Activity increases every two active weeks by 14. Notice the active, you must post at least once every two weeks. Once you reach 70 activity, you are a member. By then, you can already join signature campaigns and earn bitcoins. Try to learn somethings on the time to become a member.
8662  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: any way to get a couple mBTC for free? on: July 19, 2014, 05:27:56 AM
If you are a member, you can earn mbtc from signature campaigns very easily. Faucets are really a waste of time. Look around service forums and see if you can offer anyone a service in exchange for a few mbtc.

signature campaign is not the answer since the OP wants to get some millibitcoins within only a couple hours (2-5 hours). Of course you can earn from sig campaign but it would take week or month to get paid, not in hours
Some campaigns let you to have payments upfront. However, OP must be at least member status. There's no way to get them in a couple of hours. Even buying bitcoins can take days, depending on verifications. It isn't possible to get them in hours, unless you could offer a service at the service forum.
8663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How safe is an Encrypted Bitcoin core wallet with a strong password? on: July 19, 2014, 02:46:28 AM
i mean encrypting wallet with a very strong password and doing this in a freshly installed windows pc.

That will take care of keyloggers right!

Now tell me how safe is such an encrypted wallet
[...]
A fresh Windows will most likely be not fully updated, but unless you use something old (e.g. WinXP without Service packs) you should be fine. Its also unlikely that you "just get a keylogger" as long as you are carefull. Carefull as in: dont download something from shady sources, dont download any new alt coin wallet just because, etc. pp.
more importantly, make sure your operating system install disk is clean. if you're downloading pirated windows, make sure you check the .iso's checksum against the ones published by microsoft.

Yeah my friend has original win 8 , we are planning to fresh install, update it, then install firefox and bitcoin core, then transfer all coins and encrypt with a very strong password.

Now is it safe?
Not much, Windows is known to have a lot of vulnerabilities, since you are exposed to the internet, you might get a malware. Installing Linux on an offline computer would be significantly safer.

8665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poll : do you trust an exchange to hold your bitcoins ? on: July 19, 2014, 02:17:40 AM
Depending on amount and how old the exchange is.
Not much about the age of an exchange. Looking at mtgox, even though they were around for many years, they eventually collapsed in the end. An exchange may be old but they are still exposed to the vulnerability which exist in the exchange. A good exchange would be one who does regular checks on security, though you still cannot trust them too much.
8666  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin bought at ATM = Cold storage? on: July 19, 2014, 12:41:21 AM
Your private key may have been online. Since the ATM is not yours, you cannot guarantee that they would not record the private key. Since they need internet connection to send bitcoins, they might create the key online too. The machine might be infected with malware and your private key might be stolen.
8667  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Discussion about post quality for PRIMEDICE signature campaign. on: July 18, 2014, 03:24:51 PM
In order to stop spam posts, I think Stunna should lower the max post per month to 50 or 100 posts

If you are an active poster you can easily post more than that in a month. 400 posts is about 12 posts per day. I was posting about that before being on an advertising campaing. Just by being active in a single thread you could post that without realizing by replying back and forth.
I tried 100 post in four days, being as constructive as possible. It is quite hard but possible. Currently, I try to keep my post constructive and slow. I still deduct some post from the constructive post though. People like hilariousandco can post a lot while being constructive and helpful to the community. I believe he spend a lot of time on this forum since he reported many post. People can still be constructive while posting a lot.

Hi stunna, im looking at joining up with your sig as i've seen good reports, just need to know if u count off topic post towards the monthly target? Thanks
Stunna would count those who are constructive in off topic, like giving opinions and ideas. Other types of reply like banning people would fall under the non constructive section. Stunna probably prefer most of the post in the other parts of the forum though. Just don't count those posts in that thread.
8669  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature & Personal MSG Campaign ★☆★ Newb,jr,mem Ref Bonus 10%! on: July 18, 2014, 09:26:15 AM
When are you going to add Seniors and Hero Members?
Seniors and hero members can participate, however your rewards at this time will be capped to the normal member levels of 0.0001BTC per post
That's what I'm asking actually. When will you create suitable rates for them?
Also I see that you accept people with negative trust rating?
The second lowest paying per post campaign is easily 4 times of the members amount. Especially when they require the user to also add a personal message to participate. Most campaigns do not even use that.
8670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction Fee question on: July 18, 2014, 09:20:39 AM
It may take really long time, why are you so greedy?? You only need to spend like 10-20 cents on transaction fee if not less.
it's just an example for the question, i always add fee for miners Grin
i saw some big amount of tx not include fee, like my current signature payment did
If your 1btc has more than 150 confirmations, you can send it for free. Same goes to 0.5btc with 300 confirmations.
where i can get this information? it's only take 25 hours to get 150 confirmation

