is there a wallet problem - I had not fired up my wallet in three weeks and it made good progress until 2 days behind and it's been sitting on 2 days behind for nearly four hours. I think I'm just gonna nuke it and start all over.

How can I get in touch with you guys to dole out tasks? I have Skype, Google, Facetime... you name it
Best place is here... We want to make everything as transparent as possible. +1

They are running off a 13 port hub. Yep there are a number of other tasks running on this computer. Other than cpuminer some of the other stuff it's doing is: - bfgminer for bitcoin mining (A Butterfly Labs Jalapeno, and 3 Antminer U1 s plugged into the same USB hub)
- Couchpotato
- Sickbeard
- BT Sync for backups of all other computers on the network
- wfrog weatherstation software conected to an oregon scientifc weatherstation
Load is not an issue as the system hovers on load of around 0.1 - 0.2 ok - I was going to recommend BAMT is you were not doing anything else on the computer because it boots off a stick and rock solid. I use it on my rigs

I've got 2 5 chip miners hooked up to an Ubuntu 13.10 headless computer. Every so often it seems that Ubuntu re-disccovers one of the miners and give is a new /dev/ttyACMx... Obviously that means that that miner is then no longer being used by cpuminer...
Anyone else seen this happening? Is there anyway to stop Ubuntu from re-discovering the miner and giving it a new /dev/ttyACMx ?
it's apparently dropping off line, hen re-appearing. I'm also running headless ubuntu with 20 gridseeds and have never had that happen. are you running them off a hub? are you running any other tasks on this computer or is it simply for mining?

Just as a follow up
Gawminers is listing the new 27MH units with the 3 ship dates
5/26/14 for $4,199 6/2/14 for $3,899 6/9/14 for $3,499
of course the temptation is to pay the higher price based on potential lost revenue
Assuming you can keep the miner running 24x7 their assumption is that you will lose $300 (hence the difference in price) and they're pretty spot on
Using the calculator at coinwarz.com and using the coin that's about 4th or 5th down the list 27mh would gross you about $44/day or $308/week.
delay a week and lose $300 in income
pretty smart marketing if you ask me...

Just went into the site and can't find the blade anymore, why is that?
gawminers annoucenement of a 27 Mhs unit for $3,500 plus the Hashra announcement last week has folks scrambling.

odd - I've just received a few blocks that showed up in my wallet as [32.001] instead of 32 which I've been seeing all day.

I approve this new coin!
you can't - you're dead.

you gotta be shitting me right?
Absolute no. We are very serious and skilled. This coin will evolved every 4 years and will be the coin of all WorldCups event in the future too. you're too late - someone already came up with this coin - they call it Soccercup

there's no specifict time to fine a block all you need is luck...
I'm getting block rewards every several minutes or so - just wish I could solve one! yea - I need some luck. which begs the question - if I find a block solo mining - is it mine exclusively to solve? If 32 coins are showing in your wallet greyed out then you likely solved the block, after 50 confirmations you will know for sure. If it stays greyed out then it is an orphan. thank you - now I understand. I've only done pool mining to date and have been used to seeing odd quantities show up in my wallet, not 32 tricking in every so often. I get it now - thanks

That is pretty much what I have, although mine is clocked lower. My cgminer reports 2.722M per blade, which is also reflected in the stats at the pool I mine at.
--gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=800,chips=40,modules=1,usefifo=0
Have you tried pointing it at a pool and seeing what their stats report?
the pool does report that correct has rate - over 15 mhs in my case but I'd like cgminer to report it properly also - especially since I've seen examples my people whose cgminer is reporting properly - case in point:

I started solo mining this and I'm seeing a lot of block rewards, but how long does it take to solve a block and get the coins from that?
is there some sort of formula to determine how long it takes to solve a block and get the coins based on a hash rate?
thanks
You can enter your total hash rate into the calculator below and click calculate then scroll down and you will see hourly and daily estimates of how many coins you should get. Once you solve a block it must be confirmed 50 times before it matures and can be spent. http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/smartcoin-mining-calculatorthanks but the calculator really doesn't address the time it will take to solve a block or an I missing something there?

Try chips=40
tried that - no change UGH! "gridseed-options" : "baud=115200,freq=850,chips=40,modules=1,usefifo=0,btc=0",

you forgot something...
or 'leave it" LOL

I am not sure if I'm really hashing at full speed or not since the latest cgminer is not reporting my hash rates properly with my 3 gridseed blades.
I have these setting in my cgminer.conf
"kernel-path" : "/usr/local/bin", "gridseed-options" : "baud=115200,freq=850,chips=80", "expiry" : "120", "hotplug" : "5", "log" : "5", "no-pool-disable" : true, "scrypt" : true, "shares" : "0"
ideas?
