Bitminter had a very good interface, I am not sure if they support this.

is usb mining still worth it?, how about its ROI?
No, even with free electricity, the difficulty is rising too fast as ASICs are being shipped, more miners=less profit for everyone. The people with the highest GH/J always get ROI. For USB miners, they do not have a good hashrate and GH/J and GH/$.
8622  Other / Meta / Re: remove limits from bitcointalk.org account on: July 21, 2014, 09:31:24 AM
There used to be only a newbie section. Now, it is removed, I don't see reason why mods would remove the 360 second limit upon request. If they approve of this, the forum would only become a spam place. The 360second limit will lowered. Your activity limit will increase by 14 per two active weeks. Activity change occurs at 30minutes intervals.
8623  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about post quality for PRIMEDICE signature campaign. on: July 21, 2014, 09:21:23 AM
sweet jesus... over $15k for advertising.... I suppose for a large site or business that would be nothing. To us little people... sweet jesus comment still stands.

The sigs must (hopefully!!) be working well for Stunna.

It just tells us how big the bitcoin gambling market is. Wink

I mean, if Stunna can afford to pay $15K each month on advertising, you should be winning a lot more than that.
And considering PD operates with just 1% edge, it means the wagered amount is a huge number.

The on-site stat is showing: "BTC WAGERED: 399,176.1773" at this moment (July 21 09:09 AM GMT), let see how much it will get to in a month. Smiley
My guess is that some people would collect payment and go back to PD to bet all the signature payment. If they lose, Stunna will have near free advertising. I believe it is a way to give back to the community for their support. This attracts a lot of forum members IMO, better than forum ads.
8624  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature & Personal MSG Campaign ★☆★ Newb,jr,mem Ref Bonus 10%! on: July 21, 2014, 09:17:46 AM
I'm still confused on how this works.
Do the posts from Jul 17-21's count towards our wages?
Because I'm enrolled in the 4th pay date.
Yes, once you enrolled, you will be paid based on the amount of post you made from the date you enrolled to the pay date. The amount of post made will be resettled after the payday and you will have to post more again to get paid.
8625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Block chain size/storage and slow downloads for new users on: July 21, 2014, 09:15:54 AM
my blockchain is very slow too and use up alot of memory i want to know what its for tho  Undecided
Your bitcoin core will sync up to 20+GB of data. It will verify blocks and sync the blockchain. Since the blockchain have 20+GB, it will take sometime, depending on you and your peers internet speed. Your bitcoin directory will be filled with transactions from the past and after syncing, you can see the balance and use it.
8626  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: signature area on: July 21, 2014, 08:21:54 AM
I think Scratch Ticket is the best signature campaign for newbie an Jr. Member. It pay too little but still IT IS PAYING
If you are going to post only 30 unconstructive post per week, go for scratchticket. However, even 10 of the post wit 777coin's signature can easily net more than one week of the scratchticket's. week If you are able to post constructively, go for 777coin.

8628  Economy / Lending / Re: An absurd policy on: July 20, 2014, 01:08:21 PM
Firstly I have no interest in getting a loan!

I like to scan through the site and have been reading lots of topics of people offering loans demanding 120% collateral, while it is up to the lender to create the terms it just seems to be a risk free way to lend - I am of the understanding that it is the lender who should take the risk, hence why charging interest.

Just my (worthless) opinion.

 Smiley
There are threads which offers no collateral loans. They have a few defaults. The purpose of collateral is to reduce the risk of default. Lenders aren't charging high interest, a few loans isn't going to cover one default. It would be a almost certain chance of defaults. Not much lender actually want your collateral. If you default, they wouldn't want to keep it, hence they ask for 120% collateral so they can sell it if you default. The additional 20% is to reduce the risk of alt coin falling below 100% of the loaned value. There isn't use for a lender to ask for 100% alt coin value of bitcoin when alt coin isn't that stable by logic. If they can't get at least 100% of what you loaned in case you default, why would they want to loan you.

8630  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I NEED AN ADULT!!...and advice on: July 20, 2014, 09:59:40 AM
alright folks,

i need advice on a little bit of everything. all i have is NAVcoin and i just dont know what else to do. i have very little money to work with, but im looking to "earn" whatever i make. im a little scrambled with what people say. also, on a side note, how do i rank up?Huh i've been a newbie for a month now. any and all comments are welcome...except negative ones...no one wants to hear that...