If you leave it to get old enough, your outputs must not be dust and your inputs must also not be dusts. The transaction size also matter other than the age.
what's parameter to described old enough?
for one day? for 150 confirmations?
For about 144 confirmations is enough. Since your outputs aren't dust, it should be confirmed eventually, considering that it was kept for sometime. You can find it on the bitcoin wiki, transaction fees section.
Quote
Transactions need to have a priority above 57,600,000 to avoid the enforced limit (as of client version 0.3.21). This threshold is written in the code as COIN * 144 / 250, suggesting that the threshold represents a one day old, 1 btc coin (144 is the expected number of blocks per day) and a transaction size of 250 bytes.

So, for example, a transaction that has 2 inputs, one of 5 btc with 10 confirmations, and one of 2 btc with 3 confirmations, and has a size of 500bytes, will have a priority of
8671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why does losing ~10,000 satoshis feel so bad? on: July 18, 2014, 09:12:08 AM
forget about faucet and BTC, you earn only 10000 satoshi for three days and you'll feel so bad if you lose it in just one bet Tongue
i earn 20000-30000 satoshi / day form my referrals, and just gamble it away for 3x-4x profit
if i loose, i'm not feel bad, since i didn't waste my time t earn it Tongue
Not many people can have that much active referrals, you would need a lot of time and planning to get so much referrals.

Hello, I deposited here. Is my deposit lost if it is off line
Probably not, just contact Stunna if this happens. Stunna can just do a Rescan and all the BTC would appear.
8673  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: investing in cex.io on: July 18, 2014, 07:57:10 AM
1) bad experience Tongue their GHS is way overpriced, and they maintenance fee is horrible
2) per Day   0.00002901 BTC   $0.02
minus their maintenance fee (just googling about it)
you will get lesser
3) Do no buy there, just keep your bitcoin in your wallet is wise decision

just googling some thread about cex.io experience in BTT

cex.io is very expensive now  Tongue
you can try to invest in LUNAMINE

Or PBmining, I've been seeing a lot of hype around that lately. I haven't personally tried any of these cloud mining services.
I haven't really see proof of their mining hardware, haven't checked for a long time. Cloud mining services typically wouldn't ROI, if not why don't they mine for themselves. The difficulty can and will increase quite fast, minimizing your profits.
8674  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Investing in cloud? Worth it? Which site to pick? on: July 18, 2014, 07:54:18 AM

what can you guys say about CEX, Is it worth investing ghs to them?
Obviously not, the price is too damn high, around two to three times the price of an average cloud mining service. Their fees take a huge percentage of your mining profits. The GH /BTC price would drop and you might not be recovering your investment since the difficulty increases quite fast.

all those without ;u=number link to the profil of the person clicking the link. I start to think that this new enrolment causes more trouble than its worth.
Stunna might want to implement a system which automatically rejects invalid profiles and add valid ones to the payment list. It takes some time for Stunna to check the actual profile.
8676  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction Fee question on: July 18, 2014, 07:48:34 AM
I think its retarded to pay any form of fee unless its a third party.
I don't think it's fair for any miner to get no fee. People work for a reason, you obviously have to pay a bit of service or goods tax. If not, they wouldn't earn a lot. For bitcoin, in 130+ years, there will be little mining rewards, if people don't pay fees, miners are literally mining for no profit.

I notice the BTC and the Post count is on the wrong side. That's one bug to fix, other than that, it looks nice. I can't see the table using my android browser for some reason.

Look around the forum, post and learn somethings. When you reach member status, join a signature campaign, you can easily post constructive posts as you can advice people better. Your time also wouldn't be wasted.

PD3 "next month" for 10 months now? Anyway that's not the main issue I am havin;
When you autoroll you end up getting error after a couple of hundred rolls, why is that?
Stunna explained that cloudflare checks if you are active after a period of time. It will disconnect you if it detects you as inactive.
8680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why does losing ~10,000 satoshis feel so bad? on: July 17, 2014, 01:41:53 PM
I just bet 12,000 satoshis on Freebitco.in and lost it all. In reality, 12,000 satoshis is only worth 6 cents.

The only explanation I could think of is that those 12,000 satoshis took me three days to earn. So it seems that three days worth of effort has been wasted.

Also, the opposite is true. The "rush" of winning 10,000 satoshis is disproportional to the actual value of those satoshis.

Anyone else feel the same way when betting faucet earnings?
You probably took a long time to earn those. Losing them felt like days of hard work gone in a few bets. Betting always lose, even though it's a faucet.
