Hi, as said in OP by dev, the lost 196mil is blocked, however, I still found the supply is 1bil with the latest wallet.

Yes,the same problem. The patch seems not to be working. I think the supply will remains as 1bil, but the 200mil can't be moved from the lost wallet. Yeah, from what I've read any attempt to transact using that wallet will be rejected by the network. |

The distribution is the tricky part. Would it be fair for whoever does this to get compensated? May they hold the "pre-mine" of the air drop and "sell" it in addition to giving out free coins to those claiming them? Full accountability and transparency is easily achieved since this has a blockchain.
The whole thing is tricky. I'm pretty sure, no matter how hard we try, this will never be perfect.
I can already see, the very poor poor, will get some stoopid lawyers and complain ... (think strike, like the ones launched by the local labor unions, which usually results in the strikers becoming jobless.) I've survived a bankruptcy several times...
That's fine, in fact a small portion of the 'pre-mine 'should be allocated for that purpose, shouldering the cost of distribution like manpower, campaign materials, printing (in case we go the paper wallet route), food etc... IMO I don't see anyone wanting to sue the project besides the government. |

We don't want the government to get involved, otherwise we risk ruining the project's credibility. Transparency is a must for this. The distributing body can be set up as a non-profit.

How do you plan on going about this? Do you have ties to the government? What are your thoughts long term?
I'm down with having a PHcoin, but would love to know what the main idea behind it is... Are we aiming for a replacement of the Peso? Or an alternative? A companion currency? Just thinking what role banks will be playing here since last I heard, PNB doesnt want to do anything with crypto... Or was it just bitcoin? Should it be helping the poor? Or will it just make the rich richer as usual? I think there should be a limit of how much you airdrop somebody based on their income. I personally don't like the idea of giving more money to rich people. But then again, I dont like giving too much money to poor people because they tend to get spoiled. Dont get me wrong, I give to poor people; the old men playing the guitar on bridges mostly, because they have EFFORT, not the street kids who just say "kuya penge pera"...

I think its a good idea and could get mass adoption quicker than other countries, because for one thing, Filipinos like trends. Would also be safer in terms of thieves aka Napoles... Good luck hiding corruption in the blockchain (or sidechain when the time comes!?)...
Overall sounds interesting, but needs a lot of thinking through... Buying redhorse with crypto sounds amazing.
IMO the coin should aim first for general awareness of crypto in PH. Scrypt, SHA? Pure PoS sounds cool. |

If I do go with such a coin, we can't accept photocopies, only originals. I know how easy it is to use photoshop. We want to avoid that kind of thing. If there is a walk-in process, perhaps photocopies might work, as long as the original is presented for verification.
Again, that's all a lot of work, especially if there will be a few million of you guys doing it. This would have to be a major operation.
Would be nice to have a country coin of our own. If you would continue with that "walk-in" distribution I could volunteer. |

Generally, I have a suggestion! Let's distribute the remaining 80M coins among those participants who still have not sold more than 5% of their coins! Then others will think! When the dump comes, we can at last get some bigger holders. COMM is too evenly distributed at present, needs some big holders to really get motivated on big projects. So I'm saying that developers need to encourage those who keep their coins and we will have BIG holders! Why so afraid of a dump? It's gonna happen even if you don't want it to. |

I didn't see any minting since a couple of day....
yes i got some but sometimes i go 2 days before i get it. None yet. Also, I mined on the multipool overnight and no coins, but I think I may have set it up wrong. Anyone having good results with the new multipool? Got a stake/mint about an Hour ago, nothing big but I have kept my Wallet open 24/7 And get several Mints every day. With the Multipool, I set the Address as Recommended with my Supplied BTC address, Mined for an hour & Nothing...How does it work ? There might be a problem with wafflepool payouts? |
