401  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bank of America legal attack on: December 20, 2015, 12:01:14 PM
I think it is time for us to take over  Bank Of America  IP to show them the power of a decentralized system.
And lets start here. If we will start trading coins named as the Bank Of America and using the official logo of the company it can get really interesting

Are you American? If you mess with honey in the beehive, the swarm is heading towards you

403  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where does the left-wing love for Islam came from? on: December 20, 2015, 11:47:30 AM
The Muslim immigrants to the Western nations always vote for the extreme-left and center-left political parties. That explains the deep love which the leftist liberals have for these people. The leftist support among the native population has been going down ever since the 1980s. These Muslim immigrants have helped them to turn that around.
Isn't leftist liberals a contradiction? Leftists usually are opposed to freedom and want to give government more control.
404  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Program Python3 to check address balance in Bitcoin Core on: December 20, 2015, 11:37:09 AM
I test to check the balance with external service:

http://blockexplorer.com/q/addressbalance/address
https://blockchain.info/es/q/addressbalance/address

I need more links.
Does anyone know any more direction?

Thanks

If you just want to check on blockchain explorer sites, there are quite a few of those:
http://blockr.io/api/v1/address/info/address

Simply parse the JSON data, python 3 has a module for that.
405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Waiting for the day when Amazon & eBay accept BTC on: December 20, 2015, 11:30:23 AM
I think with Amazon you can buy a giftcard with bitcoin and with that you can buy something.
For me the most important thing that all the stores of the world (the famous one) should just accept bitcoin.
You can buy a giftcard with bitcoin on gyft.com. I heard about that site a while ago but do not know if it's safe.

Anonymity s the issue here. As long as you can stay anonymus and ripp off people, no big merchant ll accept BTC. This ability to hide identity s absolutely the biggest shit BTC has brought to us. Only SCAMMERS hide their identity.
A perfect case of faulty generalization and a very ignorant statement.
Lauda, why don't you use your real name on this forum?   Grin
406  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS is afraid of women on: December 20, 2015, 11:23:58 AM
According to Islam, if their fighters die in the hand of other men, while fighting for Islam, they'll go to heaven. But, if they die in the hand of women, they'll go to hell.

Islam has sitty rules..ISIS deframe Islam rules for their own selfishness.
ISIS has propaganda of expelling women from major outdoor work.
According to them women are only to breed.
yes its true ISIS is afraid of women because they can't simply change the mind of women in the name of religion. but islam rules is really good not selfishness or sitty rules, only ISIS is trying to make it to show that islam has selfishness rules. they are making their own rules. they don't have brain no good education, they got guns in their hands and killing innocent people . this is all politics only. now a days muslim women is working together in office too.
which good rules does islam have?  I think it has only shitty rules. ISIS seems to follow the quran literally, same thing as muhammed.

A transgender father who abandoned his seven children to start a new life as a “6-year-old girl” is being celebrated by some fruitcakes as a shining example of diversity. You can´t make this shit up. Where do you think those ideas come from? Does leadership influence what it leads?
Can you link to the source of this article?   These ideas come from one or more people who have money to donate to the media.
408  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do people hate islam? on: December 19, 2015, 04:16:24 PM
News, news and news. No other specific reason there is.
The Muslims make themselves hated because of terror attacks, bombs, beheading and torture around the world. The news only broadcasts this so news is not the cause of the hate. The root of the hate is not news but the Muslims themselves.
409  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-12-04] A New Service Called CoinCube Can Help Manage Your BTC on: December 19, 2015, 04:12:54 PM
I guess if they earn only when you profit, they'll work hard to ensure their system works.

Or to make sure it looks like you're profiting. How many times have people "invested" their BTC, looking for gains, only to find their trusted third party running away with the money?
The same thing may happen with this service. I don't see any benefits of giving my BTC to an institution except profits. People mentioned the company takes your profit, so there are no benefits at all.
410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2016 - Bitcoin or Blockchain? on: December 19, 2015, 04:10:11 PM
Lots of people believe that 2016 will be a very good year for the bitcoin industry. I Believe that 2016 will even more important for the Blockchain.

So where to invest in the coming year?

http://www.thestreet.com/story/13403132/1/a-case-for-investing-in-bitcoin-in-2016.html
Bitcoin is going to be around the next couple of years. I expect a price rise in 2016. Bitcoin cannot be separated from the Blockchain. Some companies are investing in having their own chains separate from the blockchain.
411  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin - Wordpress on: December 19, 2015, 04:06:31 PM
I did something similar for a friend's eshop and i used woocommerce + Bitcoin Payments for WooCommerce (http://www.bitcoinway.com/products/)

It uses electrum wallet only, but no fees at all.

