2241  Economy / Speculation / Re: 500$ This Dec ! on: December 24, 2015, 01:14:39 PM
Never say never. but in this case, it's a no go for me.
The market is silent for weeks now so it means it's settling down and we have to see for some new price action this new year.

True, at the least we got a pretty good floor price to end 2015. Hopefully we'll be seeing a lot of new highs this coming year.
2242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I need your opinions on: December 24, 2015, 01:13:08 PM
It looks nice, but has no actual value at all.

What did you mean by that? What makes you think it has no actual value?

It is made with precision and it's amber ffs. IMO it makes a very good souvenir at least.

List it on eBay then promote the auction here. I'm pretty sure someone would be interested on it.
2243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: December 24, 2015, 03:24:22 AM
And today my bitcoin lost again in gambling, all my payment from signature campaign all gone by gambling. it's hard to stay away from gambling.

At this point you should probably block your own access to gambling sites. Come on, edit that hosts file.

It's quite an effective technique, by personal experience.
2244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoin success the most in banned countries ? on: December 24, 2015, 03:22:43 AM
regardless it is completely banned, illegalized or something like that, its still proven ineffective since russian and chinese still know (or at least, aware) of the existence of bitcoin. But to answer your question, it is simply because the truth is citizens are stronger than government.

As far as I remember it was Russia who had the highest amount of transactions on LocalBitcoins - and China, as we all know, is a giant in the bitcoin space.

So yeah, BTCBTCBTC will live on regardless.
2245  Economy / Speculation / Re: 500$ This Dec ! on: December 24, 2015, 03:09:53 AM
I don't believe we will see 500 this December, we only have a week left before the end of the 2015. Too much drunken, irrational exuberance due to the final days of the year.

~10% increase in a week isn't really impossible. It would be so nice to close the year with a bang at $500.
2246  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cryptostocks.com gone now or whats the matter? on: December 24, 2015, 03:08:03 AM
Down for me as well, looks like they're taking holidays too. Nothing from support?
2247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bytecent - Bytecent.com | BytecentBounty.com | BYCRewards.com on: December 23, 2015, 04:02:26 PM
Here is the Bytecent announcement everyone has been waiting for: http://byctalk.com/forums/topic/638/bytecent-end-of-the-year-announcement

Great work dev, looks like BYC is just going up from here.. Cant wait for the whole picture to come together with all these services..

And a publicly traded company using BYC? Just amazing! Future looks very bright for BYC.

Keep up the great work!

At last, a Christmas gift for all of us. I hope the shopping rewards app would be like a browser plugin, compatible for use with most online retailer.

More power to BYC this 2016!  Grin Grin Grin
2248  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: want to host a website on: December 23, 2015, 03:05:26 PM

2249  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: December 23, 2015, 02:54:54 PM
Anyone know which one from this list of provider the one that gives a virtual debit card Huh
I don't really need physical one, i just need the virtual to verify my paypal Wink
Thank you

As far as I can see, Advcash, Bitstamp, E-Coin, okpay and WageCan are offering a Virtual bitcoin debit card. But I can't say exactly which one would be the best choice for PayPal.

Hmm are there any who does provide in-depth transaction details? Like you would be able to see the PP***** codes per transaction. That would be good for verifying Paypal accounts. I need one too.
2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your story, how did you become interested in Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2015, 07:41:55 AM
Well I just found out about it through google... I searched up how to earn money online, and I came across bitcoin Wink

Well honestly your search should've rightly ended up in an internet marketing forum and not here. There's a lot more info over there regarding making money.

For me I've heard it on the news, that was way back 2013 during the boom. Researched a lot about it and the rest is history.
2251  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expect Bitcoin Price to Reach US$1,200 or More Next Year on: December 23, 2015, 07:36:30 AM
Time to stock up everyone  Grin Grin Grin It's gonna be one hell of a ride.

Although frankly, let's not expect too much shall we? The higher you fly the harder you fall.
2252  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Give me ideas on: December 23, 2015, 03:02:01 AM
i want to create a website but I don't know what to make

The best place for you to think through is an internet marketing forum.
2253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you define "early adopters"? on: December 23, 2015, 02:58:38 AM
i think we still in the early adopters area because there still a lot of people who don't know what bitcoin is and bitcoin is still not mainstreamed properly so people who will come after the global mainstreaming will be the followers

Probably the next gen of adopters? The real early adopters are now the founders of bitcoin companies and are filthy rich.
2254  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Web Design , Ecommerce , Logos , Graphic Designs, Digital Art on: December 23, 2015, 02:54:46 AM
Hi can you send me samples for the logos. Also, how much usually do you quote for website logos?
2255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many People Here Sell on eBay on: December 23, 2015, 01:52:38 AM
I do regularly sell stuff on eBay, but unless there'll be an automated option, I'd prefer PayPal for the meantime.
2256  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell some and hold rest on: December 22, 2015, 02:15:35 PM
i am a happy holder. taking profits at these prices are good if you make $100 profit per coin, but you'll make an even bigger profit when you sell it closer to the block halving.

That is, provided the halving sends the price up the sky. Honestly, I'm beginning to think that we are somehow already nearing the halving price already.
2257  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 22, 2015, 12:34:52 PM
I don't have any passive income at the moment but i would like to have.
Many people count referal as passive income and this is what most of the people want to reach.
Is passive income holding the bitcoin for a long time, passive but not guaranteed that i will earn.

Have you not read what everyone has said on this topic. There is no such thing as passive income. For example if you make a dice website, you have to spend time making it, only then can you make some kind of income.

But if your dice site is already established and you have the capabilities to hire a site manager then you would have that 'passive income.'
2258  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: December 22, 2015, 12:32:32 PM
The oldest method is to keep it in a shoebox and hide it under your bed. Of course there is a risk of it being stolen or losing it in a house fire. People seem to take this risk so not to have the bank know about it thus not paying taxes on it. In a way that is saving money. Most if not all countries do not allow this way in saving money as it is illegal but if you are in one of the few countries that allow it then you saving.

But at the same time, the banks will pay you interest for storing your money in their bank. So technically you will be earning money, which is more spending money for you.

Although look at your country's current inflation rates first. An inflation rate of 3% with a bank interest of 2% per year mean you're losing money in the long term.
2259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what happens to Bitcoin if internet goes down? on: December 22, 2015, 06:11:12 AM
I think if internet goes down bitcoin will be decrease the value. We can't use bitcoin anymore

Well frankly there wouldn't be a decrease in value since if that happens bitcoin would have no value at all.

2260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cheapest price you bought your Bitcoin(s) on: December 22, 2015, 05:28:17 AM
I bought in the crash after the big bubble. Don't remember when or how much exactly, but it was $170-$180ish. I bought like 3, which afterwards I tried to get into the Scrypt ASIC madness and never reached ROI. Long story short lost 'em all.
