- Price and volume drop = due to your fud and an external factor to the project. I do not ignore it. I take it into account but the reason is not related to the coin but to you and therefore can be ignored. If you did not do all your fudding, I might have taken it into account.

at the end of May someone pumped price from 30k satoshi (which was actually average price for months) to 100k+ satoshi
then this scammer announced yet another ICO round
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=954240.msg11491273#msg11491273
ICO price was set to 0.00120000 BTC
unfortunately noone had fallen for this manipulation and scammer collected only 0.01442335 BTC
after two weeks scammer reposted his offer
seems like someone else realized what's this game is about and dumped his coins, price went to 60k satoshi
On 28 Jun scammer published yet another ICO-alike offer. Major buyer was Argwai96 (who also attacks me here). He paid 2 BTC.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=954240.msg11741757#msg11741757
OK, so this ICO ended on 6 Jul. Guess what happened just after!
Price dropped from 60k satoshi back to 30k satoshi.
Now check when I have appeared in this thread.
This scammer manipulates price all the time. You want to see MTR valued at 50k-100k satoshi again? Just wait for another ICO from him. He will bump a price, start an offer, once ICO will end he will dump and take double profit from you.

Don't rely on my words. Compare ICO dates to huge price spikes dates.

Easy on the font size, it does not help any argument.

The ICOs failed because of too high a price imo. I was against the high price, but supported the majority community decision. If the price of the ICO was determined by MT alone, then your argument might have validity but since the price and number was determined by the community, it is harsh to put the failed ICOs in front of MT.

Supporting the price is a valid action by a dev, but currently there is no need for any price support because it will serve no purpose but waste energy. MTR is not a short term coin and over time as use cases are implemented the price will follow demand. Until then I don't care what the price is. I dont care about many things but the most important thing or me is the completion of Toshidesk and implementation of MTR use cases. I am still not convinced by your arguments and I dont think I will be easily because of your spiteful revenge motive and so far the things you brought are pretty much circumstantial.

If you look at a calendar year it consists of 4 quarters. Each quarter has 3 months. In 25 days Q4 starts and it ends 31 Dec. Anytime in that period is Q4. If it it not released by 31 Dec then you can raise alarm bells.

Unfortunately saying something wont be released in Q4 when it is not yet even the start of Q4 is speculation and not fact and definitely not reality (yet). Speculation without evidence is fud imo. You are jumping the gun a bit - that is what I am saying and what is weakening your arguments.
LOL
I am telling that 1.0 is not released yet and dev announces 2.0 in incoming quarter. This is funny. And these are facts. I see no speculation in my words.

Quote
If you take a section through the alt-coins currently and what effort and development occurs, MTR is one of a handful of coins where there is any development at all and at least a promise that is remotely plausible. This is more than what can be said for most coins and imo is closer to fact than speculating something will or wont happen in the future.
There are dozens of alt-coins with active development. Last commit to this coin was in March, also showing that dev don't know how to use git and maintain software version. This is fucking joke, not active development.

Quote
I will give MTR a chance whether it is successful or whether it fails in the end because based on a risk assessment of alt-coins atm MTR risk is lower than others - I am not saying it is zero (all alt-coins are actually high risk) but MTR is just lower than others.
You are ignoring facts: 1) IPO price 2) current price 3) lack of volume 4) finally: hyperinflation - 10% per month.
Sure you can give it a chance, we are free people.

You dont seem to know how to apply context.

- Price and volume drop = due to your fud and an external factor to the project. I do not ignore it. I take it into account but the reason is not related to the coin but to you and therefore can be ignored. If you did not do all your fudding, I might have taken it into account.
- Hyperinflation - could be a problem but is required in future if a coins gets widely adopted. Can also be fixed with a fork if it becomes problematic.
- Wallet development is not the main focus for MTR now. Getting Toshidesk out is, and once that is done and landed then things like wallet development can happen. You have to differentiate between wallet development and product development. It is about priorities and currently product development takes precedence over wallet development. I would have been upset if coin management spent their effort on wallet commits instead of on Toshidesk. You should therefore not refer to the date of the last commit as a negative indicator if you understand the bigger picture.
- If you have experience in the field you will know that it is not uncommon to work on 2 or sometimes even 3 releases in the future simultaneously - I bet you even Microsoft is already working on Windows 11, 12 and possibly 13. Certain components in software development can get released with a first version and the others once finalised thereafter and it does not have to be a long time in-between.

