Guys, we're all in this together, let's not fight. It accomplishes nothing.

Camo, have you tried using a different computer or OS?
Or course, making sure that two clients were never running at the same time. I tried it on my laptop, no different... Last night I tried every thing and every combination of things that I could imagine... Then I just gave up and went to bed at almost 8am. Weird, did you send your debug logs to Evan?

Here's my suggestion. Any coin that needs its proponents to pimp it in threads like this is one you should NOT consider investing in. Do your own research or be forever manipulated by those that do.

Dark and Cloak embrace an obsolete technology: CoinJoin Bytecoin, which is known as one of biggest scam in the cryptocurrency history (premined 83% before launch) gets zero chance to succeed Are you willing to put your money where your mouth is? If coinjoin is obsolete, would you be willing to make a bet ( with escrow) to trace a Darksend transaction?

none of those shit, maybe zero coin, or sidechains of bitcoin which will bring anon to it
I doubt it's possible to create the key in a trust less manner. Read: DOA.

I got about 270 DRK on a exchange. Whats the advantage to send it to a wallet?
Exchanges sometimes get hacked. If you send it to a wallet, you take responsibility for its security. Very true. Is there any DRK to be made with only 270 DRK in a wallet You could buy a partial masternode stake. Such opportunities pop up from time to time.

From what I read, I thought openbazaar was supposed to be decentralized? Either way, I think it's more of a liability to have a market integrated directly into a currency's client. An anonymous currency on its own cannot be held responsible for illegal activity that involves its use. Couldn't say the same if people started listing drugs on the integrated market.

I'm not suggesting that this is in fact what he's doing, but if it were... It does fit oddly well with his belief that others are stupid and he can get their coins with a little manipulation. He''s thanked "stupid people" for their coins in the past. Honestly if that's his game, props to him. Nice job.

camosoul has been acting like the same people who he once would have called emotional idiots and yelled down. I think he's purposely being manipulative and he has sell walls on mintpal, thats my theory for his out of character postings.
It wouldn't make sense to shit talk his own investment if he's trying to sell for good. Rather, it would make sense if he wanted to play the market and buy for a lower price.

I feel like Shojayxt is shifting into concern troll territory. No one ever tried to paint a picture of a perfect launch, because it obviously took a few updates to fix some bugs. However, that's kind of irrelevant. All that matters is that it works now, which it seems to for the majority of people. And with each subsequent release, there will be fewer and fewer bugs until it becomes perfect. Anyone who expects it to be perfect from the first version is not occupying reality.

From the way that Camo treats people, I feel that he's had some problems dealing with people in the past. Honestly, there's no need to berate people who are just trying to help.

I'll agree. I don't think this is the place to get issues addressed. There are better places to post than in what amounts to general discussion.

4 rounds went smoothly. Have not had any issues with this latest wallet.

I'm currently trying to compare Boolberry vs. Monero, and the biggest thing that sticks out to me is the name. Is rebranding on the radar at all? Boolberry is cute, but you're selling yourselves short. Monero sounds like money, Boolberry sounds like a bubblegum flavor.

There is a very small window to gain real adoption between now and when dark wallet is released at year end. I suggest the opportunity should not be missed.
darkwallet lol Don't underestimate them. They have many Btc supporters. Amir can deliver. It'll always be just an addon vs something that's actually built into the protocol.

Guys, you're helping the scammer by repeatedly quoting the link.

is monero still a strong coin in long term invesment? whats your thoughts? ty.
Nothing has fundamentally changed, nothing bad happened and the devs are working on improvements + an official GUI wallet. I am still seeing this coin as a long term agreement, but I have to agree on the high inflation rate. Due the high inflation rate, monero will not bubble as much as other altcoins did (like x10 short term), but I think we still will see a mini bubble, reaching somewhere between 0.006 and 0.01. EDIT: Read the monero missives here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg8195249#msg8195249 (last one) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.0 (overview) not sure what you meant in bold. Please clarify. I read that as he thinks it's a good long term investment.

Elito, can you truncate that link? Even though it's pretty obvious that it leads to a scam, we wouldn't want anyone to inadvertently click it.
