2081  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2k in january on: January 31, 2016, 02:17:31 PM
It's gonna be February in a few hours, let's hope this month we would see the block size issue reach a conclusion and finally see the price gain momentum towards the halving.
2082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: January 31, 2016, 07:12:50 AM
Can anyone let me know , if my bet is -3.5 for x , and end score is x:y =14:10 , the i have won the match or draw?

You won the match, because you win 0.5 from your bet. Wow Spurs lose by Cavaliers, i thought this match will be tight. so Warriors > Cavaliers > Spurs.

No it doesn't say anything at all, because this is a season game. If this was a playoff series and the Warriors beat the Cavs, then Cavs beat the Spurs then your logic may apply.
2083  Economy / Speculation / Re: Boring market with no strong movements during Chinese holidays on: January 31, 2016, 03:52:09 AM
I'm kinda getting bored of bitcoin. We've been to 420 many times. We've tested 300 many times. This is stupid. Bitcoin is too small to be so stable.

Bitcoin is more stable than Amazon and Amazon is 50x bigger. Makes no fucking sense.

Well that's how markets are. It's quite a flawed logic to compare it to an organization IMO.

Spurs Vs Cavs a must watch.  Smiley

Spurs have the upper hand IMO, with the Cavs still adjusting to their new game strategies under Tyronn Lue.

When will S4's closed? Is it after 10 days of inactivity again?
When will S4 owners can demand their equipment physically?

Yeah, they will send a message for that. As far as I know, the conversion is per 2000 gH / 1 S4 unit.
2088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: January 30, 2016, 03:28:13 PM
I think it's depend. if you gambling on dice sites or gambling sites who have provably fair, i'm sure you will lose in the long run. but if sportsbook i don't think you will lose in the long run.

I think in all gambling it is same, in the long run people will mostly lose money because they can't guess each and every match accurately unless you bet only once in awhile on very sure matches. So it is not a good idea to gamble every day instead gamble few days once to reduce to loses.

But isn't the goal of gambling is to have fun? Unless you're a pro and really experienced you really shouldn't build a career on this.
2089  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why not use Paypal for accepting payments? on: January 30, 2016, 03:25:13 PM
---
If I would buy or sell something, I would suggest splitting the PayPal fee.

I think it is better to pay 3.9% or less to PayPal than get scammed.

I don't think this is the right community for you.

Could you please elaborate?

What is the problem?
It is a BITCOIN FORUM, so if you dont believe in the project its probably not the place for you.

Ok I understand that view. But I honestly believe in bitcoin, but when I use my hard earned money to buy something from stranger online, I prefer security. I don't think that we should embrace fundamental views. Why can't we use each tool for the purpose that it does best? Bitcoin is good for many things, but online buying  from strangers is not one of them.

Paypal tends to be biased towards the buyer about disputes, especially on digital goods. They'd easily grant a chargeback in which they'll use the clause that 'they do not provide guarantees on digital stuff.'

It's hard to stay away from trap-buyers, that's why many don't prefer Paypal at all for trading btc.

2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ...and THIS is why I prefer to use Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2016, 03:18:32 PM
Wendy's was just hacked and the hackers made off with an unknown number of credit cards. But noooo, Bitcoin is the preferred currency of criminal financial activity, amirite?

these things happends all the time , just last week my girfriends credicard number got stolen and used.its not uncommon , but most news sites dont talk about it anymore since its so common

Pretty much the reason why I only use debit cards, w/c I load up whenever I need to buy something off the internet.
2091  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptsy Hacker identity incoming - pending bounty on: January 30, 2016, 02:58:23 PM
Hacker's identity: Big Vern and some ghost employees

another possibility in the world of cryptos. nuff said.

Plus the fact that something like this isn't exactly new in this industry.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: January 30, 2016, 02:22:23 PM
Golden State Warriors has pretty good chance to get an easy win by big margin against weak team Philadelphia 76ers, Golden State Warriors have ability to win match easily because it has awesome offense so that it can easily manage to keep winning difference more than 20 points so that handicap -17 would be nice pick for this match.

Yeah the match would be pretty much an exhibition game for the warriors. Hopefully, Kerr would have his main men to back out a little to avoid any untoward injuries.
2093  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin reach 500 USD again ? on: January 30, 2016, 06:56:01 AM
it will take a few months as bitcoin has a bit of problems right now with the blocksize limit debate, i hope that it will be solved soon and the price start growing

yup, few months. I think price won't go up because of that, but the good news about the block size solution could probably would grow the price a little, but I don't think it will reach the  $500  Smiley but lets be positive

Although if you think about it, the reverse could happen. If unity is not displayed and consensus is not reached, the price can continue its downward spiral.

If that didn't happen then lets expect an upward trend.
2094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The thing that will destroy Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2016, 06:51:37 AM
I think bitcoin as it is is enough already, whats gonna destroy it is probably the lack of trust in the ecosystem, like the neverending hackings and even scams.
2095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: January 30, 2016, 06:24:35 AM
If top price of $2.5 is considered bubble, than yes. But, for me increase from 1 to 2 dollars is far from a bubble. Its just a pump.

You shouldn't look at price, the market cap tells a better story.

How is it a buy right this moment? Everything resembles a large correction may occur.

Well the marketcap doesn't exactly tell everything about it either. Only if you have some insider info can you be correct about when to buy, all others, just intelligent guesses.

But IMO you're right, really feels like not to buy atm.
2096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price rise is over on: January 30, 2016, 06:13:40 AM
its not over and it never will be over, that was just a small drop and we will gain the losses back as soon as possible

In what I can see today in bitcoin price, it is almost unpredictable, but I think price would crawl slowly til it get back to its price last few weeks ago..  Smiley

It has and will always be unpredictable. The way to it is just keep holding and avoid the daily fluctuations.
2097  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitshire Hashaway Investment on: January 30, 2016, 12:13:34 AM
What s with the title dude? It seems like a new cloud ponzi and u actually post results of your Hashnest cloud.

Well it's his journal so he gets to write what title he likes. I also thought the same way it's like a click trap.

Anyway OP goodluck on your journey.
2098  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank of Japan institutes negative interest rates on: January 29, 2016, 07:47:47 AM
It's not so shocking.   This has been the norm in Japan for the last 20 years.  I'm sure they have had negative interest rates already within that period.   Negative interest rates will cause corporations who currently hold cash balances to invest in something and help to spur the economy.

While it may spur big corporations into moving the economy, this would likely hurt the ordinary consumers if this continues. Aside from the 0.1% fee that they'll take, the impending inflation that they want to have is bad for stagnant money.
2099  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: January 29, 2016, 07:35:20 AM
Yes, I try to get my hands on every single satoshi I can. Halving and general crypto acceptance is the reason.

It does require a lot of time and patience but making money s never been easy.

Like how do you do that, do you allot like 10-20% of your monthly budget for buying BTCs?
2100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: January 29, 2016, 07:31:29 AM
Damn S4 is already at 104% maintenance/payout, if this continues we'll say goodbye to the s4 market wouldn't we?