Unfortunately your motives for your posts here have became clear and is lowering the value that can be placed on your comments. Add to that your attempts to predict the future on things you observe without taking into account context - context gives meaning. That is your own fault.

First of all you do not understand what FUD is. The truth is not a FUD. Just because you don't wanna read that things go wrong does not mean I spread a FUD.

Let's look at the example

ToshiDesk 2.0 * Launching Q4 (2015) - Will offer the following products and services:

So in Q4 (2015) he will launch ToshiDesk 2.0.
Q4 starts in 25 days, but at this moment there's no even final 1.0 version. Is this a FUD?

No, it's reality.

So keep accusing me if you want, I will do my job.

I dont think you know what spam is. His posts are not spam. Your posts are spam. By your own measure they should then rather report you.

Sure advertising (especially paid) websites is spam. I don't spam, I don't advertise here anything. All I do is commenting this "coin" and letting newcomers know that it is scam. Looking at volume it's clear everyone knows it's a scam (noone buy this crap), but new people can come and they have to be warned. Stay tuned my friend, I am gonna stay here forever.

You should realise that it is because of your fud that the price and volume is down and those indicators can therefore not be used for the purpose you propose. If you did not fud and the price and volume went down it could be a plausible debate but now you have already tainted the picture which makes it difficult to make an informed decision. Price and volume is not important at this stage in anyways and are not good indicators for your purpose and will only become important towards the end of the year and early next year. I find it strange that you dont understand that principle as you have probably been around for a while already in cryptoland?

mastertrader777,

Hi.  You came to our thread to announce yourself, so I came to see what's up.  Unfortunately, these threads are so geared toward people who know all about trading, markets, finance and even worse, programming.

TanteStefana2,

mastertrader777 is just a scammer who spammed your thread with advertisement of his thread
Look at other of his spam activities in last hours

Just report this spam to the moderators to sort this crap out.

I dont think you know what spam is. His posts are not spam. Your posts are spam. By your own measure they should then rather report you.

PS: Your plans to derail MTR wont work. Rather spend your energy to save your own thead. I am saying this to help you - the more spam you post here the more you are destroying your own credibility and the more you become a laughing stock. Cheesy

I dont want to post these things man. Grow up and become mature so that your opinions can be valued.

Luckily everyone can see that this particular fudder is just having sour grapes because of sinking in the other thread.

Cool story bro. However, market price (constantly falling down), volume (no volume, delisting warning), buy support (0.1 BTC till trash) team has different opinion.

Of course price and volume will go down if you keep on fudding it - what did you think is the outcome of fud and especially during the development phase? Price and volume is not important now and will only become important once development is complete and MTR use cases finalised and implemented. Your concerns about price and volume would be more relevant at that point. In the interim all that is required (in the face of your fud) is to make some volume from time to time to keep a listing and to make sure development is completed and the use cases implemented. I understand the price and volume drop because of your fud and do not hold that against coin management - it is fully understandable. I would much rather prefer that they focus on complete development than to waste energy on the fud or the effects thereof.

the fud here is ridiculous, I am using MTR for toshidesk, not many coins can say they even have something as innovative as this coin has... It works great saves me coinigy fees!  Keep it up mastertrader and dcgirl, I am excited for the future of this coin!

I agree with you. Over time the fud will be proven wrong and in the mean time the fudders will grab every straw they can to try and turn into ammunition. They are fine-combing every detail to try and find something they can use. The block explorer is a good example as it might have been an oversight of the expiry date and they have highlighted the issue so that it can be renewed. Imagine the fudder did not pick it up it might actually have been deleted so thanks for that.

