1781  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech launches a new line of ASIC miners - Best W/GH/s ratio on: May 02, 2014, 02:15:28 PM
after bitmain cointerra is shipping  from stock 1.6 th for 3.700.

so the time of faking customers and making them to kind of investomers, where all the risks of companys operations are given to the customer without profiting of his gain ARE OVER. I do hope no one will ever be fooled of preorders.

No pre-pay, no hoping of 'can they deliver in time', will the palastina conflict harm my delivery time without - for each day of delay compensation.

I do hope you can start selling your miners regularly and stop collecting money from the community.

We've never faked a customer. Cointerra and Bitmain were discussed at length in the thread.
Please keep politics out of this thread.
If you're not interested in buying our products, no one is forcing you.

a question for you:

this :http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/2-units-of-sp10-dawson-may-batch

is this 2.8 TH/s for $7,995?

1782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Thoughts wanted on development of new coin on: May 02, 2014, 01:26:17 PM
I'll try and make this brief.

5 years ago my best friend died of a disease. I want to introduce a coin that will continually raise money for the charity that
conducts/funds research in the hope for a cure for this disease.

I think that this will be an ongoing mining operation - not one of these limited mining operations of N number of days

All pools involved must be willing to donate 1% to the charity.

All transactions would have a % that goes straight to the charity

I would establish a 1% premine to used to promote the coin, pay for press releases, public relations etc.

All Volunteers and participants including myself would have to publish a link to their Linkedin or Facebook profiles because I want full
transparency with this coin to establish legitimacy.

Over the past 5 years I have run fund rasiers in my area (Northern MD & Delaware) to raise money for this charity and now I'd like to take
it a step further with the introduction of a coin.

In addition in order to keep this coin out of the dumps I would like to limit all miners in pools to a limit on the hash rates to keep the coin from
being massively mined then dumped.

I'd also like to establish a floor price for the coin and people selling the coin under a certain satoshi would be forced to pay a higher transaction
fee for 'dumping' the coin at bargain basement prices.

My goal is to establish a long term viable coin that can generate real revenue for the charity.

I welcome your thoughts and observations - I am just one guy and these are just my thoughts - please let me know yours.

Thanks in advance.

1783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I don't get it, which scrypt ASIC can you buy right now? on: May 02, 2014, 11:51:14 AM
Thanks, I'll take that into consideration.

Without wanting to steer this thread too off-topic, I'd have to say that the question is not necessarily about who is going to deliver first, but what is going to be the response of these smaller Chinese vendors to the eventual release of Zeus, Alpha, Fib, KnC and any others that might be delivering in the next few months.

Those companies tend to have a more 'Western' client base because their marketing image is more developed and, therefore, their customers feel a little more comfortable dealing with them than the less-than-well-known Chinese vendors.

The Innosilicon devices are 28nm, they've done a pretty impressive job in bringing that to market so soon. The price of their devices can only go down over time, if they get a good reputation for reliability we may see people dropping their pre-orders from the other companies as the comfort-level with the Chinese distributors increases.

oh - the Chinese will never be left behind in the dust - they'll drop their prices and be competitive - no doubt - hey - competition is good for all of us.

I absolutely agree and I am sure the guys at KNC Miner and Mining Asics have taken notice.

what gives me a lot of satisfaction is NOW I really know what a unit that can hash this high CAN ACTUALLY BE BUILT! I am sure you feel the same way!

