8721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: @Just-Dice investors on: July 14, 2014, 10:50:22 AM
Now that Just-Dice is no longer in operation, I would advise people who want to invest in dice sites to diversify. Spread your bitcoins between multiple dice sites. Dooglus was a highly trusted member here, and none of the new sites have the same reputation that Just-Dice had. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
Actually, most of them do not have much reputation, they can run away with your money if they want to and nobody can find them. You don't earn much from dice sites, if one of them goes, you may not be able to recover your investments. There isn't much dice sites in the first place.

I literally placed all my BTC into this bet and won. I was certain that Germany had a chance to win. Messi have still done very well.

Can you poin to some sites that can be used to sell btc and withdraw to the Mbank card ?
I have previously used Bitstamp with the WBK cards, but as you say in pm, bitstamp only allows withdrawing to a bank account with the same holders names as the account holder.

Localbitcoins would be a good idea. If not, try kraken or Virwox. Virwox fees are quite steep. I'm happy with localbitcoins, their price isn't bad and do not require verifications.
8724  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Getting paid for signature space? on: July 13, 2014, 01:24:24 PM
You can join PD campaign in your current status (member status), you get 0.0004 per post for a maximum of 400 ones per month. They don't pay the highest but they are one of the most established campaigns.

actually they are, UpDown isn't paying I think..

After gone for a month, now they're closing their sig campaign. Payment is done for some members now

so PrimeDice is the highest paying signature campaign?

I think they and 777coin are the only remaining pay per post campaigns
Not the highest. But the most number of participants and most stable one. They have over hundred participants and stunna have paid each of them without fail. I believe people would join a lower paying campaign which is reliable rather than one which pays high but doesn't have reputation.
8725  Other / Off-topic / Re: FIFA World Cup 2014!!! on: July 13, 2014, 01:20:34 PM
what time is the final ?
how many hours away is it ??
it should be within 6 or so hours right Huh
6 hours from now. Pretty nervous now, I predicted Germany to win. What are your opinions guys?
8726  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 0.01 loan on: July 13, 2014, 12:45:20 PM
I totally forgot about this loan, but just now remembered because I saw the repayment in my wallet. Thanks, this is the 2nd time I loaned btc to this member.
You should definitely up his trust x2, since you had risked btc and he repaid like he said.
He deserves to be noticed for his honesty.
I don't think I deserve to really get trust since it is only a 0.01 loan. The btc loaned isn't really noticeable. Maybe if the amount is 0.1, I can be considered as honest.

Just wondering; where is everyone investing their BTC now that Dooglus has paid out all owing investments? Has there been anyone enter the market that's even close to being as trustworthy as Dooglus within the BTC gambling industry?

No real places to invest Bitcoin in my opinion now that just-dice is gone more or less I leave a bit of change on mintpal and try to figure out that market although I would much prefer a good storage location like JD anyday.

While Id prefer JD to come back and thus have the majority of my coins safe, I gave BTCJam and and  PRCDice a chance. Just a little bit to test the water.
BTCjam can be risky if you concentrate your investment only on one borrower. There is a lot of defaults happening there. Spreading your investments to a larger number of borrowers may help to reduce the risk.

8730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where should i invest 1 btc ? on: July 13, 2014, 09:14:08 AM
I would say hold most of it but send some to an exchange and play around buying and selling some alts.  Take some risks, live life.
Unless you have a good idea of how to trade, it simply isn't recommended. You are more likely to lose than to earn by trading. I don't think OP likes to risk a portion of his BTC.
8731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: @Just-Dice investors on: July 13, 2014, 09:11:47 AM
Stunna probably is one of the most trusted in gambling sites. However, Stunna don't feel secure enabling that, I'm currently just holding it at my cold storage. I have seen too much gambling sites ending up getting "hacked" or hacked.
8732  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: is it profitable to start mining today?? on: July 13, 2014, 08:04:39 AM
no one will know for sure
for example, u solo mine, then in a few days, u got 25btc
its like winning a lottery  Cheesy

but its not like that if u play in pool...
However, for most hardware, it would be a miracle for them to even block unless you invest hundreds of thousands of dollars in it.

hi I live in Ukraine and I want to register in coinbase Can I do this? Here are the rules http://support.coinbase.com/customer/portal/articles/1404401-can-i-add-a-non-us-credit-card-or-one-that-has-a-non-us-address-
I don't think so, OP stated that this is a Poland debit card. Coinbase requires a bank account from US and a credit card.
8734  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 13, 2014, 05:08:27 AM
Hey guys , can somebody explain what the collecting payment mechanism is ?

Can you claim payment at any time you get 50 posts ?
Or does your payment get processed only on the 17th , so you should claim payment at 16th or something ?
You must claim it on 17 Of the month. Your request get processed within 24 hours of submission. You must also have at least 50 post to claim payment.
8735  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Question about usb port erupter[im new] on: July 13, 2014, 03:57:36 AM
Any more opinions?
Find a powered USB hub. You shouldn't expect to ROI anytime soon. The difficulty is increasing too fast and it consumes too much electricity and the price per gh ratio isn't good.
Firstly, I would like to ask what is "ROI"? What happens when the difficulty is increasing?
ROI is revenue of investment. Which means that you earning what you invested. If you invested a lot but the returns is low, you probably wouldn't ROI. Difficulty increase means that you need more shares to solve a block. When more shares are taken to solve a block, your payouts will be lower per share, and it would be harder to share.
So you mean it's not worth anymore to mine bitcoins?
It depends on a lot of factor. The price of btc to fiat, predicted difficulty increase, electrical cost and hardware cost. You can still make a profit if you can get cheap and efficient hardware and low electrical cost. There is no guarantees if the difficulty would increase very fast or the hardware would have a short lifespan. It is a gamble to make a profit of mining.

8738  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tutorial help on backing up wallet.dat?? on: July 13, 2014, 01:45:32 AM
You can just make a dropbox account and just backup your wallet.dat file there!  Smiley
There is still a noticeable amount of security risk there. If dropbox gets hacked, your wallet would also be hacked. If you cannot remember the password, your wallet.dat would be lost forever.
8739  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Next diff increase 3% (in 50 minutes) on: July 13, 2014, 01:37:09 AM
Huge jump coming soon, 20% at least... Rockbox and s3 is coming..
Should highly depend on the shipping time and if they even ship. If there is a delay, the difficulty increase can be smaller.
8740  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: July 13, 2014, 01:35:24 AM
So if you didn't fill out the form for several months but have kept posting & kept the signature, do you get any backpay?

This is first month we are using this form...

I didn't post/PM to collect my payment either.

Several months ago when I was last really active on this forum, I made a post & PM saying that I wanted to collect my payment for the month and re-enroll.

Since then I haven't collected any payment or made any posts to this thread, but have kept the sig.
After collecting payment, you are expected to make at least 50post to claim payment. If you do not, you are ineligible for a payment, even if u kept the signature.