Luckily everyone can see that this particular fudder is just having sour grapes because of sinking in the other thread. Maybe if he was more mature people would actually have cared about what he says. The coins that should be fudded are those that does not even have any product or development to show. This puts MTR instantly in the top tier of the alt-coins currently.

Just call it an ICO guys. CFC sounds like something different which it is not. Even Yobit calls it an ICO.
1911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PreAnn] Vector A Pow/Pos Hybrid [Toxic] on: September 01, 2015, 02:38:45 AM

Vector Mini CFC is now open on Yobit - https://yobit.net/en/trade/VC/BTC

Time for CFC to end: https://yobit.net/en/ico/

Call a spade a spade and dont use other lesser known descriptions to make it look like something else. It is a 10 BTC ICO on Yobit like any other ICO and has to be judged by investors like any other ICO. Unfortunately 99% of ICOs are scams. Will you disappear with the 10 BTC after the ICO ends like 99% other coins or will you stick around for a while at least?

IT WAS LAST COMMIT TO REPO OF THIS SHITCOIN

Wow, so you can read repos as well? I also notice that you have mastered the caps lock button of the keyboard.

So what of when the wallet was last updated. In the case of MTR the wallet is just a vehicle to store and payout coins in this part of the project. There does not have to be any of the bling crap at this point that other coins implement. Once development is finalised and implemented, later on, such things can be looked at if necessary. Id much rather the dev team develop and finalise Toshidesk which is the main product, than waste time on wallet updates. The poster was referring to the work on Toshidesk and not wallet updates.

You must just go back to your thread and go down with it. Your failed attempts to take your dumps in this thread is just making you a laughing stock and wiping out any remaining credibility you have. At first I was taking you seriously but your repeated attempts to do wilful damage made me look deeper into the thread where you came from and I quickly realised the story behind the story and that what you are trying to do here is not out of genuine concern for the MTR community but just plain spite because of you losing the grip and respect of your other thread. I wil not take anything you say seriously whether you are right or wrong.

Perhaps instead of showing off your skills with caps lock, font size and font colour, rather take some classes in communication skills, interpersonal skills, skill of persuasion, negotiation skills, tact and diplomacy. Maybe then people will take you more seriously and listen to your advice.

This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Oct 4th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.

Wow, so you can read and you have figured out how to change color and sizes in a post. clap-clap.

If you were not so childish an immature with your vendetta to get MT back for highlighting stuff in the other thread, I would have taken your advice more seriously. Now you are just discrediting yourself like a child throwing its toys out of its cot and making a tantrum. Your behavior is causing the opposite effect of what you are trying to achieve.

MT will not allow the coin to be de-listed and price and volume is not yet important for MTR. Those things will become important once use cases start to be implemented sometime in future. Inflation is not an issue if growth in use is matched to rate of inflation. Most coins do not have use cases and therefore inflation becomes an issue. This will be the challenge for coin management to solve in future.

There is no growth in use. There are devs controlling and staking most of supply and bunch of naive investors who paid real value (BTC) to get no value (MTR). Yes, I agree masteretarded will have to fake volume to keep this scamcoin on bittrex, good luck with this strategy.

Whatever is necessary to get to through the development phase.

1915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Eaglecoin wallet is heavily infected with trojans!! on: August 29, 2015, 06:04:49 AM
Thanks for advice,  This guys now could are moving on new coins. Anyway always backup you wallets and lock it, When you have noted that you wallet was stolen, Try of use another computer to unlock you wallet and transfer funds to another adress more safe, it will give less time to an attack of brute force to found the pass.

My advice would be:

1) Always install all wallets for coins on a standalone system or in a sandbox environment.
2) Always move coins to offline wallets (cold storage) and keep only a minimum in a hotfile. A Hotfile is the wallet.dat currently on your PC in the normal location ..\roaming\coinname\wallet.dat | ~/.coinname/wallet.dat. Offline or cold storage is when you copy your main wallet.dat with your coins in it to a USB stick/(s) and remove the wallet.dat from your PC. Offline or cold storage is also sending your coins to a paper wallet. This is problematic through for staking coins and that is why I prefer POW coins. if you do have staking coins, put them on a dedicated Raspbery Pi that runs Linux.
3) If you are uncomfortable with a Windows wallet then don't use a Windows wallet but compile and use a Linux wallet.
4) If anyone quotes a wallet download link, make sure that the quoted link still matches and that the checksums are the same.
5) Always first run the wallet through Virustotal.com to get some level of assurance.
6) After 2 days or so run a wallet through Virus total again and re-analyse to see if the scan engines pick anything up after having worked since.
7) Install software that scramble the data between your keyboard and the operating system so that keylogging malware records garbage and attackers cannot steal your coins because they cannot unlock your wallet.dat with the "garbage" password.
8.) Always encrypt your wallet.dat with a long password of 20+ characters consisting of uppercase and lowercase letters, digits and non-alphabetic characters like * or &.

What is interesting is that this particular Eaglecoin wallet only had one obscure detection of a suspicious file on Virustotal when it released a few days back. It was strange enough though to raise the alarm bells with me. After first submission, the AV scan engines then started working on it and by 2 days later, almost half of them have classified the Trojan/(s) and were able to detect it accurately. This could happen because it is possible to obfuscate a virus or to change it slightly so that attack signatures do not pick it up. Sometimes malware can also fool a sandbox behavior analysis. It is important though to get a file into Virustotal asap so that the code is logged.

1917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Eaglecoin wallet is heavily infected with trojans!! on: August 28, 2015, 06:00:33 PM
NBGH keep deleting my warning posts in the Eaglecoin thread and has now locked the thread at the point just after he says there is a new wallet and big news is coming. He is obviously hoping that unsuspecting people will download the infected wallet and then he steals their passwords and wallet.dat files.

Here is the Virustotal link to the wallet he posted on 25 August and judge for yourself. Be very careful of the Eaglecoin wallet and compare the SHA256 checksum to the Virustotal checksum to see if you are running an infected wallet.

Wallet updated.Big news coming for eagle very soon

Why are you so worried about the price? You must be a n00b or a pump-and-dumper. 1920  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: can a stupid rich person run a full node? on: August 25, 2015, 04:55:17 PM
I am completely stupid.

If I had a lot of money, could I run a full node?

Would my stupidity defeat the benefits of running a full node?

Since you do not have a suitable Internet Connection, you can do one of the following:

Option 1 - run it locally
1) Get a proper fast and uncapped fixed line like fibre or cable or adsl.
2) Get a PC with at least a 500GB Hard drive, 4GB memory and any Core i5 or i7 processor will do.
3) Install Windows 7, 8.1 or 10
4) Download the core wallet  and run it. It will sync the blockchain and our PC will be a node.

Option 2 - run it in the cloud
1) You don't need to get a new Internet connection but use your existing one to access a cloud server.
2) Rent a cloud server from any cloud server provider. if you want to pay in BTC you can use Vultr.
3) Setup an Ubuntu server 14.10x64 should do. Select a 2GB memory one with 1 or 2 CPUs.
4) Install dependencies and compile the Bitcoin core wallet.
5) Run it and let it sync.

If you want to DIY and do not know about Linux and compiling, then Option 1 would be better. Option 2 is for more skilled people. If you really have a lot of money to help the cause, then Option 2 could be a much better option if you do the following. Create an online account with a cloud service provider eg. Vultr and rent a handful of servers and ask one of the trusted technical guys on the forum to set them up for you. That would be fire up and forget and all you need to do is to remember to keep your Vultr account funded. If there is someone here that is trusted that person could even rent and setup a bunch of full node servers and send you the BTC address for the rental tx and you can then send the coins to that address. Even another alternative is to make use of a trusted escrow provider like OgNasty and transfer the BTC to him. Once He is satisfied that the agreed upon number of full node servers have been setup and configured, he could transfer the BTC to the hoster. This can be repeated monthly and you do not have to worry about any technical matter apart from paying the funds. I am sure you will be capable of that part  Cheesy
