1001  Economy / Speculation / Re: Which profession has the best chance of predicting Bitcoin prices? on: July 23, 2014, 03:44:44 PM
The big miners.

I think so too, these are probably a few who can do relatively good price predictions.
1002  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: good script for virual currency casino on: July 23, 2014, 03:40:39 PM
subject told you everything. I need some free script for virtual currency casino I wanted to use Poker Mavens really but it cost too much for my "budget".

I don't think you'll find a free script for that, try the services forum.

There have not been any made up scandals with president Obama. He has simply chosen to ignore the scandals and has attempted to cover them up.
Many scandals have been come along, but he choses his words in such a way that all of them seem irrelevant.

Not only about Muslims, but US cops seams to have shady tactics. Maybe because jails are private and need inmates for profit...
Just waste a few minutes of your life to see such a BS reality TV show as "Bait car".

If there are no prisoners there are not profits.  2.260.000 people in the US are behind bars.
The number of prisoners is more than the total population of some countries, one has to wonder if imprisonment is the solution.

Actually world wide at least 9 out of 10 people get away clean with crime. What US is doing is not allowing that to happen in such a scale.

Crime still happens in the government level - one can do a lot of crime in that area and get away with it. For example, any random person trying to run a mass surveillance program would obviously face charges - but within the government, it's legal to use the data for any purpose.

US intelligence: No direct link to Russia in Malaysia plane downing

Unnamed US officials are telling Associated Press that their intelligence suggests Malaysia plane shot down by anti-Kiev militia, no link to Russia found.

Looks like the US is moving to the second stage: "if you can no longer maintain a lie, twist the truth"

I already thought the government was fast to conclude and point a finger.  I don't think we'll ever know what is on the black box.
1006  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Two official political jokes from Kiev today on: July 23, 2014, 03:00:41 PM
Jatsenjuk says that Kiev will impose sanctions against Russia (or at least those Russians who voice their support for freedom fighters). They even established a special committee which task is to develop the range of sanctions to be imposed against Russia:
http://ria.ru/politics/20140723/1017196525.html

This has got to be a joke.. sanctions by Kiev... it's not like Ukraine is multi-trillion dollar economy that will impact the Russian Federation.
Perhaps Jatsenjuk ment sactions by the EU government or US government

1007  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 23, 2014, 12:41:05 PM
It's been a while since I've been on the PD signature as I moved over to the fixed deals as they're better for me as I only do around 50-100 posts, but I'm eager to see if Stunna moves to a fixed rate. Hopefully he'll better the current deals or make it 100 posts instead of 50 or something. Will the new deals be coming for Pd3?

Starting from next month I think stunna is moving onto fixed payments based on activity but I'm not sure as I have only heard this off other members.

I think per constructive post is much more fair - activity based a member can do all month nothing and still get paid.
1008  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kiev media prepare fake news about Malaysian aircraft. on: July 23, 2014, 10:32:40 AM
Yes, but you implicitly assume there is no suspicious info in the data that would somehow confirm that the aircraft had been shot down by the militants (or Russia).
It doesn't matter. Any mismatch between published info and copy will be enough to troll them blatantly, even if this difference will be insignificant. Smiley

But if the data is encrypted how on earth can it be deciphered by Russians? I doubt it strongly they (investigators) will publish encrypted (raw) data or convey it to Russia to make such comparison possible. And Russia has nothing to do with the crash as Putin himself said, correct? So they (Russians) won't be able to use this info even if they laid their hands on the remaining black boxes.

There is way too much financial and political interest behind this to do a decent research. I predict, in the end, thousands of people will die and a small group of guys will get more money and power.

1009  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why is sex slavery morally wrong but conscription is OK? on: July 23, 2014, 10:23:54 AM
The "Kidnapping citizens to Ukrainian army" thread got me wondering...

Why is sex slavery morally wrong but conscription is OK?

They are both examples of forced labor. They are both dangerous and emotionally and physically damaging to the victim. Someone who is forced into prostitution could get AIDS and other venereal diseases. They might be raped or murdered. Someone who is forced into becoming a soldier and made to fight could get their brains blown out or their limbs amputated by a roadside bomb. They might suffer from PTSD.

Heck, I think I'd rather be forced into sex slavery than be forced into fighting a war. Unless I personally believed that the reasons behind the war were worth risking my life for which case I would voluntarily join the army anyway (extremely unlikely). I would think that my chances of survival would be greater as a prostitute too.

So why is it that we despise people who force other people into sex slavery but we have no problem with people in suits forcing people who don't want to fight to kill others and be killed? Shouldn't the latter be even more horrific than the former?

Both are very wrong, media propaganda makes it seems like it's normal. In nearly every country of the world kidnapping is illegal. The reason is some rich guys in the top want more money and power, trough the suffering of others. I mean Stalin, Obama and Hitler have more in common with each other than with you and me.

NoScript + Ghostery + Adblockplus

Problem solved.

There is still tracking trough your searches, dns requests, unencrypted connections (http) and pages you visit.  Everything you click on is being recorded in one way or another.  I think the only way to overcome all of these problems is a new kind of protocol for exchange of data and files, let's call it Web 3.0  Grin
1011  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kidnapping citizens to Ukrainian army. on: July 23, 2014, 10:05:37 AM
Kiev did announce full mobilisation, which many leaders in he punitive battalions interpret as "we can grab anyone and force them to fight".

Every country has its laws for war times, in some countries citizens are obligated by the law to serve in the army if there is a war, but dunno what laws Ucrania has.

