Day 2 is completed and it looks as if the second test match will also end up as a draw. How does it sound? 10 days of play and still no result. I am glad that I haven't watched a single ball from this series on TV. Saved a lot of time. Anyway, nice to see Shakib Al Hasan getting in to the wickets, although he was not that impressive with the bat. The only positive for Bangladesh from this series is the fact that they have proved the argument of Shakib's one man army wrong. Even without significant contribution from Shakib, the team has put up a good performance.

I have to say the way Bangladesh played in the first innings was really unbelievable. I have never seen a more sorry-looking batting card and also a great performance from them at the same time. 2 of the Bangladeshi batsmen did almost all the scoring.

Yes, they have proved that without a very significant performance from Shakib Al Hasan they can hold their own. But I am expecting a good performance from Shakib Al Hasan in the bowling department otherwise I am quite shared that this match also is going to end up in a draw.

Bangladesh will not be able to collect 400 runs. Even collecting 350 is now difficult for them. Bangladesh lost the wickets of Liton and Mosaddeq in the same over. I would say that there will be a good chance of a result, if Bangladesh manages to bowl out Sri Lanka before the end of today's second session. But in case Sri Lanka bats out today's sessions, and manages to get to a total of close to 400, then the chances of a result will be very slim. They are still trailing by 200+ runs and given the slow rate of scoring, there is a good chance that the Lankans may play defensively and target a draw. If there is a result, then it will be in favor of Bangladesh.

Well jokes on you because 3 days already have been played and we also had a delay because of rain interruption. I really am not expecting any result in this match except for a draw. And considering the fact that this is a batting pitch, I don't think any results will be possible even though both the teams try really hard. Angelo Mathews has been consistent in this series. He did hit more than a ton in the last test match and did the same in this match too.
