothing more than coinjoin and DRK itself is a 50% premined scam.. the dev and his buddies mined over 1.5Million coins and THEN CHANGED THE ALGO this is public information and it is sad that people can't see it for what it is Wow... just wow. Remember that too many masternodes is a bad thing. There's a sweet spot and 1000 DRK per node will get us there.

Also, there are already nodes with fractional ownership Ah ! I hadn't thought of that. Is that the new stuff that was introduced with RC3 ? i.e. the people can "pool" their holdings and receive MN payments based on the proportion of their contribution ? ok, I'm reasonably ok about that again. I like running a masternode but don't really want to turn myself into an "elite" holder. I'd prefer if everyone had some horse in the race and the MN 'pooling' sounds like one way to facilitate that. What about the VRC pump ? Should I throw some BTC at it ? I've resisted so far but the 4hr chart is now 20 degrees off the vertical with no major correction in 5 days. What's this "Verisend" stuff ? AntonyNakamoto says that POS anonymity is always going to be centralised but DRK's implementation is vulnerable to sybil attacks. I probably prefer the odd sybil attack over the centralisation but I'd like to explore more anyway. It's not a feature, but rather someone from the community offered a masternode setup service. I feel like screaming like a little giiiirl !!!....Got another MN payout  I just got another one as well. But aren't we in danger of creating 2 tiers of DRK "citizens" ? An "elite" Masternode class who get interest payments, and the rest who get nothing. This thread is rapidly becoming the domain of the former. They'd better hope their 'lesser' compatriots don't dump for another one that gives them 'staking interest' whatever the size of their holding. Just saying - we might as well acknowledge and discuss this before the fudsters start ramming it down our throats. That will become irrelevant once DRK is open sourced and starts to see real use. No, I dont think that it can go up to 100dollars. I guess drk is just a hype, it will reach 30dollars at most and like the ltc it will again stagnate at 10dollars.

Monero has some fundamental problems that need to be solved. There is strong evidence that some, like denomination bloat, cannot be solved, rendering CN coins DOA. |

Anyone suggesting that DRK is a scam is either envious or clueless. NXT's success shows that an instamine (100% premine in NXT's case) is utterly meaningless. All that matters is features. If DRK continues to deliver, no one will care about how it was mined. Except the same losers who continue to (ineffectively) FUD.

Perhaps I am too new to the altcoin universe but the level of actual FUD recently is fascinating to me. There seems to be a few folks intent on damaging this projects reputation as much as possible and through some of the most outlandish means I could imagine. The twitter account was fairly left field for example.
Do other alts get similar attention?

I'd rather pay .01 once I know the bloat is fixed, than .001 when it's still unknown whether it can be solved.
Anonymint said it cannot, but I'll keep watching. Either way, once it drops I'll reassess the situation. I'm not just referring to the pool bloat, but the denomination bloat. Refer to Anonymint's post history.
