You guys are all kidding, right?
Mintpal screws us and everyone sells?
Good grief people..

I still have my coins...

I still have mine too.

Anyway we should aim for other exchanges for now, PoloniEX and Bittrex IMO.

Screw MintPal.

It is hard to estimate the price not knowing where the team is at. Given the response time for questions and such i am certainly liking the team. I have no reason to doubt them. The coin is of a different type of algo than a majority and so far it hasn't caught on yet. Sad to say but when someone with a fair amount of btc wants to manipulate the market, that is when the coin will gain a good amount of attention. I feel the attention will then stick when people learn about it and the potential it has.

The PoS makes me love it when this coin is low. I wish i would have got in at the way start, oh well, still satisfied where i am now. If i can get my hands on 10k total i will be quite pleased. Goal set! Grin

That's why NRS needs to get in other big exchanges. It's so easy for some people to control the price when all the trading happens at PoloniEX.

looking at the movements of different coins on different exchanges, like MRO, QCN, XC, I wonder why NRS is still underestimated. In my opinion it should be at least 0.01 BTC by now (and that is still under the real value compared to other coins). So still a lot of room for growth!!

I certainly hope that 0.01 is in the future.

I bought a 1k coins and will be holding onto those very tightly.

Probably lots of selling to get in the anonymous coin train. Also, I've read there were payouts from the general fund, so holders may have been cashing out their dividends.

Ok looking forward, after multipool what's next ?!!

currently I don't think the mutipool is a successful project, it have no profit for miners, the same GPU/CPU can get more NRS from blockquarry or ypool. but if the price go up, it will be different from now.

I also expect the announcement of the next DAC.

The multipool is built for asics, so you'll have an option to mine NRS through them.

Hey Mike, I followed your discussion here in this section.
Sorry, I am not filipino but I can tell you my opinion.

Both Option A and B is great designs for both freelancers and businesses to accept PHCoin.

If narrowed down, I do like Option A because of the simplicity.

But B has more meaning. The logo alone you can see the coin is Filipino.

Devs,Do you intend to contact another trading site?
Exam mintpal,I think that site will give the monero a new price.

If MRO gets listed on mintpal , its price may go higher .

It's 1000 Btc in the last 24hrs on PoloniEX, I'm sure MintPal already noticed.

If the ELANCE people will accept this coin as payment, this would have a great potential!  Smiley

Great plan, however, doesn't elance charge freelancers for working on jobs?
This is very possible though! Know any freelancers on Elance that you are friends with?

Send me a pm so we can come up with a plan to educate them about PHCoin.

There are a lot of Filipino freelancers aboard Fiverr.com. Since fiverr accepts bitcoin they might be already familiar with crypto and are open to it. I suppose we can interest them to the jobs platform you're building.

btw I like B option a lot more.

Small mining guide for people using moneropool.org

Create these 2 batch files in the same map as your simpleminer.exe

start_simpleminer.bat
Code:
:while1
    simpleminer.exe --pool-addr=moneropool.org:5555 --login=YOUR_PUBLIC_ADDRESS_HERE  --pass 123
goto :while1

start_pool_mining.bat
Code:
set /p var="Number of threads: "

set /a "x = 1"
:while1
    if %x% leq %var% (
        start start_simpleminer.bat
        set /a "x = x + 1"
        goto :while1
    )

*********************************

To start mining, just double click "start_pool_mining.bat" and type in the number of threads you want to use.
If one of the threads disconnects, it will automatically try to reconnect.

You should give this a try then. I haven't tried it myself.

I'm using the easy-miner from the OP.
2758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MRO] Monero - Anonymous Currency Based on Ring Signatures on: May 17, 2014, 11:00:58 AM
Network hash is  536.61 KH/sec?

Seems to me all the pools from the OP account for a little over 1% of the network, where are these hashes coming from then?  Huh

 Cool Cool Cool

So, just checking in to see if I'm doing everything right:

I downloaded everything, ran the simplewallet.exe and copied the wallet address from the wallet.bin.address.txt.

it returned 441NWFtLj3adEAkJBahBmQ3ErAawqFATpj9JDkAXr882LL8S8N4bA6tWGjQDPmNuFrejPCefUy4M4NV pNYq9eiZoPK3qEXk. seems to be a working wallet address?

now i'm running the bitmonerod.exe and at the same time simpleminer.exe with the following .bat:
simpleminer.exe --pool-addr=moneropool.org:5555 --login=441NWFtLj3adEAkJBahBmQ3ErAawqFATpj9JDkAXr882LL8S8N4bA6tWGjQDPmNuFrejPCefUy4M4NVpNYq9eiZoPK3qEXk --pass x

it seems i'm mining, pool dash says i have 2.00 hash/sec, i think that's gonna go up over time. i'm running an e5 xeon 8 core 2.67 ghz.

most of the output says "getting next job.. bla bla.. job didn't change". from time to time a nice green "share submitted successfully" comes by. there were like 3 in 5 minutes.

performance monitor indicates a load around 15%. isn't this a bit low?

anyways, feedback would be welcome if everything's ok on my end. thx Smiley

As of now 1 simple miner instance = 1 core, just open more miner instances.
