1841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First OpenBazaar transaction went through on: April 05, 2016, 10:45:37 AM
Great job OB! I'm too lazy to download it right now Smiley I'll for download it in the morning. Grin

congrats openbazaar. you made a new step of the bitcoin marketing, for the teen wishes to setup their own store, this could be the best solution for them, though only in bitcoin. in the future, we will be able to buy/sell suff without anything worries! Grin

That's what I'll be doing straight after I download it. How long is the installation, may I ask? Please don't tell me I have to download a "blockchain" of all OB trades Grin

I'm currently setting up a VPS and will be designing banners for my store at OpenBazaar. Today's gonna be a busy day.  Grin Grin Grin

https://blog.openbazaar.org/openbazaar-is-open-for-business/

download from here, have a feel of it and start selling stuff.  Grin

my OB ID is 92df2dbfcf87416a37baf06ba7164fecb3534c0f .
I'm seeing some familiar names from bitcointalk there. don't know if they're real however.

All right, time to set up a shop in there. How does Open-Bazaar profit there anyway?

And does my store go offline when I close open-bazaar?
1843  Economy / Services / Re: Need Joint Venture Partner - Must be in the US; preferably students. on: April 05, 2016, 12:50:58 AM
CPA is a good place to earn money, but why especially college students?

I am into cpa marketing since 3 years, i knew much about a lot of offers, but never knew about going out and such things.

Anyways it will be interesting as long as there is no risk.

Well of course, there's no risk. Why college students? Because we'd be promoting offers in real life, and often college students are the ones living in high-density areas such as universities. Direct traffic is the best traffic.

Should I drop you a PM?
1844  Economy / Services / Need Joint Venture Partner - Must be in the US; preferably students. on: April 04, 2016, 05:32:26 PM
Hi, as the title says, I'm in need of someone from the US, to joint venture into CPA. Preferably, but not necessarily, a college student. Or someone who lives in a big city / high density area.

No money will be collected from you, we split the work, we split the would be profits. And yes, this would involve you going out and doing something (I'd do it myself if I'm in the US honestly.) Light work only, no worries.

Of course, payments would be via BTCBTCBTC.

Drop me a PM.

1845  Economy / Auctions / Re: Bitcoin site making $4k monthly for sale - 9 days left on: April 04, 2016, 03:51:54 PM
It's common in site flipping that you estimate your site's reserve price by averaging what you can earn with the site you're selling for about a year or more, and by your claims this site would have a whopping ~$50k price tag - and yet it's designed like it was a from a decade ago.

Even the traffic analytics seems fishy, looks like cloaked to me - unless you can show referrer statistics for that whole 50%.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: April 04, 2016, 03:17:45 PM
Weird. No NBA bets available for next matches in Directbet.

I want to see the odds for Bucks in their upcoming match against the Cavs.

Hope this is a risky one. Smiley

Don't tell me you were inspired by the Boston win vs GSW, that's why you want to make this bet.
1847  Economy / Speculation / Re: With the halving coming... on: April 04, 2016, 02:18:20 PM
Let's assume that we reach a new ATH of $1,700, what do you do?
Even it could reach last times ath 1k$ everybody will sell like i will. But even it seems hard for bitcoin to reach that point.

It is not very possible for the bitcoin to reach $1700 this year. But it is possible for it to be $1700 some time next year.

even if we reach the $1000 price level somewhere next year, then it's fine too. it allows the price to build itself up nicely. even if we see an increase of $200 per year, i am quite sure that a lot people will be happy with that as well. it's better to not have high expectations as you might get very disappointed when the price doesn't go up as much as you were hoping for.

IMO $1000 would be too much. After the halving if all ends well we might see around $700 or even $800 if we're lucky. $1000 would be way too off now, because a lot of sells would have come by then.
1848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think is killing Bitcoin, if anything is? on: April 04, 2016, 01:57:02 PM
Lack of knowledge, lack of awareness and lack of trust from the people is killing bitcoin as they get carried away with the news that they listen related to bitcoins.

It's not the lack of it exactly, rather the resistance and ignorance of people. I know people who just don't want to use it but they know exactly what bitcoin is.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: April 04, 2016, 02:49:51 AM
James Harden played great and won the game himself. OKC Thunder made so many mistakes and lost the ball so many times. Houston really needed that win. They have to win other games too to compete in playoffs.

Yeah that was a much needed win. Now DAL is up next, then the SUNS. If they win both of that they'd get to the 8th seed. That is if Jazz lose their games.
1850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin+Paypal=death of fiat on: April 04, 2016, 02:20:01 AM
Hamuki I challenge you to do your grocery shopping every day for a week with your Xapo debit card and I will do mine with my bank debit card and at the end of the week we will compare who has spent more on colossally stupid fees and I am 101% sure that would not be me. We are all Bitcoin users but don't be overzealous over Bitcoin please.

Btw my debit card has $0 annual fee and it costs $0 to be issued  Grin

That's true...
But combining it with PayPal doesn't make any sense because PayPal have their own terms of service, and the worst thing I feel about them is, they charge a lot and there is a disadvantage for sellers called "chargebacks"...
Due to this, I am with Bitcoins alone, and BTC alone is better than PayPal...
And no, BTC and PayPal even together cannot fire fiat out of the world as it has been used since decades, so it isn't so easy for anything to just kick it away... It might be in the future, but that future ain't near yet...

I've been selling quite a lot on Paypal and I am yet to see a chargeback. I don't know, been a Paypal member since 2011, and people politely ask for a refund not directly request Paypal to reverse the transaction and charge you back. It depends I think. The only disadvantage is the high fees, like Paypal gets 2% of every transaction. It adds up, that's why whenever possible I request customers to pay via BTCBTCBTC.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin no longer has a forum. on: April 04, 2016, 01:56:33 AM
Maybe the value of litecoin would start to go down pretty soon. It can't sustain this value anymore, IMO.
Or go up soon to sustain the mining costs.

Hoping that it happens. I have the amount of litecoins of almost $200 worth.

You better dispose that on the next spike, LTC's been on a down trend so you better be quick.
1852  Economy / Speculation / Re: Getting closer to Halving but .. no increase ? on: April 03, 2016, 03:31:43 PM
everybody calm down, it is just the stable price state that always happens before any rise. there should be an accumulation by the big players so that they can get the maximum amount of profit from the pump.

If everybody's been accumulating shouldn't the price rise slowly since everyone's buyin'? Anyway this 'stability' would be short-lived IMO, this is simply the calm before the storm.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: eCommerce giant Amazon finally embraces Bitcoin on: April 03, 2016, 03:24:52 PM
I thought it was true, coz April fools was 2 days ago. Anyway by the time that happens, BTCBTCBTC would have been mainstream already.

Hi,

Can't seem to use the Card on Amazon AWS, what's happening? Also can't use the card on Uber. Is this because I'm on a virtual card?

Uber does not like our card because it is prepaid.

As for Amazon - not sure. What error message are you getting? Have you asked their suport whether they accept prepaid debit card (no bank account) issued by Gibraltar?

Okay, now it's weird. I was transacted for authorization like 3x ~ $3. It's okay now, I think it's some kind of a delay.

1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: future of reddcoin on: April 03, 2016, 06:35:22 AM

Same as the 99 other coins. Although RDD has been gaining on volume this past few days.
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: April 03, 2016, 06:04:30 AM
The under lines are lowering every day, they all are around 200 except the Denver v Sacramento game, that is around 217, for some reason

Why is that, Denver and Sacramento aren't much of a high scoring team.

@ontopic Damn Western conference, HOU is already out the top 8 seed.
1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Overstock invests $4 million in Caribbean firm working on digital currencies on: April 03, 2016, 06:02:05 AM
Wow! Bitcoin is gaining massive support .
I think it will replace fiat soon. Smiley
It will not, maybe in longer term. Anyway bitcoin best bet is store of value.

Yeah it will never. Why do people think that is BTC's goal? It'll never replace fiat, rather it should be along it.

@ontopic Hopefully they'll have something like that in SEA too. Banks are stepping up their game with reloadable debit cards here. Time's ripe for something like Bitt.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: E-Sport Prediction , share your prediction here on: April 02, 2016, 05:15:41 PM
Dota 2 match

Epicenter

Navi  vs Polarity

London conspiracy vs vega squardon

Thanks you for the pick. I made my bet with ss on gamebet.gg
I will report here if I win or looses.
wait im confused whats his pick/ tip for these matches no insights or such.. im gonna go with vega squadron and navi match was just cancelled, vega seems in shape by checking the teams both 5 past matches vega squadron record is 3-1-1(w l d) while lc is 0-4-1 (w l d)
seems like both teams have played against each other their head to head stats is 0-2 favoring vega.

This should be hands down for Vega. Haven't watched any game of that London Conspiracy team ever. A much more exciting game with almost equal odds would be the EHOME v VGR and LGD v Newbee.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: April 02, 2016, 02:47:52 PM
we need to do a MLB thread.

is anyone interested in baseball? I know I would contribute plays
Nice suggestion, even though there are many baseball match ongoing
But the odds about baseball match on Bitcoin sportsbook are so less

I don't know, I never find myself excited when watching baseball. But yeah, that a thread like that would be useful for predictions and such.

@ontopic, haven't watched the Celtics-GSW game, but damn what were the odds of a Boston W?