My recommendation for you is to keep browsing the forum and posting and looking for work. Once you become a member (60 activity) you can join some signature campaign (like mine) and earn decent BTC through posting. But other than that, enjoy the bitcoin ecosystem. Smiley
i've been getting the hang of writing in forums and stuff so thats good, but what do you mean look for work?
As soon as you become a member (it takes ~2 months) you can join a signature campaign and earn a little bitcoin for posting.
now, is it 30 activity to become a junior member? and are campaigns for junior members or mostly for members and up
AFAIK, there is only one or two campaigns for Jr.member. All of the others are closed. I would recommend you to wait a little longer and become a member. Joining a reputable campaign is much more reliable. In two months or less, you will be a member already.
Would it be that bad of an idea even if i only do it for a month till i become a member? With what little i do make, i feel that i can just put it back into the system and buy a little with it
It isn't bad, however if the signature campaign's operator decided to run, all your time and BTC will be gone. If you don't join one of those, you can surf the forums and look around and understand more about technical parts of bitcoin. When you are ready, you can join and contribute ideas better to the community.
8631  Economy / Goods / Re: Anonymous reloadable prepaid plastic VISA ATM cards with own IBAN on: July 20, 2014, 08:26:27 AM
In the event that the card is demagnetized, will you be able to send us a new card? Also, how do you prevent yourself from dealing with scammers?
8632  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular Bitcoin Game! | 700M+ Bets | 390k+ BTC Wagered | on: July 20, 2014, 07:51:52 AM
Arghh lost my all my money.. Sad i have no money left in my pocket just lost on primedice.. its becasue of slow rolling error.. stunna please check this .. and if you can give me back i will appreciate you Smiley thnkx

I know that there are players who losese over 10 btc or more .. but i have only 0.11 which i lose on pd .. Smiley sir please help me Smiley

STUNNA sir please help me :
Bets are predetermined through secret, client seed and server seed. I don't think the error affects any variable unless you refreshed. I doubt Stunna would refund you, he would fix the bug most likely. It isn't fair for every user to bet and say that they lost it through the error then asking for a refund.
8633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Share where you get free bitcoin or invest on: July 20, 2014, 07:39:04 AM
You can got a free bitcoin from faucet website or investing in Cex.io or PBMining. It Works  Wink
Stop cloud mining man.... The maintainence fees and price is too high there. Even without fees, the difficulty increase will make it unprofitable. It Is literally jumping into a blackhole purposely.
8634  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 20, 2014, 07:35:13 AM
Hello,
I see that people are getting paid already, but I am still not. Is there any problem I should be worried about?
BR

You received it.

Why did you post this?
Hi,
But there is no transaction into my wallet  Sad
I am really getting worried, because I see there is confirmed payment in blockchain to me. What should I do?! Please help me Cry

OMG... Mister senior member, you should know this stuff by now...
Client? Version? OS?
Make sure your blockchain is synced and you have connected peers. If you still can't see, import it into blockchain.info wallet .
8635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Share where you get free bitcoin or invest on: July 20, 2014, 07:05:35 AM
Offering services at the service section is a good way to earn if you know how to program things. Otherwise, lookout for Stunna's giveaway. When they reach a milestone, they will often organise giveaways. If you surf the forum and learn about some technical stuff, when you reach member, you can join a signature campaign and post constructively.
8636  Other / Meta / Re: How to get faster pms instead of 360 second lag? on: July 20, 2014, 06:59:57 AM
As your activity and rank rises, your wait time will become lower. Basically, a Jr.member should be able to read and respond to the message without limited since it takes a few minutes to respond.
8637  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What's a "shared adress"? on: July 20, 2014, 06:51:12 AM
Shared address are address which are shared among some users. They can be from a online wallet, exchange or other gaming platforms, they are not controlled by you and if you win, the system may send it back to the address which you do not control and the amount will not be credited to your exchange or wallet account.

Exactly.

But isn't bitcoinfog a mixer? Why couldn't the user send bitcoin from the mixer to his/her deposit address of an exchange or gambling site?
My guess is that if any verification is needed, the user may have to sign the address to prove that he own the address.

8639  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: is it profitable to start mining today?? on: July 20, 2014, 06:38:15 AM
best bet is to buy used stuff for really cheap...

i bought 11 antminers for about 1500. ive been getting .05-.065 btc a day depending on pool luck... will it roi?Huh eventually itnwill.... how long depends on luck and any diff increases....

andpriceof btc...
You need really good electrical rate to ROI. Even though those are cheap, their lifespan may not be as long as a new one, and they May underperform. Difficulty is likely to rise a bit faster since more ASICs are being shipped.

based on your activity, you'll become JR.member on July 22nd, 2014, 9:06:40 AM
and one month later, you'll become member
there's few campaign who accept jr.member as participants, but they paid lower (much lower) than member one
but it's better than nothing, i remembered XBTew campaign who accept jr.member and pay them 0.0005 BTC / post, just in one day that campaign full, and 60% of participants are jr.member Tongue
XBTec's campaign is currently closed. I think there's some people who are not paid yet, last time I checked. It is really unsustainable for a campaign to pay 0.0005 per post for a Jr.member. Their signature isn't as fanciful as those who are member and above. They probably realised it isn't going to generate much traffic since Jr.member is less likely to post constructively.
