9001  Economy / Lending / Re: CEX.IO GHS borrowing on: June 22, 2014, 05:00:30 AM
In cex.io you can choose the mining pool to use?
No, your hashrates will be displayed at Ghash.io, once you buy it, it will start mining there. It is however, not recommended as it is impossible to even ROI.
9002  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do scammers scam? on: June 22, 2014, 04:56:01 AM
They probably think that they can get away with it, it is either that they think scamming will result in profit for them or just pure greed. It takes effort to properly develop a coin whereas you don't need much effort to scam.
9003  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we choose wallet address? on: June 22, 2014, 04:04:56 AM
i used web service for this, dont have any good hardware to generate 6 letters vanity address in any real time
http://bitcoinvanitygen.com
never EVER use sites like these. I used one, and the site was compromised and every address that I had made on there was wiped and the funds were sent to the hacker.

It sounds very much like the site owner "hacked" his own site. Tongue

It isn't good to even let third party to help you to generate your private key, especially when it doesn't even use https protection. The third party can hack your private key since they generated it for you.
9004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: bitcoin core uses a lot of RAM. Recommended amount? on: June 22, 2014, 04:02:34 AM
If you want to let more people connect to your node, try to get at least 1Gb of ram if not use swap to increase your ram. Mine can let 80 people to connect to my node with 2gb of ram.
9005  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New Earning Technique by Coinev.com | 999DICE TRICK 2014 on: June 22, 2014, 03:57:48 AM
Hi,
I am coinbuddy. Now a days i am loving 999dice.com you can also start loving it when you will know the trick of getting much profit with it.So i have added a trick on my website coinev.com you can see the trick there. The trick is very simple you will bet with just small amounts then a loss and then bet big and then small bets. All the bets will be 95% wining chances
See the trick
Go to Coinev.com and click on "Earn more bitcoins".At the bottom

Since when does gambling equate to earning?  Smiley
Exactly!
Ando this little "trick" you are sharing is something like martingale which is the worst model for playing in casino. You will loose all your money in a matter of seconds. It is not profitable at all. People are destroing their lives gambling it is worse then heroin believe me!
BR
Gondel

but i didn't spend any single satoshi on 999dice. I started with their free btc given i have made now 0.00004135 BTC
It doesn't prove anything, I made 100k on PD last time and I believe it was just my luck, I didn't get 100k satoshi from faucet again. It can be a lucky run once in a thousand, definitely not every time if not gambling site would not exist.

999Dice is proven to be a scam by some people, house edge also exist, people cannot expect a positive profit in the long run.
9007  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can we choose wallet address? on: June 22, 2014, 03:36:10 AM
You can use a vanity address generator, it will generate thousands of private keys until it matches your desired keyword inside. Keyword is usually 6-7 letters.
9008  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost Half of Private Key - Are Bitcoins Safe? on: June 22, 2014, 03:32:50 AM
It would still be secure, just that it can be easier, but still close to impossible, no one can brute force so many letters and words in such a short time. The best would be transferring your bitcoins to a new address.
9009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon HD 4670 AGP mining? on: June 22, 2014, 03:29:19 AM
To be honest, as more ASICs are developed over time, old ASICs and GPU are not profitable any longer. Not worth it to waste your time, the best you can do is to mine those new alt coins.
9010  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining Bitcoins with old rigs on: June 22, 2014, 03:22:26 AM
You cannot make a profit out of CPU mining in SHA256 mining anymore, not even scrypt mining or primecoin mining. Both SHA256  and Scrypt mining  have ASICs developed for them. Primecoin have GPU mining developed. Try mine some GPU and ASIC resistant coin.
9011  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Ideas for newbies to earn a little coin on: June 22, 2014, 02:38:20 AM
For bitcoins, been doing faucets as I don't have enough activity yet to do the signatures.

As a newbie, you can join the 777coin signature program. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654009.0 Smiley

The rates that they pay make it so it is almost not even worth it.

Once you achieve member status, a sig campaign is a must.

Why? It is still better than faucets, isn't it?

If you put in significant time to "just post because I am getting paid" as a newbie then you will have difficulty spending time on the forums actually learning about bitcoin.
It actually isn't good to have newbies in a signature campaign. Most of them do not have much knowledge about bitcoin and cannot give an accurate answer. It can create spams in the forum, not saying all of the newbies as some have a good knowledge of bitcoin.

9013  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: ►►► BitSleep.com - Make Bitcoin Sleeping! Payouts every 8h until 250% on: June 21, 2014, 12:57:16 PM
Would you mind putting a 10BTC into a trusted escrow incase you run away?

Nice suggestion! But how can we do? We need to invest the funds.

Thank you,
James

www.BitSleep.com - Make Bitcoin Sleeping!

I'm pretty sure, if you don't have even a spare 10BTC, we cannot be sure you can even pay us back.

9015  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it profitable to mine? on: June 21, 2014, 09:42:40 AM
better mine Litecoin, thats alot more profitable for little miners:

http://www.cryptobadger.com/2013/04/build-a-litecoin-mining-rig-hardware/
There's quite a few affordable Litecoin ASICS, it would be better to buy one of those, instead of GPUs.
9016  Economy / Services / Re: Selling my signature for 0.0001BTC per post | Payment on weekly basis on: June 21, 2014, 05:47:42 AM
I don't like their rates
You cannot get a better rate then. The signature for Jr Member have many limitations so they cannot pay as much as the member rank. Wait till you get a member rank in a few weeks and join a better signature campaign.
9017  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Is it profitable to mine? on: June 21, 2014, 01:25:05 AM
I think the current price is very low to make a profitable mining, some people say it will reach the $1000 or more by the end of July, so we

need to wait. A good option for now would be ALTcoins mining.
Alt coin ASICs are being developed, the difficulty would also skyrocket. Even if they are ASIC resistant, they can be a pump and dump coin and lose value easily.
9018  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Martingale System on: June 21, 2014, 01:19:28 AM

What would happen then if I waited till there had been already a run of 10 or 15  non winning streaks and then started betting.

You can get another runs of lose streak or you can have some win and loses. No bets affect each other, even if you have alot of lose, it cannot be guaranteed your next one will be a win. There is a equal chance of either a win or lose.

Thanks for this. i'll try this system but will not push to the limit.  Smiley

It's not a system. It's a strategy. For every 10+ wins in a row there's an equal chance of losing 10x.
Say you're betting 1000 doge. If you need to overcome 10 losses it'll cost over 500,000 ...
Not fully equal, there's something called variance, if you lose the first one, it doesn't mean you can have a 50% chance of winning the next one, you have in fact, less chance since you have to consider about the percentage of the house edge, which can be from 1% to 2%.
9020  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is BitCoin faucets really worth the time? on: June 20, 2014, 10:06:05 AM
if you will use this tool "coinev.com" every thing will be worthfull
The payout is still the same, it is only a faucet rotator and you still have to solve the captchas yourself, just every single faucets at one site.