If you check that guys history on the forum pcfli you'll find it's fairly tarnished.... people not getting equipment they paid for -

Really, do you have a link to anything concrete? All I can find are minor issues that are resolved fairly quickly.

get in touch with forum member: nitehawk

I can see from the thread they you're spending money - but it appears as though you're going through the other guy Mr. Li - so that's good. My recommendation is that your squeeze pcfli for every penny because he will negotiate and negotiate BIG TIME - he's got a lot of room in his pricing. I know that from experience. Squeeze all these guys - their markup is HUGE!!!

make a rediculously low offer and see what happens - the worst that can happen is that you get turned down, but at least it's a starting point for negotiations.

best of luck to you

ps: if you need a contact in china that can deal direct with the factory that builds these things I have one there. I had an intern from U of P Wharton School working for me a few years ago and he lives in China and told me that he'd be happy to contact any of the factories that build these things are get the bottom line price. I'll connect you with him on Facebook if you're interested - just PM me - I want to make sure my forum brethren are not being taken advantage of.
1785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I don't get it, which scrypt ASIC can you buy right now? on: May 02, 2014, 10:39:47 AM
It's all about number game right now .Lightning asic sold 75 MH for 12K and now they are selling 90 MH for same price .

I dont think theyve shipped any yet. they just have prototypes and claiming they are in stock

If you check their official thread , they have already shipped about 86 MH miners already .

forum members have already received them?

if you read the thread no one has receive them - but I have no doubt they're real - they're just not a GREAT DEAL

Until someone comes out with a unit that's under $50/mhs for the smaller miners who can't afford the $8K, $10k or $12k unit we are stuck with having to pay about $150/Mhs and no one has an answer yet.

Don't forget to vote for CornerstoneCoin on Cryptsy: https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes/

I  voted if we can get it on cryptsy... I think it will break free from 1 satoshi if we can get it listed there

if all of the folks with open orders at 1 would just cancel and relist then at 5 or 6 - then things would get moving - they are their own worst enemy.
1787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I don't get it, which scrypt ASIC can you buy right now? on: May 02, 2014, 10:15:21 AM
Which is the best one that will ship immediately, as in today.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=578875.msg6491085#msg6491085 is taking delivery of Innosilicon units over the next few days. They work out per Mh very slightly cheaper than Zeus too.

Not exactly shipping *today* to customers, but as close as you'll get at this time.

I've negotiated with that guy in the past - he's screwed a few people in the past but it appears as though someone else is involved in that deal also who may be a little more legitimate.

if you check that guys history on the forum pcfli you'll find it's fairly tarnished.... people not getting equipment they paid for - although I have no doubt the machine their talking about is real. It's seem pretty 'cobbled' from what I could see in the video and it's priced awefully high when uou compare it with Mining Asics Units which granted ar two months away from you get 3 times the hashing power for the same price.

their 90 mhs unit is : $133 per mhs

Maining Asics : $48 per mhs

I think i'll wait

1789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New 75M scrypt miner delivered next month from china on: May 02, 2014, 10:05:20 AM
where is your data center located?

Update information of scrypt miner, one month host for free is provided now
Here is a good news for all of you, i have made an agreement with innosilicon today, and will start to sell their 90M scrypt miner from now.  The first two sample units will arrive in my place tomorrow or the day after tomorrow(thanks for SF express, they don't stop work on holiday), and i will release picture and video by then.

However, it is the first time we co-operate with innosillicon, and as i know, it is also the first time they directly build up miners. So we decide provide one month free host service to test the miner. The following is the detail information of the miner
Power:900W AC INPUT
Hash rate:86-94M/S
process:28nM
Chips:48
Blade:6

the price is 11999(shipment fee include) and discount for bulk order is also provide
   1 unit: 0$   2 units:25$  3-5 units:50$  5+ units:contact me for detail
If you want to host the miner in my place, the price for miner is 11799$ and the host fee is 225$ each miner each month. (according to the following policy, the first month is for free)
We provide one month host service for free, there is five advantages for doing this
1. we can test whether the miner can perform a 90M hash rate stably.
2. If there is any problem, we can resolve it easily with the help of our engineer and the help for innocilicoin
3. Because this baby can mine as much as 150$ each day, it is good to not waste 3-4 days on shipment.
4. Based on my previous experience on selling dragon 1T miner, shipment itself can damage miner as well
5. The summer is coming in many countries, so host these baby in our professional data center can make sure there is no over-heat issue.
However, if you don't want to use this free host service, we can ship the miner directly to you via ups. Smiley
the first batch of 10 unit will online on 5 May.