Currently, it's the law of the strongest. You don't what to fight? Oh, well, we know where your sister lives...

This should be much bigger new in the media. This whole war is a b*llsh*t, it's never been about the people - but about which grayheaded guys get the power and money.
1012  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UK to decriminalize file sharing on: July 23, 2014, 09:59:22 AM
Beginning in 2015, internet users who persistently file-share will be sent a series of warning letters explaining that their actions are illegal. However, authorities will take no further action if the user continues downloading the material.

I think it is the right thing to do. I have seen too many teenagers (and adults) who do not have the slightest intention of paying for digital content, including music, films and games. They even believe they have a right to download them for free!?

However, sending warning letters is not much for a deterrent.  Embarrassed

Personally I think the business models must change, not the people. I mean, you can't stop copying - ever. I mean sure, people still buy books - but we have the copy machine.  .. or alternatively that's just the way it is.
1013  Other / Politics & Society / Tracking on the web on: July 22, 2014, 10:41:45 PM
It's getting so huge these days, there are more than 100.000 websites that try to make a unique fingerprint of who you are.
What do you think, is this really neccesary?  should the web be reformed, or should the tracking increase?
should there be laws on tracking, or basically, anything is allowed?

For a random list see http://bitbin.it/kVdKkkVL (it's a little messy, but you can see the sites) but of course, the scale is far beyond this list
1014  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia sponsor of terrorsm --Putin ,,war criminal,, on: July 22, 2014, 08:19:17 PM
yes, but GDP per capita have nothing to do with age of death...

You seriously contest the productivity gain of the last century ? The agro revolution ? informatics ?

I don't deny the gains in productivity in the last century, but you should understand that GDP per capita is also in direct proportion to the productive years of men (and yes, even an annual GDP per capita), which have increased significantly during the same period of time.

GDP has increased, but so has the debt. Part of the reason the wages kept rising is using paid money of the future..
Of course there were other reasons, but this could be a major contributor.
1015  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Which game you would like to play for bitcoins? on: July 22, 2014, 08:14:57 PM
I am making a bitcoin gaming website where users will earn bitcoin by playing games.I am confused which game to add.I need your suggestion that which game to add game will be in HTML.If you will win the game u will g double bitcoin if u loss then it loss.
I am thinking that games like candy crush saga will be better
What do you think?

I think chess would be an interesting option, there could be an online competition where the 1st price wins the most bitcoin, and say the 10th price the fewest.
It would be a game I'd play, it's pretty timeless.  Smiley
1016  Economy / Economics / Re: Any other ways to store value anonymously? on: July 22, 2014, 08:08:25 PM
Note: Technically Bitcoin is pseudonymous, but in order to simplify things, I will be referring to any method of storing value that isn't linked to your ID to be "anonymous".

OK, so other than Bitcoin and altcoins, the only other anonymous ways of storing value that I can think of are cash and precious metals. Are there any others? Or is it just these three?

A bank account would be linked to your name and identity, and so would a house or business under your name. It would be impossible to discern the owner of a $100 note, a bar of gold, or a carefully managed bitcoin address and if someone had their assets confiscated for whatever reason, the government would not be able to get their hands on a well-hidden stash of cash, gold, or bitcoins.

Find things that don't inflate over time.
Some random ideas:

Car wheels.. I think they'll always be used - but I'm not a mechanic.
Flower seeds.. flowers are usually sold together in a group of 4-6 for around $2 or $3, I don't think this price will drop
Guns. I think governments/people will need them in the future
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: Please stop with mBTC, microBTC, ...! on: July 22, 2014, 07:50:03 PM
With all those terms coming around, it gets very confusing - but this confusion only appears when you need to convert say nBTC to uBTC
or nBTC to bits. BTC is also a great unit.. I think everyone on this forum knows the current BTC market price.
I think overtime a lot of these units will be abandoned.

1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How big do you think the Crypto bubble will get? Compared to internet bubble? on: July 22, 2014, 07:36:11 PM
We are a part of the Crypto bubble the internet bubble 2.0

Crypto is following the same trajectory of the internet. The internet was created and then a couple years later start ups started to pop up.

Bitcoin was created then a couple years later start ups are starting to pop up.

How big do you think this bubble will get?

I think we are in the early adaptors phase. I mean, still today, many people have no clue about wallets, bitcoin transactions etc..
New technology is generally adapted slowly.. it took a while until there were lightbulbs in every house hold, it took a while until there was a train network in the US, I think the same applies to cryptocurrency. Such things never happen in an eye blink, in a few years I think bitcoin market will be 4 to 10 times the current size.
1019  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kiev media prepare fake news about Malaysian aircraft. on: July 22, 2014, 07:20:16 PM
I would argue that Russia is likely behind the shooting down of the airplane. Russia has a very tight grip on their media and is probably telling it to report these false reports.

It's also possible the CIA shot down the plane, you have to stay open minded despite all of the stuff the media throws at you. After all, we know from earlier leaks that the government/media often has an agenda.
Why would the CIA shoot down the plane? They have no reason to do this and the Russians have created a lot of propaganda around this incident.

CIA is sponsored by the US industry and the IMF wants their debts paid  Smiley As for Russia, they have Crimea already.. I'm not sure they are interested in the other parts of the Ukraine - other than for strategic reasons.

Thanks everyone for info

In time your ranking will go up, just be patient and keep posting. I think people reach member status after about a 2-3 month period. After you hang out a few months on the forums (and posting) you will reach Full Member status, this happens within half a year.
The more mathematical and detailed explanation is:
