Bitcoin Milestone: 15 Million Bitcoins Mined and 100 Million Transactions Reached

more than 100 million transactions have been settled...

This is impressive however Visa handles more transactions that Bitcoin has ever processed is only 8 hours.... just proves that Bitcoin has a long way to go get.

Yeah plus the fact that a huge chunk of these transactions are towards exchanges for trading. For BTCBTCBTC to be more successful as a currency the movement of value should be towards purchases.

Besides that congrats to BTCBTCBTCGrin Grin
2222  Economy / Speculation / Re: Triple top, low volume, it's going to fall. on: December 27, 2015, 04:35:49 PM
yes it looks like going down, it's nice to buy some bitcoin and then it will soon rise again.

as I'm sure a lot of people waiting for the down trend.

All of us are currently sharks waiting for the fall. Personally I'd buy a ton if this falls sub-350 too.
2223  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you like to be able to buy with BTC online? on: December 27, 2015, 08:53:46 AM
As the title says....

What products would you like to buy online with your BTC? Anything that is not yet available?

Well if you're gonna use a reloadable bitcoin debit card you'd be able to buy almost anything.

But @ontopic, I'd really like to be able to reserve and book restaurants and such here in my country using BTCBTCBTC
2224  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 27, 2015, 08:38:49 AM
Reading the first pages of this thread are so satisfying. I could see the nostalgia of those people who were from the thread.

I agree, Bitcoin has so much potential its ridiculous. As soon as the cartels, catch on to Bitcoin it will add 100's of millions into the Bitcoin economy. Think about it, Columbia cocaine producers get a payment of bitcoins from mexico, no need to try and smuggle money through mexico into columbia.

It's probably double-edged sword, when that time comes there'll be so much regulation using it won't be as cheap and convenient as we are using it right now.
2225  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to invest my BTC on: December 27, 2015, 08:28:49 AM
If you are asking for sites to invest in , I recommend you to stay away from these type of sites which is often ponzi schemes and scam .

He want to invest his BTC on reliable sites. Better don't invest in any ponzi schemes, where they offer very attractive interest but at the end you lose you investment itself.

In this forum there couple of good gambling sites are there, where they accept investment but it also comes with risks because if gambling house lose money than you also will lose you're money. So not 100% safe investment.

You can also lend you're btc with proper collateral, which gives you some interest but don't lend any one without collateral.

If you're thinking of lending why not try out LoanBase? They're strict about loans nowadays, from what I saw in their site a while ago they're not allowing us to choose the loans we invest unto but we can only pick from their investment 'categories.' They'd spread the risk for you according to what you can take.

Are there any free trial of at least a 7-day or 3-day subscription free of charge to test out your tips?

That would be so awesome if you'll have that.
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 27, 2015, 08:14:58 AM

2228  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Btc price fall? on: December 27, 2015, 08:12:23 AM
We are going to see 300-400 before the end of 2015. We are also going to revisit 150 in January 2016. Good news comes in late Feb, early March.

Don’t know How much your prediction will work in upcoming days But Price is continuesly going down. Yesterday itself It falls more than 20$ for 1 bitcoin. As you said bitcoin rate will go back to 300$ to 400$ again. Will hope and the chart.Sad

Too bad but I think it's gonna go that way too. The price is playing around $410 to $430 as of the moment and looking at the markets it's not gonna rise up soon.
2229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 26, 2015, 03:20:17 AM
Select Houston +6.5 while you can, it is a sure win at this point because they are ahead by 4 points now

4 mins to go, HOU up by 8. This would be a good comeback for my CAVs loss awhile ago.
2230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 25, 2015, 05:16:01 PM
That moneyline picks is easy. Any handicap tips out there? Excited here for CAVS against GSW match. Will bet on Cavs for Moneyline.

If it's easy go chase hard bets. My strategy is playing more guaranteed bets and expand the cash over time. I don't try to make %100 over nights. If you don't win you keep your cash. Consistency is better than one-time big wins. Win 200 nights of 365 days with lower odds is better for me.

As for me I bet constant increments, so the bankroll is properly managed. I think I'll go for the Cavs Moneyline as well. This would be a must-watch match.