It is 100% free but there is a professional edition, too, with some extra settings.

Hope you find this helpful. Good luck!

Recommend to avoid Bitcoin Payments for WooCommerce plugin. Support is poor and the plugin does not work with the latest version of Electrum. If you want to accept payment direct to your bitcoin wallet CoinSimple works. Prefer a payment processor? Take a good look at Coinify. They are better to work with than Bitpay.

Why is Coinify better to work with than Bitpay? Why does the WooCommerce plugin not work with Electrum? Are they doing something strange with that plugin?
412  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 19, 2015, 04:04:18 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?

I would prefer diversity there is no safe investment in this world but your key to get rich is investing either online or locally but it always pays to invest in your self you must become financial literate first before you get involve on investing and saving

There are some safe investments like gold and stuff. But the thing is, you just have to invest wisely. If you do this, you will for sure make money and not lose money.
This is the challenge: to invest wisely. If you do this you will make more money. If you save, you lose, because of inflation and negative interest rates.
413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling, Money is not everything on: December 19, 2015, 04:00:20 PM
When it comes to gambling, money is everything. Without money you can't gamble, or you gotta have something that's worth just as much as money.
I only gamble for entertainment, nothing more is fun then to do something to please your entertainment as well as having a chance to win something.

Gambling to earn money . So money is everything.
Gambling to have fun . But have fun cant be everything in this situation. In the end money still is everything yeah.

Gambling is all about money. People play with bitcoins not with goxcoins  Cheesy  You can get fun from gambling, but in the end it's about money. As mentioned, without money you can't gamble.
414  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: do you believe with bitcoin on: December 19, 2015, 03:56:34 PM
do you believe with bitcoin in the future can replace fiat as a number one currency?

For now and 5-10 years from now i believe bitcoin can replace as a number one currency like dollar and euro, because some people aleady know about bitcoin and the price keep higher.

Yes that's why I am using Bitcoin you are right for next 5 - 10 years Bitcoin is gonna take over many currency that's why some of the big investors have invested in Bitcoin and I believe that Bitcoin's value will be doubled in 12 months

How will it replace if the market cap is tiny compared to dollars? I think the bitcoin price will go up, but to go up 10.000 times?  Huh  Do you see governments adapting bitcoin as national currency soon?
415  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Shocking Times: Movement for Pedophile “Rights” Marches On on: December 19, 2015, 03:54:06 PM
Some of the LGBT activists want to extend the term to include beastiality and pedophilia. "LGBTBP" is the term proposed by them. There are pro-pedophile groups in various Western European countries, and these organizations receive legal and financial support from the LGBT lobbying groups. Vereniging Martijn of the Netherlands and the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMbLA) are examples.
Why are these groups even legal?

Having a conversation about the rights of adults taking away the rights of children is insane. And yet this will be the next battle. Some taboos are almost universal. Almost I said because in some countries or religion, 7 is an appropriate age...  Embarrassed

In some Islamic countries pedophilia is not illegal and not a taboo. Marry a 10 year old is normal there.. but they are backwards.

So, Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump praises each other. What does that tell you?
Saudi prince praises Hillary. What does that tell you?
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: December 19, 2015, 01:10:46 PM
NXT is pretty fast, it has 1 min block time, compared to 10min in btc, so i dont know what your talking about.

If the use case is an exchange that enables day trading, 1 minute is an eternity to some.

besides fastcoin, there were not other altcoin with a faster block time, 1 min is considered the best for altcoin already lowering even more is only asking for a better orphan rate

Yea 1 min is pretty solid, i would even go as far as 3 min.   But 10 min seems too slow for me.

I have to wait usually 20-30 min for a TX to complete, it's ridiculous.

How spoiled we became, for bank transfer we wait 4 days, and we are angry to wait 30 min for bitcoin transfer Cheesy

But still, if its possible, why not make it 2-3 min long?

The transaction time 10n times is faster, but is it as secure  Huh

How many BTC will make you a fiat millionaire ($) in 5 years? Why?
419  Economy / Speculation / Re: If the US dollar crashed, would it affect bitcoin in any way? on: December 19, 2015, 11:50:04 AM
As we all know the global nature of world market - particularly how oil is traded in USD, it's likely that every economy will be significantly impacted.
Then a shift to a next best currency would likely occur quite quickly - but I doubt that it will anything crypto related. Also we will see significant rise of price of precious metals  (gold, silver).
Countries are also likely to ditch the USD and enter into direct trade deals with each other using their own national currencies instead of USD. Then at later date after the crisis bitcoin might rise to power...
I think the price of bitcoin will rise once a global currency crashes. Crypto price will rice along with a crash, but I also doubt it would be used by governments. Nobody knows if the crash is this decade or the next.
