1921  Economy / Auctions / Re: btc-guild.com <-- domain name auction!! on: January 21, 2012, 05:17:35 AM
HHhmmm. Something about this seems rather familiar.
However, I am interested...but only if you also have deep-bit.com or perhaps micro-soft.com also for auction  Roll Eyes
1922  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitscalper anyone use this ? on: January 21, 2012, 05:01:42 AM
I'd just like to say.......
I bet you would like to SAY something.....judging from your previous posts, you seem to have alot to say. Keep that post count climbing  Roll Eyes

........this is a scam.
Obviously you are familiar with this particular service ? As in, YOU HAVE USED BITSCALPER ? OR ARE A CURRENT USER OF BITSCALPER ?

Judging this situation at face value would be similar to someone calling you out for being a Sexual Deviant, Net Predator or perhaps a Registered Sex Offender because you have made nearly 40 enthusiastic posts on your first day, trying desperately to establish some sort of public rapport, yet you choose to make your email address private in your profile.
1923  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for a 4 BTC Loan on: January 21, 2012, 04:32:35 AM
Looking for a 4 BTC Loan......It's quite urgent so I'd really appreciate it.
Unless you are living in a 3rd World Country and this $25 USD will buy you food for 1 month, How can an amount this small be considered urgent ?
The only other explanation is that you are a kid.....
1924  Economy / Goods / Re: $100 amex giftcard for BTC on: January 21, 2012, 04:11:54 AM
i have a $50 amex that i'll shuffle off for $45 in btc or mtgox codes - and i do have plenty of rep.

(sorry to hijack your thread dude, just trying to sell my shit like you)
Nice thread-crap ...idiot. Forum etiquette .....much ?

@BitcoinEXpress

Nice try on creating a new thread simply because you didn't have anywhere left to complain  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

I see I have another stalker fan or either another Coinhunter sock puppy on my tail!

Either way, a loser.

~BCX~

It's simply cause & effect.

For someone who in another thread, stated that he didn't live on the internet....you sure spend alot of time hanging around here crying and complaining.

Why don't we just put all BS aside and help YOU get to the REAL root of the problem(s) you are currently battling with.
Maybe just get to the real problem(s) and stop skirting the issues that seem to be causing you so much pain, such as not enough hugs from mommy ? an ugly wife ? no 'non-internet' friends ? .....no life ? or perhaps a little out of column A and a little out of column B ?

I really want to be your friend, but I've encountered children who cry less than you, so what's the real problem ?

I had a VERY positive experience using BitScalper.

Fast responses to emails, extremely fast withdrawal and of course, profit.

I am still using the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone interested in making a few extra BTC for essentially doing nothing.

The Support Team was extremely professional in all correspondences.
1928  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: cgminer web monitor on: January 19, 2012, 10:42:31 PM
php-sockets was the problem.... it was commented out in the php.ini file.

Everything works great now.

Thanks for your help
1929  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: cgminer web monitor on: January 19, 2012, 09:48:34 PM

define "displays an error in the 'include' file."

Can you provide some more details about the specifics of the error.  You should be able to get it running on that box.

1930  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3 x 6970 in Windows...Help needed (.5 BTC bounty) on: January 19, 2012, 08:25:42 PM
GOT IT ! thanks.

As far as CGMiner, make sure and give it a try. You will LOVE IT.

Storage Updated Smiley

Is there a reason you don't reply to the PMs I sent you in the past, in regards to investing with you ?
Do you not like me ? Do I stink ? Is my BTC not good enough ?
Regardless of you not accepting new investments currently, I contacted you previously when you had storage room, yet no reply.
Did I offend you somehow ?

LOL, why yes, your coins come to me covered in some type of sticky substance. No, I'm really sorry, from the time I leave my computer to sleep and come back I have a lot of PM's to go through.  I'll go through them now and find out who else I have missed.

I appreciate that, thanks for the quick post.

I just thought I was wasting your time...but I offered a decent amount of BTC in the process and couldn't understand why no reply...lol

Thanks for the clarification Wink

Can I sign up on your 'Waiting' List ?

Hey Jim, first off, I love the demo link you posted. This looks great so far.

I decided to give it a shot and unfortunately all I have to use currently on my home network is a Win 2k8 x86 web server running IIS7.
I have PHP installed already (for previous work I needed), but it seems that I must be missing something, as I can not get it working.
It simply dies when trying to connect/create the socket connection and displays an error in the 'include' file.

Any tips or anything I should be looking for specifically ?

Thanks in advance.
1934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Core, Bus, Cache... What is more important for mining? on: January 19, 2012, 07:26:42 PM
If everyone uses a fast miner this is the same as everyone uses a slow one coz of DIFFICULTY adjusting. So no point to give it to everyone.

Why not offer it up for sale then ? require a key or some sort of license validation and make some cash from it.