Besides that I'm betting on a SAS win.

Thanks!
2232  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dropping again? on: December 25, 2015, 05:03:02 PM
There is no way the price will be droppping under 400 usd now. We have seen some panic sellings, but even then the low was 435 at most.
For now it is safe to say that price is our new short term low.

Short term is likely an underestimation. I suppose we'll have this floor level holding on till early 2016. Plus of course, the ups and downs where our dear traders profit.
2233  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain transaction fee just got doubled on: December 25, 2015, 12:38:32 PM
Some days ago, I read on r/bitcoin subredit that the paid fees per block are increasing rapidly.
As the block size is limited and the transactions number is increasing too
So if you want you're transaction to be confirmed by the miners you have to pay.
Well that sucks Sad
But i think when our transactions isn't that important we can just use as little fee as possible an wait patiently for it to arrive Roll Eyes

Unless we're dealing with micro-transactions I don't see anything wrong with having to double the fees to speed up the sending. Although, the network should deal with this transactions/second issue asap.

2235  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: December 25, 2015, 08:12:55 AM
I think i am not waiting for bitcoin price drop to 100$ , because in my opinion if the price is dropping near 100$ It will be hard for bitcoin price to bounce back, so i really hope bitcoin will never get that low

Don't you think that when BTCBTCBTC falls sub-$200, it's buying time already? With the halving coming in a few months you don't wanna miss that opportunity.
2236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Work colleagues laugh at me getting into Bitcoin on: December 25, 2015, 08:02:16 AM
Just let them laugh, they will realize their mistake after you can show them what you can buy with bitcoin later, if you want you also to show them your bitcoin money and then calculate it to your currency

I think it will stop their laugh once they know your bitcoin wealth

Trust me it's not gonna work. A few of my friends still nags bitcoin is dead because GOX crashed a few years ago. It's better to keep this to ourselves.
2237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Capacity increases for the Bitcoin system on: December 25, 2015, 05:20:11 AM
Capacity increases FAQ was posted a few hours ago:

https://bitcoin.org/en/bitcoin-core/capacity-increases-faq

Hopefully by April next year, in time for the halving, this matter is completely settled.
2238  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Iraqi Forces Fighting for Ramadi Make Their Way Toward City Center on: December 25, 2015, 03:12:09 AM
I don't know WTF is wrong with the Iraqi army. Some 30,000 soldiers are not able to defeat a small group of 300 Islamic State fighters? Had this been the Syrian Army, then the battle would have been over in a matter of hours. Either these people doesn't have any of the qualities needed for a soldier, or the training handed out by the Americans was not up to the standard.

They are not mentally up for it I suppose. This is what happens when training is insufficient, and loyalty is scarce.
2239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who will be selling at 450 range (today) on: December 25, 2015, 03:02:53 AM
I sold some coins a bit before Christmas to buy a gift. I just though I'd buy back sometime in January. I'm just hoping it stays at this floor till early next year.
2240  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2015-16 Regular Season Discussion on: December 24, 2015, 01:17:38 PM
My picks for tonight on NBA:
Philadelphia @ Milwaukee - Milwaukee @ 1.11 Trust: 10/10
Dallas @ Brooklyn - Dallas @ 1.62 Trust: 9/10
Boston @ Charlotte - Charlotte @ 1.74 Trust: 8/10

That moneyline picks is easy. Any handicap tips out there? Excited here for CAVS against GSW match. Will bet on Cavs for Moneyline.

IMO betting on CAVS ML will be a bad choice cause GSW can beat CAVS easily, although ML odds on GSW will be low like 1.4-1.6, it may be the good choice, let's see the odds soon Grin

But i prefer betting on HDP on GSW, they usually win with a large point gap, which is a good option.

That's it. Because GSW is dominating, I like to see the odds for Cavs if around @2 then go. And of course to minimize the loss if ever I will bet on other type of betting in their game.

I'd bet for the CAVs too if the odds go over 2. It's too less of a reward and too high of a risk otherwise. Other than that I'd bet SAS on the SAS vs HOU game.
