19061  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it possible for us to get the price back up on: November 15, 2011, 04:58:01 AM
Many people has the ability to easily bring back the price to $15-$30 range.

You just gotta talk to the right person.

ya sure dump 1 million $ into the market.... watch it go up to 15$ and then back down to 3$ in less then 2 hours
19062  Economy / Speculation / Re: "Aaaaaaand the waaaallllls... on: November 15, 2011, 04:36:59 AM
Here we go again.

it looks to me like we slowly climb to 3.xx dollars Aaaaannnd PooF it falls, we slowly climb to 3.xx dollars Aaaaannnd PooF it gone,

this leads me to believe 1 by 1 the miners that were hording their coins see 3.xx$ as a good price to jump ship.

we will portly see this happen many times for the next few months.... 3.12 Aaaand Poof it falls.

$2 will be the new $3 soon enough.

and then 1$ will become the new $2
and then .50$ will be the new 1$
and then .... well then ill buy 1000 and 1,000,000 people will all try to do the same thing.
and then 3$ will become the new 2$
and then 4$ will become the new 3$

19064  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if someone dumps a million dollars into the market? on: November 15, 2011, 03:31:27 AM
to buy bitcoins ?

Does it go up / down  how does the market react to something like this ? Huh

if someone was to try and buy 1 million dollars worth... he would first buy all the bitcoin on the bit wall... most likely people would cancel their asks when they see this happening, and ask for more $

then people would realize he appears to want to buy btc at any cost and so they will jack up their asking price...
other poeple would see this as an opportunity to "get out" and sell their coins to him at wtv cost he is willing to pay.

And bubble #2 is born!

this would be very exciting to watch.

and then after this is all done the price would be at like 30$ but would go back down very quickly... or maybe not because he will have bought all the coins off everyone with intention to sell....

hmmmmm, someone should just dump 1 million dollars and see what happens... make it 5 mill while your at it Cool

this guy would have to be crazy to Buy 1 mill in one day... what a sane person would do is buy 5,000$... and then wait for the price to drop again buy another 5,000$.. repeat

19073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: "A Self-Contained Financial System" on: November 11, 2011, 09:37:39 PM
I asked my father -- who is behind me -- what he thought of this:

"Sounds Un-American, son."

American was founded with principals.  freedom and democracy... "The American Dream"...  bitcoin seeks to revive these lost principals, and freedoms.

the central bank is Un-American, the founding fathers said so... and they fought real hard to no be subject to the central bank.

tell your dad to watch this...

I would like to see mock-up software
...
The next attribute is obvious. Obscure securities based on credit and margins could not be bailed-out by printing fiat money.

Please add to the list.

Thats to much information for 15 seconds.

no matter which way you cut it 15 seconds inst enough to say anything about bitcoin. for real we would need a 2 hour film called "Intro to bitcoin"

this is why i say the commercial should just give one clear message :: "Bitcoin ... go check it out online"

19075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin press hits, notable sources - discussion on: November 11, 2011, 04:58:00 AM
CBS news station KOLD in Tucson Arizona is currently showing a video commercial online for an upcoming TV story about Bitcoin that will air at their 10:00 news which starts about 20 minutes from now (10:00 PM Arizona time, 0500 UTC).  A video commercial is now visible on their website, as well as a prominent advertising blurb on the station's home page.

http://www.kold.com

i can't find it. could you please post a link directly to the page about the upcoming TV story about Bitcoin
19076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin commercial on: November 11, 2011, 04:18:50 AM
My crazy idea:

for 15 seconds you show this img, and nothing else

no sound, no mention of bitcoin, Nothing! just the image.

then the img nicely fades out. end of commercial!

The idea is to make people say "?WTF?... what was that" they will for sure talk to people about it and everyone will be like "Ya i saw that too... i have no clue what it is??" Huh
Finally a friend of a friend will be like "OH ya that's The Bitcoin commercial, you really should go check it out online!"
the guy gose online and learns about this revolutionary idea that is bitcoin and falls in love with it!
he goes back to all his friends and tells them "I figured it out!! the weird commercial is B I T C O I N, and its going to change the world my friends. BUY BUY BUY!!! before its to late"

the most talk about commercial of 2012

Edit: ok maybe give them a clue .... have a short version of this song playing in the back:

19078  Other / Off-topic / Re: I just got Hacked! on: November 07, 2011, 05:06:28 AM
Might want to also run "malwarebytes" through there once, might help in picking up whatever files or entries are left.

ya i'm running it right now in "windows safe mode"

f-in shit is taking 1 hour to scann everthing, i hope everything is back to normal after
19079  Other / Off-topic / Re: I just got Hacked! on: November 07, 2011, 03:05:08 AM
Blaster is an old memory resident worm from 2006 and doesn't spread anymore, you've probably got a scareware infection.

i think your right the thing running the scan right now is porbly the bug.

"Privcay Protection"

i come back home today, and find my computer in sore shape.

its tell me some files where accesed remotely and asks me to block this attact

it would seem i have a w32.Blaster worm. and was unable to start any programs.

after running the virus scan everything seems back to normal... ish

it would seem the attacker did NOT steal my bitcoin wallet!
