My post was made under a scientific perspective. From this perspective, death is our final destination. Frozen ourselves only delays it (but if it increases our life, while we wait for a cure for our problem, go for it).
We should reconsider what we mean by ourselves and conscience. Death our final destination? We have to be open minded. Let me give you some science fiction ideas to become immortal: replacing our hardware. We have some early technology: pacemaker, fake legs. If we completely replace all of our our hardware, we would live for 100s of years or perhaps even longer. fixing our hardware. The vary traditional method. In the event of sickness use pills etc. Can we stretch life this way to infinity? time travelLive your life from young to old. Everytime you get old travel back in time to being young. brain transplanttransfer the brain into new body. Humans would have a new body every 50-100 years. componentsWe divide our conscience (brian) into components. We implement these components into a new living human being. In practice there are cases known of human beings losing part of themselves due to brain damage (left/right disconnection and others). What if we could simply take components and put them in any human being? This also implies you can become a mix with your wife or friend. That is to say, to become one. recreating ourselves. In the event we die, we print ourselves exactly as we were. Yes, I do mean a 3d printer that prints human beings. This means an exact copy of our body. This also implies that you could be alive in several bodies, all across the world or space. Different versions of yourself could be alive at the same time (Young, adult). reincarnationWe download our conscience (brain, about 2.5 petabytes of data and additional structure / system). By uploading you can then literally be reborn as any animal, machine or space system. Download and upload could be simultaneously, so any type of traffic would be obsolete (Trains, cars, planes etc). The later two have severe consequences. Here are some thoughts: - You could meet yourself and shake hands.
- You can see yourself die and go on with your life
- You can be at zero or more places at the same time
- You can be anywhere in the world within a split second
- You could be half of you if merged with another brain
- You could be a bird on monday, a dolphin on tuesday and a giraffe on wednesday.
- You could be everything that lives in different shapes
These are truly fantasies but as a scientist you should remain open minded. But why be immortal when everyone else goes to heaven

Muslim students at a German university have seized control of a “silent room” designed as a space for all pupils, transforming it into a makeshift mosque and erecting a wall to segregate genders. There are also feet washing facilities and signs instructing women to wear the veil and to not wear perfume.
Squatting is illegal in Germany. They may get prison time.

Russian wars since the end of WW2:
Korean War Hungarian Revolution Invasion of Czechoslovakia War of Attrition Eritrean War of Independence Angolan Civil War Ethio-Somali War Soviet-Afghan War
Which Russia are you talking about? Russia was not existent from 1917 to 1992. Perhaps you need a few history lessons as well. The USSR is not equal to Russia. The USSR was a union of 15 different republics, including Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.etc. Now if you want to compare USSR with the US, then it is for another topic. Perhaps you need a few history lessons as well. Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. 1917–1993. Western world view is that Soviet Union as a Union that collapsed, Russians view it as Russian territory that got lost.

You are blaming the US but Russia, China, Saudi Arabia and tons of others are doing the same with different social motivations.
We are blaming the US because it is the root cause of terrorism around the world. Ever since the end of the WW2 in 1945, the United States have invaded or triggered proxy wars in more than 70 countries. The Al Qaeda was funded and armed by the CIA, at least in the starting phase. The Americans have toppled secular governments in the middle east, and have replaced them with hardline Islamist regimes. I remain sceptical. What makes you think other superpowers don't do the same? I was thinking that people who follow Islam must be really dumb to follow such a pathetic religion.
Can we effectively say that 22% of the worlds population is dumb??
Muslims are ok with animal sex and paedophilia so you'd think it's difficult for someone to believe in Islam. However, a significant amount of humans do believe. Or do they not? In many middle eastern countries saying you are not muslim would instantly make you a 2nd class citizen. Lose your job, lose your rights, be attacked by strangers, lose your family or perhaps even lose your citizenship. There are a lot of consequences. In practice this means that people can be officially registered as muslim, but do not believe at all. The real number of muslims is difficult to measure for this reason but we could estimate if we classify them in groups: fundamentalist, fanatic, average, below average. Why Europeans must accept millions of immigrants? This is great economic and demographic problem for Europe! You must find lots of job and homes for those people.. Why? They have Saudi Arabia and Turkey arabic and islamist countries..
Actually it's a demographic solution for Europe, as European population doesn't reproduce that much... The global population expansion and accompanying increase in resource consumption may threaten the world's ecosystem. Besides, we will see a new industrial revolution so that point of the European agenda is not needed.

I cant really imagine this lol.
Honestly though, where would I be without endless entertainment, or free information on blogs and other priceless things. Yeah, its hard to see a world without internet, it would be all back with the printing press to get news etc.
Same here. Trying to figure out my answer to this question but yea I believe I'm absolutely blanked out. Guess without internet, things would be more manual and people would be more productive? That would be my guess. It depends on several factors like politics and economics. We could assume it would be like the 70s.

don't worry their working on war with Russia and China plenty of countries to destroy yet Always a new boogie man for the US imperialists and war contractors.
US works on destabilization of whole region, and as always they came as saviors of humans rights and democracy but in reality, they care only for crude oil. All countries have commercial or strategic interests but you can't convince soldiers or citizens that these are good reasons. They need "bad guy", "terrorist", "the new hitler","democracy" or some other kind of social motivation. Turn on your TV and you know who the new bad guys are You are blaming the US but Russia, China, Saudi Arabia and tons of others are doing the same with different social motivations.