There is a pretty fancy BTC Mining Utility on this forum that is the flashiest I have ever seen and looks awesome, but it is also tied to a pool and unfortunately, that pool is not as popular as I am sure the Pool owner would like it to be......regardless of his awesome performing/looking software.
The 'Pool Binding' idea is bad....just sell it.
1935  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3 x 6970 in Windows...Help needed (.5 BTC bounty) on: January 19, 2012, 07:04:28 PM
If I could offer up 1 more small, but hopefully relevant piece of advise ? (no charge....unless you think it's worth something...lol)

Ditch GUIMiner and get on the CGMiner train.

I use it on all my Win7 x64 machines and it rocks. It has the ability to use a config file, but I still find it easier to launch it from a BAT file.

1- Create a new TXT file in Windows.

2- Paste in the following (change where needed)

Quote
start /affinity 1 cgminer -o http://YOURPOOL.COM:8332 -u YOURUSERNAME -p YOURPASSWORD -I 9 --gpu-engine XXX --gpu-memclock 300 --auto-fan --temp-target 69

3- Close TXT File, SAVE, RENAME the file something.BAT (have 'hide known file extensions' disabled, or it will remain a TXT file, regardless of extension)

4- Right-Click the BAT file, choose EDIT (opens in Notepad), Make the required changes, adding your POOL, USERNAME, PASSWORD, GPU Clock Speed (replace XXX). CLOSE/SAVE

5- DOWNLOAD the latest CGMiner (2.1.2) for Win32 (no x64 version, doesn't matter, runs fine). Unzip it anywhere you like.
Thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=28402.0  .........  Direct Download Link (From Developer) - http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/cgminer-2.1.2-win32.zip

6- CUT/PASTE the something.BAT file into your CGMiner directory and Double-Click it.....VOILA!

The above CMD is set to run MEM @ 300Mhz and your Target Temp with Auto Fan control at 69C, but these values can be changed also.
Regardless of whatever driver, the CMD is also set to run on a single CPU core, rather than 100%, or all 4 cores of your Quad Core, if that's what you have (affinity = quick fix for 100% CPU Bug).

This will automatically control all 3 of your cards and give you 2 mining threads per card (default setting). Once you get your 'feet wet' with it, you can explore more options.
What I provided above is a basic (pretty much what I use exactly) setup for most of my cards, including my quad 6950 Miners (using I=9 Intensity as above).

Give it a try....you WON'T be dissapointed.

CGMiner replaces Overclocking Software, Fan Control and Miner - ALL IN ONE Wink
1936  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3 x 6970 in Windows...Help needed (.5 BTC bounty) on: January 19, 2012, 06:44:34 PM
Bounty goes to BitLane Smiley

BitLane, please send me your BTC address and I will send you .5 BTC.  Be advised that I will not be able to send until later today because I need to buy a new network cable.  After you post your address, I will post again after I have sent the .5 BTC.

I think you got lucky Smiley  I was very tired last night and made the dumb mistake of opening 3 tabs but NOT changing the devices from Cayman-0 to Cayman-1 and Cayman-2.

Thanks for the easy fix!

Glad to see you got it fixed. Although I didn't offer up the advise for the bounty, I will accept it none the less Wink
Thanks.

1937  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 3 x 6970 in Windows...Help needed (.5 BTC bounty) on: January 19, 2012, 07:08:16 AM
Check your driver version (I like 11.8, no dummy plugs needed).
Make sure you are selecting the appropriate DEVICES in GuiMiner (Cayman 0-1, 1-1, 2-1 etc), when setting up the 2nd and 3rd card mining Tabs.
No Crossfire Fire.
1938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] RealCoin - Targeted to the IM world! on: January 19, 2012, 06:42:35 AM
Well I can't have Like-jr taking all the credit for killing alt-coins now can I ?  Grin Grin Grin
Definitely not, because if you weren't around to blow your own horn every once in a while....no one else would.

I will be registering my alt-ego RealcoinExpress forum account soon, so please stay tuned.

I hope to continue the legacy of "*coinExpress" account posting in a manner that would also have people believe that I am trapped in my mother's basement as well.

I can't wait to mine this coin. FINALLY, someone coming clean with their plans for a Crypto Currency (and investment/returns etc), rather than pinning it on an Open Source 'Project' that has got to be the biggest scam since the dot-com bubble burst.
Nerds can find a way to justify anything under the GPL.

People tend to forget that Bitcoin is the biggest scam on the Net right now.
1939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will shutdown Realcoin on: January 19, 2012, 06:31:40 AM
Bad news for Realcoin if BigCPUminer and BitcoinEXpress join forces to stomp this into Coiledcoin territoty LOL

I've always wondered what socially inept virgins did with their time......and money as it were.
Thanks for clearing that up.

1940  Other / Meta / Re: Diablo labels thread in off-topic "inappropriate" for the forum - high five! on: January 14, 2012, 02:32:06 AM
It's back in Pools now, definitely doesn't belong in Off Topic.
....and it's back in OFF TOPIC unfortunately.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=56802.0

Just to be clear, you agree that this belongs in POOLS, correct ?