Payment method
1)Payment method:
1.   btc: 1BNwtEPanWJ9VLdiJebtykQJgk3eEZFh52
2.   wire transfer: contact me for detail, Western Union is cheap and quick
3.   paypal:  peicaili@gmail.com(4%fee, no delay)

Tip: because these miners are very expensive, so it is good to find some financial help from bank. Here is a way i used to do, pay the miner with credit card and divide the bill to 12 or 24 month. The credit card usually have 30-50 days free use time, and the mining earning is enough to cover the following bill.

the zeusminer seems like a better deal

18mh for 3k with 100% (now80%) free cloud hashing upgrade and shipping May31

is there thread someone online where people who have placed orders are talking about this? I'd like to follow it.

there's also no explanation on their website of how long you get the extra 80% from their hosting service.

it's a toss up for me...

I have faith in hashra at this point and they're offering a 10% discount right now which brings the price per mh to $166 for their 15mhs unit and the zeusminer also turns out to be $166/mhs. They've been in business a while and are offering a full refund is they don't meet their delivery date - zeusminer on the other hand says they're ahead of schedule but dance around the delivery date if you read their progress report.

in any event - information at this point is good information. - thanks

I didn't do that - the forum did it...

get a clue lou...

this is the worst ever coin to mine?

why?

because I'm mining it and I want all of you to mine something else...

LOL

ps: don't believe this guy - he's not a miner - he's a trader and just want you to mine it so he can buy it cheap, pump it and dump it...

Can someone tell me how long do those ASICs last? and why?

perhaps years - depends on quality of manufacturing...

to my knowledge they have never delivered anything to anyone yet

true.. but neither has hashra to an extent.. sure they've resold gridseed's but this is the first time theyve delved into the hardware fab side of things

all true - but at least they have a reputation to bank on....

3k for 18 KH plus free cloud is pretty nice though.

they are a very reputable company and have delivered hundreds if not thousands of Gridseeds - I have purchased from them.

they're offering full refund if they're not able to deliver in 5 weeks (I think they say June 10th) - so it appears as though they're confident they'll deliver.

even if they're late I'm sure they'll quickly find buyers on units for anyone who wants a refund. they're 15 mh and 30 mhs units are great deals
1799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: I don't get it, which scrypt ASIC can you buy right now? on: May 01, 2014, 02:49:13 PM
I'm looking at their site now.

I'm a little impressed but not super impressed.

I have two Mining Asic Units on order which will give me 250 Mh/s and I expect them by the 2nd week in august. I'm in the first batch and I spent about $11k

so let's divide Cost/Mhs

Mining Asics : $11,000/250 : $44/Mhs

Now I look at these units and their top of the line is $15000 for 90+ MH - let's assume it's 100 MHs for arguments sake - : $15,000/100 : $150/mh

I'll wait the extra 8 weeks for such a huge advantage

Now - let's look at the Gridseed Blades VS their Lunar Lander Warp 2 @ 15 MHs

Blades 6 X $1,400 to get 30 MHs = $8,400 : 8400/30 = $280/Mhs
Lunar Lander Warp 2 : $5,350 : 5350/30 : $178/Mhs

Their Lunar Lander Warp 2 is a good deal and their Lander 1 is a good deal compared to Blades

so for what's available today - their Lander 1 & 2 are good deal - their higher end units are not worth the money when you could wait an extra 6 to 8 weeks and get three times the hashing power for the same money.

I've been in touch with Marc at Mining Asics and the beginning of August is realistic for their first batch of units.

But I think it's cool they've upped the ante - because it's good for all of us who mine scrypt coins and want the best bang for their buck.

It's not available today tho, its june 10th.

correct and I do reference that fact if you look at the difference in weeks I have quoted for delivery.

but to be sure - this announcement basically kills all Gridseed Blade sales - who in their right mind would spend the money now. I'd wait the 5 weeks for one of these. In fact I'm going to order one today.