There is a reason to censor hate speeches on Facebook. Another topic is the right of using your speech freely. Both may contain rude language and are based on insufficient knowledge aka being dumb or "crazy". But to say this would be a discussion about immigration in germany goes way beyond the intention Facebook and the german government has. Perhaps some posts or messages may have very valid arguments, but it simply does not suit the agenda of the german government. Posts from Ukrainian and Russian groups with nazi agenda are simply ignored. Facebook simply listens to money

Between borders always were problems. One side claims border should be here because of year 1.. and the other side speak about maybe 1399...The best solution is to divide them and teritory with palestinian majority should be palestine..they can't live together and dividing them this terrible war will be finished and both parties will have their land.
Well have to take responsibility on this, Europeans divided the countries like shit! We really destroyed the normal territories... We shouldn't have tried to create them their country. I don't think the war will be finished because there are individuals who do not accept the other party.

Russian law is very different from European and culture.
Civil code is nearly identical, it's based on the same roman law. Socialist-style modifications took place in the 1920s, but changes are relative minor. However, a law enforcement system is quite different sometimes... Our police is has no right to use firearms against unarmed people, unless it's proven that specific person is armed. Control is pretty strict, that's why many police officers even don't carry the pistols... They prefer to use batons or stun guns due to greater safety and efficiency. This is a very big difference. Europeans also risk jail time, whereas I think this is different in Russia.

Are you kidding? This IS what ISIS is doing in Syria to the Syrian people. Murdering, pillaging, raping, eradicating those who they think are infidels.
It's awful.
And your facts on the US are terrible incorrect. Yes, there was a lot of fighting and killing but there wasn't rape, there wasn't forced marriage, there wasn't mass murder. Please get your facts straight or lose the passive aggressive approach toward your distaste for the US.
Its not really my thought, I do not hate the US, but your telling me native Americans weren't murdered? conquered? from their own country? Edit and women weren't raped? It's history. All of the world murdered and conquered. The US is a great country, ISIS land is hell.

I've known quite a few Jews and considered most of them friends. I never quite understood the stereotypes associated with them, because the ones I knew were kind and extremely generous. A lot of them did fit the stereotype of being smart and kind of neurotic.
Muslims and Jews are groups that have may tension. This may be due to writings in the Quran and Torah. Muslims may live peacefully next to Jews but they may have anti-Semitic ideas. Orthodox Jews have a very strong 'us and them' mentality. Both have terms for the other group: Infidel/Kaffir and Goyim.

The Saudi claims are laughable. With all the advanced weaponry supplied by the United States, Canada and the other NATO nations, the Saudi Armed Forces are still getting their asses kicked by the Houthis in Yemen. Now remember that the Houthis are armed with just AK-47s and RPGs. Imagine how they will perform against the well trained regime forces in Syria.
Let's be honest, no nation has been able to successfully invade another since ww2 apart from China no? USA tried many times but always failed and got their debt bigger and bigger and the pockets of weapons manufacturers fuller and fuller ^^ Define successfully. We (the US) invaded Iraq successfully.

I am new to bitcoin world, and i have done survey about the past of bitcoin, and shocked to see how bitcoin grew its value. It was 0.01$ for 1 btc in 2010 and now it is 380$ and still increasing day by day... And , Wall Street Analyst writes, "Bitcoin price could reach 98.5k $". So will you save btc for future or not.. If yes, then for how many years??
Its a good question. The price of bitcoin is hard to predict. One month the price is moving up 100$, another month its moving 100$ down. In 2010 almost nobody heard about bitcoin. If the consensus increases you may find a higher price.

My hypothesis is that genes play a much more important role than race. In the image we see large amounts of people both black and white who have an iq lower than 100. However we must be sceptical. What year is this picture from? What source? This is a bell curve showing results of studies comparing races and ethnic groups with IQ among U.S. test subjects show differences in average test scores (Reynolds et al. 1987) However there may be bias due to people (value education, in some Asian families a bad grade is shame to the family), educational possibilities (in the US education is not free), drugs usage etc. When we look at the number of people with an iq higher or equal to 130 this is pretty low in all races. But, within the Asian countries there are vast differences. The average iq of South Korea is 106, Indonesia is 89 and Philippines 86. (IQ and the Wealth of Nations, 2002). That is to say, either education or genes play an enormous role. This means the Philippines (Asian) has about the same bell curve as the black curve, while the South Korean bell curve is much more similar to the asian curve. This is why we could claim that genes play a much more important role than race. The claim of picture four "These are not the same species" may be false, because a species is defined as the largest group of organisms (animals) where two individuals are capable of reproducing (sexual reproduction). The other images are jokes and historical events, so no comment on those.
