So...Is no one going to reply to this ?
2282  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS: 2x Powercolor 5770, 2x MSI 870-G45 on: August 22, 2011, 07:01:51 AM
OP: Please be completely straight forward as to the condition of the cards and under what terms they were purchased....and I would be more than happy to take them off your hands and have them shipped BACK to Canada.
2283  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: The community needs good Crossfire-Friendly (or, exploitive) Mining Software on: August 22, 2011, 01:51:30 AM
you can mine with multiple cards on the same computer without using crossfire ......
....thanks Captain Obvious.

The point I was trying to make was to take 4 shitty processing threads and team them up into 1 SUPER THREAD, so during SHORT ROUNDS IN A POOL your 200Mh/s cards are struggling to make 2 shares/each when the 6990 users have 50+ under their belts in the same amount of time.
GET IT NOW ?
2284  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / The community needs good Crossfire-Friendly (or, exploitive) Mining Software on: August 22, 2011, 01:33:52 AM
The community needs good Crossfire-Friendly (or, exploitive) Mining Software.......and here's why I think so:

With the current price of Video Cards vs. the current ROI, it really doesn't make sense to mine for profit using a 6990 @ $700+USD anymore.....BUT...

Take 3x or 4x 5770 Cards @ $99/each and combine their solo-200MH/s power into a single hashing POWERHOUSE thread and you will have alot of people saying 69-what ? ....exactly.

I use 5770 cards as an example because they are plentiful on the market, give a great ROI (return on investment) and are Crossfire capable....not to mention, 100w/card.

Doesn't this make sense ?

1x 6990 @ 700MH/s = $700+USD .......OR........ 4x 5770 @ 800MH/s = $400 USD.

The money you would save on power supply requirements would go directly to a motherboard that could support 4 cards.
2285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: did i solve a block on: August 22, 2011, 01:19:52 AM
Those are rejected blocks.

Look at the summary screen.  It shows 85 (86) for the 5870, 68 (69) for the first 5970, and 107 (110) for the second 5970.  Those match up with the 1, 1 and 3 showing in the device tabs.
Actually, the (bracketed numbers) in Guiminer are an hourly running total (current 60 minute window total) that rises and falls.......
2286  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [NR 1] Triplemining.com <> BIG jackpot every week <> on: August 22, 2011, 12:16:56 AM
If I'm not mistaken, it is now 15 minutes AFTER Midnight GMT....

SO, WHO WON THE 6990 ?

I realize that more than 10 blocks didn't get solved (so a second card was not made available), but as you said, 1 card was ready to be given away regardless (or do I need to get my IRC chat logs out ?)...

Please post the winner's name here so we can all congratulate them in public.
2287  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [NR 1] Triplemining.com <> BIG jackpot every week <> on: August 21, 2011, 11:06:02 PM
1 question though: How will we be able to see each other dancing...and who will see us ?....and do we all use the same music and choreography ? or is it up to us what we do and what we play while dancing in the background ?

Perhaps Flash Mobs are different in other parts of the world ?
2288  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [NR 1] Triplemining.com <> BIG jackpot every week <> on: August 21, 2011, 11:02:48 PM
...not to mention, there is a 6990 waiting to be given away and the second card will be given away after the 10th block is found.
2289  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bitcoin FLASH MOB MINING :)) || For triplemining.com members on: August 21, 2011, 10:01:00 PM
That's funny, I was told in their IRC chan that there was already 1 card laying in wait, ready to give away, REGARDLESS OF OUTCOME and a SECOND 6990 would be added for give away AFTER 10 blocks.

**ONLY ACTIVE MINERS, DURING THE DRAW WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CARD.......

Looks like the plot thickens.....

Good luck TripleTiming .......I mean, Triplemining.

It also depends if he's in Canada or not.....and if he's willing to make a package deal Wink
2296  Economy / Goods / Re: FS: 4 x XFX Reference 6870 @ 300mh/s each - $150ea on: August 05, 2011, 09:00:35 PM
Where are you located ?
2297  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.luckycoin.in -- Now with Blackjack on: August 04, 2011, 11:31:33 PM
Alright, this is retarded.

Open Site --->Get Send-to Address ---> Send BTC -----> Page Generates Error and address disapears....WTF ?

Now, I have opened/Closed/surfed away, rebooted and done everything else I can, yet every time I open the page, I still get the same new address that was provided AFTER my deposit disapeared.

One thing I haven't tried, is to try and resend more BTC to the shown address. Perhaps THAT will get it to disapear.

Great Functionality.

My REFUND address is in my Signature.
2298  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.luckycoin.in -- Now with Blackjack on: August 04, 2011, 11:16:55 PM
So, should I assume that Tech Support has Business Hours and I should only consider one of his games when GamblingPurveyor is online ?

IE.8 ERROR ON PAGE ......and my wallet is 1 BTC lighter..
2299  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.luckycoin.in -- Now with Blackjack on: August 04, 2011, 11:08:10 PM
Error ?
I just made a .99 BTC Deposit and nothing happened, now there is a new SEND ADDRESS on my screen.......
2300  Economy / Gambling / Re: KUDOS to StrikeSapphire on: August 04, 2011, 06:51:43 PM
I couldn't have asked for a better response, so thank you for taking the time to answer another question you have probably come across dozens of times.

StrikeSapphire definately gets my vote.

I do have 1 suggestion though, as it might not affect your company either way, but it is definately a 'loophole' that may be exploited by some.

Your company does business in DOLLARS, doing a conversion to and from BTC at Deposit and Withdrawl, using market value.
Doesn't this give some 'Market Watchers' a bit of an advantage ?

For example; What if a few players made deposits during a HIGH BTC RATE (say, last month @ $15.00+), then withdrew when they felt the market took enough of a low turn (recently $10.00). With this method, they can completely sidestep the xchanges and FORCE a more favorable withrawl price, getting more BTC than they essentially deposited, just by using StrikeSapphire as an insta-exchange type of 'Bank'.

With this being a BTC Casino, wouldn't it be less of a risk for StrikeSapphire's bottom line to keep everything (including gameplay) in BTC to avoid unwanted 'Marketplay' ?

The only reason I even bring this up is, early this morning, during my first withdrawl, my expectations (due to your advertised market rates) were 1 total, yet I received LESS by the time it was processed hours later. It only affected me by about 0.2 BTC...and trust me, I'm not complaining, because it was a nice profit, but it just got me thinking that if it could work 1 way, it could also work the other way.......

Sorry for laying this out here. I am more than willing to delete this post if I have overstepped any boundries.

Like I said, I am HAPPY with StrikeSapphire Wink
