241  Economy / Economics / Re: Largest Bitcoin Address on: March 07, 2016, 01:14:10 PM
I think I found one of the largest Bitcoin addresses and the second largest. I'm probably wrong but it doesn't hurt anyone with me posting them here.

1st Largest I found: https://blockchain.info/address/19iVyH1qUxgywY8LJSbpV4VavjZmyuEyxV Over 5,264,776 BTC ($2.1 billion) received in total.
2nd Largest I found: https://blockchain.info/address/3KgtbGgaX2ngstNpvyv7LwpHSweVeqGbpM Over 4,139,869 BTC ($1.6 billion) received in total.

I think these are the largest total Bitcoin received addresses.
The 1st has received a third of all Bitcoins in circulation.
The 2nd has received just under a third of all Bitcoins in circulation.

Post your thoughts below and the ones you think have received the most Bitcoins in total.
wow amazing, what can I say? they're so lucky.
they have gotten the most bitcoins, maybe we will not get much bitcoin after. haha
Those might be funds of a casino or drug dealer.  Not sure if lucky Smiley
242  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin always be dependent on fiat? Is it? on: March 07, 2016, 01:12:58 PM
Fiat is the main power source of governments. This is why banks and governments are in bed together . Roll Eyes
243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: March 07, 2016, 01:09:44 PM

245  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea Threatens Nuclear Attack as U.S. and South Korea Begin Drills on: March 07, 2016, 01:05:21 PM
Does anyone still believe that North Korea will launch a nuclear attack?
It`s a comedy. Grin Grin Grin
Comedy? They can do serious damage in South Korea and Japan.
If the superpowers wanted, North Korea would be gone in 3 months.
There is nothing to gain in North Korea for them.

246  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who will be the next president ? Poll on: March 07, 2016, 12:57:52 PM
Curious to see what the btctalk community thinks.

people that aren't USA can Vote in this poll... it can false the results Sad
Its a poll on what the btctalk community thinks, not on what the US thinks.
I think it's probably going to be Hilary or Trump.
247  Other / Off-topic / Re: life without bitcoin on: March 06, 2016, 01:51:15 AM
Imagine for a second bitcoin never existed. Where would you be now? Would your life be a lot better? For one, mine would be ^^ too addicted to hyips now to get out... What about you guys?
I wouldn't have the freedom to do fast transactions without third party. I would own less money. I would not be in control of my money. Life would be more slow. I think bitcoin improved my life because of the bitcoin market and the freedom. We'd miss out on all the China buy/sell stories, trollbox and so much more.
248  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: March 06, 2016, 01:46:40 AM
The people who don't believe that we have a gun problem in this country is out of their minds. Countless numbers of people die every year over guns so don't tell me we don't have a gun problem!

Use of guns in self-defense and self-determination (suicide) are both human rights, and not a real problem for anyone but an aggressor. Remove those from the statistics and suddenly you find out that countless more numbers of people die every year because they were {il}legally disarmed for violent criminals' safety.

Everyone should be able to carry as long as they don't have mental illness or are a criminal.

Real criminals (victimful ones) and real mentally ill people (ones who derive pleasure from making innocents suffer) are never kept from carrying guns. Only victimless criminals (jaywalkers) and those politically abused by psychiatry (who think making innocents suffer is wrong).
Criminals always have guns. It's the law obiding citizens who don't have any protection.
249  Economy / Economics / Re: How the Chinese Move Their Money Out of the Economy on: March 05, 2016, 11:00:20 PM
- snip -

Very interesting information, just goes to show that no matter how hard authorities try it is impossible to stop people trading one currency for another. If people think the Chinese currency is going to weaken, they will sell and it (doesn't really) reflects on the competency of the leadership. To run a country like China you have to look infallible, but the truth is all humans make mistakes and economies will crash when they need to.
Of course this is impossible.  The Chinese could also buy products and sell those products abroad. There's no way to stop trade, not even in the most communist countries.

In America, doctors get big money to do this. Called abortion.    Cool
BS. They don't stand on top of dead children here. Abortion is something else...

252  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price for 2016 on: March 05, 2016, 10:54:29 PM
Inflation, economic collapse and the presidential candiates will all make Bitcoin go past 500 this year, that and the block halving, if the devs finally get the block size problem fixed as well that will boost Bitcoin's credibility while politicians are busy bickering amongst themselves.
with it.
Do you think POTUS has influence on the bitcoin price? Last year it was all about China.

256  Other / Politics & Society / Re: North Korea: Kim Jong-un orders nuclear weapons readied for use "at any time" on: March 05, 2016, 06:51:47 PM
That little guy just doesn't know when to quit. Still no one is invading North Korea. The US isn't there to "free" the people. Maybe they do not have enough oil or natural resources in order for them to qualify for freedom.
Of course nobody invades them. What are the financial gains?  Roll Eyes  War is never about morality or good cause.
257  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Free-Press in the West is a BIG FAT LIE on: March 05, 2016, 06:47:47 PM

258  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Banned from BTC-E by a political hack mod and money confesticated on: March 05, 2016, 06:42:42 PM
I thought BTC-e was a Bulgarian site.  How could they have an American mod?  Anyway it's wrong of them to use politics to confiscate money.  I have a little money on that site so maybe I should remove it.
They are not American, theme links to https://btc-e.com/themes/standart/images/order_h.png. Bulgarians use the word Стандарт. I don't know about Russians  Smiley
259  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-03-04] Criminals Use Apple Pay For Fraudulent Purchases on: March 05, 2016, 01:25:14 AM
Mobile payments are only as secure as the wallet service is, and Apple Pay is not doing the best of jobs to protect consumer data.

Apple is not alone. A lot of consumer data is terribly protected. There should be better laws for consumer data protection.

Think about it, if the criminal is carrying that device around they are constantly feeding that information back to Apple. It has been proven that various GPS tracking applications or even phone tower pings can easily track the geographical location of the phone. That is some pretty useful evidence when trying to track down perpetrators and you can connect the dots with CCTV. It's a pretty useful crime fighting combination but it comes at the price of no privacy.

Criminals are expert on technology, I am sure they can circumvent these things.
260  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Western nutjobs destroyed Libya - another of their wrecks. Here are the results on: March 05, 2016, 01:19:12 AM
Last week, major French newspaper Le Monde reported that the French government is engaged in a “secret war” in Libya, and has deployed special forces already. The Pentagon has also talked about its own presence in Libya, and Britain is understood to have some special forces there as well.

The numbers keep growing, and other assets for a Western war in Libya, which officials have been publicly championing for months, are being moved into place. It’s only a matter of time until the “secret war” becomes a public one, but how long?

That’s not clear, as leaked Italian documents confirm that they too are poised to send some ground troops across the Mediterranean, though officially the Italian Defense Ministry insists that there is no “war room” and that the conflict is awaiting the formation of a Libyan unity government.

What is so interesting about Libya? What are the gains for France and Italy?
