Will we see BTC at 1$ in the next few weeks?
19202  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bitcoin Apocalypse 1BTC trading under $5 USD on: September 16, 2011, 02:25:09 AM
I'm riding the bitcopalypse all the way down to zero with my investments in HW and BTC near the top. Winning or nuthin.

BTW: What comes after "resignation" in the bubble cycle?

same here i'm going down with the ship... i could sell now and make a profit since i bought at 0.75$ but... theirs no honer in that .... i believe in bitcoin and so i must go down with the ship.
19203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [POLL] What do you do with your bitcoins? on: September 16, 2011, 01:38:45 AM
POLLs are fun!

What do you do with your bitcoins?
19204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hoarding Vs Spending Effect on Price on: September 15, 2011, 10:17:26 PM
Seriously someone point out a difference between saving and hoarding please. I'm at a loss.

i guess, one could say:

Saving is when you buy btc only to spend them in a few months..

VS

Hoarding is buying BTC as a store of value. (very risky, but potentially very rewarding.)

I'm hoarding about 30 bitcoins.
19205  Economy / Speculation / Re: well that just sucked. someone sold 20K at once on: September 15, 2011, 06:59:43 PM
Dropped the price nicely.

bitcoinica users probably just crapped their pants. it is movement like that which will cause a
liquidation of their orders.

well this if they were betting it was going to go back up.

with bitcoinica people can make money weather bitcoin goes up or down, Right??
19206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] When will bitcoin be ready for a 2 hour TV infomercial on: September 15, 2011, 01:30:16 AM
^^ This is a good idea! Might not be that expensive also.
Movie theaters get ripped off by the movie studios who only pay them like 5% of the ticket sales, they would be glad to get some more money without having to sell over-priced popcorn. The low margins they get on the tickets are the reason why they over-price the popcorns and why they started showing commercials before the movies Wink

the people into since fiction would probably love bitcoin, so we can choose to only show the ad for since fiction movies.
19207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] When will bitcoin be ready for a 2 hour TV infomercial on: September 15, 2011, 12:37:29 AM
maybe an infomercial isnt the best way to spread the word.

but relying on onlyonetv.com isn't the answer either.

have a 3 minute commercial at the movie theater, might be cool!
19208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoinopoly by Christmas... Yes Seriously on: September 14, 2011, 11:10:26 PM
Bitcoinopoly sounds like a good game...

would the price of BTC go up and down in this game? that would be crazy cool

Chance card and it read:

1) "An early adopter invested 100,000$ into BTC everyone's bitcoins go up 10% in value"
2) "A News station says you can buy drugs with BTC, value goes up 300%"
3) "Mt. Gox was hack! value of everyone's BTCs goes down 20%"
4) "If you didnt secure your wallet, you loss all your coins!"

 Grin
19209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] When will bitcoin be ready for a 2 hour TV infomercial on: September 14, 2011, 11:03:34 PM
Why waste bitcoins on buying TV ad time when there is already a full fledged global online bitcoin TV network?  The early adopters are going to continue to be tech savvy youth, not unemployed old people watching TV at 3am.

because....

unemployed old people watching TV at 3am =  A LOT of people
tech savvy youth = not a lot of poeple
19210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [POLL] When will bitcoin be ready for a 2 hour TV infomercial on: September 14, 2011, 10:53:38 PM

19213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoinica Interview on: September 13, 2011, 08:04:45 PM
Bitcoinica made by a 17year old!?

19214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Show on OnlyOneTV.com on: September 13, 2011, 06:49:27 PM
..he sure does seem shifty lately

I agree, and I've noticed it since the beginning.  Anyone who is familiar with body language "tells" should be able to get a read on Bruce as being deceptive or hiding something.  Ever notice how many times he touches his nose when talking, especially when he seems to be 'embellishing' the truth?

what do you think he knows?
what do you think he going to do?
what do you think he has done?
19215  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it stabilizing? on: September 13, 2011, 06:35:03 PM

19217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / [POLL] How many minners are holding alot of bitcoin waiting for higher prices? on: September 12, 2011, 11:25:43 PM
